| 1 | Chinese Stroke Center Alliance:a national effort to improve healthcare quality for acute stroke and transient ischaemic attack:rationale,design and preliminary findings显示文摘Background In June 2015,the Chinese Stroke Association(CSA)initiated the Chinese Stroke Center Alliance(CSCA)to establish the national hospital-based stroke care quality assessment and improvement platform.This article outlines its objectives,operational structure,patient population,quality improvement(QI)intervention tools,data elements,data collection methodology and current patient and hospital data.Methods The CSCA is a national,hospital-based,multicentre,voluntary,multifaceted intervention and continuous QI initiative.This multifaceted intervention includes stroke centre development,written care protocols,workshops and a monitoring/feedback system of evidencebased performance measures.The data coordinating centre of the CSCA resides at the China National Clinical Research Center for Neurological Diseases,Beijing Tiantan Hospital.results As of July 2017,1576 hospitals in China have contributed detailed clinical information to serve as a benchmark for the stroke care quality of 433264 patients with acute stroke/transient ischaemic attacks(TIA),including 352572(81.38%)acute ischaemic stroke,30362(7.01%)TIA,42080(9.71%)spontaneous intracranial haemorrhage,5505(1.27%)subarachnoid haemorrhage and 2745(0.63%)not specified stroke.Conclusion The CSCA programme is designed to establish a continuous national stroke registry and help healthcare providers develop stroke centres and treat patients in a consistent manner in accordance with accepted national guidelines and,ultimately,improve patient outcomes.It supports the CSA mission to reduce stroke burden in China. | Yongjun Wang Zixiao Li Yilong Wang Xingquan Zhao Liping Liu Xin Yang Caiyun Wang Hongqiu Gu Fuying Zhang Chunjuan Wang Ying Xian David Z Wang Qiang Dong Anding Xu Jizong Zhao Chinese Stroke Center Alliance investigators | 2018 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2018,3,4: | 38 |
| 2 | Numerical simulation of powder transport behavior in laser cladding with coaxial powder feeding显示文摘Laser cladding with coaxial powder feeding is one of the new processes applied to produce well bonding coating on the component to improve performance of its surface. In the process, the clad material is transported by the carrying gas through the coaxial nozzle, generating gas-powder flow. The powder feeding process in the coaxial laser cladding has important influence on the clad qualities. A 3D numerical model was developed to study the powder stream structure of a coaxial feeding nozzle. The predicted powder stream structure was well agreed with the experimental one. The validated model was used to explore the collision behavior of particles in the coaxial nozzle, as well as powder concentration distribution. It was found that the particle diameter and restitution coefficient greatly affect the velocity vector at outlet of nozzle due to the collisions, as well as the powder stream convergence characteristics below the nozzle. | 3 | Rare earth element and yttrium compositions of the Paleoproterozoic Yuanjiacun BIF in the Lüliang area and their implications for the Great Oxidation Event(GOE)显示文摘In China, most Precambrian banded iron formations(BIFs) are situated in the North China Craton. The Yuanjiacun iron deposit, located in the Lüliang area, is arguably the most representative Superior-type BIF. This iron deposit is coherent with the sedimentary rock succession of the Yuanjiacun Formation in the lower Lüliang Group, and was interpreted to be deposited at 2.3–2.1 Ga, based on ages of overlying and underlying volcanic strata. This age overlaps with the time range of the Great Oxidation Event(GOE, 2.4–2.2 Ga). The Yuanjiacun BIF consists mainly of subhedral-xenomorphic magnetite and quartz and rarely other minerals with a lower degree of metamorphism, from greenschist to lower amphibolite facies. The geochemical characteristics of this BIF are similar to those of Superior-type BIFs. Prominent positive La, Y, and Eu anomalies normalized by the Post Archean Australian Shale(PAAS) indicate that the primary chemical precipitate is a result of solutions that represent mixtures of seawater and high-T hydrothermal fluids. The contamination from crustal detritus found is negligible based on low abundances of Al2O3 and TiO2(<0.5%) and of trace elements such as Th, Hf, Zr, and Sc(<1.5 ppm), as well as the lack of co-variations between Al2O3 and TiO2. In particular, the Yuanjiacun BIF samples do not display significant negative Ce anomalies like those of the Archean iron formations, but rather, the Yuanjiacun BIF samples exhibit prominent positive Ce anomalies, low Y/Ho ratios, and high light to heavy