| 1 | Study on the velocity structure of the crust in Southwest Yunnan of the north-south seismic belt—Results from the Menghai-Gengma-Lushui deep seismic sounding profile显示文摘Southwest Yunnan, located in the southern segment of the north-south seismic belt, is one of the regions with strong tectonic movement and seismic activity in China. Study on the characteristics of tectonic setting and deep geophysical field in the region is an important issue in basic science. In 2013, we conducted a 600-km-long Menghai-Gengma-Lushui profile of deep seismic wide-angle reflection/refraction and high-resolution seismic refraction in Southwest Yunnan. In this paper, we use 6 groups of clear intracrustal P-wave phases picked from the seismic record sections of 11 shots to build a velocity structure model of basement and 2D crustal P-wave of the region by using finite difference inversion and ray travel time forward fitting technology. The results show that, from south to north, the crust gradually thickens along the profile and its basement shows a significant lateral heterogeneity. In the vicinity of the Nanting River fault, the basement structure shows the character of alternate depressions and uplifts, and the shallowest basement is about 1.0 km. In the vicinity of Tengchong and Lancang, the basement is about 5.0 km deep. The velocity of the middle and lower crust in the region generally increases with the increasing of depth. At the block boundary and beneath the fault tectonic belt, the velocity contours show apparent irregularity and the P-wave velocity changes sharply. In this region, the Moho gradually deepens from south to north with relatively large lateral undulations. The shallowest point of the Moho is located near Menghai at a depth of about 32.0 km. The deepest point of the Moho is located near Tengchong at a depth of about 40.5 km. Between Gengma and Yongde, the Moho shows significantly fast uplifting and depressing with an amplitude of about 4.0 km. Beneath the Nanting River fault, Longling-Ruili fault, Dayingjiang fault and Tengchong volcano, the basement velocity structure, 2D crustal P-wave velocity structure, distribution of average profile velocity and intracrustal interface spreading also show significant changes from the basement to the top of the Moho, indicating that the crustal velocity and medium physical properties beneath the fault tectonic belt are apparently different from the crustal materials on its both sides, which suggests that these faults should be in a certain scale and may extend to the lower crust or the top of the upper mantle. The earthquakes in the region mainly occurred at a depth of 10–20 km, and the seismic activity is related to the intracrustal medium velocity difference and fault belt distribution. | 3 | Laser joining of CFRTP to titanium alloy via laser surface texturing显示文摘Grid pattern was textured on Ti-6 Al-4 V alloy(TC4)substrate surface by nanosecond laser system.Laser joining of carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite(CFRTP)to TC4 joints were performed,and the effect of texture grid depth was investigated.The contact angle of molten CFRTP on textured TC4 surface was measured and the tensile-shear force was tested.The fracture surface and interface morphology were observed.The results indicated that the wettability of molten CFRTP on TC4 surface improved remarkably after laser textured TC4.Shear force of CFRTP/TC4 joints was increased by 156%after laser textured TC4 surface.When the depth of grid was deeper than 100μm,contact angle increased and incomplete filling of molten CFRTP in grid occurred,the shear force thus decreased gradually.Resin-carbon fibers mixture was adhered on the fracture surface of TC4,and the variation tendency of adhesion ratio was consistent with that of shear force.TC4 matrix was exfoliated from substrate and adhered at the fracture surface of CFRTP,indicating stronger mechanical interlocking occurred at the joining interface after laser textured TC4 surface.Beside mechanical interlocking,compound layer consisted of CTi_(0.42)V_(1.58)carburization phase was also confirmed at interface,suggesting that chemical bonding also occurred at the joining interface. | Caiwang TAN Jianhui SU Ziwei FENG Yifan LIU Bo CHEN Xiaoguo SONG | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,5: | 11 |
