Thiolactone copolymer donor gifts organic solar cells a 16.72% efficiency显示文摘Since 1995,bulk-heterojunction organic solar cells consisting of one or two organic donors and one or two organic acceptors have been fighting for high power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)and good stability[1].Until recent years, this next-generation photovoltaic technology starts to offer decent PCEs,shedding the light on commercialization, and attracting great attention again[2-14].Compared w让h the continuously emerging highperformance nonfullerene acceptors,high-performance donors are rare. | Ji Xiong Ke Jin Yufan Jiang Jianqiang Qin Tan Wang Jinfeng Liu Qishi Liu Haili Peng Xiongfeng Li Anxin Sun Xianyi Meng Lixiu Zhang Ling Liu Wenting Li Zhimin Fang Xue Jia Zuo Xiao Yaqing Feng Xiaotao Zhang Kuan Sun Shangfeng Yang Shengwei Shi Liming Ding | 2019 | Science Bulletin2019,64,21: | 17
Palmitoylation stabilizes PD-L1 to promote breast tumor growth显示文摘Dear Editor,PD-L1 is a well-known transmembrane protein, which is highly expressed on many types of cancer cells. By binding to its receptor PD-1 on T cells, PD-L1 significantly inhibits T cells activation and activity, and thus plays a pivotal role in driving the escape of tumor cells from immune surveillance.^1. | Yi Yang Jung-Mao Hsu Linlin Sun Li-Chuan Chan Chia-Wei Li Jennifer L. | 3 | Reverse Genetic Identification of CRN1 and its Distinctive Role in Chlorophyll Degradation in Arabidopsis显示文摘Recent identification of NYE1/SGR1 brought up a new era for the exploration of the regulatory mechanism of Chlorophyll (Chl) degradation.Cluster analysis of senescence associated genes with putative chloroplast targeting sequences revealed several genes sharing a similar expression pattern with NYE1.Further characterization of available T-DNA insertion lines led to the discovery of a novel stay-green gene CRN1 (Co-regulated with NYE1).Chl breakdown was significantly restrained in crn1-1 under diversified senescence scenarios, which is comparable with that in acd1-20,but much more severe than that in nye11.Notably,various Chl binding proteins, especially trimeric LHCP II,were markedly retained in crn1-1 four days after dark-treatment,possibly due to a lesion in disassociation of protein-pigment complex.Nevertheless, the photochemical efficiency of PSII in crn1-1 declined, even more rapidly, two days after dark-treatment,compared to those in Col-0 and nye1-1.Our results suggest that CRN1 plays a crucial role in Chl degradation, and that loss of its function produces various side-effects,including those on the breakdown of Ch-protein complex and the maintenance of the residual photosynthetic capability during leaf senescence. | Guodong Ren Qian Zhou Shouxin Wu Yufan Zhang Lingang Zhang Jirong Huang Zhenfei Sun Benke Kuai | 2010 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2010,52,5: | 8
Preparation of 5-fluorouracil-loaded chitosan nanoparticles and study of the sustained release in vitro and in vivo显示文摘The sustained-release properties of the biodegradable nano-drug delivery systems were used to improve the residence time of the chemotherapeutic agent in the body. These drug delivery systems were widely used to deliver chemotherapeutic drugs. The 5-fluorouracil loaded chitosan nanoparticles prepared in this paper have the above advantage. Here, we found that when the mass ratio of 5-fluorouracil and chitosan was 1:1, the maximum drug loading of nanoparticles was 20.13 ± 0.007%, the encapsulation efficiency was 44.28 ± 1.69%, the particle size was 283.9 ± 5.25 nm and the zeta potential was 45.3 ± 3.23 mV. The prepared nanoparticles had both burst-release and sustained-release phases in vitro release studies. In addition, the inhibitory effect of the prepared nanoparticles on gastric cancer SGC-7901 cells was similar to that of 5-fluorouracil injection, and the blank vector had no obvious inhibitory effect on SGC-7901 cells. In the pharmacokinetic study of rats in vivo, we found that AUC(0-t), MRT(0-t) and t1/2 z of nanoparticles were significantly increased in vivo compared with 5-fluorouracil solution, indicating that the prepared nanoparticles can play a role in sustained-release. | Li Sun Yunna Chen Yali Zhou Dongdong Guo Yufan Fan Fangyan Guo Yufeng Zheng Weidong Chen | 2017 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2017,12,5: | 4
