1The earthquake-related disturbances in ionosphere and project of the first China seismo-electromagnetic satellite显示文摘Based on the case studies and statistical analysis of earthquake-related ionospheric disturbances mainly from DEMETER satellite,ground-based GPS and ionosounding data,this paper summarizes the statistical characteristics of earthquake-related ionospheric disturbances,including electromagnetic emissions,plasma perturbations and variation of energetic particle flux.According to the main results done by Chinese scientists, fusing with the existed study from global researches,seismo-ionospheric disturbances usually occurred a few days or hours before earthquake occurrence.Paralleling to these case studies,lithosphere-atmosphere-ionosphere (LAI) coupling mechanisms are checked and optimized.A thermo-electric model was proposed to explain the seismo-electromagnetic effects before earthquakes.A propagation model was put forward to explain the electromagnetic waves into the ionosphere.According to the requirement of earthquake prediction research,China seismo-electromagnetic satellite,the first space-based platform of Chinese earthquake stereoscopic observation system,is proposed and planned to launch at about the end of 2014.It focuses on checking the LAI model and distinguishing earthquake-related ionospheric disturbance.The preliminary design for the satellite will adopt CAST-2000 platform with eight payloads onboard.It is believed that the satellite will work together with the ground monitoring network to improve the capability to capture seismo-electromagnetic information,which is beneficial for earthquake monitoring and prediction researches.Xuhui Shen Xuemin Zhang Lanwei Wang Huaran Chen Yun Wu Shigeng Yuan Junfeng Shen Shufan Zhao Jiadong Qian Jianhai Ding 2011Earthquake Science2011,24,6:13
2Thickness of calcium carbonate coats on stones of the Heishanxia terraces of the Yellow River and dating of coarse clastic sedimentary geomorphic surfaces显示文摘The calcium carbonate coats on stones developed in soil on the geomorphic surfaces of coarse clastic sediments in arid-semiarid regions contain evident information of age. The thickness of coats can be used not only as a good age indicator for the geomorphic surfaces but also coats themselves can be directly used as dating materials in the ESR method. Through measuring the thickness of carbonate coats on stones in soils on the alluvial terraces in the mouth of the Heishanxia gorge of the Yellow River and ESR dating of layers separated from the carbonate coats, the average of accumulation rates of the thickness of carbonate coats on stones since 1.57 Ma was calculated to be 0.10 mm/ka in the studied area, and a regression equation between carbonate coat thickness and age was also generated. 3Luteolin prevents uric acid-induced pancreatic β-cell dysfunction显示文摘Elevated uric acid causes direct injury to pancreaticβ-cells.In this study,we examined the effects of luteolin,an important antioxidant,on uric acid-inducedβ-cell dysfunction.We first evaluated the effect of luteolin on nitric oxide(NO)formation in uric acid-stimulated Min6 cells using the Griess method.Next,we performed transient transfection and reporter assays to measure transcriptional activity of nuclear factor(NF)-κB.Western blotting assays were also performed to assess the effect of luteolin on the expression of MafA and inducible NO synthase(iNOS)in uric acid-treated cells.Finally,we evaluated the effect of luteolin on uric acid-induced inhibition of glucose-stimulated insulin secretion(GSIS)in Min6 cells and freshly isolated mouse pancreatic islets.We found that luteolin significantly inhibited uric acid-induced NO production,which was well correlated with reduced expression of iNOS mRNA and protein.Furthermore,decreased activity of NF-κB was implicated in inhibition by luteolin of increased iNOS expression induced by uric acid.Besides,luteolin significantly increased MafA expression in Min6cells exposed to uric acid,which was reversed by overexpression of iNOS.Moreover,luteolin prevented uric acidinduced inhibition of GSIS in both Min6 cells and mouse islets.In conclusion,luteolin protects pancreaticβ-cells from uric acid-induced dysfunction and may confer benefit on the protection of pancreaticβ-cells in hyperuricemiaassociated diabetes.Ying Ding Xuhui Shi Xuanyu Shuai Yuemei Xu Yun Liu Xiubin Liang Dong Wei Dongming Su 2014The Journal of Biomedical Research2014,28,4:3

