1Recent Development of SOFC Metallic Interconnect显示文摘Interest in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) stems from their higher efficiencies and lower levels of emitted pollutants, compared to traditional power production methods. Interconnects are a critical part in SOFC stacks, which connect cells in series electrically, and also separate air or oxygen at the cathode side from fuel at the anode side. Therefore, the requirements of interconnects are the most demanding, i.e., to maintain high electrical conductivity, good stability in both reducing and oxidizing atmospheres, and close coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) match and good compatibility with other SOFC ceramic components. 2Origin and phylogenetic analysis of Tibetan Mastiff based on the mitochondrial DNA sequence显示文摘At present,the Tibetan Mastiff is the oldest and most ferocious dog in the world. However,the origin of the Tibetan Mastiff and its phylogenetic relationship with other large breed dogs such as Saint Bernard are unclear. In this study,the primers were designed accord-ing to the mitochondrial genome sequence of the domestic dog,and the 2,525 bp mitochondrial sequence,containing the whole sequence of Cytochrome b,tRNA-Thr,tRNA-Pro,and control region of the Tibetan Mastiff,was obtained. Using grey wolves and coyotes as out-groups,the Tibetan Mastiff and 12 breeds of domestic dogs were analyzed in phylogenesis. Tibetan Mastiff,domestic dog breeds,and grey wolves were clustered into a group and coyotes were clustered in a group separately. This indicated that the Tibetan Mastiff and the other domestic dogs originated from the grey wolf,and the Tibetan Mastiff belonged to Carnivora,Canidae,Canis,Canis lupus,Canis lupus familiaris on the animal taxonomy. In domestic dogs,the middle and small breed dogs were clustered at first; German Sheepdog,Swedish Elkhound,and Black Russian Terrier were clustered into one group,and the Tibetan Mastiff,Old English Sheepdog,Leonberger,and Saint Bernard were clustered in another group. This confirmed the viewpoint that many of the famous large breed dogs worldwide such as Saint Bernard possibly had the blood lineage of the Tibetan Mastiff,based on the molecular data. 3Comparison of basic features and origins of oolitic shoal reservoirs between carbonate platform interior and platform margin locations in the Lower Triassic Feixianguan Formation of the Sichuan Basin,southwest China显示文摘The oolitic shoal reservoirs of the Lower Triassic Feixianguan Formation carbonates in the Sichuan Basin of southwest China are an important target for gas exploration in the basin.Their occurrence,like other cases worldwide,can be divided into two locations in general,i.e.,platform interior and platform margin locations.Their differences of reservoir features and origins,however,have not been investigated comprehensively due to different exploration degrees.This issue is addressed in this paper,to provide basic data and information for the basin's hydrocarbon exploration and for the study of carbonate platform sedimentology and reservoir geology worldwide.We compared the features of these two types of reservoirs in detail,including the depositional and diagenetic features,pore types and petrophysical features.Based on the comparison,the origin of the reservoirs was further discussed.It is shown that the reservoirs in platform interior and platform margin locations differ significantly.The interior carbonates were deposited in moderate to high energy settings and the dominant lithologic type was limestone,which was weakly compacted and intensely cemented and has undergone meteoric dissolution.Pore types include intragranular dissolution and moldic pores,with low porosities(<6%) and low permeabilities(<0.1 mD).By contrast,the platform margin carbonates were deposited in relatively high energy settings and mainly consisted of dolostones with some limestones.The rocks were strongly compacted but incompletely cemented.As a result,some primary intergranular pores were preserved.Both meteoric solution and burial solution have taken place.There are various types of pore spaces including intergranular and intercrystalline solution pores and residual intergranular pores.This type of reservoir generally has better petrophysical properties(>9% porosity and >0.1 mD permeability) and pore-throat structures than the interior reservoirs.These differences were influenced by both primary depositional features and secondary diagenesis.For the interior carbonate reservoirs,early meteoric dissolution,weak compaction and strong cementation are important controlling factors.By contrast,the factors controlling the formation of the margin carbonate reservoirs mainly include dolomitization,preservation of primary pores and burial dissolution.Tan Xiucheng Zhao Luzi Luo Bing Jiang Xingfu Cao Jian Liu Hong Li Ling Wu Xingbo Nie Yong 2012Petroleum Science2012,9,4:9

