1Thinning and destruction of the cratonic lithosphere:A global perspective显示文摘It has been proposed that the North China Craton(NCC)was thinned up to a thickness of>100 km during the Phanerozoic,and underwent an associated craton destruction.Evidently,it is an important topic worthy of future study to understanding the mechanism of cratonic destruction and its role played in the continental evolution.After synthesized the global cratons of India,Brazil,South Africa,Siberia,East Europe(Baltic)and North America,we found that lithospheric thinning is common in the cratonic evolution,but it is not always associated with craton destruction.Most cratons was thinned by thermal erosion of mantle plume or mantle upwelling,which,however,may not cause craton destruction.Based on the studies of the North American and North China Cratons,we suggest that oceanic subduction plays an important role in caton destruction.Fluids or melts released by dehydration of the subducted slabs metasomatize the mantle wedge above and trigger extensive partial melting.More importantly,the metasomatized mantle lost its original rigidity and make craton easier to be deformed and then to be destoyed.Therefore,we suggest that the widespread crust-derived granite and large-scale ductile deformation within the continental crust can be regarded as the petrological and structural indicators of craton destruction,respectively.WU FuYuan XU YiGang ZHU RiXiang ZHANG GuoWei 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,12:33
2Continuous unidirectional solidification of QAl9-4 Cu-Al alloy显示文摘A continuous unidirectional solidification equipment with the advantages of electric slag remelting, induction heating, continuous casting and unidirectional solidification was built to study the QAl9 4 Cu Al alloy. 4Synthesis and evaluation of a paclitaxel-binding polymeric micelle for efficient breast cancer therapy显示文摘Paclitaxel(PTX) is one of the most effective anticancer drugs for the treatment of various solid tumors, but its clinical use is limited by its poor solubility, low bioavailability, and severe systemic toxicity. Encapsulation of PTX in polymeric nanoparticles is used to overcome these problems but these micelles still need improvements in stability, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic efficacy, and safety profiles. In this study, we demonstrate a facile fabrication of a stable PTX-binding micelle made from poly(ethylene glycol)-block-dendritic polylysine, whose primary amines were reacted with phenethyl isothiocyanate(PEITC), a hydrophobic anticancer agent under clinical study. The amphiphilic conjugate(PEG-Gx-PEITC; Gx, the generation of the polylysine dendron) formed well-defined micelles whose core was composed of phenyl groups and thiourea groups binding PTX via π-π stacking and hydrogen bonding. Compared with the PTX-loaded poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(D,L-lactide)(PEGPDLLA/PTX) micelles in clinical use, PTX-loaded PEG-Gx-PEITC third-generation(PEG-G3-PEITC/PTX) micelles showed slowed blood clearance, enhanced tumor accumulation, and thus much improved in vivo therapeutic efficacy in both subcutaneous and orthotopic human breast cancer xenografts. 5Microblog Burst Keywords Detection Based on Social Trust and Dynamics Model显示文摘Microblog has emerged as a popular medium for providing new sources of information and rapid communications, particularly during burst topics. Burst keywords detection from real-time microblog streams is important for burst topics detection. The exiting algorithms may detect fake burst keywords without taking into account the trustworthiness of the users and human's daily timetable. Our work is the first to combine the trustworthiness of the users with burst keywords detection. We propose a novel approach to detect burst keywords based on social trust and dynamics model. We adapt basic notions of dynamics from physics and model keywords bursts as momentum change of the keywords. On the analogy of physical dynamics model, this approach defines mass as the trustworthiness of user and position as the frequency of keywords. We compute each keyword's burst value by using Moving average convergence/divergence(MACD) and determine whether it is a burst keyword in a given time window. 