1The recommendations of Chinese Parkinson’s disease and movement disorder society consensus on therapeutic management of Parkinson’s disease显示文摘Background:Parkinson’s disease(PD)is a chronic,progressive and debilitating disease,which affects over 2.5 million people in China.PD is characterized clinically by resting tremor,muscular rigidity,bradykinesia and postural instability.As the disease progresses,additional complications can arise such as non-motor and neurobehavioral symptoms.Pharmacological treatment and surgical intervention for PD have been implemented in China.Until 10 years ago,there was lack of standardization for the management of PD in different regions and among different physicians,leading to different treatment levels in different regions and different physicians.Since then,the Chinese Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Society have published three versions of guidelines for the management of PD in China,in 2006,2009 and 2014,respectively.Correspondingly,the overall level of treatment for PD in China improved.Objectives:To update the treatment guidelines based on current foreign and domestic practice guidelines and clinical evidence,and to improve the treatment options available to physicians in the management of PD.Summary:A variety of treatment recommendations in the treatment guidelines have been proposed,including physical activity and disease-modifying medication,which should be initiated at the early-stage of the disease.The principles of dosage titration should be followed to avoid acute adverse reactions to the drugs,to achieve a satisfactory clinical effect with a low dose and to reduce the incidence of long-term motor complications.Moreover,different treatment strategies should be considered at different stages of the disease.Importantly,treatment guidelines and personalized treatments should be valued equally.A set of treatment recommendations has been developed to assist physicians to improve and optimize clinical outcomes for patients with PD in China.Shengdi Chen Piu Chan Shenggang Sun Haibo Chen Baorong Zhang Weidong Le Chunfeng Liu Guoguang Peng Beisha Tang Lijuan Wang Yan Cheng Ming Shao Zhenguo Liu Zhenfu Wang Xiaochun Chen Mingwei Wang Xinhua Wan Huifang Shang Yiming Liu Pingyi Xu Jian Wang Tao Feng Xianwen Chen Xingyue Hu Anmu Xie Qin Xiao 2016Translational Neurodegeneration2016,5,1:23
2No expenditure difference among patients with liver cancer at stageⅠ-ⅣV:Findings from a multicenter cross-sectional study in China显示文摘Objective:The number of liver cancer patients in China accounts for more than half of the world.However,China currently lacks national,multicenter economic burden data,and meanwhile,measuring the differences among different subgroups will be informative to formulate corresponding policies in liver cancer control.Thus,the aim of the study was to measure the economic burden of liver cancer by various subgroups.Methods:A hospital-based,multicenter and cross-sectional survey was conducted during 2012・2014,covering 39 hospitals and 21 project sites in 13 provinces across China.The questionnaire covers clinical information,sociology,expenditure,and related variables.All expenditure data were reported in Chinese Yuan(CNY)using 2014 values.Results:A total of 2,223 liver cancer patients were enrolled,of whom 59.61%were late-stage cases(III-IV),and 53.8%were hepatocellular carcinoma.The average total expenditure per liver cancer patient was estimated as 53,220 CNY,including 48,612 CNY of medical expenditures(91.3%)and 4,608 CNY of non-medical expenditures(8.7%).The average total expenditures in stage I,H,m and stage IV were 52,817 CNY,50,877 CNY,50,678 CNY and 54,089 CNY(P>0.05),respectively.Non-medical expenditures including additional meals,additional nutrition care,transportation,accommodation and hired informal nursing were 1,453 CNY,839 CNY,946 CNY,679 CNY and 200 CNY,respectively.The one-year out-of-pocket expenditure of a newly diagnosed patient was 24,953 CNY,and 77.2%of the patients suffered an unmanageable financial burden.Multivariate analysis showed that overall expenditure differed in almost all subgroups(P<0.05),except for sex,clinical stage,and pathologic