1The progress and perspective of strategies to improve tumor penetration of nanomedicines显示文摘Tumor penetration is important for effectively tumor targeting drug delivery.Recently,many researches are published to overcome the barriers that restrict tumor penetration and improve drug delivery efficiency.In the mini review,we first analyzed the barriers influence the tumor penetration,including tumor microenvironment barriers,nanoparticle properties,and interaction barriers between tumor and nanoparticles.To overcome the barrier,several strategies are developed,including modulating tumor microenvironment,changing particle size,transcytosis enabled tumor penetration,cell penetrating peptide modification and overcoming binding site barrier,which could effectively improve tumor penetration,and finally enhance tumor treatment outcome.Jiang Hu Xinwei Yuan Fei Wang Huile Gao Xilin Liu Wei Zhang 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,4:4
2Single or combined effects of dietary arabinoxylan-oligosaccharide and inulin on growth performance,gut microbiota,and immune response in Pacific white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei显示文摘The single and synergistic effects of dietary arabinoxylan-oligosaccharide(AXOS)and inulin at different doses(2,4,and 8 mg/g diet)on survival,growth performance,gut microbiota,and immune response in Pacific white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei were assessed.Singular application of either inulin or AXOS at doses of 4 mg/g diet showed the most stimulatory effects on the growth rate and gene expression levels of chitinase,cathepsin L,chymotrypsin,and extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK)in each single prebiotic feeding trial.Compared with single prebiotic treatments,simultaneous application of AXOS and inulin at 4 mg/g diet enhanced remarkably the growth parameters of shrimp and the expression of related genes(chitinase,cathepsin L,chymotrypsin,ERK,myeloid differentiation factor 88,and phenoloxidase)after 8-week feeding(P<0.05).Additionally,gut microbiota analysis indicated the dietary supplementation with combined prebiotics increased significantly the bacterial community richness and relative abundance of Bacillus Pseudomonas Bacteriovorax,and Lactobacillus,and reduced the abundance of Vibrio Rhodococcus,and Photobacterium in the digestive tract of L vannamei.Compared with the single prebiotic treatment and the control,combined prebiotics supplementation boosted notably the survival rate and expression levels of immune-related genes in shrimp infected with Vibrio alginolyticus or white spot syndrome virus.Therefore,simultaneous application of AXOS and inulin shall have a great potential of dietary supplement in the culture of L.vannamei.Yun LI Wei YUAN Yi ZHANG Hong LIU Xilin DAI 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,2:3

5Eco-landscape Construction of Lvyuan Leisure Agricultural Industry Park in Ganzhou City of Jiangxi Province, China显示文摘Basic connotations of researches on eco-landscape construction of leisure agricultural industry parks were elaborated, and eco-landscape construction of Lvyuan Leisure Agricultural Industry Park in Ganzhou City was taken for example to analyze problems in the development of eco-landscapes in leisure agricultural industry parks. In view of these problems, it was proposed that construction of agricultural landscapes for the leisure agricultural industry parks should be combined with demonstration of cultures, holiday resort, and farming experience, and more efforts should be devoted in ecological maintenance, utilization of agricultural spaces, creation of cultural and leisure spaces. Moreover, to create agricultural eco-corridors, garden functions should be combined with the protection of ecosystems. Spatial connection of agricultural patches should be enhanced to form eco-corridor of the parks and meet the needs of production. 