6Predictive Decision and Reliable Accessing for UAV Communication in Space-Air-Ground Integrated Networks显示文摘The cooperation of multiple Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs) has become a promising scenario in Space-Air-Ground Integrated Networks(SAGINs) recently due to their widespread applications,where wireless communication is a basic necessity and is normally categorized into control and nonpayload communication(CNPC) as well as payload communication. In this paper, we attempt to tackle two challenges of UAV communication respectively on establishing reliable CNPC links against the high mobility of UAVs as well as changeable communication conditions, and on offering dynamic resource optimization for Quality-of-Service(QoS) guaranteed payload communication with variable link connectivity. Firstly, we propose the concept of air controlling center(ACC), a virtual application equipped on the infrastructure in SAGINs, which can collect global information for estimating UAV trajectory and communication channels. We then introduce the knapsack problem for modelling resource optimization of UAV communication in order to provide optimal access points for both CNPC and payload communication. Meanwhile, using the air controlling information, predictive decision algorithm and handover strategy are introduced for the reliable connection with multiple access points. 8A Novel Synchronization Method in Terahertz Large-Scale Antenna Array System显示文摘We focus on the problems of the accurate time delay estimation,the design of training pilots,and hybrid matrix optimization within the large-scale antenna array Terahertz(THz)broadband communication system.In contrast to the existing researches based on narrow-band arrays,we hereby shed light on the time delay estimation of broadband arrays.In THz broadband communication systems,the data symbol duration is relatively short when comparing with the dimension of the antenna array.In large-scale antenna systems,signals received in each antenna are no longer different phase-shifted copies of the same symbol,but completely different symbols in which occasion traditional narrowband structure is no longer suitable.Based on the above conclusion,firstly,we put forward a system model based on large-scale antenna arrays and Time delay line(TDL)structure.Secondly,we deduce the Cramer-Rao lower bound(CRLB)of the time delay estimation,and present a time delay estimation algorithm that could reach the CRLB.Thirdly,by minimizing the CRLB,we address the design of the training pilot and optimized TDL structure under the condition of constant envelope training pilot and modulus TDL structure.Finally,we disclose the numerical simulation results.According to the simulation results,the aforementioned method is workable in reaching the CRLB,the TDL structure can significantly surpass that of the traditional model,and the optimal pilot design method outperforms the pseudo-random pilot structure.ZHENG Chen DING Xuhui LIU Dekang BU Xiangyuan AN Sining 2021Chinese Journal of Electronics2021,30,5:0
9Micro-patterned hydroxyapatite/silk fibroin coatings on Mg-Zn-Y-Nd-Zr alloys for better corrosion resistance and cell behavior guidance显示文摘In this study,a micro-patterned hydroxyapatite/silk fibroin(HA-SF)coating was firstly fabricated on the surface of Mg-Zn-Y-Nd-Zr alloy by template-assisted electrospraying technique coupling with spin coating technique.Two types of micro-patterns were achieved with high contour accuracy,namely HA SF(line-pattern)and HA-SF(dot-pattern).The microstructure,composition,surface wettability and corrosion behaviors of the coatings were investigated by SEM,EDS,FTIR,XRD,water contact angle and potentiodynamic polarization test.The results revealed the hydrophilic nature of coatings and two orders of magnitude reduction of corrosion density(icorr)as compared with that of the substrate.All the micro-patterned surfaces promoted the attachment of MC3T3-E1 cells with visible filopodia after 1 d incubation.In