2Energy dissipation of coal and rock during damage and failure process based on EMR显示文摘The physical and mechanical change processes of coal and rock are closely related to energy transformation,and the destruction and failure of coal and rock is an instability phenomena driven by energy change.However,the energy change of large-scale coal rock in the mine site is hardly calculated accurately,making it difficult to monitor coal-rock systematic failure and collapse from the perspective of energy.By the energy dissipation EMR monitoring system,we studied the damage and failure of coal and rock with bursting liability from the energy dissipation point using the geophysical method-EMR,and explored the energy dissipation characteristics during uniaxial compression and their main influencing factors.The results show that under displacement-control loading mode,there are 2 types of energy dissipation trends for both coal and rock with bursting liability.The type Ⅰ trend is a steady increase one during the whole process,therein,the energy dissipation of rock samples is accelerated at the peak load.The type Ⅱ trend energy is a W-shaped fluctuating one containing 6 stages.Under load-control loading mode,there is one energy dissipation trend of shock downward-steady rise.Besides that,rock samples also present a trend of 4 stages.The energy dissipation characteristics of coal and rockduring loading failure process can be used as effective criteria to assess whether they are in a stable or destructive stage.The factors influencing energy dissipation in the loading failure process of coal and rock mainly include strength,homogeneity,and energy input efficiency.Song Dazhao Wang Enyuan Li Zhonghui Liu Jie Xu Wenquan 2015International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2015,25,5:16
3Measurement of ecological capital of Chinese terrestrial ecosystem based on remote sensing显示文摘The biosphere of the Earth is essential to human survival and development. The services of ecosystems are critical to the functioning of the Earth’s life-support system. They contribute to human welfare both directly and indirectly. Ecological capital refers to the sum of the direct biological resources value and the indirect ecosystem services value. It is necessary to estimate the ecological capital in order to bring it to the society and market economic system, and draw the social attention to ecological environment constructions. An estimation model for eco-logical capital based on remote sensing is presented in this paper. The parameters in the model are quantitatively measured using NOAA/AVHRR and other ancillary data, including the land cover types, the vegetation coverage, and the vegetation net primary productivity (NPP) of ter-restrial ecosystem. Based on the economic parameters in previously published studies and a few original calculations, the annual ecological capital of the entire terrestrial ecosystem of China is quantitatively estimated at 6.44 trillion (1012) yuan (RMB), and the spatial distribution of the eco-logical capital is also analyzed. Traditional ecological methods to ecological capital measurement are based on homogeneous plot scales, and the regional scaling is a key problem in their appli-cations. As the proposed remote sensing approach, it provides a new method to ecological capital measurement completely based on observation data. 5Speciation, distribution, and potential ecological risk assessment of heavy metals in Xiamen Bay surface sediment显示文摘Based on the survey of surface sediment in Xiamen Bay in October 2011, the speciation, distribution, and potential ecological risk assessment of heavy metals(Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, and Cr) in this area were studied using the sequential extraction method and ecological risk assessment method. The results indicated:(1) the total concentrations of these heavy metals were influenced by runoff, industrial wastewater, and sewage, and were all higher in the coastal area than the offshore area while the highest area of Pb was a little farther away from the coastal water due to atmosphere deposition;(2) sequential extractions suggested that Cu was mainly composed with residual and Fe/Mn-oxide bound fractions, Pb was bound to Fe/Mn-oxide, Zn and Cr were dominated by residual, and Cd bound to exchangeable and carbonate fractions;(3) the order of migration and transformation sequence was Cd>Pb>Cu>Zn>Cr and the degree of pollution was Cd>Pb>Cu>Zn>Cr; and(4) the ratios of the secondary and primary phases showed that Zn and Cr were both clean, Cu may be polluted, Pb was moderately polluted, while Cd was heavily polluted.LIN Cai LIU Yang LI Wenquan SUN Xiuwu JI Weidong 2014Acta Oceanologica Sinica2014,33,4:11