8Evaluating Tislelizumab, Lenvatinib, and FOLFOX4-HAIC as a Conversion Therapy for Unresectable Hepatocellular Carcinoma显示文摘Background and aims:Conversion therapy downstages tumors and renders patients with unresectable hepatocel-lular carcinoma(HCC)eligible for radical resection.This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tislelizumab plus lenvatinib and hepatic artery infusion chemotherapy with oxaliplatin,fluorouracil,and leuco-vorin(FOLFOX4-HAIC)as a first-line conversion therapy.Methods:Clinical data from HCC patients who were treated with the triple therapy between April 2021 and April 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.The primary outcome included objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),conversion resection rate(CRR),and treatment-related adverse events(TRAEs).Results:A total of 18 patients completed conversion therapy assessment,which ended on March 27,2023.The patients had a median age of 55.5(37–72)years,and 94.4%were male.According to mRECIST,tumor shrinkage was observed in all patients,with an ORR of 94.4%(17/18),a DCR of 94.4%(17/18),and a median time to response of 1.4(0.7–3.0)months.Successful conversion was observed in 61.1%(11/18)of patients(mRECIST).The CRR and pathological complete response were 38.9%(7/18)and 57.1%(4/7),respectively.The median progression-free survival(PFS)was 17.8 months,while median overall survival was not reached.The 6-and 9-month PFS rates were 83.3%and 66.7%,respectively.The most common TRAE(16/18 patients,88.9%)was an increase in aspartate aminotransferase levels.Conclusion:Tislelizumab combined with lenvatinib and FOLFOX4-HAIC achieved a high conversion rate and acceptable toxicity in patients with unresectable HCC,suggesting that this combination may represent a new conversion strategy for this population.Kai Tan Xiaojun He Haoran Yuan Shoujie Zhao Chenyu Gong Yaoyao Zhao Haiyan Nan Li Zang Zhonghua Luo Xilin Du 2023iLIVER2023,2,3:0
9Solution-processed wafer-scale nanoassembly of conducting polymers enables selective ultratrace nerve agent detection at low power显示文摘There is a great interest in developing microelectronic devices based on nanostructured conducting polymers that can selectively electro-couple analytes at high sensitivity and low power.Nanostructured conducting polymers have emerged as promising candidates for this technology due to their excellent stability with low redox potential,high conductivity,and selectivity endowed by chemical functionalization.However,it remains challenging to develop cost-effective and large-scale assembly approaches for functionalized conducting polymers in the practical fabrication of electronic devices.Here,we reported a straightforward waferscale assembly of nanostructured hexafluoroisopropanol functionalized poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT-HFIP)on smooth substrates.This approach is template-free,solution-processed,and adaptable to conductive and nonconductive substrates.By this approach,the nanostructured PEDOT-HFIPs could be easily integrated onto interdigitated electrodes with intimate ohmic contact.At the optimized space-to-volume ratio,we demonstrated a low-power,sensitive,and selective nerve agent sensing technology using this platform by detecting sarin vapor with a limit of detection(LOD)of 10 ppb and signal strength of 400 times the water interference at the same concentration,offering significant advantages over existing similar technologies.We envision that its easy scale-up,micro size,small power consumption,and combination of high sensitivity and selectivity make it attractive for various wearable platforms.Bin Luo Jianan Weng Zhi Geng Qichao Pan Xilin Pei Yong He Chuanzhi Chen Hongxing Zhang Renbo Wei Yupeng Yuan Jin Yang Jinyi Ma Zhengwei You Bo Zhu 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0
10Rare earth alloy nanomaterials in electrocatalysis显示文摘With the rapid development of society and economy, the excessive consumption of fossil energy has led to the global energy and environment crisis. In order to explore the sustainable development of new energy, research based on electrocatalysis has attracted extensive attention in the academic circle. The main challenge in this field is to develop nano-catalysts with excellent electrocatalytic activity and selectivity for target products. The state of the active site in catalyst plays a decisive role in the activity and selectivity of the reaction. In order to design efficient and excellent catalysts, it is an effective means to adjust the electronic structure of catalysts. Electronic effects are also called ligand effects. By alloying with rare earth(RE) elements, electrons can be redistributed between RE elements and transition metal elements, achieving accurate design of the electronic structure of the active site in the alloy. Because of the unique electronic structure of RE, it has been paid attention in the field of catalysis. The outermost shell structure of RE elements is basically the same as that of the lower shell, except that the number of electrons in the 4f