1Metal organic frameworks derived single atom catalysts for electrocatalytic energy conversion显示文摘The development of efficient and cost-effective catalysts to catalyze a wide variety of electrochemical reactions is key to realize the large-scale applicati on of ren ewable and clean en ergy tech no logies.Owing to the maximum atom-utilization efficie ncy and unique electronic and geometric structures,single atom catalysts(SACs)have exhibited superior performance in various catalytic systems.Recently,assembled from the function alized orga nic lin kers and metal no des,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)with ultrafi ne porosity have received treme ndous attention as precursors or self-sacrificing templates for preparing porous SACs.Here,the recent advances toward the synthesis strategies for using MOF precursors/templates to con struct SACs are systematically summarized with special emphasis on the types of central metal sites.The electrochemical applications of these recently emerged MOF-derived SACs for various energy-conversion processes,such as oxygen reduction/evolution reaction(ORR/OER),hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),and CO2 reduction reaction(CO2RR),are also discussed and reviewed.Fin ally,the curre nt challe nges and prospects regardi ng the developme nt of MOF-derived SACs are proposed.Tingting Sun Lianbin Xu Dingsheng Wang Yadong Li 2019Nano Research2019,12,9:63
2AXL is a candidate receptor for SARS-CoV-2 that promotes infection of pulmonary and bronchial epithelial cells显示文摘The current coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic presents a global public health challenge.The viral pathogen responsible,severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),binds to the host receptor ACE2 through its spike(S)glycoprotein,which mediates membrane fusion and viral entry.Although the role of ACE2 as a receptor for SARS-CoV-2 is clear,studies have shown that ACE2 expression is extremely low in various human tissues,especially in the respiratory tract.Thus,other host receptors and/or co-receptors that promote the entry of SARS-CoV-2 into cells of the respiratory system may exist.In this study,we found that the tyrosine-protein kinase receptor UFO(AXL)specifically interacts with the N-terminal domain of SARS-CoV-2 S.Using both a SARS-CoV-2 virus pseudotype and authentic SARS-CoV-2,we found that overexpression of AXL in HEK293T cells promotes SARS-CoV-2 entry as efficiently as overexpression of ACE2,while knocking out AXL significantly reduces SARS-CoV-2 infection in HI 299 pulmonary cells and in human primary lung epithelial cells.Soluble human recombinant AXL blocks SARS-CoV-2 infection in cells expressing high levels of AXL.The AXL expression level is well correlated with SARS-CoV-2 S level in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid cells from COVID-19 patients.Taken together,our findings suggest that AXL is a novel candidate receptor for SARS-CoV-2 which may play an important role in promoting viral infection of the human respiratory system and indicate that it is a potential target for future clinical intervention strategies.Shuai Wang Zongyang Qiu Yingnan Hou Xiya Deng Wei Xu Tingting Zheng Peihan Wu Shaofang Xie Weixiang Bian Chong Zhang Zewei Sun Kunpeng Liu Chao Shan Aifu Lin Shibo Jiang Youhua Xie Qiang Zhou Lu Lu Jing Huang Xu Li 2021Cell Research2021,31,2:39

7Semi-tensor product approach to networked evolutionary games显示文摘In this paper a comprehensive introduction for modeling and control of networked evolutionary games(NEGs) via semi-tensor product(STP) approach is presented. First, we review the mathematical model of an NEG, which consists of three ingredients:network graph, fundamental network game, and strategy updating rule. Three kinds of network graphs are considered, which are i) undirected graph for symmetric games; ii) directed graph for asymmetric games, and iii) d-directed graph for symmetric games with partial neighborhood information. Three kinds of fundamental evolutionary games(FEGs) are discussed, which are i) two strategies and symmetric(S-2); ii) two strategies and asymmetric(A-2); and iii) three strategies and symmetric(S-3).Three strategy updating rules(SUR) are introduced, which are i) Unconditional Imitation(UI); ii) Fermi Rule(FR); iii) Myopic Best Response Adjustment Rule(MBRA). First, we review the fundamental evolutionary equation(FEE) and use it to construct network profile dynamics(NPD)of NEGs.To show how the dynamics of an NEG can be modeled as a discrete time dynamics within an algebraic state space, the fundamental evolutionary equation(FEE) of each player is discussed. Using FEEs, the network strategy profile dynamics(NSPD) is built by providing efficient algorithms. Finally, we consider three more complicated NEGs: i) NEG with different length historical information, ii) NEG with multi-species, and iii) NEG with time-varying payoffs. In all the cases, formulas are provided to construct the corresponding NSPDs. Using these NSPDs, certain properties are explored. 