REE((Pr/Yb)SN) ratios, which are essentially consistent with the late Paleoproterozoic(<2.0 Ga) BIFs around the world. These characteristics of the Yuanjiacun BIF samples imply that the ancient ocean(2.3–2.1 Ga) was redox-stratified from oxic shallow water to deeper anoxic water. The specific redox conditions of the ancient ocean may be related to the GOE, which gave rise to the oxidation of Ce and Mn in the upper water, and to the presence of a Mn oxide shuttle in the ocean, resulting in varying REE patterns due to the precipitation and dissolution of this Mn oxide shuttle under different redox states. After a brief introduction of supercapacitors and 2D materials, recent progress on flexible supercapacitors using 2D materials is reviewed. Here we provide insights into the structure–property relationships of flexible electrodes, in particular free-standing films. | 5 | Porous bowl-shaped VS2 nanosheets/graphene composite for high-rate lithium-ion storage显示文摘Two-dimensional (2D) layered vanadium disulfide (VS2) is a promising anode material for lithium ion batteries (LIBs) due to the high theoretical capacity.However,it remains a challenge to synthesize monodispersed ultrathin VS2 nanosheets to realize the full potential.Herein,a novel solvothermal method has been developed to prepare the monodispersed bowl-shaped NH3-inserted VS2 nanosheets (VS2).The formation of such a unique structure is caused by the blocked growth of (001) or (002) crystal planes in combination with a ripening process driven by the thermodynamics.The annealing treatment in Ar/H2creates porous monodispersed VS2(H-VS2),which is subsequently integrated with graphene oxide to form porous monodispersed H-VS2/rGO composite coupled with a reduction process.As an anode material for LIBs,H-VS2/rGO delivers superior rate performance and longer cycle stability:a high average capacity of 868/525 mAh g^-1 at a current density of 1/10 A g^-1;a reversible capacity of 1177/889 mAh g^-1 after 150/500 cycles at 0.2/1 A g^-1.Such excellent electrochemical performance may be attributed to the increased active sites available for lithium storage,the alleviated volume variations and the shortened Li-ion diffusion induced from the porous structure with large specific surface area,as well as the protective effect from graphene nanosheets. | Daxiong Wu Caiyun Wang Mingguang Wu Yunfeng Chao Pengbin He Jianmin Ma | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,4: | 11 |

| 10 | Temporal-spatial subspaces modern combination method for 2D-DOA estimation in MIMO radar显示文摘A 2D-direction of arrival estimation(DOAE) for multiinput and multi-output(MIMO) radar using improved multiple temporal-spatial subspaces in estimating signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques method(TS-ESPRIT) is introduced. In order to realize the improved TS-ESPRIT, the proposed algorithm divides the planar array into multiple uniform sub-planar arrays with common reference point to get a unified phase shifts measurement point for all sub-arrays. The TS-ESPRIT is applied to each sub-array separately, and in the same time with the others to realize the parallelly temporal and spatial processing, so that it reduces the non-linearity effect of model and decreases the computational time. Then, the time difference of arrival(TDOA)technique is applied to combine the multiple sub-arrays in order to form the improved TS-ESPRIT. | 12 | Identification of petroleum aromatic fraction by comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography with time-of-flight mass spectrometry显示文摘Comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography coupled with time-of-flight mass spectrometry(GC×GC-TOFMS) is commercially available in the 1990s,with the characteristics of large peak capacity,high resolution,high sensitivity,etc.However,its application to the petroleum and geological analyses is just emerging in China and overseas.In this research,the analytical method for petroleum aromatic fraction using GC×GC-TOFMS is set up,via the choice of the column system and optimization of setting parameters,such as temperature programming,modulation time,hot pulse time,flow rate of carrier gas,data acquisition rate and data processing.The results indicate that different polar compounds of aromatic fraction distribute as bands on structured GC×GC chromatogram.Within each band,homologous compounds appear as a roof-tile structure based on the number of substituent residues.The aromatic compounds are identified and characterized according to the GC×GC chromatogram and mass spectra.According to the polarity and the number of rings,aromatic compounds are spatially present on one chromatogram,which directly reflects the distribution characteristics of complex compounds of aromatic hydrocarbons.In addition,quantitative analysis is favored as some overlapped peaks on traditional GC-MS chromatogram have been separated completely on GC×GC.Some heterocyclic atom aromatic compounds at trace level can be clearly identified using this method,for polarity differences from other interfered aromatic compounds.The development of this method and chromatogram recognition offer petroleum geologists a practical example for the application performance of GC×GC-TOFMS. | WANG HuiTong WENG Na ZHANG ShuiChang ZHU GuangYou CHEN JianPing WEI CaiYun | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,19: | 6 |