orbital is different, but the energy level is similar, so their properties are very similar. When RE elements form compounds, both the f electrons in the outermost shell and the d electrons in the lower outer shell can participate in bonding. In addition, part of the 4f electrons in the third outer shell can also participate in bonding.In order to improve the performance of metal catalysts, alloying provides an effective method to design advanced functional materials. RE alloys can integrate the unique electronic structure and catalytic behavior of RE elements into metal materials, which not only provides an opportunity to adjust the electronic structure and catalytic activity of the active component, but also enhances the structural stability of the alloy and is expected to significantly improve the catalytic performance of the catalyst. From the perspective of electronic and catalytic activity, RE elements have unique electronic configuration and lanthanide shrinkage effect. Alloying with RE elements will make the alloy have more abundant electronic structure, activity, and spatial arrangement, effectively adjusting the reaction kinetics of the electrochemical process of the catalyst. In this paper, the composition,structure, synthesis of RE alloys and their applications in the field of electrocatalysis are summarized, including the hydrogen evolution reaction, the oxygen evolution reaction, the oxygen reduction reaction, the methanol oxidation reaction, the ethanol oxidation reaction, and other catalytic reactions. At the same time, the present challenges of RE alloy electrocatalytic materials are summarized and their future development direction is pointed out. In the field of electrocatalysis, the cost of catalyst is too high and the stability is not strong. 13Cerium-based nanomaterials for photo/electrocatalysis显示文摘The localization and incomplete filling of 4f electrons endow cerium(Ce)with the great potential in electrocatalysis and photocatalysis.The unique 5d empty orbital of Ce elements can be used as a hydrogen“trap”site,which is conducive to the recombination of hydrogen ions or atoms and effectively promotes the desorption of hydrogen molecules in electrocatalysis.Meanwhile,due to the stable crystal structure,excellent oxygen mobility,and good optical properties,Ce-based nanomaterials are considered as one of the most desirable photocatalytic catalysts and widely used in atmospheric conditions.Therefore,cerium-based nanomaterials have considerable application prospects in photocatalysis and electrocatalysis.In this review,we summarize the preparation methods of Ce-based nanomaterials,and discuss the application of Ce-based nanomaterials in electrocatalysis and photocatalysis.Among them,electrocatalysis applications include the following:oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),oxygen evolution reaction(OER),CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR),and other electrocatalysis,and photocatalysis applications include HER,CO_(2)RR,photodegradation,and other photocatalysis.Through the summary of present progress in the application of Ce-based nanomaterials in electrocatalytic and photocatalytic reaction,this review provides a reasonable prospect on the Ce-based nanomaterials in electrocatalysis and photocatalysis.Ge Li Ping Wang Miao He Xilin Yuan Lulin Tang Zhenxing Li 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,8:0
14Effect of commercial AB_5 alloy addition on the electrochemical properties of Ml-Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloys显示文摘A commercial AB5 hydrogen storage alloy was used as an additive to improve the electrochemical properties of Ml-Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloys. The effect of AB5 alloy addition on the phase structure, charge/discharge characteristics, and electrochemical kinetics of Ml0.90Mg0.10Ni3.08Mn0.13Co0.63Al0.14 alloy was investigated. The maximum discharge capacity of Ml0.90Mg0.10Ni3.08Mn0.13Co0.63Al0.14 + 4 wt.% AB5 electrode reaches 406 mAh/g. The anodic polarization, cyclic voltammetry, and potential step discharge experiments show that the elec-trochemical kinetics of the electrode with additives was promoted, with the LaNi5 phase of AB5 alloy acting as electro-catalytic sites in the electrode alloy. The high-rate dischargeability of Ml0.90Mg0.10Ni3.08Mn0.13Co0.63Al0.14 + 4 wt.% AB5 alloy electrode at 1100 mA/g reaches 60.9%, which is 9.4% higher than that of Ml0.90Mg0.10Ni3.08Mn0.13Co0.63Al0.14 alloy electrode.
