| 1 | Recent Advances in Synthesis of Waterborne Polyurethane and Their Application in Water-based Ink:A Review显示文摘Over the last few years,waterborne polyurethane(WPU) was applied to various fibers,adhesives,primers for metals,caulking materials,emulsion polymerization media,paint additives,defoamers,associate thickeners,pigment pastes,textile dyes and biomaterials,resulting in the increasing enthusiasm of researchers to design and synthesize novel WPU with unique properties.Thus,various processes and raw materials have been developed to prepare WPU.This review gives an overview on the developments of WPU mainly derived from novel polyols,analyzes the potential application in water-based inks and presents the probable future research area about water-based inks.Notably,the poly(ε-caprolactone) and poly(lactic acid) are the versatile materials used in WPU synthesis and supply the potential special performance for preparing WPU.Meanwhile,addition-fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT) polymerization and atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP) processes provide an opportunity to control the chain sequence of WPU and obtain products with the desired performance. | Xing Zhou Yan Li Changqing Fang Shujuan Li Youliang Cheng Wanqing Lei Xiangjie Meng | 2015 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2015,31,7: | 47 |
| 2 | Clinical evaluation following the use of mineralized collagen graft for bone defects in revision total hip arthroplasty显示文摘Revision total hip arthroplasty(THA)with massive bone loss has been a real challenge for orthopaedic surgeons.Here we describe an approach using mineralized collagen(MC)graft to reconstruct acetabulum and femur with massive bone defects.We identified 89 patients suffering acetabular or femoral bone defects after primary THA,who required revision THA for this study.During the surgery,MC was applied to reconstruct both the acetabular and femoral defects.Harris hip score was used to evaluate hip function while radiographs were taken to estimate bone formation in the defect regions.The average follow-up period was 33.662.4 months.None of the components needed re-revised.Mean Harris hip scores were 42.563.5 before operation,75.264.0 at 10th month and 95.063.6 at the final follow-up.There were no instances of deep infection,severe venous thrombosis or nerve palsy.The present study demonstrated that MC graft can serve as a promising option for revision THA with massive bone deficiency.Meanwhile,extended follow-up is needed to further prove its long-term performance. | Cheng Huang Liwu Qin Wei Yan Xisheng Weng Xiangjie Huang | 2015 | Regenerative Biomaterials2015,2,4: | 12 |
| 3 | Oxaliplatin plus S-1 or capecitabine as neoadjuvant or adjuvant chemotherapy for locally advanced gastric cancer with D2lymphadenectomy: 5-year follow-up results of a phase II-III randomized trial显示文摘Objective: To compare the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NACT) with adjuvant chemotherapy(ACT)using oxaliplatin plus S-1(SOX) or capecitabine(CapeOX) on gastric cancer patients with D2 lymphadenectomy.Methods: This was a two-by-two factorial randomized phase II-III trial, and registered on ISRCTN registry(No. ISRCTN12206108). Locally advanced gastric cancer patients were randomized to neoadjuvant SOX,neoadjuvant CapeOX, adjuvant SOX, or adjuvant CapeOX arms. Primary analysis was performed on an intentionto-treat(ITT) basis using overall survival(OS) as primary endpoint.Results: This trial started in September 2011 and closed in December 2012 with 100 patients enrolled.Treatment completion rate was 56%, 52%, 38% and 30% in the four arms, respectively. NACT group had fewer dropouts due to unacceptable toxicity(P=0.042). Surgical complication rate did not differ by the four groups(P=0.986). No survival significant difference was found comparing NACT with ACT(P=0.664; 5-year-OS: 70% vs.74% respectively), nor between the SOX and CapeOX groups(P=0.252; 5-year-OS: 78% vs. 66% respectively).Subgroup analysis showed SOX significantly improved survival in patients with diffuse type(P=0.048).Conclusions: No significant survival difference was found between NACT and ACT. SOX and CapeOX had good safety and efficacy as neoadjuvant regimens. | 4 | Anatomical variation of infra-pyloric artery origination: A prospective multicenter observational study (IPA-Origin)显示文摘Objective: Infra-pyloric artery(IPA) is an important anatomical landmark in treatment of gastric cancer and is the key vessel for pylorus-preserving gastrectomy and subgroup of infra-pyloric lymph nodes. However, its anatomical variation is not thoroughly understood. Our study aimed to clarify the origination of the IPA.Methods: We did this prospective, multicenter, open-label, observational study at gastric surgery departments of34 hospitals in China. Gastric cancer patients aged 18 years or older and scheduled to undergo elective total or distal gastrectomy were assigned. During the surgery, IPA dissecting and exposing the origination point with photographs or video clips were required. The primary outcome was the origination of the IPA. Analysis of variance, χ~2 tests and Fisher's tests were used to analyze the differences between groups. The study is registered at Clinicaltrials.gov(No. NCT03071237).Results: Between May 8 and July 31, 2017, 429 patients were assigned for the study, and 419(97.7%) patients had the IPA dissected and recorded through photograph or video and were included in the primary outcome analysis. The median age was 62 years old, and 73.7% were male. Among the patients, 78.5% received laparoscopic surgery. Single IPA origination was identified in 398(95.0%) patients, including gastroduodenal artery(GDA) in154(36.8%) patients, anterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery(ASPDA) in 130(31.0%) patients, and right gastroepiploic artery(RGEA) in 114(27.2%) patients. Fifteen(3.6%) patients were identified with multiple IPA and 6(1.4%) patients were identified as IPA absence. The differences in the distribution of surgical approach(P=0.003) and geographic area(P=0.030) were statistically significant. | 9 | Hormone-like activities of Kuntai capsule in the uteri of ovariectomized rats and immature rabbits显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the hormone-like activities of Kuntai capsule(KTC) in the uteri of ovariectomized rats and immature rabbits.METHODS: Following bilateral ovariectomy, rats were randomly divided into six groups including sham group, control group, estradiol valerate group, KTC 0.24, 0.6, and 1.5 g/kg groups. The rats were treated with 0.5% CMC-Na, estradiol valerate and KTC(0.24, 0.6, and 1.5 g/kg), respectively for 28 consecutive days. Then the estrous cycle, uterine changes and pathological changes were examined.Serum levels of estradiol(E2), and progesterone(P4)were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Protein levels of estradiol receptor(ER), progesterone receptor(PR), vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) and nuclear-associated antigen-67(Ki-67) in uterine tissues were detected by western blot. Immature rabbits were estrogen-primed prior to intragastric administration with KTC for 6 d consecutively. Then, the uteri underwent hematoxylin-eosin staining to observe endometrial transformation.RESULTS: Compared with the control group, 0.6and 1.5 g/kg KTC markedly decreased the uterine organ coefficient and endometrial thickness(P <0.05). The serum level of P4 was increased in the KTC 0.6 g/kg group(P < 0.05). There were no significant variations in the serum level of E2 in the KTC groups compared with the control group. ERβ, but not ERα, was markedly upregulated after KTC administration(P < 0.05). Furthermore, 1.5 g/kg KTC significantly decreased the protein level of PRA(P <0.05) and 0.6 g/kg KTC increased the protein level of PRB in the uteri(P < 0.05). VEGF was highly expressed after treatment with 0.24 and 0.6 g/kg KTC,and Ki-67 was markedly reduced in ovariectomized rats treated with 1.5 g/kg KTC. No difference was found in the expression of PCNA. | 11 | Graph Convolutional Network Combined with Semantic Feature Guidance for Deep Clustering显示文摘The performances of semisupervised clustering for unlabeled data are often superior to those of unsupervised learning,which indicates that semantic information attached to clusters can significantly improve feature representation capability.In a graph convolutional network(GCN),each node contains information about itself and its neighbors that is beneficial to common and unique features among samples.Combining these findings,we propose a deep clustering method based on GCN and semantic feature guidance(GFDC) in which a deep convolutional network is used as a feature generator,and a