type.Conclusions:There was no difference in treatment expenditure for liver cancer patients at different clinical stages,which suggests that maintaining efforts on treatment efficacy improvement is important but not enough.To fiirtherly reduce the overall economic burden from liver cancer,more effort should be given to primary and secondary prevention strategies.Haike Lei Lin Lei Jufang Shi Yongzhong Wu Ling Liang Huiyao Huang Mei He Fangzhou Bai Maomao Cao Hui Qiu Yuting Wang Chengcheng Liu Jia Du Hong Wang Yan Zhang Mengdi Cao Ji Peng Ni Li Chunfeng Qu Min Dai Wanqing Chen Jie He 2020Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,4:7
3Fluoxetine for poststroke depression A randomized placebo controlled clinical trial显示文摘BACKGROUND: Studies have demonstrated that poststroke depression(PSD) may be related with the disequilibrium between noradrenaline and 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) caused by cerebral injury. The injured regions involve noradrenergic and 5-hydroxytryptaminergic neurons as well as conduction pathway. The levels of noradrenaline and 5-HT would be decreased. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of fluoxetine on preventing against PSD and recovery of neurologic function, and analyze the relationship of fluoxetine and the 5-HT level. DESIGN: A randomized controlled clinical trial. SETTING: Department of Neurology, First Hospital Affiliated to Soochow University. PARTICIPANTS: Ninety consecutive patients, 47 female and 43 male, were recruited who admitted to hospital for recent stroke in the Department of Neurology, First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University between September 2003 and February 2005. Subjects were aged (64±7 ) years, ranging from 47 to 79 years old. They all met the diagnosis criteria of various cerebrovascular diseases formulated in the 4th National Cerebrovascular Disease Conference and confirmed as stroke by skull CT or MRI; The time from onset to tentative administration was less than 7 days; The patients had clear consciousness, without obvious language disorder. They were randomized into treatment group (n =48) and placebo group (n =42). METHODS: ①All the patients were given routine treatment according to treatment guideline of cerebrovascular disease after admission. Patients in the treatment group and placebo group received 20 mg/d fluoxetine and placebo (component: vitamin C) for 8 weeks, respectively. ② Neurologic deficit was assessed according to 24-item Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HAMD) and Activity of Daily Living Scale (ADL) before and at 2,4 and 8 weeks after test, separately; Meanwhile, the levels of platelet 5-HT and plasma 5-HT were determined. Grading criteria of HAMD intergral depression: non-depression < 8 points; mild depression 8–20 points; moderate depression 21–35 points; severe depression > 35 points. ADL was assessed with Barthel index score (full mark 100 points). Higher points indicated better incidence and smaller dependence. Neurologic deficit score was made according to scoring criteria of neurologic deficit formulated in 1995 4th National Cerebrovascular Disease Conference: a score of 0–15 indicated a mild focal neurologic deficit, a score of 16–30 a moderate focal neurologic deficit, and a score of 31–45 a severe focal deficit. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Scores of HAMD, ADL and neurologic deficit, and levels of plasma and platelet 5-HT of patients from 2 groups before, 2,4 and 8 weeks after test. RESULRS: Seventy-three of 90 randomized patients participated in the final analysis. In the treatment group, 11 patients dropped out due to insufficient clinical response (n =4), somatic side effects (n =2), intervening medical illness (n =1), hypomania (n =3), and other reasons (n =2). In the placebo group, 6 patients existed due to insufficient clinical response (n =2), somatic side effects (n =1) and other reasons (n =3). ① Before treatment, there were no significant differences in scores of HAMD, DAL and neurologic deficit in patients between two groups (P > 0.05). After 8 weeks of treatment, the scores of HAMD, DAL and neurologic deficit in the