6SARS-CoV-2 promotes RIPK1 activation to facilitate viral propagation显示文摘Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),is the ongoing global pandemic that poses substantial challenges to public health worldwide.A subset of COVID-19 patients experience systemic inflammatory response,known as cytokine storm,which may lead to death.Receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 1(RIPK1)is an important mediator of inflammation and cell death.Here,we examined the interaction of RIPK1-mediated innate immunity with SARS-CoV-2 infection.We found evidence of RIPK1 activation in human COVID-19 lung pathological samples,and cultured human lung organoids and ACE2 transgenic mice infected by SARS-CoV-2.Inhibition of RIPK1 using multiple smallmolecule inhibitors reduced the viral load of SARS-CoV-2 in human lung organoids.Furthermore,therapeutic dosing of the RIPK1 inhibitor Nec-1s reduced mortality and lung viral load,and blocked the CNS manifestation of SARS-CoV-2 in ACE2 transgenic mice.Mechanistically,we found that the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase of SARS-CoV-2,NSP12,a highly conserved central component of coronaviral replication and transcription machinery,promoted the activation of RIPK1.Furthermore,NSP12323L variant,encoded by the SARS-CoV-2 C14408T variant first detected in Lombardy,Italy,that carries a Pro323Leu amino acid substitution in NSP12,showed increased ability to activate RIPK1.Inhibition of RIPK1 downregulated the transcriptional induction of proinflammatory cytokines and host factors including ACE2 and EGFR that promote viral entry into cells.Our results suggest that SARS-CoV-2 may have an unexpected and unusual ability to hijack the RIPK1-mediated host defense response to promote its own propagation and that inhibition of RIPK1 may provide a therapeutic option for the treatment of COVID-19.Gang Xu Ying Li Shengyuan Zhang Haoran Peng Yunyun Wang Dekang Li Taijie Jin Zhuohao He Yilun Tong Chunting Qi Guowei Wu Kangyun Dong Jizhou Gou Yang Liu Tongyang Xiao Jing Qu Liang Li Liang Liu Ping Zhao Zheng Zhang Junying Yuan 2021Cell Research2021,31,12:6

8Effects of correlative factors on the interdendritic melt flow brought by the bulge in continuous casting slabs显示文摘The effects of various factors on the flow speed of interdendritic melt were analyzed in detail in the process of continuous casting slabs. When the solid-liquid interface bends periodically, the expression of solute distribution in the columnar crystal zone was deduced, and the quantitative calculation was also made. The results show that the bulge and the interdendritic spacing are responsible for the flow speed of interdendritic melt. At the initial stage of solidification the bulge operates, and at the final stage the interdendritic spacing operates. 9Kongsheng Zhenzhong pill's effect on the learning and memory ability and its neuroprotective effects in vascular dementia rats显示文摘Clinical reports have demonstrated that the Kongsheng Zhenzhong pill (KSZZP),a classical prescription deriving from Valuable Prescription for Emergencies,has good therapeutic effects on vascular dementia.However,the mechanisms that mediate its effects remain unclear.In this study,the expression of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 1 mRNA,the content of nitric oxide,and the concentration of calcium in neurons was determined with in situ hybridization,spectrophotometry and flow cytometry,respectively.In addition,the expressions of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 1,nerve growth factor protein,and glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor protein were detected with immunohistochemistry.We found that KSZZP could significantly decrease the expression of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 1 mRNA and protein,the content of nitric oxide,and the concentration of calcium in neurons.KSZZP also increased the expression of nerve growth factor and glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor protein in the hippocampus CA1 region and in the cerebral cortex.Morris water maze and passive avoidance tests verified that KSZZP ameliorated the cognitive impairments of vascular dementia rats.Moreover,the KSZZP-induced improvements in the cognitive functions of vascular dementia rats were correlated with both inhibition of N-methyl-D-aspartate-induced excitable neurotoxicity and elevation of neurotrophic factor expression.Xuming Ji Huayun Yu Bin Ouyang Guowei Liu Zhichun Wu Heng Liu Fang Du 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,30:3