| 4 | Brazing of C/C composite and Ti-6Al-4V with graphene strengthened AgCuTi filler:Effects of graphene on wettability,microstructure and mechanical properties显示文摘Graphene nanosheets(GNSs) strengthened AgCuTi composite filler(AgCuTi_G) was used to braze C/C composite and Ti-6Al-4V. The effects of GNSs on the wettability of AgCuTi_G filler on the C/C composite surface and the interfacial microstructure and mechanical properties of brazed joints were investigated. The results indicate that the addition of GNSs reduced the wettability of AgCuTi_G. The interfacial microstructure of brazed joints evolved with the addition of GNSs, where Ti_3Cu_4 and TiCu_4 were converted to TiCu and the thickness of the reaction layer adjacent to the base material decreased. The maximum shear strength of joints brazed at 0.3 wt% GNSs was 23.3 MPa(880℃/10 min). Further adding GNSs deteriorated the shear strength of the joints. | 5 | Vacuum brazing of GH99 superalloy using graphene reinforced BNi-2 composite filler显示文摘A novel graphene reinforced BNi-2 composite filler was developed for brazing GH99 superalloy. The interfacial microstructure of brazed joints was analyzed by field emission scanning electron microscope and a transmission electron microscope. The effects of graphene addition on the microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of brazed joints were investigated, and the strengthening mechanism of graphene was analyzed. The results revealed that due to the addition of graphene, M23(C,B)6 compounds were synthesized in the solid solution and brittle boride precipitates near the brazing seam decreased.Graphene was effective in retarding solute atoms diffusion thus impeding the precipitation of borides.Furthermore, the low coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE) of graphene was conducive to relieve stress concentration of the brazed joints during the cooling process. The shear strengths of brazed joints were significantly improved by exerting the strengthening effect of graphene. | 7 | Joints of continuous carbon fiber reinforced lithium aluminosilicate glass ceramics matrix composites to Ti60 alloy brazed using Ti-Zr-Ni-Cu active alloy显示文摘Continuous carbon fiber reinforced lithium aluminosilicate glass ceramics matrix composites(C_f/LAS composites) are joined to Ti60 alloy vacuum brazed using Ti-Zr-Ni-Cu brazing alloy. The effects of the brazing temperature on the interfacial microstructure and mechanical properties of brazed joints are investigated in details. The interfacial microstructure varies apparently with an increase of the brazing temperature. The thicknesses of the banded Ti solid solution(Ti(s, s)) and the reactive layer between Cf/LAS composites and the interlayer grow gradually. The mechanical properties of brazed joints increase firstly and then decrease with an increasing temperature. In addition, a joint that is brazed at 980 °C for 10 min shows the highest shear strength of$38.13 MPa. At the same time, the fracture paths of brazed joints also change as the temperature increases. When the brazing temperature is 950 °C, the fracture position is in the TiC + ZrC +Ti_2O + ZrSi_2+ Ti_5Si_3 layer on the composite side. When the brazing temperature is 980 °C, the fracture position is on the side of the braze seam(Ti, Zr)2(Ni, Cu), Ti_2O + ZrSi_2+ Ti_5Si_3 layer,and carbon fiber in the composite material. | 8 | Crustal P-wave velocity structure in the northeastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and insights into crustal deformation显示文摘The transitional area between the northeastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, Ordos Block and Alxa Block,also being the northern segment of the North-South Seismic Belt, is characterized by considerably high seismicity level and high risk of strong earthquakes. In view of the special tectonic environment and deep tectonic setting in this area, this study used two seismic wide-angle reflection/refraction cross profiles for double constraining, so as to more reliably obtain the fine-scale velocity structure characteristics in both the shallow and deep crust of individual blocks and their boundaries in the study area,and further discuss the seismogenic environment in seismic zones with strong historical earthquakes. In this paper, the P-wave data from the two profiles are processed and interpreted, and two-dimensional crustal velocity structure models along the two profiles are constructed by travel time forward modeling. The results show that there are great differences in velocity structure,shape of intra-crustal interfaces and crustal thickness among different blocks sampled by the two seismic profiles. The crustal thickness along the Lanzhou-Huianbu-Yulin seismic sounding profile(L1) increases from ~43 km in the western margin of Ordos Block to ~56 km in the Qilian Block to the west. In the Ordos Block, the velocity contours vary gently, and the average velocity of the crust is about 6.30 km s-1; On the other hand, the velocity structures in the crust of the Qilian Block and the arclike tectonic zone vary dramatically, and the average crustal velocities in these areas are about 0.10 km s-1 lower than that of the Ordos Block. In addition, discontinuous low-velocity bodies(LVZ1 and LVZ2) are identified in the crust of the Qilian Block and the arc-like tectonic zone, the velocity of which is 0.10–0.20 km s-1 lower than that of the surroundings. The average crustal thickness of the Ordos Block is consistently estimated to be around 43 km along both Profile L2(Tongchuan-Huianbu-Alashan