Geochronology, geochemistry and Hf isotopes of andesites in the Sandaowanzi gold deposit(Great Xing’an Range, NE China): implications for petrogenesis, tectonic setting, and mineralization显示文摘The Sandaowanzi gold deposit is an extremely Au-rich deposit in the Northern Great Hinggan Range in recent years.Zircon U-Pb geochronology,Hf isotope analysis, and the geochemistry of andesites of the Longjiang Formation from the Sandaowanzi gold deposit were used to investigate the origin, magmatic evolution as well as mineralization and tectonic setting of the Early Cretaceous epithermal gold deposits in the northern Great Hinggan Range area.Zircon U-Pb dating reveals an emplacement age of 123.4±0.3 Ma,indicating that the andesites of the Sandaowanzi gold deposit was formed during the Early Cretaceous. The andesites are enriched in light rare earth elements relative to heavy rare earth elements and have weak negative Eu anomalies(δEu=0.76-0.90).The rocks are also enriched in large-ion lithophile elements, such as Rb,Ba,Th,U,and K,and depleted in the high-field-strength elements, such as Nb,Ta,and P.These characteristics are typical of volcanic rocks related to subduction.Igneous zircons from the andesite samples have relatively homogeneous Hf isotope ratios,176Hf/177Hf values of 0.282343-0.282502,εHf(t)values of-12.58 to-6.95,and two-stage model ages(TDM2)of 1743-1431 Ma.The characteristics of the andesites of the Longjiang Formation are consistent with derivation from partial melting of enriched mantle wedge metasomatized by subducted-slab-derived fluids. These rocks formed in an extensional environment associated with the closure of the Mongol-Okhotsk Ocean and subduction of the Paleo-Pacific Plate.Mineralization occurred towards the end of volcanism, and the magmatic activity and mineralization are products of the same geodynamic setting. | Runtao Yu Bile Li Fengyue Sun Zhihua Li Huawei Li Yufan Shi | 2021 | Acta Geochimica2021,40,2: | 2

Antibiotics in global rivers显示文摘Antibiotics have received extensive attention due to their sophisticated effects on human health and ecosystems. However, there is an extreme scarcity of information on composition, content, geographic distribution, and risk of riverine antibiotics at a large spatial scale.Based on a systematic review of over 600 pieces of literature(1999-2021),we established a global dataset containing more than 90,000 records covering 169 antibiotics and their metabolites in surface water and sediment across 76 countries. The occurrence of prioritized antibiotics largely depended on socioeconomic developmental levels, and the current“hotspots”of polluted rivers were found mostly in less developed countries or emerging economies(e.g.,some in Africa,South America, and Asia).By developing the screening protocol for risk-based prioritization of antibiotics,we advanced a rank list of antibiotics for guiding formulation of region-specific strategies, which highlighted the importance of whole life cycle management of antibiotics in health maintenance of the world’s rivers. | Si Li Yi Liu Yang Wu Jingrun Hu Yiqing Zhang Qian Sun Weiling Sun Jiagen Geng Xiaoying Liu Dantong Jia Xiuqi You Dianqing Qi Moran Tang Yitao Lyu Fanguang Kong Leilei Cai Yufan Ai Yichu Wang Jinren Ni | 2022 | National Science Open2022,1,2: | 1
Advances Toward Sustainable Lignin-based Gel for Energy Storage and Smart Sensing显示文摘Polymers obtained from biomass are promising alternatives to petrobased polymers owing to their low cost, biocompatibility, and biodegradability.Lignin,a complex aromatic polymer containing several functional hydrophilic and active groups including hydroxyls, carbonyls, and methoxyls,is the second most abundant biopolymer in plants. In particular, sustainable ligninbased gels are emerging as an appealing material platform for developing energy-and sensing-related applications owing to their attractive and tailorable physiochemical properties. This study describes the preparation strategies of lignin-based gels according to previously reported methods, with significant attention on the diverse performance of lignin-derived gel materials.Additionally,a detailed review of lignin-based gels utilized as an important resource in diverse fields is provided. Finally,a future vision on challenges and their possible solutions is presented. | Yufan Feng Jie Yu Changyou Shao Runcang Sun | 2023 | Paper And Biomaterials2023,8,2: | 0
