| 3 | Density estimated physicochemical properties of alanine-based ionic liquid [C_7mim][Ala] and its application in selective transesterification of soybean oil显示文摘Amino acid ionic liquid (AAIL) based on alanine, 1-n-heptyl-3-methylimidazolium alanine ([C7mim][Ala]), has been prepared and characterized. Since the IL can form strong hydrogen bonds with water, trace amount of water is a problematic impurity in the IL. Using the standard addition method (SAM), the densities were measured in the temperature range from 293.15 to 343.15±0.05 K. On the basis of the experimental data of density, the surface tension , molar volume, and the molecular volume Vm, molar enthalpy of vaporization lgHm0, and the thermal expansion coefficients , for [C7mim][Ala] were estimated using semi-empirical methods. Also the interstice model has been verified with good accordance. Then the [C7mim][Ala] was taken as catalyst in the transesterification reaction with fatty acid, where soybean oil was used as raw material and methanol as reactant. The amount of catalyst, alcohol consumption, reaction time, temperature and other factors of the reaction were investigated. Using GC determination, the conversions were calculated by the internal standard method. | 4 | Effect of agitation on the characteristics of air dense medium fluidization显示文摘In order to study the effect of agitation on the characteristics of air dense medium fluidization, we designed and constructed an agitation device. Analyses were then conducted on the fluidization characteristics curves, the bed density stability and the average bubble rise velocity Uaunder different agitation conditions. The results indicated that a lower bed pressure drop(without considering lower gas velocity in a fixed bed stage) and higher minimum fluidized velocity are achieved with increasing agitation speed.The height d(distance between the lower blades and air distribution plate) at which the agitation paddle was located had a considerable effect on the stability of the bed density at 9.36 cm/s < U < 10.70 cm/s. The higher the value of d, the better the stability, and the standard deviation of the bed density fluctuation r dropped to 0.0364 g/cm^3 at the ideal condition of d = 40 mm. The agitation speed also had a significant influence on the fluidization performance, and r was only 0.0286 g/cm^3 at an agitation speed of N = 75 r/min. The average bubble rise velocity decreased significantly with increasing agitation speed under the operating condition of 1.50 cm/s < U–U_(mf)< 3.50 cm/s. | 8 | Effect of etoposide plus thalidomide as maintenance therapy on progression-free survival of elderly patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Objective The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of etoposide plus thalidomide as maintenance therapy for elderly patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) without disease progression after first-line chemotherapy.Methods After four to six cycles of platinum-based first-line therapy, 64 elderly patients with advanced NSCLC without disease progression who were treated in the General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region(China) from 2014 to 2016 were enrolled in this study. According to the different maintenance treatment methods, patients were divided as having received etoposide plus thalidomide therapy(treatment group, n = 32) and best supportive care(control group, n = 32). Disease control and progression-free survival(PFS) were compared between the two groups. Results The recent curative effect objective response rates of the treatment group and the control group were 31.3% and 3.1%, respectively, and the disease control rates were 71.9% and 31.3%, respectively. The Kaplan-Meier survival curves of the two groups were significantly different(χ2 = 26.532, P = 0.001). The median PFS for the treatment group and control group was 6.0 months [95% confidence interval(CI) = 4.3–7.9 months] and 3.2 months(95% CI = 2.6–3.8 months), respectively. | 10 | Unbiased transcriptomic analyses reveal distinet effects of immune deficiency in CNS function with and without injury显示文摘The mammalian central nervous system (CNS) is considered an immune privileged system as it is separated from the periphery by the blood brain barrier (BBB). Yet, immune functions have been postulated to heavily influence the functional state of the CNS, especially after injury or during neurodegeneration. There is controversy regarding whether adaptive immune responses are beneficial or detrimental to CNS injury repair. In this study, we utilized immunocompromised SCID mice and subjected them to spinal cord injury (SCI). We analyzed motor function, electrophysiology, histochemistry, and performed unbiased RNA-sequencing. SCID mice displayed improved CNS functional recovery compared to WT mice after SCI. Weighted gene-coexpression network analysis (WGCNA) of spinal cord transcriptomes revealed that SCID mice had reduced expression of immune function-related genes and heightened expression of