7Integration of GPS and low cost INS for pedestrian navigation aided by building layout显示文摘In outdoor environments,GPS is often used for pedestrian navigation by utilizing its signals for position computation,but in indoor or semi-obstructed environments,GPS signals are often unavailable.Therefore,pedestrian navigation for these environments should be realized by the integration of GPS and inertial navigation system(INS).However,the lowcost INS could induce errors that may result in a large position drift.The problem can be minimized by mounting the sensors on the pedestrian's foot,using zero velocity update(ZUPT) method with the standard navigation algorithm to restrict the error growth.However,heading drift still remains despite using ZUPT measurements since the heading error is unobservable.Also,foot mounted INS suffers from the initialization ambiguity of position and heading from GPS.In this paper,a novel algorithm is developed to mitigate the heading drift problem when using ZUPT.The method uses building layout to aid the heading measurement in Kalman flter,and it could also be combined for the initialization.The algorithm has been investigated with real feld trials using the low cost Microstrain3DM-GX3-25 inertial sensor,a Leica GS10 GPS receiver and a uBlox EVK-6T GPS receiver.It could be concluded that the proposed method offers a signifcant improvement in position accuracy for the long period,allowing pedestrian navigation for nearly40 min with mean position error less than 2.8 m.This method also has a considerable effect on the accuracy of the initialization.Feng Wenquan Zhao Hongbo Zhao Qi Li Jingwen 2013Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5:8
8Photocatalytic defluorination of perfluorooctanoic acid by surface defective BiOCl:Fast microwave solvothermal synthesis and photocatalytic mechanisms显示文摘There is an urgent need for developing cost-effective methods for the treatment of perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA)due to its global emergence and potential risks.In this study,taking surface-defective BiOCl as an example,a strategy of surface oxygen vacancy modulation was used to promote the photocatalytic defluorination efficiency of PFOA under simulated sunlight irradiation.The defective BiOCl was fabricated by a fast microwave solvothermal method,which was found to induce more surface oxygen vacancies than conventional solvothermal and precipitation methods.As a result,the asprepared BiOCl showed significantly enhanced defluorination efficiency,which was 2.7 and33.8 times higher than that of BiOCl fabricated by conventional solvothermal and precipitation methods,respectively.Mechanistic studies indicated that the defluorination of PFOA follows a direct hole(h^+)oxidation pathway with the aid of·OH,while the oxygen vacancies not only promote charge separation but also facilitate the intimate contact between the photocatalyst surface and PFOA by coordinating with its terminal carboxylate group in a bidentate or bridging mode.This work will provide a general strategy of oxygen vacancy modulation by microwave-assisted methods for efficient photocatalytic defluorination of PFOA in the environment using sunlight as the energy source.Yuanyuan Sun Guiying Li Wanjun Wang Wenquan Gu Po Keung Wong Taicheng An 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,10:7
9Random weighting method for Cox’s proportional hazards model显示文摘Variance of parameter estimate in Cox’s proportional hazards model is based on asymptotic variance. When sample size is small, variance can be estimated by bootstrap method. However, if censoring rate in a survival data set is high, bootstrap method may fail to work properly. This is because bootstrap samples may be even more heavily censored due to repeated sampling of the censored observations. This paper proposes a random weighting method for variance estimation and confidence interval estimation for proportional hazards model. This method, unlike the bootstrap method, does not lead to more severe censoring than the original sample does. Its large sample properties are studied and the consistency and asymptotic normality are proved under mild conditions. 11Imaging of Structure Evolution in Solidifying Al–Bi Immiscible Alloys by Synchrotron Radiography显示文摘Using synchrotron X-ray imaging technique,the segregation evolution in solidifying Al–10 wt% Bi immiscible alloys was investigated at different cooling rates.Irrespective of the cooling rate,most of the Bi solute appeared at the upper part of the sample after solidification.The reason for this Bi enrichment phenomenon is different for different cooling rates.Besides Marangoni motion,positive segregation,which has rarely been noticed before,can also make Bi solute transfer to the hot top zone.It is also found that,bubbles(or pores) appear in solidifying Al–10 wt% Bi alloys,and the number of bubbles(or pores) increases with the increase of the cooling rate,while the size of the bubbles(or pores) decreases.Wenquan Lu Shuguang Zhang Wei Zhang Jianguo Li 2016Journal of Materials Science & Technology2016,32,12:4