8Mouse macrophage specific knockout of SIRT1 influences macrophage polarization and promotes angiotensin Ⅱ-induced abdominal aortic aneurysm formation显示文摘Abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA) is a vascular degenerative disease. Macrophage polarization and the balance between classically activated macrophages(M1) and alternatively activated macrophages(M2)are crucial for AAA pathogenesis. The present study aims to investigate the roles of macrophage SIRT1 in AAA formation and macrophage polarization. We found that in mouse peritoneal macrophages, SIRT1 expression was decreased after M1 stimulation, but was enhanced after M2 stimulation. Results from SIRT1^(flox/flox) mice and macrophage specific SIRT1 knockout mice with treatment of angiotensin II(Ang II)for 4 weeks showed that macrophage specific deficiency of SIRT1 increased the incidence of AAA and exacerbated the severity, including more severe aneurysm types, enlarged diameter of the aneurysm and increased degradation of elastin. In mouse aortas, SIRT1 deficiency increased the proinflammatory M1 molecule inducible nitric oxide synthase(i NOS), and decreased M2 molecules such as arginase 1(Arg1) and mannose receptor(MR). Furthermore, in peritoneal macrophages, SIRT1 deficiency increased the expression of M1 inflammatory molecules, but decreased the expression of M2 molecules. Overexpression of SIRT1 had the opposite effects. 10Anlotinib has good efficacy and low toxicity: a phase Ⅱ study of anlotinib in pre-treated HER-2 negative metastatic breast cancer显示文摘Objective:Anlotinib is a novel tyrosine kinase inhibitor blocking angiogenesis.This study was performed to assess the efficacy and safety of anlotinib in patients with metastatic breast cancer.Methods:Patients with HER2-negative breast cancer,who were pre-treated with anthracycline or taxanes in a neoadjuvant,adjuvant,or metastatic setting,and had treatment failure after at least one prior chemotherapy regimen in the metastatic setting were enrolled.Anlotinib was administered at 12 mg daily for 14 days in a 21-day cycle until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity occurred.Simultaneously,5–10 m L of venous blood was collected to perform circulating tumor DNA(ct DNA)testing every 2 treatment cycles.The primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR).Secondary endpoints included the disease control rate(DCR),progression-free survival(PFS),overall survival,safety,and biomarkers.Results:Twenty-six eligible patients were enrolled,with a median age of 56(30–75)years.The median follow-up time was 10.5 months.The ORR was 15.4%,the DCR was 80.8%,and the median PFS was 5.22 months(95%confidence interval 2.86–6.24).Fourteen(53.8%)patients survived for more than 10 months.The changes in the detectable ct DNA variant allele frequency were consistent with the tumor response.The most common treatment-related adverse events were hypertension(57.7%),thyroidstimulating hormone elevation(34.6%),and hand-foot syndrome(23.1%).Conclusion:Anlotinib showed objective efficacy with tolerable toxicity in heavily pre-treated,metastatic HER2-negative breast cancer.The dynamic changes in the ct DNA variant allele fraction may be predictive of the tumor response.Nanlin Hu Yiran Si Jian Yue Tingting Sun Xue Wang Zhuqing Jia Songlin Gao Qiao Li Yang Shao Jiayu Wang Yang Luo Fei Ma Binghe Xu Peng Yuan 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,3:11