| 13 | Expressions of apoptosis-related proteins in rats with focal cerebral ischemia after Angong Niuhuang sticker point application显示文摘In this study, we extracted and purified components in the Angong Niuhuang pill. Then we applied transdermal enhancers to Angong Niuhuang stickers by modern technology. The Angong Niuhuang sticker includes extracts from curcuma, berberine hydrochloride, baicalin, geniposide, borneol, and musk. Angong Niuhuang stickers at different point application doses (1.35, 2.7, and 5.4 g/kg) were administered to Dazhui (DU14), Qihai (RN6) and Mingmen (DU4). Rats in the different dose point application and acupuncture groups were continuously administered for 7 days. Then a middle cerebral artery occlusion model was prepared for simulating human cerebral ischemia. Twelve hours later, expressions of Bcl-2, Bax and p53 protein in hippocampal CA1 were detected with immunohistochemistry. The expression level of Bcl-2, an anti-apoptotic protein, significantly increased in the high-, medium- and low-dose point application groups and the acupuncture group, while the expression of the pro-apoptotic proteins, Bax and p53, significantly decreased compared with the middle cerebral artery occlusion rats; and the Bcl-2/Bax ratio was significantly increased. The difference was noticeable for the high-dose point application group, which showed statistical difference compared with the low-dose point application group and the acupuncture group. Our experimental findings indicate that point application with Angong Niuhuang stickers promotes the expression of Bcl-2, and inhibits the expressions of Bax and p53 in the hippocampal CA1 area of rats after focal cerebral ischemia. | 14 | Whole-genome resequencing of Osmanthus fragrans provides insights into flower color evolution显示文摘Osmanthus fragrans is a well-known ornamental plant that has been domesticated in China for 2500 years.More than 160 cultivars have been found during this long period of domestication,and they have subsequently been divided into four cultivar groups,including the Yingui,Jingui,Dangui,and Sijigui groups.These groups provide a set of materials to study genetic evolution and variability.Here,we constructed a reference genome of O.fragrans‘Liuyejingui’in the Jingui group and investigated its floral color traits and domestication history by resequencing a total of 122 samples,including 119 O.fragrans accessions and three other Osmanthus species,at an average sequencing depth of 15×.The population structure analysis showed that these 119 accessions formed an apparent regional cluster.The results of linkage disequilibrium(LD)decay analysis suggested that varieties with orange/red flower color in the Dangui group had undergone more artificial directional selection;these varieties had the highest LD values among the four groups,followed by the Sijigui,Jingui,and Yingui groups.Through a genome-wide association study,we further identified significant quantitative trait loci and genomic regions containing several genes,such as ethylene-responsive transcription factor 2 and Arabidopsis pseudoresponse regulator 2,that are positively associated with petal color.Moreover,we found a frameshift mutation with a 34-bp deletion in the first coding region of the carotenoid cleavage dioxygenase 4 gene.This frameshift mutation existed in at least one site on both alleles in all varieties of the Dangui group.The results from this study shed light on the genetic basis of domestication in woody plants,such as O.fragrans. | Hongguo Chen Xiangling Zeng Jie Yang Xuan Cai Yumin Shi Riru Zheng Zhenqi Wang Junyi Liu Xinxin Yi Siwei Xiao Qiang Fu Jingjing Zou Caiyun Wang | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 5 |
