2Changes of cortical bone pores structure and their effects on mechanical properties in tail-suspended rats显示文摘Cortical bone is the main mechanical bearing structure of bone,and the mechanical properties of materials are not only related to bone mineral density,but also largely depend on its pores microstructure which affected by blood vessels.However,the change of pores structure in cortical bone under microgravity was still unclear.In this study,in order to clear the changes of pore structure with cortical vascular pores and its effect on bone mechanical properties,rat tail-suspension was used to simulate microgravity and the changes of the microstructure in rat tibia cortices were investigated by high-resolution micro-CT(3μm)while the bone mechanical properties were measured via three point bending test.The results showed the bone mineral density of cortical bone didn't change in tail-suspended rats.However,the pore structure of cortical bone in tail-suspended rats changed significantly,the proportion of pores greater than 15μm(cortical vascular pores)increased while that less than 15μm decreased.The mechanical properties of bone(such as maximum load and maximum stress)in tail-suspended rats deteriorated.And the volume ratio of pore vessels(vessel volume/tissue volume)was negatively correlated with the mechanical properties.In conclusion,the increase of cortical vascular pores in rats caused by the simulated microgravity contributes to the decrease of mechanical properties.Shouhui Wang Xiao Yang Zhuang Han Xintong Wu Yu-Bo Fan Lian-Wen Sun 2022Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2022,,4:0
3Propagation characteristics of low-frequency axisymmetric waves in fluid-filled pipes embedded in the viscoelastic medium显示文摘The propagation characteristics of the low-frequency axisymmetric waves in buried fluid-filled pipes are investigated theoretically,based on the Kennard thin-walled shell equations,the Helmholtz equation,and the Kelvin-Voigt linear viscoelastic model.Analytic expressions of the phase velocity are derived for both the fluid-dominated wave and the shell-compressed wave under lubricated contact,via considering the surrounding soil as a viscoelastic medium.The dispersion and attenuation curves of the two wave types are obtained and verified numerically.The ratio of the radial pipe wall displacements is analyzed,with particular emphasis on the effects of the thickness-to-radius ratio and the quality factor on the dispersion and attenuation characteristics of the fluid-dominated wave.The results show that the viscoelastic property has slight effects on the phase velocities of the two wave types,but it influences the attenuation severely.The fluid-dominated wave influences the radial pipe wall displacement significantly and is the primary carrier of leakage noise energy;its phase velocity increases as a function of the thickness-to-radius ratio while the attenuation decreases.It also shows that the dispersion and attenuation of the fluid-dominated wave decrease as a function of the quality factor.The work will provide insights and guidance for the leakage detection of buried fluid-filled pipes.QIAN Jiawen HAN Qingbang SU Nana BAI Le QIAN Xintong 2022Chinese Journal of Acoustics2022,41,3:0
4Discovery and druggability evaluation of pyrrolamide-type GyrB/ParE inhibitor against drug-resistant bacterial infection显示文摘The bacterial ATP-competitive GyrB/ParE subunits of type II topoisomerase are important anti-bacterial targets to treat super drug-resistant bacterial infections.Herein we discovered novel pyrrolamide-type GyrB/ParE inhibitors based on the structural modifications of the candidate AzD5099 that was withdrawn from the clinical trials due to safety liabilities such as mitochondrial toxicity.The hydroxyisopropyl pyridazine compound 28 had a significant inhibitory effect on Gyrase(GyrB,IC_(50)=49 nmol/L)and a modest inhibitory effect on TopoⅣ(ParE,IC_(50)=1.513μmol/L)of Staphylococcus aureus.It also had significant antibacterial activities on susceptible and resistant Gram-positive bacteria with a minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC)of less than 0.03μg/mL,which showed a time-dependent bactericidal effect and low frequencies of spontaneous resistance against S.aureus.Compound 28 had better protective effects than the positive control drugs such as DS-2969(5)and AZD5099(6)in mouse models of sepsis induced by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)infection.It also showed better bactericidal activities than clinically used vancomycin in the mouse thigh MRSA infection models.Moreover,compound 28 has much lower mitochondrial toxicity than AZD5099(6)as well as excellent therapeutic indexes and pharmacokinetic properties.At present,compound 28 has been evaluated as a pre-clinical drug candidate for the treatment of drug-resistant Gram-positive bacterial infection.On the other hand,compound 28 also has good inhibitory activities against stubborn Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli(MIC=1μg/mL),which is comparable with the most potent pyrrolamide-type GyrB/ParE inhibitors reported recently.In addition,the structure-activity relationships of the compounds were also studied.Xintong Zhao Jing Feng Jie Zhang Zunsheng Han Yuhua Hu Hui-Hui Shao Tianlei Li Jie Xia Kangfan Lei Weiping Wang Fangfang Lai Yuan Lin Bo Liu Kun Zhang Chi Zhang Qingyun Yang Xinyu Luo Hanyilan Zhang Chuang Li Wenxuan Zhang Song Wu 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,12:0