12Effect of preoperative nutrition therapy type and duration on short-time outcomes in gastric cancer patient with gastric outlet obstruction显示文摘Objective:To avoid perioperative complications caused malnutrition,nutrition therapy is necessary in gastric outlet obstruction(GOO)patients.Compared to parenteral nutrition(PN),enteral nutrition(EN)is associated with many advantages.This study aimed to investigate whether preoperative EN has beneficial clinical effects compared to preoperative PN in gastric cancer patients with GOO undergoing surgery.Methods:According to the methods of preoperative nutrition therapy,143 patients were divided into EN group(n=42)and PN group(n=101)between January 2013 and December 2017 at the Chinese People’s Liberation Army General Hospital.Multiple logistic regression models were used to assess the association between the methods of preoperative nutrition therapy and postoperative day of flatus passage.The generalized additive model and twopiecewise linear regression model were used to calculate the inflection point of the preoperative nutritional therapy time on the postoperative day of flatus passage in the PN group.Results:EN shortened the postoperative day of flatus passage in gastric cancer patients with GOO,which is a protective factor,especially in patients who underwent non-radical operations and the postoperative day of flatus passage reduced when the preoperative PN therapy was up to 3 d and a longer PN therapy(>3 d)did not accelerate the postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal functions.Conclusions:Preoperative EN therapy would benefit gastric cancer patients with GOO by accelerating postoperative recovery.For patients with absolute obstruction,no more than 3-day PN therapy is recommended if patients can tolerate general anesthesia and surgery.Jiyang Li Shaoqing Li Hongqing Xi Peifa Liu Wenquan Liang Yunhe Gao Chuang Wang Bo Wei Lin Chen Yun Tang Zhi Qiao 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,2:4
13Selenium Enrichment in Cambrian Stratabound Gold Deposits in the Western Qinling Mountains显示文摘Stratabound gold deposits in the western Qinling Mountains occur in Cambrian chert formation composed of carbonaceous chert and carbonaceous slate. The distinctive chert formation provides important grounds for the mineralization and controls on the formation of gold deposits. Study shows that Se is exceptionally higher in both host rocks and gold orebodies. It may be recovered as a valuable component in ores for total utilization, and in some localities even independent Se orebodies (which are mined exclusively for Se) may be delineated. 14In-situ study on hydrogen bubble evolution in the liquid Al/solid Ni interconnection by synchrotron radiation X-ray radiography显示文摘Synchrotron X-ray radiography was used to carry out an in-situ observation of the hydrogen bubble evolution in the liquid Al/solid Ni interconnection. The individual bubble mainly grows in a stochastic way during heating. The size distribution for groups of bubbles follows a Gaussian distribution in the early stage and Lifshitz-Slyozov-Wagner(LSW) diffusion controlled distribution in the final stage. The intermetallic compounds(IMCs) first form during solidification, following by the hydrogen bubbles. The bubbles between two adjacent Al3Ni grains grow unidirectionally along the liquid channel, with the bottom being impeded by the Al3Ni phase and the radius of the growth front being smaller. 15Effect of cooling rate on the 3D morphology of the proeutectic Al3Ni intermetallic compound formed at the Al/Ni interface after solidification显示文摘Effect of cooling rate on the 3 D morphology and the growth mechanism of the proeutectic Al3Ni intermetallic compound(IMC) that forms at the Al/Ni interface after solidification was investigated by synchrotron X-ray microtomography in combination with EBSD analysis. The proeutectic Al3Ni phase that forms under an average cooling rate of 0.1 Ks^(-1) shows a characteristic faceted growth behavior and presents a typical 3 D morphology as partially hollow quadrangular prisms. On the contrary, that forms under an average cooling rate of 10 Ks^(-1) shows complicated dendritic morphology with asymmetrically distributed arms and faceted V-shape groove at the distal end, indicating a gradual transition of the growth behavior from non-faceted to faceted during the solidification process. 16Recent Progress in Metallurgical Bonding Mechanisms at the Liquid/Solid Interface of Dissimilar Metals Investigated via in situ X-ray Imaging Technologies显示文摘The liquid/solid(L/S)interface of dissimilar metals is critical to the microstructure,mechanical strength,and structural integrity of interconnects in many important applications such as electronics,automotive,aeronautics,and astronautics,and therefore has drawn increasing research interests.To design preferential microstructure and optimize mechanical properties of the interconnects,it is crucial to understand the formation and growth mechanisms of diversified structures at the L/S interface during interconnecting.In situ synchrotron radiation or tube-generated X-ray radiography and tomography technologies make it possible to observe the evolution of the L/S interface directly and therefore have greatly propelled the research in this