| 15 | β-Cypermethrin promotes the adipogenesis of 3T3-L1 cells via inducing autophagy and shaping an adipogenesis-friendly microenvironment显示文摘The toxicity of synthetic pyrethroids has garnered attention, and studies have revealed that pyrethroids promote fat accumulation and lead to obesity in mice. Nevertheless, the effect of β-cypermethrin (β-CYP) on adipogenesis and its underlying mechanism remains largely unknown. In this study, mouse embryo fibroblasts 3T3-L1 cells were exposed to β-CYP, and the cell viability, intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) level, autophagy, and adipogenesis were assessed to investigate the roles of oxidative stress and autophagy in the toxic effects of β-CYP on adipogenesis. The results demonstrated that treatment with 100 μΜ β-CYP elevated the ROS level, decreased mitochondrion membrane potential, stimulated autophagy, and enhanced the adipogenesis induced by the mixture of insulin, dexamethasone, and 3-isobutyl-1-methylxanthine. However, co-treatment with N-acetyl-L-cysteine partially blocked the abovementioned effects of β-CYP in 3T3-L1 cells. In addition, co-treatment with rapamycin, an autophagy agonist, enhanced the inductive effect of β-CYP on adipogenesis, whereas co-treatment with 3-methyladenine blocked the enhancement of adipogenesis caused by β-CYP. Moreover, β-CYP also altered the microenvironment of 3T3-L1 cells to an adipogenesis-friendly one by reducing the extracellular expression of miR-34a, suggesting that the culture media of β-CYP-treated 3T3-L1 cells could shift macrophages to M2 type. Taken together, the data obtained in the present study demonstrated that β-CYP promoted adipogenesis via oxidative stress-mediated autophagy disturbance, and it caused macrophage M2 polarization via the alteration of miR-34a level in the microenvironment. | 16 | Influences of wide-narrow seeding on soil properties and winter wheat yields under conservation tillage in North China Plain显示文摘In order to promote the winter wheat yield and guarantee seeding quality in double-cropping system,no-tillage or reduced tillage planting modes with different row spacing have been implemented to result in different levels of yield.A three-year(2012-2015)field experiment was conducted on the experimental farm at Zhuozhou of Hebei Province in North China Plain to compare winter wheat yield from the two planting modes:wide-narrow row space planting mode(WN)and uniform row space planting mode(UR)Both planting modes were performed under reduced tillage conditions with straw mulching.The results showed that in North China Plain WN had positive impacts on crop yield,yield components,leaf area index(LAI)and intercepted photosynthetically active radiation(IPAR)index.Comparing with the UR,IPAR and LAI index for WN were enhanced by 4.8%and 5.2%,respectively.The average yield for WN was 7.2%,significantly greater than that of UR under the same quantity and density.In addition,for WN mode,machinery could pass through with less blocking under large amount of straw mulching,which largely improved tillage efficiency and potentially popularized the conservation tillage technology in North China plain.It is therefore recommended that wide-narrow row space planting mode(WN)combined with reduced tillage and straw mulching be more suitable for conservation tillage in double-cropping pattern areas in North China Plain. | Hongnan Hu Caiyun Lu Qingjie Wang Hongwen Li Jin He Dijuan Xu Xianliang Wang | 2018 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,4: | 4 |
| 17 | Pyrroloquinoline quinone regulates the redox status in vitro and in vivo of weaned pigs via the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway显示文摘Background:Oxidative stress is a main cause of piglet gut damage and diarrhea.Pyrroloquinoline quinone(PQQ),is a novel redox cofactor with antioxidant properties.However,the effect and mechanism that PQQ supplementation decreases oxidative injury in weaned pigs is not understood.Therefore,the aim of this study is to confirm the effect of PQQ on regulating redox status in weaned pigs and the mechanism for antioxidant function by porcine intestinal epithelial cell line(IPEC-J2)challenged with H_(2)O_(2).Results:Experiment 1,144 Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire pigs(weaned at 28 d)were allocated to four groups:received a basal diet(control)and diets supplemented with 0.15%,0.30%and 0.45%PQQ,respectively.On d 28,growth performance,diarrhea incidence and redox factors were measured.Experiment 2,IPEC-J2 were treated with or without PQQ in the presence or absence of H_(2)O_(2)for indicated time points.Experiment 3,IPEC-J2 were transfected with or without Nrf2 siRNA,then treated according to Experiment 2.The cell viability,redox factors,protein of tight junctions and Nrf2 pathway were determined.In vivo,PQQ supplementation demonstrated dose-related improvements in average daily gain,and gain to feed ratio(Linear P<0.05).During d 0–28,compared to controls,0.45%PQQ supplementation for pigs decreased diarrhea incidence and MDA content in liver and jejunum,and increased concentration of SOD in liver;0.3%PQQ supplementation decreased ileal and liver MDA concentration;and 0.15%PQQ supplementation decreased ileal MDA concentration(P<0.05).In vitro,compared