1TOF-SIMS Study of the Hydrocarbon-generating Potential of Mineral-Bituminous Groundmass显示文摘The TOF-SIMS fragment peak ascription of organic and inorganic ions of mineral-bituminous groundmass of Jurassic source rocks in the Turpan-Hami and Junggar basins was studied by using the high-resolution Time of Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometer (TOF-SIMS). The characteristics of spectrum distribution and constitution of fragment ions of the mineral-bituminous groundmass are discussed; then the methods of evaluating its hydrocarbon-generating potential are developed. In addition, the typical parameters, XAL, Yox and ZAR, for indicating the hydrocarbon-generating potential of mineral-bituminous and other organic matter in source rocks are put forward to reflect the aliphatic, oxygenous, and aromatic structures. It is confirmed by Rock-Eval that these parameters are significant in evaluating hydrocarbon generation. 2Flexible lead-free BFO-based dielectric capacitor with large energy density,superior thermal stability,and reliable bending endurance显示文摘As an essential energy-stored device,the inorganic dielectric film capacitor plays an irreplaceable role in high-energy pulse power technology area.In this work,propelled by the challenge of overcoming the bottlenecks of inflexibility and inferior energy storage density of the pure BiFeO3 films,the mica with high bendability and thermal stability is adopted as substrate,and the relaxor ferroelectric(Sr_(0.7)Bi_(0.2))TiO_(3) is introduced to form solid solution to introduce relaxor behavior.The subsequently fabricated 0.3Bi(Fe_(0.95)Mn_(0.05))O_(3)-0.7(Sr_(0.7)Bi_(0.2))TiO_(3)(BFMO-SBT)thin film capacitor exhibits a high recoverable energy storage density(W_(rec)=61 J cm^(-3))and a high efficiency(η=75%)combined with a fast discharging rate(23.5 μs)due to the large polarization difference(ΔP=59.4 μC cm^(-2)),high breakdown strength(E_(b)=3000 kV cm^(-1)),and the strong relaxor dispersion(γ=1.78).Of particular importance is the capacitor presents excellent stability of energy storage performance,including a wide working temperature window of -50-200℃,fatigue endurance of 108 cycles,and frequency range of 500 Hz-20 kHz.Furthermore,there are no obviously deteriorations on energy storage capability under various bending states and after 104 times of mechanical bending cycles.All these results indicate that BFMO-SBT on mica film capacitor has potential application in the future flexible electronics.Changhong Yang Jin Qian Panpan Lv Haitao Wu Xiujuan Lin Kun Wang Jun Ouyang Shifeng Huang Xin Cheng Zhenxiang Cheng 2020Journal of Materiomics2020,6,1:4
3The development of a sensitive fluorescent protein-based transcript reporter for high throughput screening of negative modulators of lncRNAs显示文摘While the human genome is pervasively transcribed,<2%of the human genome is transcribed into protein-coding mRNAs,leaving most of the transcripts as noncoding RNAs,such as microRNAs and long-noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs),which are critical components of epigenetic regulation.lncRNAs are emerging as critical regulators of gene expression and genomic stability.However,it remains largely unknown about how lncRNAs are regulated.Here,we develop a highly sensitive and dynamic reporter that allows us to identify and/or monitor negative modulators of lncRNA transcript levels in a high throughput fashion.Specifically,we engineer a fluorescent fusion protein by fusing three copies of the PEST destruction domain of mouse ornithine decarboxylase(MODC)to the C-terminal end of the codon-optimized bilirubin-inducible fluorescent protein,designated as dBiFP,and show that the dBiFP protein is highly destabilized,compared with the commonly-used eGFP protein.We further demonstrate that the dBiFP signal is effectively down-regulated when the dBiFP and mouse lncRNA H19 chimeric transcript is silenced by mouse H19-specific siRNAs.Therefore,our results strongly suggest that the dBiFP fusion protein may serve as a sensitive and dynamic transcript reporter to monitor the inhibition of lncRNAs by microRNAs,synthetic regulatory RNA molecules,RNA binding proteins,and/or small molecule inhibitors so that novel and efficacious inhibitors targeting the epigenetic circuit can be discovered to treat human diseases such as cancer and other chronic disorders.Zongyue Zeng Bo Huang Shifeng Huang Ruyi Zhang Shujuan Yan Xinyi Yu Yi Shu Chen Zhao Jiayan Lei Wenwen Zhang Chao Yang Ke Wu Ying Wu Liping An Xiaojuan Ji Cheng Gong Chengfu Yuan Linghuan Zhang Wei Liu Yixiao Feng Bo Zhang Zhengyu Dai Yi Shen Xi Wang Wenping Luo Rex C.Haydon Hue H.Luu Lan Zhou Russell R.Reid Tong-Chuan He Xingye Wu 2018Genes & Diseases2018,5,1:4