treatment group were significantly different from those in the placebo group (12.6±5.3 vs. 16.3 ±3.7; 8.6±6.4 vs. 11.2±6.4; 60.4±12.5 vs. 52.3±13.5, P < 0.01). ② After 8 weeks of treatment, platelet 5-HT level of patients in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the placebo group [(325.3± 110.5) mg/L vs. (653.6±138.4) mg/L, P < 0.05], while there were no significant differences in plasma 5-HT between two groups (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: Early fluoxetine treatment obviously retards PSD. 4Engineering an enthesis-like graft for rotator cuff repair:An approach to fabricate highly biomimetic scaffold capable of zone-specifically releasing stem cell differentiation inducers显示文摘Rotator cuff(RC)attaches to humerus across a triphasic yet continuous tissue zones(bone-fibrocartilage-tendon),termed“enthesis”.Regrettably,rapid and functional enthesis regeneration is challenging after RC tear.The existing grafts bioengineered for RC repair are insufficient,as they were engineered by a scaffold that did not mimic normal enthesis in morphology,composition,and tensile property,meanwhile cannot simultaneously stimulate the formation of bone-fibrocartilage-tendon tissues.Herein,an optimized decellularization approach based on a vacuum aspiration device(VAD)was developed to fabricate a book-shaped decellularized enthesis matrix(O-BDEM).Then,three recombinant growth factors(CBP-GFs)capable of binding collagen were synthesized by fusing a collagen-binding peptide(CBP)into the N-terminal of BMP-2,TGF-β3,or GDF-7,and zone-specifically tethered to the collagen of O-BDEM to fabricate a novel scaffold(CBP-GFs/O-BDEM)satisfying the above-mentioned requirements.After ensuring the low immunogenicity of CBP-GFs/O-BDEM by a novel single-cell mass cytometry in a mouse model,we interleaved urine-derived stem cell-sheets into this CBP-GFs/O-BDEM to bioengineer an enthesis-like graft.Its high-performance on regenerating enthesis was determined in a canine model.These findings indicate this CBP-GFs/O-BDEM may be an excellent scaffold for constructing enthesis-like graft to patch large/massive RC tears,and provide breakthroughs in fabricating graded interfacial tissue.Can Chen Qiang Shi Muzhi Li Yang Chen Tao Zhang Yan Xu Yunjie Liao Shulin Ding Zhanwen Wang Xing Li Chunfeng Zhao Lunquan Sun Jianzhong Hu Hongbin Lu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,10:4
5The efficacy and safety of pramipexole ER versus IR in Chinese patients with Parkinson’s disease: a randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, parallel-group study显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the non-inferiority of pramipexole extended-release(ER)versus immediate-release(IR)in Chinese patients with Parkinson’s disease(PD)in a double-blind,randomized,parallel-group study.Methods:Subjects were Chinese patients with idiopathic PD with diagnosis≥2 years prior to trial,age≥30 years old at diagnosis,and Modified Hoehn and Yahr score 2-4 during‘on’-time.Subjects received treatment with pramipexole ER(n=234)or IR(n=239).Non-inferiority was based on the primary endpoint,the change from baseline to end of maintenance(week 18)in the UPDRS(Parts II+III)total score.Results:For the primary endpoint,the adjusted mean changes(standard error)of UPDRS Parts II+III at week 18 were−13.81(0.655)and−13.05(0.643)for ER and IR formulations,respectively,using ANCOVA adjusted for treatment and centre(fixed effect)and baseline(covariate).The adjusted mean between group difference was 0.8 for the 2-sided 95%CI(−1.047,2.566).Since the lower limit of the 2-sided 95%CI(−1.047)for treatment difference was higher than the non-inferiority margin of−4,non-inferiority between pramipexole ER and IR was demonstrated.The incidence of adverse events(AEs)was 68.8%in the ER arm and 73.6%in the IR arm with few severe AEs(ER:2.1%;IR:3.8%).Conclusion:Based on the UPDRS II+III score,pramipexole ER was non-inferior to pramipexole IR.The safety profiles of pramipexole ER and IR were similar.These results were based on comparable mean daily doses and durations of treatment for both formulations.Ying Wang Shenggang Sun Suiqiang Zhu Chunfeng Liu Yiming Liu Qing Di Huifang Shang Yan Ren Changhong Lu Mark Forrest Gordon Nolwenn Juhel Shengdi Chen for the Pramipexole ER Study Team 2014Translational Neurodegeneration2014,3,1:3
