1Effect of antisense oligonucleotides targeting telomerase catalytic subunit on tumor cell proliferation in vitro显示文摘To screen specific antitumor drugs targeting telomerase catalytic subunit (hEST2), 12 different hEST2 antisense oligonucleotides were designed based on hEST2 mRNA second structure and transfected into tumor cell lines by the lipofectin-mediated method. Cell growth activity was evaluated by MTT assay. HEST212 was picked out and its specificity, antitumor tree and continuous effect were analyzed. 2Improvement of Dark Object Method in Atmospheric Correction of hyperspectral remotely sensed data显示文摘The existing methods in atmospheric correction of hyperspectral data usually focus on removing the effects of water vapor and other absorptive gases, while this paper mainly studies the method of re- moving the influence of the aerosol and the water vapor simultaneously. Because the hyperspectral data has a larger number of bands, the conventional dark object method cannot be applied to the at- mospheric correction of the hyperspectral data which can be improved, as described in this paper, by adequately making use of spectral characteristics of the hyperspectral data with an iterative correction during the whole process. The effects of the aerosol and water vapor are eliminated at the same time finally. The improved dark object method is used to do the atomospheric correction of the Hyperion data in Yanzhou, Shandong Province as an example. 4Preliminary evaluation of the long-term GLASS albedo product显示文摘Land surface albedo is an important parameter to describe the radiant forcing in the climate system.A long-time series of global albedo products is needed to understand the mechanism of climate change.Aiming to support global change and Earth system studies,GLASS(Global LAnd Surface Satellites)provides long-term global land surface albedo product from 1981 to 2010,which are generated from multisource remote sensing data and newly developed algorithms.It is critical to assess the quality of the GLASS product when it is released to the public.This paper first introduced the algorithms and then analyzed the integrity,accuracy,and robustness of the GLASS albedo product.The results show that the GLASS albedo product is a gapless,long-term continuous,and self-consistent data-set with an accuracy similar to that of the widely acknowledged MODIS MCD43 product.The quality flag,which is provided along with the black-sky and white-sky albedo,gives a pertinent indication of the expected uncertainty in the product.Qiang Liua Lizhao Wang Ying Qu Nanfeng Liu Suhong Liu Hairong Tang Shunlin Liang 2013International Journal of Digital Earth2013,6,S01:7
5Natural variations in grain length 10(GL10)regulate rice grain size显示文摘Grain size is an important determinant of grain weight and yield in rice.Although several genes related to grain size have been identified,natural variations in these genes that affect grain size are poorly characterized.Here,we describe the grain length QTL GL10,encoding MADS56,which positively regulates grain length and grain weight.A natural allelic variation of NIL-gl10,containing an~1.0-kb deletion in the first exon that abolishes its transcription,results in shorter grain length,lower grain weight and delayed flowering in gl10 plants.The knockout of GL10 in the HJX74 background leads to grain phenotypes similar to that of NIL-gl10,while overexpression of GL10 results in increased grain length and weight and earlier heading date.GL10 regulates grain length by promoting greater longitudinal cell growth in the grain glume.Additionally,GL10 participates in the regulation of gibberellic acid(GA)signaling pathway genes in young panicle tissues.Analysis of GL10 haplotypes shows obvious divergence between the japonica and indica lineages.Our findings reveal an allelic variation of GL10 that may explain differences in grain length among modern cultivars and could be used to breed rice varieties with optimized grain shape.Penglin Zhan Shuaipeng Ma Zhili Xiao Fangping Li Xin Wei Shaojun Lin Xiaoling Wang Zhe Ji Yu Fu Jiahao Pan Mi Zhou Yue Liu Zengyuan Chang Lu Li Suhong Bu Zupei Liu Haitao Zhu Guifu Liu Guiquan Zhang Shaokui Wang 2022Journal of Genetics and Genomics2022,49,5:3
6Effect of Initial Vortex Intensity Correction on Tropical Cyclone Intensity Prediction:A Study Based on GRAPES_TYM显示文摘Predicting the intensity of tropical cyclones(TCs)is challenging in operational weather prediction systems,partly due to the difficulty in defining the initial vortex.In an attempt to solve this problem,this study investigated the effect of initial vortex intensity correction on the prediction of the intensity of TCs by the operational numerical prediction system GRAPES_TYM(Global and Regional Assimilation and Prediction System_Typhoon Model)of the National Meteorological Center of the China Meteorological Administration.The statistical results based on experiments using data for major TCs in 2018 show that initial vortex intensity correction can reduce the errors in mean intensity for up to 120-h integration,with a noticeable decrease in the negative bias of intensity and a slight increase in the mean track error.The correction leads to an increase in the correlation coefficient of Vmax(maximum wind speed at 10-m height)for the severe typhoon and super typhoon stages.Analyses of the errors in intensity at different stages of intensity(including tropical storms,severe tropical storms,typhoons,severe typhoons,and super typhoons)show that vortex intensity correction has a remarkable positive influence on the prediction of super typhoons from 0 to 120h.Analyses of the errors in intensity for TCs with different initial intensities indicate that initial vortex correction can significantly improve the prediction of intensity from 24 to 96 h for weak TCs(including tropical storms and severe tropical storms at the initial time)and up to 24 h for strong TCs(including severe typhoons and super typhoons at the initial time).The effect of the initial vortex intensity correction is more important for developing TCs than for weakening TCs.Liwen WANG Suhong MA 2020Journal of Meteorological Research2020,34,2:2