5Exosomes derived from microglia overexpressing miR-124-3p alleviate neuronal endoplasmic reticulum stress damage after repetitive mild traumatic brain injury显示文摘We previously reported that miR-124-3p is markedly upregulated in microglia-derived exosomes following repetitive mild traumatic brain injury.However,its impact on neuronal endoplasmic reticulum stress following repetitive mild traumatic brain injury remains unclear.In this study,we first used an HT22 scratch injury model to mimic traumatic brain injury,then co-cultured the HT22 cells with BV2 microglia expressing high levels of miR-124-3p.We found that exosomes containing high levels of miR-124-3p attenuated apoptosis and endoplasmic reticulum stress.Furthermore,luciferase reporter assay analysis confirmed that miR-124-3p bound specifically to the endoplasmic reticulum stress-related protein IRE1α,while an IRE1αfunctional salvage experiment confirmed that miR-124-3p targeted IRE1αand reduced its expression,thereby inhibiting endoplasmic reticulum stress in injured neurons.Finally,we delivered microglia-derived exosomes containing miR-124-3p intranasally to a mouse model of repetitive mild traumatic brain injury and found that endoplasmic reticulum stress and apoptosis levels in hippocampal neurons were significantly reduced.These findings suggest that,after repetitive mild traumatic brain injury,miR-124-3 can be transferred from microglia-derived exosomes to injured neurons,where it exerts a neuroprotective effect by inhibiting endoplasmic reticulum stress.Therefore,microglia-derived exosomes containing miR-124-3p may represent a novel therapeutic strategy for repetitive mild traumatic brain injury.Yan Wang Dai Li Lan Zhang Zhenyu Yin Zhaoli Han Xintong Ge Meimei Li Jing Zhao Shishuang Zhang Yan Zuo Xiangyang Xiong Han Gao Qiang Liu Fanglian Chen Ping Lei 2024Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,9:0
6Retention mechanism of calcium ferrite and compositions of ash on selenium during chemical looping gasification显示文摘Selenium pollution by coal utilization is of increasing concern.Calcium-iron(Ca-Fe)oxygen carriers(OCs)and alkali metal ions have strong inhibitory effects on selenium,which can reduce the emissions of selenium vapor.The retention mechanisms of selenium by Fe_(2)O_(3),CaFe_(2)O_(4),Ca_(2)Fe_(2)O_(5) and bottom ash are investigated during chemical looping gasification(CLG).Iron-based OC can oxidize H_(2)Se(g)to SeO_(2)(g);furthermore,lattice oxygen is released by Fe_(2)O_(3),contributing to the formation of an Fe-O-Se structure to retain selenium and form selenite.Because calcium ferrite is poorly oxidizing,it cannot oxidize H_(2)Se(g),but the CaO produced when OCs are reduced can react with H_(2)Se(g)to form CaSe(s),and this process can be promoted by H_(2)S(g).The best retention rates reached 32.301%when Ca_(2)Fe_(2)O_(5) was used.In the cyclic experiment,the selenium retention of the bottom ash gradually increases.Alkali metal ions in bottom ash are the main factor in retaining selenium.Ca^(2+) and Mg^(2+) do not easily vaporize due to their high melting points;therefore,their selenium retention is significantly better than that of K^(+) and Na^(+).This research provided a new idea for the removal of selenium by using OCs and bottom ash par-ticles during CLG.Ziheng Han Huifen Kang Nini Yuan Xintong Guo Jingjing Ma Qingjie Guo 2023Particuology2023,,8:0
7Decision-Making Models Based on Meta-Reinforcement Learning for Intelligent Vehicles at Urban Intersections显示文摘Behavioral decision-making at urban intersections is one of the primary difficulties currently impeding the development of intelligent vehicle technology.The problem is that existing decision-making algorithms cannot effectively deal with complex random scenarios at urban intersections.To deal with this,a deep deterministic policy gradient(DDPG)decision-making algorithm(T-DDPG)based on a time-series Markov decision process(T-MDP)was developed,where the state was extended to collect observations from several consecutive frames.Experiments found that T-DDPG performed better in terms of convergence and generalizability in complex intersection scenarios than a traditional DDPG algorithm.Furthermore,model-agnostic meta-learning(MAML)was incorporated into the T-DDPG algorithm to improve the training method,leading to a decision algorithm(T-MAML-DDPG)based on a secondary gradient.Simulation experiments of intersection scenarios were carried out on the Gym-Carla platform to verify and compare the decision models.The results showed that T-MAML-DDPG was able to easily deal with the random states of complex intersection scenarios,which could improve traffic safety and efficiency.The above decision-making models based on meta-reinforcement learning are significant for enhancing the decision-making ability of intelligent vehicles at urban intersections.Xuemei Chen Jiahe Liu Zijia Wang Xintong Han Yufan Sun Xuelong Zheng 2022Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2022,31,4:0