6Effects ofβ-alanine on intestinal development and immune performance of weaned piglets显示文摘Beta-alanine is an important amino acid involved in several metabolic reactions in the body.The study aimed to investigate the effect ofβ-alanine supplementation on intestinal development and the immune performance of weaned piglets.Thirty-two 21-day-old healthy weaned piglets(half female and half male;Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire)with an initial body weight of 8.11±0.21 kg were randomly divided into 4 groups with 8 replicates of 1 pig each.The control group was fed a basal diet and the three experimental treatment groups were fed diets supplemented with 300,600 and 1,200 mg/kgβ-alanine,respectively.The trial lasted 28 days and the diets fed were divided into 2 phases:the late lactation period(day 1 to 14)and the nursery period(day 15 to 28),during which the weaned piglets had free access to food and water.The regulatory effects ofβ-alanine were further investigated in vitro using organoids obtained from the jejunum of piglets.In vivo,the addition ofβ-alanine to the diet had no significant effect on the growth performance of weaned piglets(P>0.05),but significantly reduced serum levels of immunoglobulin G(IgG)(P<0.01),immunoglobulin M(IgM)(P=0.005),and complement 3(C3)(P=0.017).The serum interleukin-6(IL-6)levels(P<0.01)were significantly reduced in the 1,200 mg/kg treatment group.The addition ofβ-alanine increased ileal villus height,with the most significant effect at a concentration of 300 mg/kg(P=0.041).The addition of 600 mg/kgβ-alanine significantly up-regulated the expression of superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity(P=0.020)and the zonula occludens-1(ZO-1)gene(P=0.049)in the jejunum.Diets supplemented with 300 mg/kgβ-alanine significantly increased the number of Ki67 positive cells in the jejunal crypts(P<0.01).In vitro,β-alanine increased the organoid budding rates(P=0.001)and the budding height of the crypt significantly(P=0.004).In conclusion,β-alanine can improve intestinal morphology and barrier function,reduce inflammatory responses and alleviate the adverse effects of weaning stress on piglet intestinal health.Linlin Chen Yan Zhong Xiangqin Ouyang Chunfeng Wang Lanmei Yin Jing Huang Yali Li Qiye Wang Junyan Xie Pengfei Huang Huansheng Yang Yulong Yin 2023Animal Nutrition2023,,1:2
7Research on the Characteristics of Hot Deformation in BT20 Titanium alloy and Its Optimum Spinning Temperature Range显示文摘Hot compression tests were conducted on a Gleeble-1500 simulator to investigate the hot deformation behavior of BT20 Ti alloy (Ti-6Al-2Zr-1Mo-1V) in the temperature range from 550 to 1000℃ at constant strain rate in the range of 0.01~1 s-1, and then the optimum spinning temperature range was determined. Moreover, tube spinning experiments were executed to verify the reasonability of the optimum temperature range. The results show that the flow stress declines gradually with increasing deformation temperature and decreasing strain rate. In α+β phase region the dynamic recrystallization is the main softening mechanism and in β phase region the hot deformation softening is controlled by dynamic recovery. In α+βphase region with reducing strain rate dynamic recrystallization is fully developed. 8Detecting Non-Stationarity for Auscultation Signal of Traditional Chinese Medicine显示文摘The information about the nonstationarity of the aus-cultation signal is utilized in this paper to objectively and auto-matically identify healthy people and patients with qi-deficiency or yin-deficiency. In order to characterize the nonstationarity of the sound signal,the nonlinear cross-prediction method is used to extract features from the signal. A feature selection method based on conditional mutual information maximization criterion (CMIM) is implemented to find an optimal feature set. By means of the support vector machine (SVM) classifier,three common states (healthy,qi-deficiency and yin-deficiency) in traditional Chinese medicine are distinguished using the feature set,and a satisfactory classification accuracy of 80% is achieved in the experiment. 