9Development and transdifferentiation into inner hair cells require Tbx2显示文摘Atohl is essential for the development of both outer hair cells(OHCs)and inner hair cells(IHCs)in the mammalian co chlea.Whereas Ikzf2 is necessary for OHC development,the key gene re quired for IHC development remains unknown.We found that deletion of Tbx2 in neonatal IHCs led to their transdifferentiation into OHCs by repressing 26.7%of IHC genes and inducing 56.3%of OHC genes,including Ikzf2.More importantly,persistent expression of Tbx2 coupled with transient Atohl expression effe ctively reprogrammed non-sensory supporting cells into new IHCs expressing the functional IHC marker vGlut3.The differentiation status of these new IHCs was considerably more advanced than that previously reported.Thus,Tbx2 is essential for IHC development and co-upregulation of Tbx2 with Atohl in supporting cells represents a new approach for treating deafness related to IHC degeneration.Zhenghong Bi Xiang Li Minhui Ren Yunpeng Gu Tong Zhu Shuting Li Guangqin Wang Suhong Sun Yuwei Sun Zhiyong Liu 2022National Science Review2022,9,12:1

11GL9 from Oryza glumaepatula controls grain size and chalkiness in rice显示文摘Grain size is a key factor influencing grain yield and appearance quality in rice.We identified twelve quantitative trait loci(QTL)for grain length(GL),nine for grain width(GW),and nine for 1000-kernel weight(TKW)using GLU-SSSLs,which are single-segment substitution lines with Oryza glumaepatula as donor parent and Huajingxian 74(HJX74)as recipient parent.Among the QTL,qGL1-2,qGL1-4,qGL9-2,qGW2-2,qGW9-1 and qTKW9-2 contributed to high grain yield.GL9 was identified as a candidate gene for qGL9-2 by map-based cloning and sequencing,and is a novel allele of GS9.The kernel of NIL-gl9was slenderer and longer than that of HJX74,and the TKW and grain yield per plant of NIL-gl9 were higher than those of HJX74.The proportion of grain chalkiness of NIL-gl9 was much lower than that of HJX74.Thus,gl9 increased grain yield and appearance quality simultaneously.Three pyramid lines,NIL-gs3/gl9,NIL-GW7/gl9 and NIL-gw8/gl9,were developed and the kernel of each was longer than that of the corresponding recipient parent lines.The gl9 allele may be beneficial for breeding rice varieties with high grain yield and good appearance quality.Shaojun Lin Zupei Liu Kui Zhang Weifeng Yang Penglin Zhan Quanya Tan Yajun Gou Shuaipeng Ma Xin Luan Chubing Huang Zhili Xiao Yuanyuan Liu Bihuang Zhu Ruiqing Liang Wenqi Zhou Haitao Zhu Suhong Bu Guifu Liu Guiquan Zhang Shaokui Wang 2023The Crop Journal2023,11,1:1

13Inhibitory effect of coriander(Coriandrum sativum L.)extract marinades on the formation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in roasted duck wings显示文摘Coriander(Coriandrum sativum L.)is recognized for its antioxidant property,as a kind of natural phenolic-rich ingredient.Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)present a class of heat-driven hazards in foods,especially the processed meat.In this study,the effect of coriander root and leaf extract on the formation and inhibition of PAH8 in roasted duck wings was firstly investigated.Coriander root extract(CRE)and coriander leaf extract(CLE)with five concentration groups(200,400,600,800,1000 mg/L)were prepared respectively to marinate the duck wings.CRE marinade exhibited greater inhibitory effect on PAH8 formation in roasted duck wings that ranged from 65.0%-87.4%.The electron spin resonance study indicated a significantly positive correlation between PAH8 and free radical level,suggesting the participation of radicals in PAHs formation.Also,it was speculated that the inhibitory effect on PAH8 was related to the phenolic compounds identified in coriander marinades.CRE made greater inhibitory effect on the formation of PAH8 and could be considered as a kind of natural source to mitigate PAHs in heat-processed meat products.Yajie Yu Yiqun Cheng Chong Wang Suhong Huang Yang Lei Ming Huang Xibin Zhang 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,4:1

19The Level of Expression and Diagnostic Value of Biomarkers in Tuberculous Pleurisy显示文摘Objective:Observe and analyze the clinical significance of the differences in the expression levels of sCD163,haptoglobin and cytokines.Methods:120 patients with tuberculous pleural effusion diagnosed in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2021 were randomly selected as the experimental group.On the other hand,40 patients with non-tuberculous pleural effusion admitted in the same period were selected as the control group.The expression levels of sCD163,haptoglobin and cytokines were observed and analyzed.Results:The expression levels of sCD163(μg/mL),haptoglobin(g/L),IL-6(pg/mL)and IL-12(pg/mL)of the control group were 31.26±14.12,32.14±18.79,401.23±24.36 and 1.32±0.14,respectively.As for the experimental group,the expression levels of sCD163(μg/mL),haptoglobin(g/L),IL-6(pg/mL)and IL-12(pg/mL)were 74.12±14.78,113.25±19.45,612.12±36.98 and 4.12±0.56 respectively,and p<0.05 which shows that the data was statistically significant.Conclusion:The level of inflammatory cytokines in the pleural fluid of tuberculous pleural effusion patients are higher,which can be used for the diagnosis of auxiliary tuberculous pleurisy.Tuberculous pleural effusion patients has a significantly increased expression levels of sCD163 and haptoglobin in the pleural fluid.The combination of sCD163 and haptoglobin in the diagnosis of tuberculous pleural effusion has higher clinical diagnostic value,and sCD163 and haptoglobin are not interfered by inflammatory factors in the diagnosis of tuberculous pleural effusion。Lin Wang Ying Qi Suhong Qi 2022Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2022,6,5:0