4Depression compromises antiviral innate immunity via the AVP-AHI1-Tyk2 axis显示文摘Depression is a serious public-health issue.Recent reports have suggested higher susceptibility to viral infections in depressive patients.However,how depression affects antiviral innate immune signaling remains unknown.Here,we revealed a reduction in expression of Abelson helper integration site 1(AHI1)in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)and macrophages from the patients with major depressive disorder(MDD),which leads to attenuated antiviral immune response.We found that depression-related arginine vasopressin(AVP)induces reduction of AHI1 in macrophages.Further studies demonstrated that AHI1 is a critical stabilizer of basal type-I-interferon(IFN-I)signaling.Mechanistically,AHI1 recruits OTUD1 to deubiquitinate and stabilize Tyk2,while AHI1 reduction downregulates Tyk2 and IFN-I signaling activity in macrophages from both MDD patients and depression model mice.Interestingly,we identified a clinical analgesic meptazinol that effectively stimulates AHI1 expression,thus enhancing IFN-I antiviral defense in depression model mice.Our study promotes the understanding of the signaling mechanisms of depression-mediated antiviral immune dysfunction,and reveals meptazinol as an enhancer of antiviral innate immunity in depressive patients.Hong-Guang Zhang Bin Wang Yong Yang Xuan Liu Junjie Wang Ning Xin Shifeng Li Ying Miao Qiuyu Wu Tingting Guo Yukang Yuan Yibo Zuo Xiangjie Chen Tengfei Ren Chunsheng Dong Jun Wang Hang Ruan Miao Sun Xingshun Xu Hui Zheng 2022Cell Research2022,32,10:3

6Microstructure evolution,mechanical properties and diffusion behaviour of Mg-6Zn-2Gd-0.5Zr alloy during homogenization显示文摘The microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of Mg-6 Zn-2 Gd-0.5 Zr alloy during homogenization treatment were investigated. The as-cast alloy was found to be composed of dendritic primaryα-Mg matrix, α-Mg +W(Mg_3Zn_3Gd_2) eutectic along grain boundaries, and icosahedral quasicrystalline I(Mg_3Zn_6Gd) phase within α-Mg matrix. During homogenization process, α-Mg +W(Mg_3Zn_3Gd_2) eutectic and I phase gradually dissolved into a-Mg matrix, while some rod-like rare earth hydrides(GdH2)formed within α-Mg matrix. Both the tensile yield strength and the elongation showed a similar tendency as a function of homogenization temperature and holding time. The optimized homogenization parameter was determined to be 505℃ for 16 h according to the microstructure evolution. 7Screening of Transgenic Soybean Transformed by Means of Pollen-tube Using Kanamycin显示文摘Kanamycin was used to screen T0 seeds of the variety Dongnong 46 transformed by means of pollen-tube method. The results showed that 400 mg·L-1 kanamycin could inhibit growth of non-transgenic plants, and 2 positive plants were gotten combined with Gus dyeing and PCR detection. 8The Contribution of Opal-Associated Phosphorus to Bioavailable Phosphorus in Surface and Core Sediments in the East China Sea显示文摘To improve the burial flux calculations of bioavailable phosphorus(P) and study opal-associated P(Opal-P) in the East China Sea(ECS), surface and core sediments were collected in the Changjiang Estuary(CE) and the south of the Cheju Island. In this study, sedimentary P was operationally divided into seven different forms using modified sedimentary extraction(SEDEX) technique: LSor-P(exchangeable or loosely sorbed P), Fe-P(easily reducible or reactive ferric Fe-bound P), CFA-P(authigenic carbonate fluorapatite and biogenic apatite and CaCO_3-bound P), Detr-P(detrital apatite), Org-P(organic P), Opal-P and Ref-P(refractory