11An assessment of the effectiveness and impact of electrokinetic remediation for pyrene-contaminated soil显示文摘The effectiveness of electrokinetic remediation for pyrene-contaminated soil was investigated by an anode–cathode separated system using a salt bridge. The applied constant voltage was24 V and the electrode gap was 24 cm. Two types of soil(sandy soil and loam soil) were selected because of their different conductive capabilities. The initial concentrations of pyrene in these soil samples were 261.3 mg/kg sandy soil and 259.8 mg/kg loam soil. After treatment of the sandy soil and loam soil for seven days, 56.8% and 20.1% of the pyrene had been removed respectively. Under the same power supply voltage, the removal of the pollutant from the sandy soil was greater than that from the loam soil, due to the higher current and lower p H. 12Solution structure of the RNA recognition domain of METTL3-METTL14 N^6-methyladenosine methyltransferase显示文摘N^6-methyladenosine(m6A),a ubiquitous RNA modification,is installed by METTL3-METTL14 complex.The structure of the heterodimeric complex between the methyltransferase domains(MTDs)of METTL3 and METTL14 has been previously determined.However,the MTDs alone possess no enzymatic activity.Here we present the solution structure for the zinc finger domain(ZFD)of METTL3,the inclusion of which fulfills the methyltransferase activity of METTL3-METTL14.We show that the ZFD specifically binds to an RNA containing 5'-GGACU-3'consensus sequence,but does not to one without.The ZFD thus serves as the target recognition domain,a structural feature previously shown for DNA methyltransferases,and cooperates with the MTDs of METTL3-METTL14 for catalysis.However,the interaction between the ZFD and the specific RNA is extremely weak,with the binding affinity at several hundred micromolar under physiological conditions.The ZFD contains two CCCH-type zinc fingers connected by an anti-parallel P-sheet.Mutational analysis and NMR titrations have mapped the functional interface to a contiguous surface.As a division of labor,the RNA-binding interface comprises basic residues from zinc finger 1 and hydrophobic residues fromβ-sheet and zinc finger 2.Further we show that the linker between the ZFD and MTD of METTL3 is flexible but partially folded,which may permit the cooperation between the two domains during catalysis.Together,the structural characterization of METTL3 ZFD paves the way to elucidate the atomic details of the entire process of RNA m6A modification.Jinbo Huang Xu Dong Zhou Gong Ling-Yun Qin Shuai Yang Yue-Ling Zhu Xiang Wang Delin Zhang Tingting Zou Ping Yin Chun Tang 2019Protein & Cell2019,10,4:11
13In-situ fabrication of PtSe2/GaN heterojunction for self-powered deep ultraviolet photodetector with ultrahigh current on/off ratio and detectivity显示文摘The research of ultraviolet photodetectors(UV PDs)have been attracting extensive attention,due to their important applications in many areas.In this study,PtSe2/GaN heterojunction is in-situ fabricated by synthesis of large-area vertically standing two-dimensional(2D)PtSe2 film on n-GaN substrate.The PtSe2/GaN heterojunction device demonstrates excellent photoresponse properties under illumination by deep UV light of 265 nm at zero bias voltage.Further analysis reveals that a high responsivity of 193 mA·W^-1,an ultrahigh specific detectivity of 3.8 × 10^14 Jones,linear dynamic range of 155d B and current on/off ratio of^10^8,as well as fast response speeds of 45/102μs were obtained at zero bias voltage.Moreover,this device response quickly to the pulse laser of 266 nm with a rise time of 172 ns.Such high-performanee PtSe2/GaN heteroj u nction UV PD demonstrated in this work is far superior to previously reported results,suggesting that it has great potential for deep UV detection.Ranran Zhuo Longhui Zeng Huiyu Yuan Di Wu Yuange Wang Zhifeng Shi Tingting Xu Yongtao Tian Xinjian Li Yuen Hong Tsang 2019Nano Research2019,12,1:11
14CFD simulation of internal-loop airlift reactor using EMMS drag model显示文摘The simulation of internal-loop airlift reactors is challenging because complex meso-scale structures exist in different sections of the reactor,separated by the draft tube.This paper reports on the computational fluid dynamics(CFD) simulation of internal-loop airlift reactors using a new drag model derived from the dual-bubble-size(DBS) model,an extended energy-minimization multi-scale(EMMS) approach for gas-liquid flows.Compared with the traditional Schiller-Naumann(S-N) correlation,the new model improves the simulation of gas holdup in the riser and downcomer significantly.In particular,gas holdup and circulation of two-phase flow can be modeled successfully using the new model,whereas traditional drag models such as the S-N correlation show an absence of gas in the downcomer.The simulation demonstrates the advantage and potential of this new model for internal-loop airlift reactors.Tingting Xu Xuedong Jiang Ning Yang Jiahua Zhu 2015Particuology2015,13,2:10