9Effects of levodopa on dopaminergic neurons and induced dyskinesia A radio-imaging study显示文摘BACKGROUND: Radio-imaging has been used in neurological diagnosis,in particular for extrapyramidal disease.Moreover,it has been extensively utilized for early diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease (PD) patients and in animal studies.However,it has rarely been utilized to assess drug-induced side effects in PD.OBJECTIVE: To investigate changes in dopamine transporter expression in a rat model of PD through the use of radio-imaging taking 99mTc-TRODAT-1 as an imaging agent,and to explore the effect of levodopa (L-dopa) on dopaminergic neurons and the possible mechanisms of dyskinesia induction.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING: A randomized,controlled,animal study was performed at the Laboratory of Department of Nuclear Medicine,Soochow University from April 2006 to June 2007.MATERIALS: 6-hydroxydopamine was purchased from Sigma,USA and L-dopa was purchased from Shanghai Fuda Pharmaceutical,China.99mTcO4-fresh elutriant was provided by the Department of Nuclear Medicine,First Hospital Affiliated to Soochow University.TRODAT-1 image kit was provided by Jiangsu Atomic Energy Research Establishment,China.The SN-695B radioimmunoassay gamma counter was purchased from Shanghai Hesuo Rihuan Photoelectric Instrument,China.The AZ-CA256eZ-Scope portable γ camera was purchased from Anzai Medical,Japan.METHODS: A total of 34 healthy,male,Sprague Dawley rats were selected.Thirty were used to establish a PD model by injecting 6-hydroxydopamine into the right medial forebrain bundle,and four were injected with normal saline and served as the sham-surgery group.At the end of 4 weeks,21 successful PD models were selected and randomly assigned to the L-dopa (n = 15,20 mg/kg per day),model (n = 6,normal saline),and sham-surgery (n = 4,no treatment) groups.After 1 month of treatment,involuntary movement was evaluated twice weekly in each rat.A total of 0.2 mL 99mTc-TRODAT-1 was injected into the tail vein 2 days following drug termination,and images of dopamine transporters were acquired 2 hours later.The rats were sacrificed and the ratios of specific radioactivity uptake were calculated.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Manifestations of abnormal involuntary movement (AIM) were observed and total AIM scores were calculated.Images of dopamine transporters were acquired using an eZ-Scope portable γ camera,and radioactive γ quantification of 99mTc-TRODAT-1 in the rat brains was assayed.The ratios of the left and right corpora striata were determined.The number and function of dopamine transporters was evaluated according to specific radioactivity uptake ratio (R) from the left and right corpora striata.RESULTS: Of 15 PD rats,nine exhibited AIM following L-dopa treatment: five scored > 20,i.e.,severe grade,four scored 8–16,mild grade,and the remaining exhibited normal behavior.There were no differences in specific radioactivity uptake of dopamine transporter between the left and right corpora striata in the sham-surgery rats,and the images were clear and symmetrically distributed.Specific radioactivity uptake of the normal side (left) was significantly greater than the lesioned side (right) in the model group rats (P < 0.01),and the R value was significantly increased compared with the sham-surgery group (P < 0.01).The radio-ligand accumulation in the right corpus striatum was sparse.In the L-dopa group,specific radioactivity uptake was significantly decreased in the lesioned (right) side of the AIM rats,and the R value was increased compared with the model group (P < 0.05).The amount of radio-ligand in the right corpus striatum was diminished.The R value was significantly reduced in the non-AIM rats compared with the AIM rats (P < 0.05),and specific radioactivity uptake was significantly increased in the lesioned (right) side compared with the normal side (P < 0.05).Moreover,radio-ligand accumulation was observed in the right corpus striatum,and differences in radio-ligand accumulation between the two sides were reduced.CONCLUSION: Following L-dopa treatment,the number and function of dopamine transporter in some PD rats were reduced.L-dopa was shown to be toxic to dopaminergic neurons and induced dyskinesia.Xiuying Cai Yan Kong Hongru Zhao Bin Zhang Chunfeng Liu 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,2:1