Picosecond electrical response in graphene/MoTe_(2) heterojunction with high responsivity in the near infrared region显示文摘Understanding the fundamental charge carrier dynamics is of great significance for photodetectors with both high speed and high responsivity.Devices based on two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides can exhibit picosecond photoresponse speed.However,2D materials naturally have low absorption, and when increasing thickness to gain higher responsivity, the response time usually slows to nanoseconds, limiting their photodetection performance. Here,by taking time-resolved photocurrent measurements,we demonstrated that graphene/MoTe_(2) van der Waals heterojunctions realize a fast 10 ps photoresponse time owing to the reduced average photocurrent drift time in the heterojunction, which is fundamentally distinct from traditional Dirac semimetal photodetectors such as graphene or Cd_(3)As_(2) and implies a photodetection bandwidth as wide as 100 GHz.Furthermore,we found that an additional charge carrier transport channel provided by graphene can ef-fectively decrease the photocurrent recombination loss to the entire device, preserving a high responsivity in the near-infrared region. Our study provides a deeper understanding of the ultrafast electrical response in van der Waals heterojunctions and offers a promising approach for the realization of photodetectors with both high responsivity and ultrafast electrical response. | Zhouxiaosong Zeng Kai Braun Cuihuan Ge Martin Eberle Chenguang Zhu Xingxia Sun Xin Yang Jiali Yi Delang Liang Yufan Wang Lanyu Huang Ziyu Luo Dong Li Anlian Pan Xiao Wang | 2022 | Fundamental Research2022,2,3: | 0
Therapeutic application of chick early amniotic fluid: effective rescue of acute myocardial ischemic injury by intravenous administration显示文摘Myocardial regeneration has been considered a promising option for the treatment of adult myocardial injuries.Previously,a chick early amniotic fluid(ceAF)preparation was shown to contain growth-related factors that pro-moted embryonic growth and cellular proliferation, though the nature of the components within ceAF were not fully defined. Here we tested whether this ceAF preparation is similarly effective in the promotion of myocardial regen-eration,which could provide an alternative therapeutic for intervening myocardial injury. In this study,a myocardial ischemic injury model was established in adult mice and pigs by multiple research entities, and we were able to show that ceAF can efficiently rescue damaged cardiac tissues and markedly improve cardiac function in both experimental models through intravenous administration.ceAF administration increased cell proliferation and improved angio-genesis,likely via down-regulation of Hippo-YAP signaling. Our data suggest that ceAF administration can effectively rescue ischemic heart injury, providing the key functional information for the further development of ceAF for use in attenuating myocardial injury. | Baiping Cui Yufan Zheng Xiang Gao Lihong Zhang Borui Li Jia Chen Xinyan Zhou Mengyuan Cai Wenrui Sun Yuting Zhang Keejong Chang Jiayi Xu Fuyin Zhu Yan Luo Tao Sun Jin Qian Ning Sun | 2022 | Cell Regeneration2022,11,1: | 0