GCN with a softmax layer performs clustering assignment.First,the diversity and amount of input information are enhanced to generate highly useful representations for downstream tasks.Subsequently,the topological graph is constructed to express the spatial relationship of features.For a pair of datasets,feature correspondence constraints are used to regularize clustering loss,and clustering outputs are iteratively optimized.Three external evaluation indicators,i.e.,clustering accuracy,normalized mutual information,and the adjusted Rand index,and an internal indicator,i.e., the Davidson-Bouldin index(DBI),are employed to evaluate clustering performances.Experimental results on eight public datasets show that the GFDC algorithm is significantly better than the majority of competitive clustering methods,i.e.,its clustering accuracy is20% higher than the best clustering method on the United States Postal Service dataset.The GFDC algorithm also has the highest accuracy on the smaller Amazon and Caltech datasets.Moreover,DBI indicates the dispersion of cluster distribution and compactness within the cluster. | Junfen Chen Jie Han Xiangjie Meng Yan Li Haifeng Li | 2022 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2022,27,5: | 1 |

| 14 | Lightweight Si_(3)N_(4)@SiO_(2) ceramic foam for thermal insulation and electromagnetic wave transparency显示文摘Increasing porosity is one of the most direct ways to improve the thermal insulation and dielectric properties of materials.Until now,many wet methods for preparing Si_(3)N_(4) ceramic foams usually face the problems of complex rheology,long period,and expensive cost,and the reported pore sizes of Si_(3)N_(4) ceramic foams are typically micron-grade,resulting in a lack of competitiveness in thermal insulation and wave-transparent applications.In this paper,the Si_(3)N_(4)@SiO_(2) ceramic foams were prepared using an efficient dry-method,which combined three processes of low temperature chemical vapor deposition(LTCVD),template,and isostatic pressing.The method has the advantages of simple operation and short preparation period,and can realize near-net size molding and mass production.In addition,the evolution mechanisms of honeycomb microstructure and composition of Si_(3)N_(4)@SiO_(2) ceramic foam during sintering were studied by chemical reaction thermodynamics.The as-prepared Si_(3)N_(4)@SiO_(2) ceramic foam possesses low density(0.377 g·cm^(-3)),high compressive strength(7.5 MPa),low thermal conductivity(0.0808 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)),and excellent dielectric properties(ε<1.32,tanδ<0.009)in the frequency range of 8-18 GHz,and its maximum working temperature in air can reach up to 1100℃.It will be recommended to be applied in the interlayer of Si_(3)N_(4) ceramic radome to improve its thermal insulation and electromagnetic wave transparency performances. | Zongwei Tong Xiangjie Yan Yuexiang Wang Kexun Li Weihai Ma | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,5: | 0 |

| 18 | Petrology and geochemistry of the Carboniferous cutinite-rich coals from the Hequ area of Shanxi Province, China显示文摘Coal samples taken from the Taiyuan Formation in the Hequ area, China, for this study are typical cutinite-rich coals.The petrology and geochemistry of the samples were analyzed using microscopic examination, proximate and ultimate analysis,rock pyrolysis, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS). The cutinites in Haochuan(HC) coals are predominantly of the thin-walled type, whereas those in the Jingzigou(JZG) coals are predominantly thick-walled. The variable thickness of cutinites in different coals is related to the environment in which the coal-forming plants grew. Compared with typical Ⅲ kerogens, HC and JZG bituminous coals are characterized by high volatile matter yields and hydrogen contents due to the elevated hydrogen-rich cutinite content. Pyrolysis data indicate that these cutinite-rich coals can be expected to generate commercial liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons. Pristane(Pr) and phytane(Ph) are both abundant in the samples, with the Pr/Ph ratios for both the HC and JZG coals being >3.0, indicating moderate maturity and oxic peat depositional conditions. The C>>C>Cnormalized relative abundance of regular steranes is consistent with a dominant contribution from higher plants.Abundant hopanes in the