15The Epitope Study on the SARS-CoV Nucleocapsid Protein显示文摘The nucleocapsid protein (N protein) has been found to be an antigenic protein in a number of coronaviruses. Whether the N protein in severe acute respiratory syndrome-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV) is antigenic remains to be elucidated. Using Western blot and Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA),the recombinant N proteins and the synthesized peptides derived from the N protein were screened in sera from SARS patients. All patient sera in this study displayed strong positive immunoreactivities against the recombinant N proteins,whereas normal sera gave negative immunoresponses to these proteins, indicating that the N protein of SARS-CoV is an antigenic protein. Furthermore, the epitope sites in the N protein were determined by competition experiments, in which the recombinant proteins or the synthesized peptides competed against the SARS-CoV proteins to bind to the antibodies raised in SARS sera. One epitope site located at the C-terminus was confirmed as the most antigenic region in this protein. A detailed screening of peptide with ELISA demonstrated that the amino sequence from Codons 371 to 407 was the epitope site at the C-terminus of the N protein. 16A Localization Algorithm Using a Mobile Anchor Node Based on Region Determination in Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks显示文摘At present, most underwater positioning algorithms improve the positioning accuracy by increasing the number of anchor nodes which resulting in the increasing energy consumption. To solve this problem, the paper proposes a localization algorithm assisted by mobile anchor node and based on region determination(LMRD), which not only improves the positioning accuracy of nodes positioning but also reduces the energy consumption. This algorithm is divided into two stages: region determination stage and location positioning stage. In the region determination stage, the target region is divided into several sub-regions by the region division strategy with the smallest overlap rate which can reduce the number of virtual anchor nodes and lock the target node to a sub-region, and then through the planning of mobile nodes to optimize the travel path, reduce the moving distance, and reduce system energy consumption. In the location positioning stage, the target node location can be calculated using the HILBERT path planning and trilateration. 17Monovalent cation perm-selective membranes(MCPMs)'New developments and perspectives显示文摘As one of the most typical and promising membrane processes, electrodialysis(ED) technique plays a more and more significant role in industrial separation. Especially, the separation of monovalent cations and multivalent cations is currently a hot topic, which is not only desirable for many industries but also challenging for academic explorations. The main aim of the present contribution is to view the advances of a wide variety of monovalent cation perm-selective membranes(MCPMs) and their preparation technologies including(1) covalent crosslinking,(2) surface modification,(3) polymer blending,(4) electrospinning,(5) nanofiltration alike membrane,and(6) organic–inorganic hybrid. The relevant advantages and disadvantages with respect to some specific cases have been discussed and compared in detail. 18The geochemical characteristics,geochronology and tectonic significance of the Carboniferous volcanic rocks of the Santanghu area in northeastern Xinjiang,China显示文摘The Santanghu area is located on the northeastern margin of the Junggar Basin,northern Xinjiang,Northwest China.The Carboniferous volcanic rocks in this area are widely distributed in Kaokesaiergaishan,Santanghu,Daheishan and Naomaohu districts,which are located to the north of the Kalameili Fault.These rocks,sourced from a cognate magma,consist of basic,intermediate,and acidic lavas,and pyroclastic rock.The basic volcanic rocks are enriched with large-ion lithophile elements(LILE),but are relatively depleted in high field strength elements(HFSE),and have an obvious negative Nb-Ta-Ti anomaly.They were most probably derived from a depleted mantle source,and during their ascent,these magmas were not contaminated by the crustal material as they underwent magma crystallization differentiation.Based on the Carboniferous volcanic assemblage and geochemical data,it is apparent that the early Carboniferous volcanism occurred in a subduction-related tectonic setting.New LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb analyses constrain the age of the andesite within the volcanic rocks as the early Carboniferous(328.9-331.3 Ma).Combined with the regional geological record,comprehensive analysis of the isotope geochronological data indicates that the subduction of the Junggar Ocean predates the early Carboniferous,and that the Santanghu island arc magmatism was induced by the subduction of the Junggar Ocean in the Carboniferous.LI Wei LIU YiQun DONG YunPeng ZHOU XiaoHu LIU XiaoMing LI Hong FAN TingTing ZHOU DingWu XU XueYi CHEN JunLu 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,8:8
