1Curative effect of heat-sensitive moxibustion on chronic persistent asthma: a multicenter randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To compare the curative effects of heat-sensitive moxibustion with conventional drugs on chronic persistent asthma and seek a valuable therapy to replaceWestern Medicine.METHODS:The participants in this multi-center,randomized,and controlled study were randomly divided into two groups:group A(n=144),treated with heat-sensitive moxibustion(50 sessions)and group B(n=144),treated with Seretide(salmeterol50μg/fluticasone 250μg,twice a day).The scores of asthma control test(ACT),forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1),peak expiratory flow(PEF),and attack frequency were measured after 15,30,60,and 90 days of treatment.Patients followed up3 and 6 months after treatment.RESULTS:There was a significant difference(P=0.0002)in the ACT score and lung function between the two groups after 3 months of treatment and(P=0.000 03)during the follow-up visits.In addition,heat-sensitive moxibustion reduced attack frequency in the period from inclusion to the6-month follow-up visit.CONCLUSION:This study shows that heat-sensitive moxibustion may have a comparable curative effect toSeretide(salmeterol/fluticasone)on asthma.Rixin Chen Mingren Chen Jun Xiong Zhenhai Chi B0 Zhang Ning Tian Zhenhua Xu Tangfa Zhang Wanyao Li Wei Zhang Xiaofeng Rong Zhen Wang Gang Sun Baohe Ge Guoxiong Yu Nanchang Song 2013Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,5:20

3Spatial distribution and focal mechanism solutions of the Wenchuan earthquake series:Results and implications显示文摘We relocate the spatial distribution of the devastating 12 May 2008 Wenchuan earthquake and its aftershocks.The relocation database is obtained from 89 stations deployed by the China Earthquake Administration,including 54 525 seismograms from 1 376 local earthquakes over MS3.5 between 12 May 2008 and 3 August 2008.The cross-correlation technique used in this paper has greatly improved the relocation precision by giving much more accurate P-wave differential travel-time measurements than those obtained from routinely picked phase onsets.At the same time,we pick P-wave polarity observations of the Wenchuan earthquake series (hereafter referred to as WES) from 1 023 stations in China and 59 IRIS (Incorporated Research Institutions of Seismology) stations.Then,employing a newly developed program CHNYTX,we obtain 83 well-determined focal mechanism solutions (hereafter referred to as FMSs).Based on spatial distribution and FMSs of the WES,we draw following conclusions:(1) The region near the main shock exhibits a buried low-angle northwest-dipping seismic zone with the main shock at its upper end and two conjugated seismic zones dipping southeast with roughly equal dip-angle;(2) The compressional directions of all kinds of FMSs of the WES are subhorizontal,which reflects the dominant stress in this area is compressional;(3) The principal compressional direction of the regional stress around Wenchuan is roughly perpendicular to the strike of Beichuan-Yingxiu fault,while around Qingchuan it is roughly parallel to the strike of Qingchuan fault.In intermediate part of the Longmenshan area,the principal compressional direction of the stress should be in-between;(4) The possibly existed molten materials in the lower crust of Songpan-Garze terrain have small contribution to the local stress state in Longmenshan area.The listric geometries of the Longmenshan faults most probably resulted from subhorizontal compression along NW-SE direction in history.Chen Cai Chunquan Yu Kai Tao Xingping Hu Yuan Tian Hao Zhang Xiaofeng Cui Jieyuan Ning 2011Earthquake Science2011,24,1:13
4Development of a new method for analyzing free aluminum ions(Al^(3+)) in seafood using HPLC-ICP-MS显示文摘This paper presents a novel method for simultaneous online examination of free aluminum ions(Al3+)in seafood,using solidphase extraction and high-performance liquid chromatography online with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(SPEHPLC-ICP-MS),without post-column reaction.The optimum conditions for chromatographic separation of Al3+were achieved using an IonPac CS5A analytical column with an IonPac CG5A guard column.The mobile phase consisted of 0.040 mol/L LiOH,0.0060 mol/L 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid,and 0.090 mol/L CH3COOH(pH 4.7).The free Al3+ions in seafood were extracted by shaking with the mobile phase at 70°C for 2 h.SPE was conducted using an Oasis MCX,3cc/60 mg,30μm column,which was activated and equilibrated with 2 mL of methanol and 4 mL of deionized water before use.HCl(0.075 mol/L,2 mL)was used to wash inorganic Al from the SPE column.The standard recoveries of Al3+were all above 89%and the relative standard deviations were all below 5%.The proposed method was successfully used for the examination of Al3+in seafood samples,and the results were similar to those obtained using the static equilibrium method.SHANG DeRong ZHAO YanFang ZHAI YuXiu NING JinSong DING HaiYan SHENG XiaoFeng 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,35:8