left banner seismic sounding profile) and Profile L1. In contrast to the gently varying intra-crustal interfaces and velocity contours in the Ordos Block along Profile L1, which is a typical structure characteristic of stable cratons, the crustal structure in the Ordos Block along Profile L2 exhibits rather complex variations. This indicates the presence of significant structural differences in the crust within the Ordos Block. The crustal structure of the Helan Mountain Qilian Block and the Yinchuan Basin is featured by 'uplift and depression' undulations, showing the characteristics of localized compressional deformation.Moreover, there are low-velocity zones with alternative high and low velocities in the middle and lower crust beneath the Helan Mountain, where the velocity is about 0.15–0.25 km s-1 lower than that of the surrounding areas. The crustal thickness of the Alxa Block is about 49 km, and the velocity contours in the upper and middle-lower crust of the block vary significantly. The complex crustal velocity structure images along the two seismic sounding profiles L1 and L2 reveal considerable structural differences among different tectonic blocks, their coupling relationships and velocity structural features in the seismic zones where strong historical earthquakes occurred. | 9 | Fabrication of magnetic multi-template molecularly imprinted polymer composite for the selective and efficient removal of tetracyclines from water显示文摘Antibiotic contamination of the water environment has attracted much attention from researchers because of their potential hazards to humans and ecosystems.In this study,a multi-template molecularly imprinted polymer(MIP)modified mesoporous silica coated magnetic graphene oxide(MGO@MS@MIP)was prepared by the surface imprinting method via a sol-gel process and was used for the selective,efficient and simultaneous removal of tetracyclines(TCs),including doxycycline(DC),tetracycline(TC),chlorotetracycline(CTC)and oxytetracycline(OTC)from water.The synthesized MIP composite was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,transmission electron microscope and thermogravimetric analysis.The adsorption properties of MGO@MS@MIP for these TCs were characterized through adsorption kinetics,isotherms and selectivity tests.The MIP composite revealed larger adsorption quantities,excellent selectivity and rapid kinetics for these four tetracyclines.The adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic and followed the Freundlich isotherm model and the pseudo-second-order kinetic model.The MGO@MS@MIP could specifically recognize DC,TC,CTC and OTC in the presence of some chemical analogs.In addition,the sorption capacity of the MIP composite did not decrease significantly after repeated application for at least five cycles.Thus,the prepared magnetic MIP composite has great potential to contribute to the effective separation and removal of tetracyclines from water. | Guolong Zeng Yiyang Liu Xiaoguo Ma Yinming Fan | 2021 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,5: | 3 |

| 11 | Destruction of the Northern Margin of the North China Craton in Mid-Late Triassic: Evidence from Asthenosphere-derived Mafic Enclaves in the Jiefangyingzi Granitic Pluton from the Chifeng Area, Southern Inner Mongolia显示文摘The petrology, geochronology and geochemistry of the mafic enclaves in the Mid-Late Triassic Jiefangyingzi pluton from Chifeng area, southern Inner Mongolia, in China are studied to reveal their petrogenetic relationship with the host pluton. Furthermore, the coeval magmatic assemblage and its petrogenesis on the northern margin of the North China craton(NCC) are studied synthetically to elucidate their tectonic setting and the implications for the destruction of the NCC. Zircon U-Pb dating reveals that the mafic enclaves formed at 230.4 ± 2.2 Ma, which is similar to the age of the host pluton. The most basic mafic enclaves belong to weak alkaline rocks, and they display rare earth element(REE) and trace element normalized patterns and trace element compositions similar to those of ocean island basalt(OIB). In addition, they have positive εNd(t) values(+3.84 to +4.94) similar to those of the Cenozoic basalts on the northern margin of the NCC. All of these geochemical characteristics suggest that the basic mafic rocks originated from the asthenosphere. Petrological and geochemical studies suggest that the Jiefangyingzi pluton and the intermediate mafic enclaves were formed by the mixing of the asthenosphere-derived and crust-derived magmas in different degrees. The Mid-Late Triassic magmatic rocks on the northern margin of the NCC could be classified into three assemblages according to their geochemical compositions: alkaline series, weak alkaline–sub-alkaline series and sub-alkaline series rocks. Petrogenetic analyses suggest that the upwelling of the asthenosphere played an important role in the formation of these Mid-Late Triassic