1An integrated quantum secure communication system显示文摘In this paper, we investigate experimentally an integrated quantum secure communication system using weak coherent state. Two modules are involved in the presented system. One is used for generating the secret key which is obtained using continuous variable quantum key distribution scheme, and the other serves to encrypt and decrypt the real-time private data using a pure quantum cryptographic algorithm. The sifted key rate with reverse reconciliation is 8.6 and 3.9 kb/s in the quantum key distribution scheme under the individual attack and the collective attack, respectively. 2The Interplay between Artificial Intelligence and Fog Radio Access Networks显示文摘The interplay between artificial intelligence(AI) and fog radio access networks(F-RANs) is investigated in this work from two perspectives: how F-RANs enable hierarchical AI to be deployed in wireless networks and how AI makes F-RANs smarter to better serve mobile devices. Due to the heterogeneity of processing capability, the cloud, fog, and device layers in F-RANs provide hierarchical intelligence via centralized, distributed, and federated learning. In addition, cross-layer learning is also introduced to further reduce the demand for the memory size of the mobile devices. On the other hand, AI provides F-RANs with technologies and methods to deal with massive data and make smarter decisions. Specifically, machine learning tools such as deep neural networks are introduced for data processing, while reinforcement learning(RL) algorithms are adopted for network optimization and decisions. 4Structuring Nonlinear Wavefront Emitted from Monolayer Transition-Metal Dichalcogenides显示文摘The growing demand for tailored nonlinearity calls for a structure with unusual phase discontinuity that allows the realization of nonlinear optical chirality,holographic imaging,and nonlinear wavefront control.Transition-metal dichalcogenide(TMDC)monolayers offer giant optical nonlinearity within a few-angstrom thickness,but limitations in optical absorption and domain size impose restriction on wavefront control of nonlinear emissions using classical light sources.In contrast,noble metal-based plasmonic nanosieves support giant field enhancements and precise nonlinear phase control,with hundred-nanometer pixellevel resolution;however,they suffer from intrinsically weak nonlinear susceptibility.Here,we report a multifunctional nonlinear interface by integrating TMDC monolayers with plasmonic nanosieves,yielding drastically different nonlinear functionalities that cannot be accessed by either constituent.Such a hybrid nonlinear interface allows second-harmonic(SH)orbital angular momentum(OAM)generation,beam steering,versatile polarization control,and holograms,with an effective SH nonlinearityχ^((2))of~25 nm/V.This designer platform synergizes the TMDC monolayer and plasmonic nanosieves to empower tunable geometric phases and large field enhancement,paving the way toward multifunctional and ultracompact nonlinear optical devices.Xuanmiao Hong Guangwei Hu Wenchao Zhao Kai Wang Shang Sun Rui Zhu Jing Wu Weiwei Liu Kian Ping Loh Andrew Thye Shen Wee Bing Wang Andrea Alù Cheng-Wei Qiu Peixiang Lu 2020Research2020,,1:5
5Delay-Based User Association in Heterogeneous Networks with Backhaul显示文摘The Internet of things(IoT) as an important application of future communication networks puts a high premium on delay issues. Thus when Io T applications meet heterogeneous networks(HetNets) where macro cells are overlaid with small cells, some traditional problems need rethinking. In this paper, we investigate the delay-addressed association problem in two-tier Het Nets considering different backhaul technologies. Specifically, millimeter wave and fiber links are used to provide high-capacity backhaul for small cells. We first formulate the user association problem to minimize the total delay which depends on the probability of successful transmission, the number of user terminals(UTs), and the number of base stations(BSs). And then two algorithms for active mode and mixed mode are proposed to minimize the network delay. Simulation results show that algorithms based on mutual selection between UTs and BSs have better performance than those based on distance. 7Stable perovskite solar cells with efficiency of 22.6%via quinoxaline-based polymeric hole transport material显示文摘Poor stability of spiro-OMe TAD hole transport materials(HTMs)with dopant is a major obstacle for the commercialization of perovskite solar cells(pero-SCs).Herein,we demonstrate a series of quinoxaline-based D-A copolymers PBQ5,PBQ6 and PBQ10 as the dopant-free polymer HTMs for high performance pero-SCs.The D-A copolymers are composed of fluorothienyl benzodithiophene(BDTT)as D-unit,difluoroquinoxaline(DFQ)with different side chains as A-unit,and thiophene asπ-bridge,where the side chains on the DFQ unit are bi-alkyl for PBQ5,bi-alkyl-fluorothienyl for PBQ6,and alkoxyl for PBQ10.All the three copolymers are adopted as the dopant-free HTM in the pero-SCs.The planar n-i-p structured pero-SCs based on(FAPb I_(3))_(0.98)(MAPb Br_(3))_(0.02)with PBQ6 HTM demonstrated the high power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 22.6%with Vocof1.13 V and FF of 80.8%,which is benefitted from the suitable energy level and high hole mobility of PBQ6.The PCE of 22.6%is the highest efficiency reported in the n-i-p structured pero-SCs based on dopant-free D-A copolymer HTM.In addition,the peroSCs show significantly enhanced ambient,thermal and light-soaking stability compared with the devices with traditional spiroOMe TAD HTM.Chenxing Lu Can Zhu Lei Meng Chenkai Sun Wenbin Lai Shucheng Qin Jinyuan Zhang Wenchao Huang Jiaqi Du Yiyang Wang Yongfang Li 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,11:2