Activation of Pancreatic Acinar FXR Protects against Pancreatitis via Osginl-Mediated Restoration of Efficient Autophagy显示文摘Pancreatitis is the leading cause of hospitalization in gastroenterology, and no medications are available for treating this disease in current clinical practice.FxR plays an anti-inflammatory role in diverse inflammatory diseases, while its function in pancreatitis remains unknown. In this study,we initially observed a marked increase of nuclear FXR in pancreatic tissues of human patients ithpancratis eleting theFXRinpancreati acinar cels FXRicnara/a)ledto moreseverepancreatitis in mousemodels of caerulein-induced acute and chronic pancreatitis, while the FXR agonist GW4064 significantly attenuated pancreatitis in caerulein or arginine-induced acute pancreatitis and caerulein-induced chronic pancreatitis.FXR deletion impaired the viability and stress responses of pancreatic exocrine organoids(PEOs)in vitro.Utilizing RNA-seq and ChIP-seq of PEOs,we identified Osginl as a direct target of FxR in the exocrine pancreas, which was also increasingly expressed in human pancreatitis tissues compared to normal pancreatic tissues.Pancreatic knockdown of Osgin1 by AAV-pan abolished the therapeutic effects of FXR activation on pancreatitis, whereas pancreatic overexpression of Osginl effectively alleviated caerulein-induced pancreatitis.Mechanistically,we found that the FXR-OSGINl axis stimulated autophagic flux in the pancreatic tissues and cell lines, which was considered as the intrinsic mechanisms through which FXR-OSGINI protecting against pancreatitis. Our results highlight the protective role of the FXR-OSGIN1 axis in pancreatitis and provided a new target for the treatment of this disease. | Yufan Zheng Wenrui Sun Zhengyang Wang Jiaying Liu Cong Shan Chenxi He Borui Li Xiao Hu Wenjia Zhu Liyan Liu Fei Lan Changtao Jiang Chao Zhao Xiaobo Li Ning Sun | 2023 | Research2023,,1: | 0
Rapid and non-destructive decay detection of Yali pears using hyperspectral imaging coupled with 2D correlation spectroscopy显示文摘The black spot disease caused by Alternaria alternata on Yali pears is a great concern as it compromises their edible quality and commercial value. To realize rapid and non-destructive classification of this disease, hyperspectral imaging(HSI)technology was combined with two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy(2DCOS)analysis.A total of 150 pear samples at different decay grades were prepared. After obtaining the HSI images, the whole sample was demarcated as the region of interest, and the spectral information was extracted.Seven preprocessing methods were applied and compared to build the classification models.Thereafter, using the inoculation day as an external perturbation,2DCOS was used to select the feature-related wavebands for black spot disease identification, and the result was compared to those obtained using competitive adaptive reweighting sampling and the successive projections algorithm. Results demonstrated that the simplified least squares support vector model based on 2DCOS-identified feature wavebands yielded the best performance with the identification accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and specificity of 97.30%,94.60%,96.16%,and 98.21%,respectively.Therefore,2DCOS can effectively interpret the feature-related wavebands, and its combination with HSI is an effective tool to predict black spot disease on Yali pears. | Yufan Zhang Wenxiu Wang Fan Zhang Qianyun Ma Shuang Gao Jie Wang Jianfeng Sun Yuanyuan Liu | 2022 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,5: | 0
Decision-Making Models Based on Meta-Reinforcement Learning for Intelligent Vehicles at Urban Intersections显示文摘Behavioral decision-making at urban intersections is one of the primary difficulties currently impeding the development of intelligent vehicle technology. The problem is that existing decision-making algorithms cannot effectively deal with complex random scenarios at urban intersections. To deal with this,a deep deterministic policy gradient(DDPG)decision-making algorithm(T-DDPG)based on a time-series Markov decision process(T-MDP)was developed, where the state was extended to collect observations from several consecutive frames.Experiments found that T-DDPG performed better in terms of convergence and generalizability in complex intersection scenarios than a traditional DDPG algorithm.Furthermore,model-agnostic meta-learning(MAML)was incorporated into the T-DDPG algorithm to improve the training method, leading to a decision algorithm(T-MAML-DDPG)based