19Agronomic performance of drought-resistance rice cultivars grown under alternate wetting and drying irrigation management in southeast China显示文摘Compared to drought-susceptible rice cultivars(DSRs),drought-resistance rice cultivars(DRRs)could drastically reduce the amount of irrigation water input and simultaneously result in higher grain yield under water-saving irrigation conditions.However,the mechanisms underlying these properties are unclear.We investigated how improved agronomic traits contribute to higher yield and higher water use efficiency(WUE)in DRRs than in DSRs under alternate wetting and drying(AWD).Two DRRs and two DSRs were field-grown in 2015 and 2016 using two different irrigation regimes:continuous flooding(CF)and AWD.Under CF,no statistical differences in grain yield and WUE were observed between DRRs and DSRs.Irrigation water under the AWD regime was 275–349 mm,an amount 49.8%–56.2% of that(552–620 mm)applied under the CF regime.Compared to CF,AWD significantly decreased grain yield in both DRRs and DSRs,with a more significant reduction in DSRs,and WUE was increased in DRRs,but not in DSRs,by 9.9%–23.0% under AWD.Under AWD,DRRs showed a 20.2%–26.2% increase in grain yield and an 18.6%–24.5% increase in WUE compared to DSRs.Compared to DSRs,DRRs showed less redundant vegetative growth,greater sink capacity,higher grain filling efficiency,larger root biomass,and deeper root distribution under AWD.We conclude that these improved agronomic traits exert positive influences on WUE in DRRs under AWD.Guang Chu Tingting Chen Song Chen Chunmei Xu Danying Wang Xiufu Zhang 2018The Crop Journal2018,6,5:8
20Transcriptome analysis of blood stasis syndrome in subjects with hypertension显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To screen for m RNAs associated with blood stasis syndrome and to explore the genetic mechanisms of blood stasis syndrome in hypertension.METHODS:This study involved groups of patients with hypertension and blood stasis,including those with Qi deficiency,Qi stagnation,cold retention and heat retention;as well as hypertensive patients without blood stasis and healthy individuals.Human umbilical vein endothelial cells were co-cultured with the sera of these healthy individuals and patients with blood stasis syndrome.Total RNA was extracted from these cells and assessed by a high-throughput sequencing method(Solexa)and digital gene expression.Differentially expressed genes among these six groups were compared using whole genome sequences,and m RNAs associated with blood stasis syndrome identified.Differences in gene use and gene ontology function were an-alyzed.Genes enriched significantly and their pathways were determined,as were network interactions,and encoded proteins.Gene identities were confirmed by real-time polymerase chain reactions.RESULTS:Compared with cells cultured in sera of the blood stasis groups,those culture in sera of healthy individuals and of the non-blood stasis group showed 11 and 301 differences,respectively in stasis-related genes.Genes identified as differing between the blood stasis and healthy groups included activating transcription factor 4,activating transcription factor 3,DNA-damage inducible transcription factor 3,Tribbles homolog 3,CCAAT/enhancer binding protein-β,and Jun proto-oncogene(JUN).Pathway and protein interaction network analyses showed that these genes were associated with endoplasmic reticulum stress.Cells cultured in sera of patients with blood stasis and Qi deficiency,Qi stagnation,heat retention,and cold retention were compared with cells cultured in sera of patients with the other types blood stasis syndrome.The comparison showed differences in expression of 28,28,34,and 32 specific genes,respectively.CONCLUSION:The pathogenesis of blood stasis syndrome in hypertension is related to endoplasmic reticulum stress and involves the differential expression of the activating transcription factor 4,activating transcription factor 3,DNA-damage inducible transcription factor 3,Tribbles homolog 3,CCAAT/enhancer binding protein-β,and JUN genes.He Ling Fang Meixia Chen Liguo Zhou Jianhua Yuan Jing Xu Jing Shan Yan Xu Qingyun Xiong Tingting 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,2:7