P). The data revealed that the concentrations of the seven different P forms rank as Detr-P > CFA-P > Org-P > Ref-P > Opal-P > Fe-P > LSor-P in surface sediments and CFA-P > Detr-P > Org-P > Ref-P > Fe-P > Opal-P > LSor-P in core sediments. The distributions of the total phosphorus(TP), TIP, CFA-P, Detr-P are similar and decrease from the CE to the south of the Cheju Island. Meanwhile, Org-P and Opal-P exhibit different distribution trends; this may be affected by the grain size and TOM. The concentrations of potentially bioavailable P are 9.6-13.0 μmol g^(-1) and 10.0-13.6 μmol g^(-1), representing 61%-70% and 41%-64% of the TP in surface and core sediments, respectively. The concentrations of Opal-P are 0.6-2.3 μmol g^(-1) and 0.6-1.4 μmol g^(-1) in surface and core sediments, accounting for 5.3%-19.8% and 4.2%-10.6% of bioavailable P, respectively. The total burial fluxes of Opal-P and bioavailable P are 1.4×10~9 mol yr^(-1) and 1.1×10~10 mol yr^(-1) in the ECS, respectively. 9Unsuccessful letter–sound integration in English reading by native Chinese speakers: evidence from an event related potentials study显示文摘Integrating letters and sounds are essential for successful reading in alphabetic languages. It remains unclear if native speakers of non-alphabetic languages integrate letters and sounds in reading an alphabetic language in the same way as native alphabetic readers do.Chinese is a morpho-syllabic system(each character corresponds to one syllable) and contrasts sharply with alphabetic languages such as English. Several f MRI studies have shown that native Chinese speakers apply their native language system to read English words. By using the crossmodal mismatch negativity(MMN) paradigm, we directly investigated letter–sound integration for reading in English among native Chinese speakers. To investigate the effect of native language background on letter–sound integration in second language reading, a group of native Korean English learners served as a comparison group. We compared MMN responses between an auditory only condition(only vowels presented) and two audiovisual conditions(AV0,vowel presented synchronously with the corresponding letter; AV200, the letter presented 200 ms before the corresponding vowel) for both native Chinese and native Korean speakers. Native Chinese speakers demonstrated significantly attenuated MMN amplitudes in audiovisual conditions compared with the auditory only condition,regardless of their phonological decoding speed. In contrast, native Korean speakers showed amplified amplitude MMN in AV200 compared with that in the auditory only condition. The results suggest that native language may shape the brain responses of second language learners to reading a second language in the early stages. 19Genome sequencing and analysis of a granulovirus isolated from the Asiatic rice leafroller, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis显示文摘The complete genome of Cnaphalocrocis medinalis granulovirus(CnmeGV) from a serious migratory rice pest, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis(Lepidoptera: Pyralidae), was sequenced using the Roche 454 Genome Sequencer FLX system(GS FLX) with shotgun strategy and assembled by Roche GS De Novo assembler software. Its circular double-stranded genome is 111,246 bp in size with a high A+T content of 64.8% and codes for 118 putative open reading frames(ORFs). It contains 37 conserved baculovirus core ORFs, 13 unique ORFs, 26 ORFs that were found in all Lepidoptera baculoviruses and 42 common ORFs. The analysis of nucleotide sequence repeats revealed that the CnmeGV genome differs from the rest of sequenced GVs by a 23 kb and a 17 kb gene block inversions, and does not contain any typical homologous region(hr) except for a region of non-hr-like sequence. Chitinase and cathepsin genes, which are reported to have major roles in the liquefaction of the hosts, were not found in the CnmeGV genome, which explains why CnmeGV infected insects do not show the phenotype of typical liquefaction. Phylogenetic analysis,based on the 37 core baculovirus genes, indicates that CnmeGV is closely related to Adoxophyes orana granulovirus.
