| 1 | Preparation and properties of temperature sensitive paint based on Eu(DBM)_3 phen as probe molecule显示文摘Probe molecule Eu(DBM)3 phen is made up of europium oxide(Eu_2 O_3),dibenzoylmethane(DBM) and1,10-phenanthroline(phen). The temperature sensitive paint(TSP) was compounded by the polymerization of the probe molecule, methyl methacrylate(MMA) and the initiator of benzoyl peroxide(BPO).The structure, morphology, luminescence property of probe molecule and the temperature quenching property of the temperature sensitive paint(TSP) were characterized by infrared spectrometer, UV-vis spectrometer, scanning electron microscopy and fluorescence spectrometer respectively. The infrared spectrum and UV-vis spectra show that Eu and DBM form six membered rings, and Eu-O coordinate bonds form. The nanocrystals are in sphere-like morphology with an average size of approximately100 nm. Fluorescence spectra present that the performance of temperature quenching is excellent,what's more, TSP sample has different temperature sensitivity in various temperature scope. Particularly,under excitation of 286 nm, TSP has a highest temperature sensitivity between 50 and 60 ℃, and the strongest fluorescence emission reaches a peak(615 nm). | 8 | Bi-allelic mutations in DNAH7 cause asthenozoospermia by impairing the integrality of axoneme structure显示文摘Asthenozoospermia is the most common cause of male infertility.Dynein protein arms play a crucial role in the motility of both the cilia and flagella,and defects in these proteins generally impair the axoneme structure and cause primary ciliary dyskinesia.But relatively little is known about the influence of dynein protein arm defects on sperm flagella function.Here,we recruited 85 infertile patients with idiopathic asthenozoospermia and identified bi-allelic mutations in DNAH7(NM_018897.3)from three patients using whole-exome sequencing.These variants are rare,highly pathogenic,and very conserved.The spermatozoa from the patients with DNAH7 bi-allelic mutations showed specific losses in the inner dynein arms.The expression of DNAH7 in the spermatozoa from the DNAH7-defective patients was significantly decreased,but these patients were able to have their children via intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection treatment.Our study is the first to demonstrate that bi-allelic mutations in DNAH7 may impair the integrality of axoneme structure,affect sperm motility,and cause asthenozoospermia in humans.These findings may extend the spectrum of etiological genes and provide new clues for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with asthenozoospermia. | Xiaoli Wei Yanwei Sha Zijie Wei Xingshen Zhu Fengming He Xiaoya Zhang Wensheng Liu Yifeng Wang Zhongxian Lu | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021，53，10： | 2 |

| 10 | Shake table testing of a multi-tower connected hybrid structure显示文摘Many single-tower reinforced concrete core wall-steel frame (RCC-SF) buildings have been built in China, but there are no buildings of different-height multi-tower hybrid system. A multi-tower RCC-SF tall building was thus studied because of its structural complexity and irregularity. First, a 1/15 scaled model structure was designed and tested on the shake table under minor, moderate, and major earthquake levels. Then, the dynamic responses of the model structure were interpreted to those of the prototype structure according to the similitude theory. Experimental results demonstrate that, despite the complexity of the structure, the lateral deformation bends as the 'bending type' and the RC core walls contribute more than the steel frames to resist seismic loads. The maximum inter-story drift of the complex building under minor earthquakes is slightly beyond the elastic limitation specifi ed in the Chinese code, and meets code requirements under major earthquakes.