to cells cultured with H_(2)O_(2),pre-treatment with PQQ increased cell viability,tight junction proteins expression including ZO-1,ZO-2,Occludin and Claudin-1;and decreased ROS concentration and level of Caspase-3(P<0.05);as well as upregulated the ratio of Bcl-2 to Bax and protein expression of nuclear Nrf2,HO-1.Notably,Nrf2 knockdown by transfection with Nrf2 siRNA largely abrogated the positive effects of PQQ pretreatment on H_(2)O_(2)-induced intracellular changes.Conclusions:PQQ administration attenuated oxidative stress in weaned pigs which is associated with activation of Nrf2/HO-1 pathway. | Caiyun Huang Zijuan Fan Dandan Han Lee J.Johnston Xi Ma Fenglai Wang | 2021 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,4: | 4 |
| 18 | Responses of biotic interactions of dominant and subordinate species to decadal warming and simulated rotational grazing in Tibetan alpine meadow显示文摘Warming increases competition among plant species in alpine communities by ameliorating harsh environmental conditions,such as low temperatures. Grazing, as the main human activity, may mitigate the effect of warming, as previously reported.However, it is critical to refine the effects of warming on biotic interactions among species, for example, by taking the competitive ability of species into consideration. Based on a 10-year warming and grazing experiment in a Tibetan alpine meadow, we evaluated interspecific biotic interactions of dominant and subordinate species, using the approach of interspecific spatial associations. Warming significantly increased competition between subordinate and dominant species as well as among subordinate species, but not among dominant species. Moreover, facilitation of dominant-subordinate species also increased under warming. Simulated rotational grazing had similar effects to warming, with increasing interspecific competition. Our results show that, when studying the effects of warming on biotic interactions among species, it is necessary to characterize different species pairs relative to their competitive ability, and that simulated rotational grazing does not mitigate the effects of warming in the long term. | 19 | Design and experiment of anti-vibrating and anti-wrapping rotary components for subsoiler cum rotary tiller显示文摘The commonly used subsoiling cum rotary tiller machine(SRT)in Northern China is a combination of subsoiler and horizontal rotary tiller,however backfilling of the subsoiling slot,excessive vibration and plant residue wrapping on rotary components has been rarely considered.Therefore,the rotary components and assembly were redesigned to address these issues and to an SRT fitted with IT225 short curve rotary blades behind the V-shape subsoiling slots and IIT245 long curve rotary blades between the tines.Long and short blades were fitted on a rotor in a double helix,with optimal spiral angles of 65° and 90°,and phase angle of 147°and 180°,respectively.Compared with the commonly used SRT(CSRT),the additional anti-wrapping cutting blades in the circumferential and axial direction of ASRT could remove hanging residue on the blade holders,wrapping on the rotor and formation of an isolation layer.Moreover,the cutting edge curve of anti-wrapping cutting blades was an exponential curve.Field tests demonstrated that the redesigned SRT with anti-vibrating and anti-wrapping rotary components(ASRT)had was a significant advancement over the CSRT.Moreover,the working depth of rotary tillage was more stable,while other observations confirmed that backfilling of the subsoiling slot was also improved. | Kan Zheng Allen D.McHugh Hongwen Li Qingjie Wang Caiyun Lu Hongnan Hu Wenzheng Liu Zhiqiang Zhang Peng Liu Jin He | 2019 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,4: | 4 |
| 20 | Bioaccumulation, subcellular distribution and chemical forms of yttrium in rice seedling显示文摘Yttrium(Y) accumulation in soil is a serious environment problem in China. To understand the mechanisms involved in Y tolerance and detoxification in rice seedling, the bioaccumulation, subcellular distribution, and chemical forms of Y was investigated in the present study. The results show that the content of Y both in roots and shoots increases with the increasing concentration of Y, and a large amount of Y is stored in roots. Subcellular distribution of Y in rice indicates that the majority of Y is bound to cell wall. Meanwhile, various chemical forms of Y is absorbed by rice. The greatest amount of Y is extracted by 2% hydrate acetic acid(HAc) and 0.6 mol/L HCl(particularly 2% HAc), which indicates that most of Y is combined with un-dissolved phosphate and oxalate(particularly phosphate). Cluster analysis, based on Y abundance levels, reveals the relationship between Y distribution patterns and chemical forms.