neural transmission-related genes after SCI, which was confirmed by immunohistochemical analysis and was consistent with better functional recovery. Transcriptomic analyses also indicated heightened expression of neurotransmission-related genes before injury in SCID mice, suggesting that a steady state of immune-deficiency potentially led to CNS hyper-connectivity. Consequently, SCID mice without injury demonstrated worse performance in Morris water maze test. Taken together, not only reduced inflammation after injury but also dampened steady-state immune function without injury heightened the neurotransmission program, resulting in better or worse behavioral outcomes respectively. | 14 | 依托泊苷胶囊联合顺铂或卡铂治疗老年小细胞肺癌的临床观察(英文)显示文摘Objective: We aimed to explore the efficacy and safety of etoposide capsule combined with cisplatin or carboplatin in the treatment of elderly patients with small cell lung cancer(SCLC). Methods: From October 2011 to November 2013, 32 elderly patients(71–79 years old) with histopathologically confirmed SCLC in General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region(China) were enrolled in the research. The patients were administrated with lastet capsule 150–175 mg, d1–5, combined with cisplatin 20 mg/m2 d1–3 or carboplatin AUC = 5, applied over 2 days. Twenty-one days were 1 treatment cycle. Results: After treatments, 2 cases acquired complete response(CR), 19 cases acquired partial response(PR), 8 cases acquired stable disease(SD), and 3 cases had progression of disease(PD). The objective response rate was 65.6%(21/32), disease control rate was 90.6%(29/32). The median time of progression-free survival(PFS) was 6.9 months, the median survival time was 14.0 months, and 1 year survival rate was 62.4%. The main adverse reactions of I/II leukopenia and gastrointestinal reaction were observed. | 17 | Production of phenolic compounds in catalytic pyrolysis of bagasse lignin in the presence of Ca_(0.5)Pr_(0.5)FeO_(3)显示文摘Herein,sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate(SDBS)was used as a template to control the synthesis of Ca_(0.5)Pr_(0.5)FeO_(3).Its microstructure,composition,and morphology were detected via X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The properties of catalyzing bagasse lignin(BL)pyrolysis were determined by thermogravimetric analysis(TG)test and evaluation of a fixed bed alumina microreactor.The results show that the sample Ca_(0.5)Pr_(0.5)FeO_(3)regulated by SDBS has a cubic crystal phase,and the addition of SDBS does not cause phase transition.Moreover,when the SDBS concentration is 0.10 mol/L,the particle size is 200-500 nm and the specific surface area is 11.26 m^(2)/g.The yields of gas,liquid,and solid products in the BL catalytic pyrolysis are 39.58 wt%,26.76 wt%and 32.36 wt%,respectively.The contents of CO_(2)and CO decrease from 54.07%and 4.98%to 45.29%and 3.23%,respectively.The liquid products are mainly guaiacol,syringol,and phenol,and the total selectivity of phenols is 83.67%,accompanied by a small amount of non-aromatic oxygen-containing compounds(five-membered ring(furan)or ester).Compared with the BL pyrolysis and Ca_(0.5)Pr_(0.5)FeO_(3)catalytic pyrolysis products,the selectivity of guaiacol compounds increases by43.26%,while those of syringol compounds and phenylketones decrease by 30.08%and 3.39%,respectively.The selectivity of 2,6-dimethoxyphenol is 28.37%.After five catalytic pyrolysis-regeneration cycles,the characteristic peaks of the catalyst do not change significantly and the particles are uniform,suggesting that the catalyst has good crystal phase stability and regeneration stability. | Hongjing Han Qin Ge Mei Zhang Yanguang Chen Haiying Wang Yanan Zhang Yizhen Wang Hua Song Chunlei Zhang | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,2: | 0 |

| 20 | Progress in electrode materials for the industrialization of sodium-ion batteries显示文摘In recent years,sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)have received renewed attention due to the continued rise in lithium prices.SIBs are promising to replace lithium-ion batteries under various application scenarios,such as large-scale energy storage systems and low-speed electric vehicles.As the core of SIBs,electrode materials are the key factor demining the electrochemical performance.Key drawback,including cycle stability,air stability and energy density,are refraining the development of SIBs off-industrialization.For a systematic understanding on the development of SIBs,in this review,we summarized the progress of SIBs from the industrialization viewpoint,including the fabrication methods suitable for large scale production of electrode materials of SIBs,and the optimization strategies to improve electrochemical performance.Finally,we proposed promising directions for future development of electrode materials for SIBs toward industrialization. | Zhaoxin Guo Guangdong Qian Chunying Wang Ge Zhang Ruofan Yin Wei-Di Liu Rui Liu Yanan Chen | 2023 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2023,33,1: | 0 |