5A review on molten sulfate salts induced hot corrosion显示文摘Hot corrosion has been extensively observed in various high temperature applications,which might cause large economic losses.To deepen the insight and understanding of hot corrosion,herein,we provide a detailed discussion on hot corrosion induced by molten sulfate salt,in which Na_(2)SO_(4)is the main chemical reactant.The hot corrosion is triggered and sustained by the negative solubility gradient of protective oxide from the oxide/salt interface to salt/gas interface.In this work,we reviewed several key factors,including temperature,gas composition,molten salt composition,alloy element and external stress,influencing the hot corrosion of alloy beneath the molten salt.The application of anti-corrosion coating seems to be the most effective and commercial mothed to mitigate hot corrosion.Therefore,the progress of the development of effective coatings,e.g.,Ni-Cr coatings,aluminide coatings,silicide coatings and MCrAlY(X)coatings,has also been summarized.Shanshan Hu Harry Finkle Xingbo Liu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,31:7
6The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. 8Synchrotron radiation X-ray powder diffraction techniques applied in hydrogen storage materials--A review显示文摘Synchrotron radiation is an advanced collimated light source with high intensity. It has particular advantages in structural characterization of materials on the atomic or molecular scale. Synchrotron radiation X-ray powder diffraction(SR-XRPD) has been successfully exploited to various areas of hydrogen storage materials. In the paper, we will give a brief introduction on hydrogen storage materials, X-ray powder diffraction(XRPD), and synchrotron radiation light source. The applications of ex situ and in situ time-resolved SR-XRPD in hydrogen storage materials, are reviewed in detail. 9Removal of roosters alters the domestic phenotype and microbial and genetic profile of hens显示文摘Hens are raised apart from roosters in modern poultry production, a substantial change from their natural social structure. We compared productivity, injuries, behavior, physiology, microbiome and transcriptome of hens housed with(R+) or without(R–)roosters to quantify the effects of this change in social structure. Hens were raised free-range from 70 to 280 days when 30 birds per treatment were assigned to battery cages until Day 315(R+C vs. R–C), while 30 birds per treatment remained in free-range pens(R+F vs. R–F). Response to a novel environment and object, behavioral time budgets, cecum microbiome, blood composition and transcriptomic sequencing of thigh muscle and spleen were analyzed. Hens housed without roosters showed better survival, consumed less food, produced more eggs and had better feed conversion. R+F hens clustered around the rooster and were less mobile in the novel environment and object tests. R+F hens displayed the richest microbiome, and the presence of roosters resulted in differentially expressed genes related to muscle development, cellular processes, environmental information processing and immune function. 11ZIF-7@carbon composites as multifunctional interlayer for rapid and durable Li-S performance显示文摘The notorious'shuttle effect'of polysulfide during charge-discharge process induces grievous capacity fading,while the sluggish polysulfide conversion kinetics significantly hinders the development of practically viable lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries.In this study,a novel ZIF-7@carbon composite with ZIF-7 sheets vertically rooted on carbon cloth was developed as multifunctional interlayer to address these issues.The composite shows directional layered structure with outstanding compactness,and thus can provide massive active sites for accelerated redox reactions.The pore channels are perpendicular to the square surface,resulting in extremely high utilization of one-dimensional channels.Therefore,this structure can not only maintain the structural stability during the charge-discharge process by providing enough space for volume expansion,but also contribute to efficient exposure and utilization of active sites for the physical/chemical adsorption and catalytic conversion of polysulfide.As a result,Li-S batteries with the as-developed interlayer deliver a considerable areal capacity of 4.75 mAh cm^(-2) at an elevated sulfur loading of 5.5 mg cm^(-2),and an impressive cyclability with an extremely low capacity-fading rate of merely 0.04%per cycle over 500 cycles at 1 C.Xingbo Wang Yan Zhao Feichao Wu Shuming Liu Zisheng Zhang Zhaoyang Tan Xiaohang Du Jingde Li 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6:2