addition,coatings with line pattern exhibited the superior guidance to cell migration as compared to dot pattern,and the preference of cell attachment in the convex zone was observed.In summary,the obtained micro-patterned HA-SF coatings possessed the remarkably improvement of anticorrosion ability and good efficacy in guidance of cell attachment and alignment,which can serve as a promising strategy for cellular response modulation at the interface of magnesium-based implants and bone.Lei CHANG Xiangrui LI Xuhui TANG He ZHANG Ding HE Yujun WANG Jiayin ZHAO Jingan LI Jun WANG Shijie ZHU Liguo WANG Shaokang GUAN 2020Frontiers of Materials Science2020,14,4:0
10A Novel Angle of Arrival Tracking Method in Large-Scale-Array Systems显示文摘In this paper,we investigate the problem of angle of arrival(AOA)tracking for the largescale array in terahertz(THz)communication,which has a large size and a narrow beam,highly demanding an accurate angle estimation.On the one hand,the system usually adopts a hybrid structure with limited radio-frequency(RF)chains,which increases the difficulty of angle estimation;on the other hand,the rapid mobility of users also brings new challenges to angle estimation.To address the above challenges,a two-stage tracking framework is proposed in this paper,which employs the random phase matrix and orthogonal long pilots in the first stage to reduce the complicated multi-user estimation to multiple single-user estimations,followed by using both wide and narrow beams in the second stage to serve high-speed and low-speed users.Furthermore,a generalized-approximated-message-passing(GAMP)method is proposed for facilitating a low-accuracy estimation of the angles,followed by adopting a modified expectation-maximization(EM)algorithm based phase estimation to unbiased estimate the instantaneous angle with the help of high-gain characteristics of the beams.The proposed structure can not only simplify the estimation complexity,but also improve the estimation accuracy due to its capability of transferring the non-linear problem of angle observation into a linear gaussian model.In addition,the Kalman tracking framework is employed for performing a continuous angle tracking.Numerical results show that the angle estimation based on the random phase matrix in the initial stage can obtain a high enough estimation accuracy,while the GAMP algorithm implemented in the second stage can quickly capture the angle range under the Rayleigh limit.The performance of the proposed EM-based tracking method is shown to outperform the traditional extended Kalman filter(EKF)method.Chen Zheng Dekang Liu Xuhui Ding Xiangyuan Bu Zhongshan Zhang 2022China Communications2022,19,9:0
11Different developments of rice leaf and their response to nitrogen显示文摘The study evaluates and compares the leaf number(LN)of two rice types,Hybrid Indica(HI)and Japonica(J),and their response to three different nitrogen rates.A split plot experiment was conducted in Danyang District,Jiangsu Province in China,from 2017 to 2018 both rice growing seasons.It was carried out using the Transplanting machine,and the spacing was 17 cm×30 cm.A split zone design was adopted,with three different levels of nitrogen:N0-0,N1-150 kg hm^(-2) and N2-300 kg hm^(-2).The areas were isolated with a brick wall to ensure that each main area drained separately.Urea appliance:tiller fertilizer:panicle fertilizer=4:3:3,P_(2)O_(5)-150 kg hm^(-2) were used as base fertilizer,Potassium chloride 300 kg hm^(-2):panicle fertilizer=5:5.Nitrogen rates(N)significantly influenced the LN of Hybrid Indica cultivars.The first year N0=15.5,N150=15.7,N300=15.9 and the second year N0=15.9,N150=16.3,N300=16.5 with a significant difference between both years.However,Japonica rice cultivars were not as responsive to N as Hybrid Indica's were.The Japonica LN on N0=16.2,N150=16,N300=16.8,and N0=16.4,N150=16.6,N300=16.5 for 2017 and 2018 respectively,with a significant difference in the first year only at N300.The results revealed that LN varies greatly among varieties,furthermore the nitrogen fertilizer and the year of the experiment played a major role on LN outcome.Cambula D.Elidio Chao Ding Xuhui Zhu Gang Hua Li 2022Technology in Agronomy2022,2,1:0