magmatic rocks. | 12 | Controllable generation of large-scale highly regular gratings on Si films显示文摘The application of femtosecond laser-induced periodic surface texturing has significant potential in medicine,optics,tribology,and biology,among other areas.However,when irradiated by a large intense laser spot,the periodic structures usually exhibit an uncontrollable regularity,forming bifurcated patterns,thus limiting their widespread application.Irregularity originates from numerous independent branching seeds.The usual solution to this problem is to utilize the quasi-direct laser writing technique,that is,by limiting the laser beam size(diameter of<10 wavelengths)and scanning the beam or samples using 2D translation stages.Herein,we demonstrate an optical localization-induced nonlinear competition mechanism to solve this problem,which occurs at a fluence nearly one order of magnitude below the ablation threshold.Owing to the low intrinsic absorption of silicon and ultralow applied fluence,this mechanism ensures the self-selection of a single seed to initiate an array of bifurcated-free gratings under stationary irradiation with a large laser spot(diameter>100 wavelengths).Surprisingly,some unconventional complex patterns,such as radial,annular,and spiral gratings,can also be easily produced by structured light fields with unprecedented regularity.Their diameters reach up to>500μm.Moreover,we can artificially control the initial seeding structure to further improve the regularity of the gratings,defined by dispersion in the ripple orientation angle in their 2D Fourier transform.As a result,the regularity in our experiments produced by a large laser spot is even higher than that scanned by a tiny beam.Controllable and highly regular ripples are beneficial to the structural coloring effects because they arise from the light diffraction by subwavelength gratings. | Jiao Geng Xiaoguo Fang Lei Zhang Guangnan Yao Liye Xu Fengjiang Liu Weiwei Tang Liping Shi Min Qiu | 2021 | Light(Advanced Manufacturing)2021,2,3: | 2 |
| 13 | In-situ synthesis of TiO_2 nanostructures on Ti foil for enhanced and stable photocatalytic performance显示文摘TiO_2 nanostructures with strong interfacial adhesion and diverse morphologies have been in-situ grown on Ti foil substrate through a multiple-step method based on conventional plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO) technology, hydrothermal reaction and ion exchange process. The PEO process is critical to the formation of TiO_2 seeding layer for the nucleation of Na_2Ti_3O_7 and H_2Ti_3O_7 mediates that are strongly attached to the Ti foil. An ion exchange reaction can finally lead to the formation of H_2Ti_3O_7 nanostructures with diverse morphologies and the calcination process can turn the H_2Ti_3O_7 nanostructures into TiO_2 nanostructures with enhanced crystallinity. The morphology of the TiO_2 nanostructures including nanoparticles(NP), nanowhiskers(NWK), nanowires(NW) and nanosheets(NS) can be easily tailored by controlling the NaOH concentration and reaction time during hydrothermal process. The morphology, composition and optical properties of TiO_2 photocatalysts were analyzed using scanning electron microscope(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), photoluminescence(PL) spectroscopy and UV–vis absorption spectrum. Photocatalytic tests indicate that the TiO_2 nanosheets calcined at 500?C show good crystallization and the best capability of decomposing organic pollutants. The decoration of Ag cocatalyst can further improve the photocatalytic performance of the TiO_2 nanosheets as a result of the enhanced charger separation efficiency. | 16 | Highly efficient flexible perovskite solar cells with vacuum-assisted low-temperature annealed SnO2 electron transport layer显示文摘The demand for lightweight, flexible, and high-performance portable power sources urgently requires high-efficiency and stable flexible solar cells. In the case of perovskite solar cells(PSCs), most of the common electron transport layer(ETL) needs to be annealed for improving the optoelectronic properties,while conventional flexible substrates could barely stand the high temperature. Herein, a vacuumassisted annealing SnO_(2) ETL at low temperature(100℃) is utilized in flexible PSCs and achieved high efficiency of 20.14%. Meanwhile, the open-circuit voltage(V_(oc)) increases from 1.07 V to 1.14 V. The flexible PSCs also show robust bending stability with 86.8% of the initial efficiency is retained after 1000 bending cycles at a bending radius of 5 mm. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), atomic force microscopy(AFM), and contact angle measurements show that the density of oxygen vacancies, the surface roughness of the SnO_(2) layer, and film hydrophobicity are significantly increased, respectively. These improvements could be due to the oxygen-deficient environment in a vacuum chamber, and the rapid evaporation of solvents.