11African swine fever virus MGF505-3R inhibits cGAS-STING-mediated IFN-βpathway activation by degrading TBK1显示文摘African swine fever virus(ASFV)is an important pathogen causing acute infectious disease in domestic pigs and wild boars that seriously endangers the global swine industry.As ASFV is structurally complex and encodes a large number of functional proteins,no effective vaccine has been developed to date.Thus,dissecting the mechanisms of immune escape induced by ASFV proteins is crucial.A previous study showed that the ASFV-encoded protein is an important factor in host immunity.In this study,we identified a negative regulator,MGF505-3R,that significantly downregulated cGAS/STING-and poly(dG:dC)-mediated IFN-βand interferon stimulation response element(ISRE)reporter activity and suppressed IFNB1 and IFIT2 mRNA levels.In addition,TBK1,IRF3 and IκBαphosphorylation levels were also inhibited.Mechanistically,MGF505-3R interacted with cGAS/TBK1/IRF3 and targeted TBK1 for degradation,thereby disrupting the cGAS-STING-mediated IFN-βsignaling pathway,which appears to be highly correlated with autophagy.Knockdown MGF505-3R expression enhanced IFN-βand IL-1βproduction.Taken together,our study revealed a negative regulatory mechanism involving the MGF505-3R-cGAS-STING axis and provided insights into an evasion strategy employed by ASFV that involves autophagy and innate signaling pathways.Mingyang Cheng Jiawei Luo Yuetong Duan Yu Yang Chunwei Shi Yu Sun Yiyuan Lu Junhong Wang Xiaoxu Li Jianzhong Wang Nan Wang Wentao Yang Yanlong Jiang Guilian Yang Yan Zeng Chunfeng Wang Xin Cao 2022Animal Diseases2022,2,3:1

13Interface synergistic effects induced multi-mode luminescence显示文摘Mechanoluminescence(ML)has become the most promising material for broad applications in display and sensing devices,in which ZnS is the most commonly studied one due to its stable and highly repetitive ML performances.In this work,we have successfully prepared the biphase ZnS on a large scale through the facile in-air molten salt protection strategy.The obtained biphase has the best ML properties,which is mainly attributed to the synergistic effects of piezo-photonic,defect,and interface dislocations.DFT calculations have confirmed that the defects activate the local S and Zn sites and reduce the energy barrier for electron transfer.The much stronger X-ray induced luminescence than the commercial scintillator is also reached.The application of ZnS particles in both papers and inks delivers superior performance.Meanwhile,ZnS particles based screen printing ink is able to directly print on paper,plastic and other carriers to form clear marks.These proposed paper and ink hold great potentials in applications of information security and anti-counterfeiting based on the multi-mode luminescence properties.This work provides a new avenue to understand and realize the high-performance multi-mode luminescence,inspiring more future works to extend on other ML materials and boosting their practical applications.Ronghua Ma Chunfeng Wang Wei Yan Mingzi Sun Jianxiong Zhao Yuantian Zheng Xu Li Longbiao Huang Bing Chen Feng Wang Bolong Huang Dengfeng Peng 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:1
14Contribution of non-Saccharomyces yeasts to aroma-active compound production,phenolic composition and sensory profile in Chinese Vidal icewine显示文摘To acquire candidate non-Saccharomyces strains for preparation of high-quality Vidal icewine,11 representative indigenous non-Saccharomyces strains were selected for analyzing their production of organic acids,phenolic compounds,aroma-active compounds and evaluating their sensory profile in Vidal juice.The results showed that the contents of organic acids in the wines were controlled and balanced well by the non-Saccharomyces strains as well as polyphenol concentrations were well improved