| 1 | Effects of thermal activation conditions on the microstructure regulation of corncob-derived activated carbon for hydrogen storage显示文摘Activated carbons derived from corncob(CACs) were prepared by pyrolysis carbonization and KOH activation. Through modifying activation conditions, samples with large pore volume and ultrahigh BET specific surface area could be obtained. The sample achieved the highest hydrogen uptake capacity of 5.80 wt% at 40 bar and-196?C. The as-obtained samples were characterized by N2-sorption, transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Besides, thermogravimetric analysis was also employed to investigate the activation behavior of CACs. Detailed investigation on the activation parameters reveals that moderate activation temperature and heating rate are favorable for preparing CACs with high surface area, large pore volume and optimal pore size distribution. Meanwhile, the micropore volume between 0.65 nm and 0.85 nm along with BET surface area and total pore volume has great effects on hydrogen uptake capacities. | 2 | Terrestrial input and nutrient change reflected by sediment records of the Changjiang River Estuary in recent 80 years显示文摘A variety of environmental problems have been observed in the Changjiang River Estuary and adjacent coastal area, including eutrophication, harmful algal blooms(HABs), and hypoxia in recent decades. Application of sedimentary biogenic element indicators on the study of paleoenvironment can reconstruct environmental evolution history of waters. Two 210Pb-dated cores were collected from the Changjiang River Estuary(S3) and adjacent coastal area(Z13), and total organic carbon(TOC), total nitrogen(TN), biogenic silicon(BSi), total phosphorus(TP) and phosphorus(P) species were analyzed. Three stages of environmental changes are deduced by the nutrient sedimentary records. First, nutrient concentration increased rapidly since the 1950 s, which attributed to agriculture development and overused chemical fertilizers. Second, nutrient concentration kept high and primary production began to promote during the 1960 s to 1980 s, while diatom abundance and proportion began to decline since the 1970 s, accompanied by reduced 23 Si O- concentration and flux from the river. Third, due to several dams and bridges constructed, river runoff and coastal hydrodynamic conditions reduced to a certain extent since the 1990 s, which aggravated the unbalance in nutrient structure. | 3 | Mechanical defect identification for gas‐insulated switchgear equipment based on time‐frequency vibration signal analysis显示文摘Mechanical defect is an important reason for the failure of gas‐insulated switchgear(GIS)equipment.Based on the time‐frequency characteristic vibration signal analysis on five kinds of mechanical defects,a novel intelligent algorithm model combining complementary ensemble empirical mode decomposition(CEEMD)and genetic al-gorithm improved kernel fuzzy mean clustering(GAKFCM)was proposed to identify the mechanical defect type.First,the mechanical defect platform and detection sys-tem were built.Then CEEMD and IMF sensitivity factors were used to analyse the time‐frequency signal of five kinds of vibration defects,and the feature extraction was performed on the processed vibration signals.Finally,the mechanical vibration defect recognition model was established based on the GAKFCM algorithm and its validity was verified.Results show that the developed detection system can detect mechanical vibration signals sensitively.Singular values,frequency band lines and entropy can reflect the energy attenuation and distribution differences for different type of me-chanical defect vibration signals.The proposed GAKFCM clustering model combining the above vibration feature parameters can effectively find and diagnose the mechanical defect of GIS equipment.Its recognition accuracy reaches 96.74%,especially for the loose contact seat bolts and poor contact failures of the disconnector. | Yao Zhong Jian Hao Ruijin Liao Xupeng Wang Xiping Jiang Feng Wang | 2021 | High Voltage2021,6,3: | 3 |
| 4 | Surface hydrophobic modification enhanced catalytic performance of electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction显示文摘Electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)is a sustainable approach for NH_(3)production with low energy consumption.However,competing hydrogen reduction reaction(HER)in aqueous solution results in low NH_(3)production and Faraday efficiency(FE).Here,MoS_(2)nanostructures with a hydrophobic surface are synthesized by alkyl thiols modification.Aerophilic and hydrophobic surface facilitates an efficient three-phase contact of N_(2),H_(2)O,and catalyst.Thus,localized concentrated N_(2)molecules can overcome the mass transfer limitation of N2 and depress the HER due to lowering the proton contacts.Although the active-sites decrease with the increase of the alkyl chain since the thiol may cover the active site,the optimized electrocatalyst achieves NH_(3)yield of 12.86×10^(-11)mol·cm^(-2)·s^(-1)at-0.25 V and 22.23%FE,which are 4.3 and 24 times higher than those of MoS2-CP electrocatalyst,respectively.The increased catalytic performance is attributed to the high N_(2)adsorption and depressed HER. | Lijuan Niu Ziwen Liu Guohua Liu Mengxuan Li Xupeng Zong Dandan Wang Li An Dan Qu Xiaoming Sun Xiayan Wang Zaicheng Sun | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,5: | 2 |

| 11 | Design and Optimization of Multiple Interconnected Utility Systems in An Integrated Refining and Petrochemical Complex显示文摘In an integrated refining and petrochemical complex,a centralized utility system(CUS)is introduced to integrate the steam demands of production plants.Besides,two sub-utility systems(SUSs)located inside the alkene and refinery plants,respectively,can satisfy the shaft demands.It is difficult to determine the steam production of the CUS because the steam demands of the alkene and refinery plants also depend on the design and operation of the SUSs.To explore the complicated interaction between the CUS and SUSs,we proposed a mixed-integer nonlinear programming(MINLP)model for the design and optimization of multiple interconnected utility systems to minimize the total annualized cost(TAC).An extended superstructure was suggested to contain multiple inter-plant connected steam pipe alternatives between the CUS and SUSs.A more accurate model of the complex steam turbine was proposed.Then the proposed MINLP framework is applied to a new integrated refining and petrochemical complex.Two scenarios are investigated in the case study to explore the effect of steam main temperatures on system configurations and operating parameters.By optimizing the main temperatures,a TAC of$2.7 million can be saved.Judging from the results of the two scenarios,the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed framework for the design and optimization of multiple interconnected utility systems have been demonstrated. | Bai Haobo Li Shiyu Wang Xupeng Liu Chang | 2020 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2020,22,4: | 1 |
| 12 | Research on the discrimination methods of algae based on the fluorescence excitation spectra显示文摘The excitation spectra of chlorophyll (Chl) fluorescence can be used to differentiate phytoplankton populations at phylum level in vivo and in situ within a few minutes.The investigated phytoplankton divisions (Dinophyta,Bacillariophyta,Chrysophyta,Cyanophyta,Cryptophyta,Chlorophyta) are each characterized by a specific composition of photosynthetic antenna pigments and,consequently,by a specific excitation spectrum of the Chl fluorescence.Norm excitation spectra (emission of 680 nm and excitation of 400–600 nm) of every division were obtained from several species per division by a F4500 fluorescence spectrophotometer.Fisher’s linear discriminant analysis of the norm spectra shows that the divisions could be discriminated.The discrimination method,established by multivariate linear regression and weighted least squares,was used to differentiate the phytoplankton samples cultured in the laboratory and samples collected from the Jiaozhao Bay at division level.The correctly discriminated samples were more than 94% for single algal species ones,more than 84% for simulatively mixed ones,more than 83% for real mixed ones and 100% for samples collected from the Jiaozhou Bay for the dominant species.The method for phytoplankton differentiation described here can be applied to routine checking by fluorescence spectrophotometer,and benefit the monitoring and supervision tasks related to phytoplankton populations in the marine environments. | HU Xupeng SU Rongguo ZOU Weiming REN Shijun WANG Hongtao CHAI Xiaoping WANG Yiming | 2010 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2010,29,4: | 1 |