coals also suggest a substantial organic matter input from bacteria, which are common inhabitants of peat and coal. Palynology studies indicate that pteridophytes are likely to be the most common coal-forming plants. A gymnosperm contribution is also indicated by the presence of tetracyclic diterpenes. Massive accumulations of cuticles as cutinite in coal are rare and account for only a small proportion of coals worldwide. However, cutinite-rich coals are found in the northern margin of the North China Craton, in the Taiyuan Formation. The accumulation of cutinite in this area is the result of distinctive peat deposition conditions. | 19 | High-performance flexible organic field effect transistors with print-based nanowires显示文摘Polymer nanowire(NW)organic field-effect transistors(OFETs)integrated on highly aligned large-area flexible substrates are candidate structures for the development of high-performance flexible electronics.This work presents a universal technique,coaxial focused electrohydrodynamic jet(CFEJ)printing technology,to fabricate highly aligned 90-nm-diameter polymer arrays.This method allows for the preparation of uniformly shaped and precisely positioned nanowires directly on flexible substrates without transfer,thus ensuring their electrical properties.Using indacenodithiophene-co-benzothiadiazole(IDT-BT)and poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-co-benzothiadiazole)(F8-BT)as example materials,5 cm^(2) arrays were prepared with only minute size variations,which is extremely difficult to do using previously reported methods.According to 2D-GIXRD analysis,the molecules inside the nanowires mainly adopted face-onπ-stacking crystallite arrangements.This is quite different from the mixed arrangement of thin films.Nanowire-based OFETs exhibited a high average hole mobility of 1.1 cm^(2) V^(−1) s^(−1) and good device uniformity,indicating the applicability of CFEJ printing as a potential batch manufacturing and integration process for high-performance,scalable polymer nanowire-based OFET circuits.This technique can be used to fabricate various polymer arrays,enabling the use of organic polymer semiconductors in large-area,high-performance electronic devices and providing a new path for the fabrication of flexible displays and wearable electronics in the future. | Liangkun Lu Dazhi Wang Changchang Pu Yanyan Cao Yikang Li Pengfei Xu Xiangji Chen Chang Liu Shiwen Liang Liujia Suo Yan Cui Zhiyuan Zhao Yunlong Guo Junsheng Liang Yunqi Liu | 2023 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,3: | 0 |
| 20 | Abivertinib inhibits megakaryocyte differentiation and platelet biogenesis显示文摘Abivertinib,a third-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitor,is originally designed to target epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)-activating mutations.Previous studies have shown that abivertinib has promising antitumor activity and a well-tolerated safety profile in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer.However,abivertinib also exhibited high inhibitory activity against Bruton’s tyrosine kinase and Janus kinase 3.Given that these kinases play some roles in the progression of megakaryopoiesis,we speculate that abivertinib can affect megakaryocyte(MK)differentiation and platelet biogenesis.We treated cord blood CD34+hematopoietic stem cells,Meg-01 cells,and C57BL/6 mice with abivertinib and observed megakaryopoiesis to determine the biological effect of abivertinib on MK differentiation and platelet biogenesis.Our in vitro results showed that abivertinib impaired the CFU-MK formation,proliferation of CD34+HSC-derived MK progenitor cells,and differentiation and functions of MKs and inhibited Meg-01-derived MK differentiation.These results suggested that megakaryopoiesis was inhibited by abivertinib.We also demonstrated in vivo that abivertinib decreased the number of MKs in bone marrow and platelet counts in mice,which suggested that thrombopoiesis was also inhibited.Thus,these preclinical data collectively suggested that abivertinib could inhibit MK differentiation and platelet biogenesis and might be an agent for thrombocythemia. | Jiansong Huang Xin Huang Yang Li Xia Li Jinghan Wang Fenglin Li Xiao Yan Huanping Wang Yungui Wang Xiangjie Lin Jifang Tu Daqiang He Wenle Ye Min Yang Jie Jin | 2022 | Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,3: | 0 |