field.Here,we review the recent progress in understanding the L/S interface behaviors using advanced in situ X-ray imaging techniques with a particular focus on the following two issues:(1)interface behaviors in the solder joints for microelectronic packaging including the intermetallic compounds(IMCs)during refl ow,Sn dendrites,and IMCs during solidification and refl ow porosities and(2)growth characteristics and morphological transition of IMCs in the interconnect of dissimilar metals at high temperature.Furthermore,the main achievements and future research perspectives in terms of metallurgical bonding mechanisms under complex conditions with improved X-ray sources and detectors are remarked and discussed.Zongye Ding Naifang Zhang Liao Yu Wenquan Lu Jianguo Li Qiaodan Hu 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,2:3
17Comparative transcriptome analysis of different heat stress responses between self-root grafting line and heterogeneous grafting line in rose显示文摘Rose is sensitive to high temperature which will make the rose go into a semi-dormancy state.Grafting is an excellent way to enhance rose heat tolerance.Here,heat-tolerant Rosa multiflora‘Huanong Wuci 1'(W)and heat-sensitive Rosa chinensis‘Old Blush’(X)were selected as experimental materials.The RNA-seq technique was used to investigate the transcriptomes of self-root grafting line(XX0),heterogeneous grafting line(XW0),self-root grafting line under 6 h heat stress(XX6),and heterogeneous grafting line under 6 h heat stress(XW6).Under high temperature stress,multiple signaling pathways were activated,moreover,a large number of transcription factors and functional genes were induced,especially the HSFs and HSPs with remarkably upregulated expression levels.The GO analysis showed that the differences in the expressions of the genes related to fatty acids and carbohydrates were observed between self-root grafting line and heterogeneous grafting line.In addition,14 P450s were differentially expressed,and one lectin gene was up-regulated in XW0 vs XW6,but down-regulated in XX0 vs XX6.Considering physiological and biochemical traits such as relative electrolyte leakage,SOD activity,proline,and total soluble sugars,DEGs involved in these processes may be key factors to resist high temperature.The present study provides an insight into the complex mechanism underlying grafting in response to heat stress.Our results indicate that grafting is an effective way to improve rose heat resistance.Wenquan Qi Chunling Zhang Wenjing Wang Zhe Cao Song Li Hang Li Wan Zhu Yongqi Huang Manzhu Bao Yanhong He Riru Zheng 2021Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,3:3
18Dark current mechanism of unpassivated mid wavelength type II InAs/GaSb superlattice infrared photodetector显示文摘We investigate the dark current mechanism for an unpassivated mid wavelength(MW) type II InAs/GaSb superlattice infrared photodetector by doing the variablearea diode tests. The bulk resistance-area product and the resistivity due to the surface current are determined to be17.72 X cm2 and 704.23 X cm at 77 K, respectively. It is found that for all the mesa sizes used, the dark current is dominated or predominated by the surface component, and with scaling back the mesa size, the surface current increases while the bulk component decreases. The activation energy is determined to be 145 meV for the temperature range around 140–280 K, while it is 6 meV when temperature is below 100 K. 20Direct methanol fuel cells system-A review of dual-role electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction and methanol oxidation显示文摘One fundamental challenge in exploiting direct methanol fuel cells(DMFCs)is the preparation of inex-pensive,high active electrocatalysts,which are highly active and durable for the two half-reactions,i.e.,the methanol oxidation reaction(MOR)at the anode and the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)at the cathode.Platinum group metals-based catalysts have been known the governing dual-functional electro-catalysts based on the literature reports.But these catalysts are expensive and commercialize the DMFC less attractive.In addition to the high-cost,there are also methanol crossover,CO poisoning,long-term instability,and other problems as for Pt-based spurs.For the dual-role MOR&ORR catalysts,methanol crossover is inevitable to a certain extent on the current development of DMFC with losses in terms of cell voltage.In this regard,one strategy is to exploit high selective anodic/cathodic electrocatalysts to cap-italize the energy density at a high concentration of methanol.According to the summary results,there are mainly two types of dual-role electrocatalysts:one is Pt-support/co-catalyst(designated as P-S/C)for MOR/ORR,the other is catalyst/co-catalyst(designated as C/C)for MOR/ORR.This paper aims to review the design and construction of the various dual-role catalysts and give some discussion briefly.Yuanhui Zuo Wenchao Sheng Wenquan Tao Zhuo Li 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,19:2