8Clear mortality gap caused by graft macrosteatosis in Chinese patients after cadaveric liver transplantation显示文摘Background:Liver transplantation(LT)is one of the most effective surgical treatment for patients with end-stage liver disease.Steatosis is a contributor for inferior graft quality.But its impact and safety on transplantation was less assessed in Chinese patients.Methods:Graft steatosis and related information involved in recipients,donors and surgical procedures were retrospectively collected from 239 patients.Results:Donor macrosteatosis(MaS)caused about 2.14 and 2.80 folds of increment on patient and graft mortality.Dose-response analysis revealed prominent risk of grafts on overall patient/organ mortality when MaS content exceeded 10%(P<0.05).Noteworthy,deaths were only observed in MaS group when concurrent with extremely higher post-transplant alanine aminotransferase(ALT,64%).However,microsteatosis(MiS)grafts didn’t affect outcomes after LT.In a cohort of Chinese patients,MaS had comprehensive effects on post-transplant outcomes with relatively lower safety threshold at 10%.Mortality gap caused by MaS grafts was observed in patients with severer ischemia reperfusion injury.Conclusions:Our study revealled the graft MaS affected the post-transplant outcomes in lower risk cutoff in Chinese patients.Further study is worthy to validate these results and investigate inner mechanism under the phenomenon.Zhengtao Liu Wenchao Wang Li Zhuang Jingfeng Liu Shuping Que Dan Zhu Linfang Dong Jian Yu Lin Zhou Shusen Zheng 2020Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2020,9,6:2
9A Novel Handoff Algorithm for Hierarchical Cellular Networks显示文摘In this paper, we propose a novel speed and service-sensitive handoff algorithm and analytical model for hierarchical cellular networks.First, we use the Gauss-Markov mobility model to predict the speeds of mobile stations, and divide mobile stations into three classes based on the predicted speeds: fast, medium-speed, and slow.Then, according to the mobility classification,network conditions, and service types, mobile stations will be handoff to the proper target networks prior to the deterioration of the currently operating channel. We further develop an analytical model to evaluate the performance of such a hierarchical system with different speed classes and service types. 10Detrital zircon of 4.1 Ga in South China显示文摘One hadean zircon from the Cambrian sandstone in the southern part of South China has a U-Pb age of 4107±29 Ma with ε Hf(t) value similar to that of the homochronous depleted mantle and Hf model age of 4102±21 Ma.This demonstrates the existence of hadean crustal remnant in South China.A close match between the U-Pb age and Hf model age with the highly position ε Hf(t) value indicates the growth and immediate reworking of juvenile crust from the depleted mantle at ca 4.1 Ga.The prominent 'Pan-African' and Grenville zircons derived from the exotic sources were also found in the sample,which indicates a linking between South China and Gondwana in the Cambrian period.The southern part of South China has complex histories of crustal growth and tectonic evolution.XU YaJun DU YuanSheng HUANG HongWei HUANG ZhiQiang HU LiSha ZHU YanHui YU WenChao 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,33:2

12Value of metabolic parameters in distinguishing primary mediastinal lymphomas from thymic epithelial tumors显示文摘Objective:A high rate of unnecessary thymectomies has been reported.This study aimed to distinguish primary mediastinal lymphomas(PMLs)from thymic epithelial tumors(TETs)by evaluating volumetric and metabolic parameters with l8F-FDG PET/CT.Methods:A total of 136 patients who were pathologically diagnosed with TETs or PMLs were enrolled,and 18F-FDG PET/CT was performed before therapy.Volumetric parameters,including the mean SUV(SUVmean),metabolic tumor volume(MTV),total lesion glycolysis(TLG),and SUVmax,were determined and compared between the 2 subtypes.The diagnostic performance of these parameters was evaluated with receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis.Results:All parameters significantly differed between patients with PMLs and TETs.Patients with lymphomas were younger and had higher SUVmean,SUVmax,TLG,and MTV values than patients with TETs.The MTV and TLG values had similar diagnostic performance.ROC analysis indicated that the areas under the curves of the SUVmean and SUVmax values performed similarly(approximately 0.76)in differentiating patients with PMLs from TETs,and both values were better than the MTV and TLG values.When age was included with the SUVmax in differentiating TETs from PMLs,the AUC was 0.91,and the sensitivity and specificity increased to 80%and 93%,respectively.Conclusions:The SUVmax and volumetric parameters of 18F-FDG PET/CT can be used to distinguish patients with PMLs versus TETs,and thus may aid in preventing unnecessary thymectomies or other invasive operations.Lei Zhu Xiaofeng Li Jian Wang Qiang Fu Jianjing Liu Wenchao Ma Wengui Xu Wei Chen 2020Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,2:1