8A Study of Rust Layer of Ultra-Thin Cast Strip Steel Containing 0.10%Sb in Simulated Industrial Atmosphere显示文摘A new type of steel containing Sb based on the CASTRIP process had been designed to improve the corrosion resistance of high-strength steels in industrial atmospheres.The properties of the electrochemistry and rust layer(RL)were analyzed to evaluate the corrosion resistance of the ultra-thin cast strip(UCS)steel containing 0.10%Sb.Experimental results showed that the corrosion resistance of UCS steel containing Sb was doubled compared to that of traditional hot rolling strip(HRS)steel.It could be interpreted as an integral effect of CASTRIP process and alloying elements.The optimization for microstructure and inclusion of UCS steel can reduce the localized corrosion effects in initial corrosion processes.Cu,P and Sb reduced the anodic reaction and CuFeO2/Cu2O,CuO,FePO4 and Sb2O3 were formed,promoting the transition fromγ-FeOOH toα-FeOOH.A(Cu,Sb,P)-enriched inner RL was generated and significantly improved protective ability of the RL.Long Chen Xintong Lian Zhong Xi Tengshi Liu Qingxiao Feng Hualong Li Yixin Shi Han Dong 2023Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,8:0
9Au nanoparticles based ultra-fast “Turn-On” fluorescent sensor for detection of biothiols and its application in living cell imaging显示文摘Au or other metal nanostructures have the ability to strongly quench the fluorescence of fluorophores.This feature has made AuNP-conjugates attractive for the construction of platforms for various bioanalytes to overcome the limitations of small molecule fluorophores(poor solubility,long reaction time).In this paper,an ultrafast'Turn-On'fluo rescent sensor for biothiols was constructed.The sensor is based on the fluorescent resonance energy transfer(FRET)effect between the fluorophore(PN)and AuNPs,which effectively quenches the fluorescence of the fluorophore.In the presence of thiols,PN is displaced and released from AuNP surfaces,and thus,the fluorescence is rapidly restored.The sensor features appreciable water solubility and ultrafast response time(a few seconds for Cys).In addition,it exhibits high selectivity and a detection limit as low as 12 nmol/L for Hcy.Moreover,the sensor presents good biocompatibility and has been successfully applied for imaging biothiols in living cells.Hailiang Zhang Pengfei Xu Xintong Zhang Xiaozheng Cao Wenxiu Han Meihui Liu Xiaohui Liu Wenbin Zeng 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,5:0

11Endogenous Security Formal Definition,Innovation Mechanisms,and Experiment Research in Industrial Internet显示文摘With the rapid development of information technologies,industrial Internet has become more open,and security issues have become more challenging.The endogenous security mechanism can achieve the autonomous immune mechanism without prior knowledge.However,endogenous security lacks a scientific and formal definition in industrial Internet.Therefore,firstly we give a formal definition of endogenous security in industrial Internet and propose a new industrial Internet endogenous security architecture with cost analysis.Secondly,the endogenous security innovation mechanism is clearly defined.Thirdly,an improved clone selection algorithm based on federated learning is proposed.Then,we analyze the threat model of the industrial Internet identity authentication scenario,and propose cross-domain authentication mechanism based on endogenous key and zero-knowledge proof.We conduct identity authentication experiments based on two types of blockchains and compare their experimental results.Based on the experimental analysis,Ethereum alliance blockchain can be used to provide the identity resolution services on the industrial Internet.Internet of Things Application(IOTA)public blockchain can be used for data aggregation analysis of Internet of Things(IoT)edge nodes.Finally,we propose three core challenges and solutions of endogenous security in industrial Internet and give future development directions.Hongsong Chen Xintong Han Yiying Zhang 2024Tsinghua Science and Technology2024,29,2:0
12Optimization of depreciation subsidy policy strategies for electric two-wheelers for improving traffic safety显示文摘To improve the traffic safety of electric two-wheelers(ETW),China has promulgated ETW standardization policies.This policy requires local governments to take measures to guide the illegal ETWs out of use.Governments have implemented a depreciation subsidy scheme to encourage users to scrap illegal ETWs early.When designing the subsidy scheme,effectively improving the ETWs’traffic safety at the road network level while saving government expenses is essential for the sustainable implementation of the policy.This study proposes an optimization method for depreciation subsidy design incorporating traffic safety evaluation.Based on the policy scheme,this study formulates a risk assessment model for the ETW traffic network to characterize the effect of the subsidy on improving safety.Then,we use the bi-level programming approach to model the subsidy strategy design problem.The upper-level problem reflects the goal of policymakers to maximize safety improvement and minimize government expenses.The lower-level problem describes the route choices of ETW users.The optimal subsidy design under different safety-expense trade-offs is analysed based on the Nguyen and Dupuis network and a real network extracted from Changsha City in China.The results show that specific subsidy schemes effectively improve road safety without a large government spending.When themarket price or service life of ETWs increases,the government spending on the same safety goal increases.The government should comprehensively consider the safety effect of financial expense and the situation of the local ETW market before selecting reasonable subsidy strategies.Xintong Li Helai Huang Chunyang Han Guangming Xu Jaeyoung Lee Cheng Hu 2022Transportation Safety and Environment2022,4,3:0