6Design and synthesis of porous non-noble metal oxides for catalytic removal of VOCs显示文摘The design and synthesis of highly active non-noble metal oxide catalysts, such as transition- and rare-earth-metal oxides, have attracted significant attention because of their high efficiency and low cost and the resultant potential applications for the degradation of volatile organic compounds(VOCs). The structure-activity relationships have been well-studied and used to facilitate design of the structure and composition of highly active catalysts. Recently, non-noble metal oxides with porous structures have been used as catalysts for deep oxidation of VOCs, such as aromatic hydrocarbons, aliphatic compounds, aldehydes, and alcohols, with comparable activities to their noble metal counterparts. 7Conversion of hepatoma cells to hepatocyte-like cells by defined hepatocyte nuclear factors显示文摘Normal cells become cancer cells after a malignant transformation,but whether cancer cells can be reversed to normal status remains elusive.Here,we report that the combination of hepatocyte nuclear factor IA (HNFIA),HNF4A and forkhead box protein A3 (FOXA3)synergistically reprograms hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)cells to hepatocyte-like cells (reprogrammed hepatocytes, rHeps).Our results show that rHeps lose the malignant phenotypes of cancer cells and retrieve hepatocyte-specific characteristics including hepatocyte-like morphology;global expression pattern of genes and specific biomarkers of hepatocytes;and the unique hepatic functions of albumin (ALB)secretion,glycogen synthesis,low-density lipoprotein (LDL)uptake,urea production, cytochrome P450 enzymes induction and drug metabolism.Intratumoral injection of these three factors efficiently shrank patientderived tumor xenografts and reprogrammed HCC cells in vivo.Most importantly,transplantation of rHeps in the liver of fumarylacetoacetate hydrolase-deficient (Fah^-/-)mice led to the reconstruction of hepatic lobules and the restoration of hepatic function.Mechanistically,exogenous expression of HNF1A,HNF4A and FOXA3 in HCC cells initiated the endogenous expression of numerous hepatocyte nuclear factors,which promoted the conversion of HCC cells to hepatocyte-like cells.Collectively,our results indicate the successful conversion of hepatoma cells to hepatocyte-like cells,not only extending our current knowledge of cell reprogramming but also providing a route towards a novel therapeutic strategy for cancer.Zhuo Cheng Zhiying He Yongchao Cai Cheng Zhang Gongbo Fu Hengyu Li Wen Sun Changcheng Liu Xiuliang Cui Beifang Ning Daimin Xiang Tengfei Zhou Xiaofeng Li Weifen Xie Hongyang Wang Jin Ding 2019Cell Research2019,29,2:3
8Distributed Information Flow Verification for Secure Service Composition in Smart Sensor Network显示文摘Accelerate processor, efficient software and pervasive connections provide sensor nodes with more powerful computation and storage ability, which can offer various services to user. Based on these atomic services, different sensor nodes can cooperate and compose with each other to complete more complicated tasks for user. However, because of the regional characteristic of sensor nodes, merging data with different sensitivities become a primary requirement to the composite services, and information flow security should be intensively considered during service composition. In order to mitigate the great cost caused by the complexity of modeling and the heavy load of single-node verification to the energy-limited sensor node, in this paper, we propose a new distributed verification framework to enforce information flow security on composite services of smart sensor network. We analyze the information flows in composite services and specify security constraints for each service participant. Then we propose an algorithm over the distributed verification framework involving each sensor node to participate in the composite service verification based on the security constraints. 10Correlation of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome with metabolic syndrome in snorers显示文摘Though obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) and metabolic syndrome(MS) are correlated;the contributing factors for the occurrence of MS in Chinese snorers remain largely undefined.We aimed to investigate the associated pathogenesis of coexistence of OSAHS and MS in Chinese snorers.A total of 144 Chinese habitual snorers were divided into 3 groups,the control group(simple snorers)(n = 36),the mild OSAHS group(n= 52)and the moderate-to-severe OSAHS group(n = 56).The incidence of MS in the moderate-to-severe OSAHS group(26.8%) was significantly higher than that in the control group(8.3%),the mild OSAHS group(11.1%) and all the OSAHS patients(19.45%)(all P < 0.05).Homeostatic model assessment(HOMA) index and proinsulin(PI) were negatively correlated with nocturnal meanSpO_2 and miniSpO_2.Meanwhile,nocturnal SpO_2 were negatively correlated with body mass index,waist and neck circumferences and diastolic blood pressure,but positively correlated with total cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol.The study indicated that in Chinese snorers,moderate-to-severe OSAHS was closely associated with MS via nocturnal hypoxemia.Qun Zhang Xiaofeng Zhang Mengmeng Zhao Hanpeng Huang Ning Ding Xilong Zhang Hong Wang 2014The Journal of Biomedical Research2014,28,3:2

13Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation of modern rose(Rosa hybrida)using leaf-derived embryogenic callus显示文摘Rose(Rosa hybrida)is widely used for cut flowers and as garden plants.Stable and efficient transformation system is required for functional genomics of rose.Here,we established an efficient transformation method for rose using Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation of embryogenic callus.Expanding rose leaves were used as explants to induce somatic embryos,which were subjected to transformation with A.tumefaciens strain GV3101 using Green Fluorescence Protein(GFP)as a marker gene.It took about 8 months to generate transgenic shoots from embryogenic callus.PCR,RT-PCR,Southern and Western blotting,as well as stereoscopic fluorescence microscopy analysis demonstrated that GFP transgenes integrated stably into the rose genome.According to our data,a transformation efficiency of up to 6%can be achieved by following this optimized protocol.Guoqin Liu Yuan Yuan Hui Jiang Ying Bao Guogui Ning Liangjun Zhao Xiaofeng Zhou Hougao Zhou Junping Gao Nan Ma 2021Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,4:1

16Synthesis of jet fuel additive with cyclopentanone显示文摘A new route was developed for the synthesis of renewable decalin with cyclopentanone which can be derived from lignocellulose.It was found that 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydronaphthalene could be selectively produced by the hydrogenation/dehydration/rearrangement of [1,1-bi(cyclopentylidene)]-2-one(i.e.the selfaldol condensation product of cyclopentanone) over a dual-bed catalyst system.Among the investigated catalysts,the Ru/C and Amberlyst-15 resin exhibited the highest activities for the hydrogenation of [1,1-bi(cyclopentylidene)]-2-one to [1,1-bi(cyclopentan)]-2-ol and the dehydration/rearrangement of [1,1-bi(cyclopentan)]-2-ol to 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydronaphthalene,respectively.Using Ru/C and Amberlyst-15 resin as the first bed and the second bed catalysts,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydronaphthalene was directly produced in high carbon yield(83.7%) under mild conditions(393 K,1 MPa).After being hydrogenated,the1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydronaphthalene was converted to decalin which can be used as additive to improve the thermal stability and volumetric heat value of jet fuel.Hao Tang Fang Chen Guangyi Li Xiaofeng Yang Yancheng Hu Aiqin Wang Yu Cong Xiaodong Wang Tao Zhang Ning Li 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,2:1

20Mechanical characteristics of Hanfu apple at low temperature显示文摘To find out a low temperature storage method for the maintenance of Hanfu apple’s firmness,crispness and moisture content,three storage methods in refrigerator,large cellar,and small cellar were experimented.Tests and comparisons were conducted for parameters including maximum absolute deformation,elastic modulus,firmness in compression test,and weight loss rate using mechanical characteristics monitoring and regular weighing during and after storage.Five testing groups with different pretreatments were arranged for refrigerator tests.The results showed that lower weight loss rates were achieved in two cellars than in the refrigerator;and difference between the large and small cellars was insignificant.However,cellar storage was only feasible for a relatively short term.Refrigeration storage with humidification sealing treatment yielded the optimal result in maintaining firmness,crispness and moisture of Hanfu apples,showing advantage in long-term storage.Zhang Benhua Guan Shujie Ning Xiaofeng Gong Yuanjuan 2014International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2014,7,3:1