15Ionization waves in nanosecond pulsed atmospheric pressure plasma jets in argon显示文摘Typical ionization waves(IWs)are observed during the propagation of nanosecond pulsed atmospheric pressure plasma jets(APPJs)with argon flow,combining both the measurement of the axial electric field(Ez)and the temporal resolved optical imaging.The movement of the luminous APPJ head is recognized as the development of the IW front,accompanied with the propagation of the peak electric field.Especially,the radial distribution of Ez transits from a central peak profile before the IW front arrives to a hollow profile after the pass of the IW front.As for the temporal Ez trend,there is a mode transition from the single-peak feature under a low peak voltage to the double-peak feature under a higher peak voltage,indicating the existence of both primary and secondary IWs.The effect of target conditions on the IWs in APPJs is also explored.With a metal target,no residual electric field is observed before imposing the high-voltage pulses.However,with a dielectric target,the residual surface charges generate a back-ground electric field in the opposite direction to that during IW propagation.In the free APPJ(with no target),on the voltage falling edge,a negative electric field drives the electron flow to compensate the positive ions left over during the forward IW propa-gation on the voltage rising edge.Bangdou Huang Cheng Zhang Wenchao Zhu Xinpei Lu Tao Shao 2021High Voltage2021,6,4:1
16GelNB molecular coating as a biophysical barrier to isolate intestinal irritating metabolites and regulate intestinal microbial homeostasis in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease显示文摘Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a chronic,immune-mediated inflammatory disease characterized by the destruction of the structure and function of the intestinal epithelial barrier.Due to the poor remission effect and severe adverse events associated with current clinical medications,IBD remains an incurable disease.Here,we demonstrated a novel treatment strategy with high safety and effective inflammation remission via tissue-adhesive molecular coating.The molecular coating is composed of o-nitrobenzaldehyde(NB)-modified Gelatin(GelNB),which can strongly bond with-NH_(2)on the intestinal surface of tissue to form a thin biophysical barrier.We found that this molecular coating was able to stay on the surface of the intestine for long periods of time,effectively protecting the damaged intestinal epithelium from irritations of external intestinal metabolites and harmful flora.In addition,our results showed that this coating not only provided a beneficial environment for cell migration and proliferation to promote intestinal repair and regeneration,but also achieved a better outcome of IBD by reducing intestinal inflammation.Moreover,the in vivo experiments showed that the GelNB was better than the classic clinical medication-mesalazine.Therefore,our molecular coating showed potential as a promising strategy for the prevention and treatment of IBD.Qijiang Mao Haoqi Pan Yiyin Zhang Yi Zhang Qiuwen Zhu Yi Hong Zhengze Huang Yang Li Xu Feng Yifeng Fang WenChao Chen Pengfei Chen Bo Shen Hongwei Ouyang Yuelong Liang 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,1:1
17Overexpression of OsKTN80a, a katanin P80ortholog, caused the repressed cell elongation and stalled cell division mediated by microtubule apparatus defects in primary root in Oryza sativa显示文摘Katanin, a microtubule‐severing enzyme, consists of two subunits: the catalytic subunit P60, and the regulatory subunit P80. In several species, P80 functions in meiotic spindle organization, the flagella biogenesis, the neuronal development, and the male gamete production. However,the P80 function in higher plants remains elusive. In this study, we found that there are three katanin P80 orthologs(OsKTN80a, OsKTN80b, and OsKTN80c) in Oryza sativa L.Overexpression of OsKTN80a caused the retarded root growth of rice seedlings. Further investigation indicates that the retained root growth was caused by the repressed cell elongation in the elongation zone and the stalled cytokinesis in the division zone in the root tip. The in vivo examination suggests that OsKTN80a acts as a microtubule stabilizer. 19Anomalous phonon softening in the topological insulator Sn-doped Bi1.1Sb0.9Te2S显示文摘Investigations into the phonon behavior provide important information on interactions between different excitations in quantum materials.We perform a detailed study of the phonon behavior in the topological insulator Sn-doped Bi1.1Sb0.9Te2S using infrared spectroscopy.We observe two IR-active phonon modes at about 64 and 165 cm^1,which are labeled withαandβ,respectively.While the evolution of theβmode with temperature can be well described by the expected anharmonic decay process,theαmode shifts to lower frequencies with decreasing temperature.Such an anomalous softening of theαmode may arise from the charged-phonon effect due to the coupling between this mode and the topological surface states in Sn-doped Bi1.1Sb0.9Te2S.BoWen Li WenChao Jiang GuanYu Chen Ying Xiang Wei Xie YaoMin Dai XiYu Zhu Huan Yang Hai-Hu Wen 2020Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,11:1