during the fermentation.The strains differed from each other in their ability to produce aroma compounds,causing diversity and complexity of aroma characteristics in wine.Fermentation by Saccharomycopsis crataegensis YC30(Sc)and Hanseniaspora uvarum QTX22(Hu)could enhance the sweet and floral notes in Vidal icewine,especially Sc,which has never been reported before.It can not only enrich the aroma categories,but also increase the content ofδ-decalactone,γ-decalactone,ethyl isobutyrate,ethyl butyrate,phenethyl acetic acid,etc.The evaluation and optimization of non-Saccharomyces yeast strains could provide theoretical basis for the improvement of ice wine quality,and supply new ideas and strategies for the brewing of ice wine.Qian Ge Chunfeng Guo Yue Yan Xiangyu Sun Tingting Ma Jing Zhang Caihong Li Chunlin Gou Tianli Yue Yahong Yuan 2022Food Bioscience2022,46,2:1
15Air stable Fe nanostructures with high magnetization prepared by reductive annealing显示文摘Monodispersed Fe nanospindles and nanoparticles were successfully synthesized through environmentfriendly reductive annealing ?-Fe OOH nanorods. Effects of annealing temperature and reaction atmosphere on microstructure, phase, and magnetic property of Fe nanostructures were investigated.The as-obtained pure Fe nanoparticles with mean size of 45 nm had a high saturation magnetization up to 207 emu/g, close to that of bulk material(218 emu/g), which exhibited high air stability. 16New dual functional CYP450 gene involves in isoflavone biosynthesis in Glycine max L.显示文摘Glycine max L.accumulates a large amount of isoflavonoid compounds,which is beneficial for plant defense,plant-microbe symbiotic interactions,and human health.Several CYP450 subfamily genes are involved in the flavonoid biosynthetic pathway in plants.In the present study,we found 24 CYP82 subfamily genes were differentially expressed in various tissues of soybean,in Phytophthora sojae-infected soybean varieties and in soybean hairy roots treated with cell wall glucan elicitor.Six of them(GmCYP82A2,GmCYP82A3,GmCYP82A4,GmCYP82A23,GmCYP82C20 and GmCYP82D26)were co-expressed with other known isoflavonoid pathway genes in soybean.Their enzymatic activity in yeast feeding assays showed that only GmCYP82D26 was able to convert naringenin to daidzein with both aryl migration and dehydration function.When GmCYP82D26 was over-expressed in soybean hairy roots,the contents of the two major isoflavonoid aglycones in soybean(daidzein and genistein)were reduced,but total flavonoids were not affected.When GmCYP82D26 was suppressed by RNAi in the hairy roots,daidzein content was decreased but genistein content was increased,with unchanged total flavonoid content.GmCYP82D26 was found to be localized in the endoplasmic reticulum at subcellular level when transiently expressed in tobacco leaf epidermis.GmCYP82D26 gene was preferentially expressed in roots,with low expression level in other tissues in soybean.Homology modeling and molecular docking showed that GmCYP82D26 could form hydrogen bond with both HEM and naringenin at C5-OH and C4 carbonyl.All these results indicated that GmCYP82D26 possesses new and dual enzymatic activity,which bridges the two branches(daidzein and genistein branch)of isoflavonoid pathway in soybean.Yaying Xia Chunfeng He Su Yan Jinyue Liu Haijun Huang Xue Li Qian Su Wenbo Jiang Yongzhen Pang 2023Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2023,8,1:0
17Tris(trimethylsilyl) borate as an electrolyte additive for high-voltage lithium-ion batteries using LiNi_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)Co_(1/3)O_2 cathode显示文摘The influence of tris(trimethylsilyl) borate(TMSB) as an electrolyte additive on lithium ion cells have been studied using Li/Li Co_(1/3)Ni_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)O_2 cells at a higher voltage,4.7 V versus Li/Li^+.1 wt% TMSB can dramatically reduce the capacity fading that occurs during cycling at room temperature(RT) and elevated temperature(60 °C).After 150 cycles at 1 C rate(1 C = 278 m Ah/g),the capacity retention of Li/Li Co_(1/3)Ni_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)O_2 is up to near 72% in the electrolyte with TMSB added,while