on a secondary gradient.Simulation experiments of intersection scenarios were carried out on the Gym-Carla platform to verify and compare the decision models. The results showed that T-MAML-DDPG was able to easily deal with the random states of complex intersection scenarios, which could improve traffic safety and efficiency. The above decision-making models based on meta-reinforcement learning are significant for enhancing the decision-making ability of intelligent vehicles at urban intersections. | Xuemei Chen Jiahe Liu Zijia Wang Xintong Han Yufan Sun Xuelong Zheng | 2022 | Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2022,31,4: | 0
Isogenic human pluripotent stem cell disease models reveal ABRA deficiency underlies cTnT mutation-induced familial dilated cardiomyopathy显示文摘Dear Editor,Dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM)is a common form of inherited cardiomyopathy. In the past decades, single mutations in various genes encoding sarcomeric, cytoskeletal, and channel proteins etc.have been found to be associated with DCM(Hershberger et al.,2013;McNally and Mestroni,2017).However,the mechanisms how single mutations in sarcomeric or structural genes lead to the disease remain elusive. An interesting phenomenon often seen in familial cardiomyopathy is that different single mutations on the same gene can cause either DCM or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM)(Kathiresan and Srivastava,2012),which exhibit almost opposite disease phenotypes.DCM is characterized by thinned myocardium and septum, ventricular chamber dilation, and systolic dysfunction(Jefferies and Towbin,2010;McNally and Mestroni,2017),while HCM exhibits thickened myocardium and septum, reduced ventricular chamber, and diastolic dysfunction(Richard et al.,2003).At the cellular level,HCM cardiomyocytes exhibit concentric hypertrophy characterized by assembly of myofilaments in parallel and widening of the myocytes. In contrast,DCM cardiomyocytes show eccentric hypertrophy, with assembly of the myofilaments in series and myocyte elongation(Kehat and Molkentin,2010). | Bin Li Yongkun Zhan Qianqian Liang Chen Xu Xinyan Zhou Huanhuan Cai Yufan Zheng Yifan Guo Lei Wang Wenqing Qiu Baiping Cui Chao Lu Ruizhe Qian Ping Zhou Haiyan Chen Yun Liu Sifeng Chen Xiaobo Li Ning Sun | 2022 | Protein & Cell2022,13,1: | 0
3D automatic segmentation method for retinal optical coherence tomography volume data using boundary surface enhancement显示文摘With the introduction of spectral-domain optical coherence tomography(SD-OCT),much larger image datasets are routinely acquired compared to what was possible using the previous generation of time-domain OCT.Thus, there is a critical need for the development of three-dimensional(3D)segmentation methods for processing these data.We present here a novel 3D automatic segmentation method for retinal OCT volume data.Brie°y,to segment a boundary surface, two OCT volume datasets are obtained by using a 3D smoothingfilter and a 3D differentialfilter.Their linear combination is then calculated to generate new volume data with an enhanced boundary surface, where pixel intensity, boundary position information, and intensity changes on both sides of the boundary surface are used simultaneously.Next, preliminary discrete boundary points are detected from the A-Scans of the volume data. Finally, surface smoothness constraints and a dynamic threshold are applied to obtain a smoothed boundary surface by correcting a small number of error points. Our method can extract retinal layer boundary surfaces sequentially with a decreasing search region of volume data.We performed automatic segmentation on eight human OCT volume datasets acquired from a commercial Spectralis OCT system, where each volume of datasets contains 97 OCT B-Scan images with a resolution of 496512(each B-Scan comprising 512 A-Scans containing 496 pixels);experimental results show that this method can accurately segment seven layer boundary surfaces in normal as well as some abnormal eyes. | Yankui Sun Tian Zhang Yue Zhao Yufan He | 2016 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2016,9,2: | 0