10Human pathogenic fungus Trichophyton schoenleinii activates the NLRP3 inflammasome显示文摘The fungus Trichophyton schoenleinii(T.schoenleinii)is the causative agent of Trichophytosis and Tinea favosa of the scalp in certain regions of Eurasia and Africa.Hu-man innate immune system plays an important role in combating with various pathogens including fungi.The inflammasome is one of the most critical arms of host innate immunity,which is a protein complex controlling maturation of IL-1β.To clarify whether T.schoenleinii is able to activate the infl ammasome,we analyzed human monocytic cell line THP-1 for IL-1βproduction upon infec-tion with T.schoenleinii strain isolated from Tinea favosa patients,and rapid IL-1βsecretion from THP-1 cells was observed.Moreover,applying competitive inhibitors and gene specifi c silencing with shRNA,we found that T.sch-oenleinii induced IL-1βsecretion,ASC pyroptosome for-mation as well as caspase-1 activation were all dependent on NLRP3.Cathepsin B activity,ROS production and K+effl ux were required for the infl ammasome activation by T.schoenleinii.Our data thus reveal that the NLRP3 infl am-masome plays an important role in host defense against T.schoenleinii,and suggest that manipulating NLRP3 signaling can be a novel approach for control of diseases caused by T.schoenleinii infection.Hua Li Shuxian Wu Liming Mao Guowei Lei Liping Zhang Ailing Lu Liguo An Guiwen Yang Paride Abliz Guangxun Meng 2013Protein & Cell2013,4,7:3
11Stoichiometric Conversion of Maltose for Biomanufacturing by In Vitro Synthetic Enzymatic Biosystems显示文摘Maltose is a natural α-(1,4)-linked disaccharide with wide applications in food industries and microbial fermentation. However,maltose has scarcely been used for in vitro biosynthesis, possibly because its phosphorylation by maltose phosphorylase (MP)yields β-glucose 1-phosphate (β-G1P) that cannot be utilized by α-phosphoglucomutase (α-PGM) commonly found in in vitrosynthetic enzymatic biosystems previously constructed by our group. Herein, we designed an in vitro synthetic enzymaticreaction module comprised of MP, β-phosphoglucomutase (β-PGM), and polyphosphate glucokinase (PPGK) for thestoichiometric conversion of each maltose molecule to two glucose 6-phosphate (G6P) molecules. Based on this syntheticmodule, we further constructed two in vitro synthetic biosystems to produce bioelectricity and fructose 1,6-diphosphate (FDP),respectively. The 14-enzyme biobattery achieved a Faraday efficiency of 96.4% and a maximal power density of 0.6mW/cm^(2),whereas the 5-enzyme in vitro FDP-producing biosystem yielded 187.0mM FDP from 50 g/L (139mM) maltose by adopting afed-batch substrate feeding strategy. 12UGGreedy: Influence Maximization for User Group in Microblogging显示文摘We study a new influence maximization problem about how to find a seed set which can maximize the influence spread to a targeted user group in microblogging. To solve this problem, we propose a threestage User group greedy algorithm(UGGreedy) based on user attributes. To reduce network scale, we delete useless user nodes, and rank the rest of users based on user attributes to form a seed candidate set. We employ the seed candidate set to construct a simplified microblogging network graph. 20A PRIVACY-PRESERVING AUTHENTICATION SCHEME USING BIOMETRICS FOR PERVASIVE COMPUTING ENVIRONMENTS显示文摘In pervasive computing environments,users can get services anytime and anywhere,but the ubiquity and mobility of the environments bring new security challenges.The user and the service provider do not know each other in advance,they should mutually authenticate each other.The service provider prefers to authenticate the user based on his identity while the user tends to stay anonymous.Privacy and security are two important but seemingly contradictory objectives.As a result,a user prefers not to expose any sensitive information to the service provider such as his physical location,ID and so on when being authenticated.In this paper,a highly flexible mutual authentication and key establishment protocol scheme based on biometric encryption and Diffie-Hellman key exchange to secure interactions between a user and a service provider is proposed.Not only can a user's anonymous authentication be achieved,but also the public key cryptography operations can be reduced by adopting this scheme.Different access control policies for different services are enabled by using biometric encryption technique.The correctness of the proposed authentication and key establishment protocol is formally verified based on SVO logic.Yao Lin Kong Xiangwei Wu Guowei Fan Qingna Lin Chi 2010Journal of Electronics(China)2010,27,1:1