it is only about 35% in the baseline electrolyte.The electrochemical behaviors,the surface chemistry and structure of Li/Li Co_(1/3)Ni_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)O_2 cathode are characterized with charge/discharge test,linear sweep voltammetry(LSV),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),thermal gravimetric analyses(TGA),scanning electron microscope(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).These analysis results reveal that the addition of TMSB is able to protectively modify the electrode CEI film in a manner that suppresses electrolyte decomposition and degradation of electrode surface structure,even though at both a higher voltage of 4.7 V and an elevated temperature of 60 °C.Chunfeng Yan Ying Xu Jianrong Xia Cuiran Gong Kerong Chen 2016Journal of Energy Chemistry2016,25,4:0
18Plasma exchange therapy for acute necrotizing encephalopathy of childhood显示文摘Importance Acute necrotizing encephalopathy(ANE)is a rare disease with high mortality.Plasma exchange(PLEX)has recently been reported to treat ANE of childhood(ANEC),but its efficacy is uncertain.Objective This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of PLEX on ANEC.Methods A retrospective study was conducted in four pediatric intensive care units from December 2014 to December 2020.All patients who were diagnosed with ANEC were included;however,these patients were excluded if their length of stay was less than 24 h.Participants were classified into PLEX and non-PLEX groups.Results Twenty-nine patients with ANEC were identified,10 in the PLEX group and 19 in the non-PLEX group.In the PLEX group,C-reactive protein,procalcitonin,alanine aminotransferase,and aspartate aminotransaminase levels were significantly lower after 3 days of treatment than before treatment(13.1 vs.8.0,P=0.043;9.8 vs.1.5,P=0.028;133.4 vs.31.9,P=0.028;282.4 vs.50.5,P=0.046,respectively).Nine patients(31.0%,9/29)died at discharge,and a significantly difference was found between the PLEX group and non-PLEX group[0 vs.47.4%(9/19),P=0.011].The median follow-up period was 27 months,and three patients were lost to follow-up.Thirteen patients(50.0%,13/26)died at the last follow-up,comprising three(33.3%,3/9)in the PLEX group and ten(58.8%,10/17)in the non-PLEX group,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P=0.411).Three patients(10.3%,3/29)fully recovered.Interpretation PLEX may reduce serum C-reactive protein and procalcitonin levels and improve liver function in the short term.PLEX may improve the prognosis of ANEC,and further studies are needed.Kechun Li Tao Zhang Gang Liu Ping Jin Yeqing Wang Lijie Wang Meixian Xu Chunyi Liu Yingchao Liu Tao Zhou Yan Xu Ying Yang Boliang Fang Xin Yang Chunfeng Liu Suyun Qian 2021Pediatric Investigation2021,5,2:0
19Effect of deformation temperature on the hot compressive behavior of metal matrix composites with misaligned whiskers显示文摘A multi-inclusion cell model is used to investigate the effect of deformation temperature and whisker rotation on the hot compressive behavior of metal matrix composites with misaligned whiskers. Numerical results show that deformation temperature influences the work-hardening behavior of the matrix and the rotation behavior of the whiskers. With increasing temperature, the work hardening rate of the matrix decreases, but the whisker rotation angle increases. Both whisker rotation and the increase of deformation temperature can induce reductions in the load supported by whisker and the load transferred from matrix to whisker. Additionally, it is found that during large strain deformation at higher temperatures, the enhancing of deformation temperature can reduce the effect of whisker rotation. Meanwhile, the stress-strain behavior of the composite is rather sensitive to deformation temperature. At a relatively lower temperature (150°C), the composite exhibits work hardening due to the matrix work hardening, but at relatively higher temperatures (300°C and above), the composite shows strain softening due to whisker rotation. It is also found that during hot compression at higher temperatures, the softening rate of the composite decreases with increasing temperature.
