| 2 | Developmental Genetics Analysis for Plant Height in indica Hybrid Rice Across Environments显示文摘The developmental genetics of plant height was analyzed from two groups of three-line indica hybrid rice at two environmental conditions based on the NCII design,using the additive-dominant developmental genetics models and the statistic methods.The results showed that the rice genotypes and environmental conditions could both affect plant height,and the effects of environment on plant height decreased gradually with plant development.Additive and dominant effects both governed the performance of plant height at all developmental stages.However,the degrees of effect varied among the rice genotypes.Moreover,the interaction between environments and genotypes also affected plant height.The genetic effects differed at most developmental stages.Furthermore,the expression of additive effect was more active than that of dominant effect.Conditional interaction effects with environment also influenced plant height during genetic development,especially at the early stage.Mid-parent heterosis(HMP) increased gradually with the developmental stage of plant height,and maximized at the latest stage,whereas the heterosis over the better parent(HBP) showed small differences among the genotypes,and kept stable at the later stage,with positive numeric value.At most developmental stages,conditional HMP was positively significant,while conditional HBP was negatively significant.All above results suggest that HMP and HBP have some new expressions in all developmental periods and the levels and directions are quite different. | PENG Tao ZHONG Bing-qiang LING Ying-hua YANG Zheng-lin ZHA Ren-ming XIE Rong LIU Cheng-yuan HE Guang-hua | 2009 | Rice science2009,16,2: | 14 |
| 3 | Management of granulomatous lobular mastitis: an international multidisciplinary consensus(2021 edition)显示文摘Granulomatous lobular mastitis(GLM) is a rare and chronic benign inflammatory disease of the breast. Difficulties exist in the management of GLM for many front-line surgeons and medical specialists who care for patients with inflammatory disorders of the breast. This consensus is summarized to establish evidence-based recommendations for the management of GLM. Literature was reviewed using PubMed from January 1, 1971 to July 31, 2020. Sixty-six international experienced multidisciplinary experts from 11 countries or regions were invited to review the evidence.Levels of evidence were determined using the American College of Physicians grading system, and recommendations were discussed until consensus. Experts discussed and concluded 30 recommendations on historical definitions,etiology and predisposing factors, diagnosis criteria, treatment, clinical stages, relapse and recurrence of GLM. GLM was recommended as a widely accepted definition. In addition, this consensus introduced a new clinical stages and management algorithm for GLM to provide individual treatment strategies. In conclusion, diagnosis of GLM depends on a combination of history, clinical manifestations, imaging examinations, laboratory examinations and pathology.The approach to treatment of GLM should be applied according to the different clinical stage of GLM. | 4 | Self-assembled core-shell polydopamine@MXene with synergistic solar absorption capability for highly efficient solar-to-vapor generation显示文摘As a renewable and environment-friendly technology for seawater desalination and wastewater purification,solar energy triggered steam generation is attractive to address the long-standing global water scarcity issues.However,practical utilization of solar energy for steam generation is severely restricted by the complex synthesis,low energy conversion efficiency,insufficient solar spectrum absorption and water extraction capability of state-of-the-art technologies.Here,for the first time,we report a facile strategy to realize hydrogen bond induced self-assembly of a polydopamine(PDA)@MXene microsphere photothermal layer for synergistically achieving wide-spectrum and highly efficient solar absorption capability(≈96%in a wide solar spectrum range of 250–1,500 nm wavelength).Moreover,such a system renders fast water transport and vapor escaping due to the intrinsically hydrophilic nature of both MXene and PDA,as well as the interspacing between core-shell microspheres.The solar-to-vapor conversion efficiencies under the solar illumination of 1 sun and 4 sun are as high as 85.2%and 93.6%,respectively.Besides,the PDA@MXene photothermal layer renders the system durable mechanical properties,allowing producing clean water from seawater with the salt rejection rate beyond 99%.Furthermore,stable light absorption performance can be achieved and well maintained due to the formation of ternary TiO2/C/MXene complex caused by oxidative degradation of MXene.Therefore,this work proposes an attractive MXene-assisted strategy for fabricating high performance photothermal composites for advanced solar-driven seawater desalination applications. | Xing Zhao Xiang-Jun Zha Li-Sheng Tang Jun-Hong Pu Kai Ke Rui-Ying Bao Zheng-ying Liu Ming-Bo Yang Wei Yang | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,1: | 10 |
| 5 | ANTI-HYPOXIA AND ANTI-OXIDATION EFFECTS OF AMINOPHYLLINE ON HUMAN WITH ACUTE HIGH-ALTITUDE EXPOSURE显示文摘Objective To investigate the anti-hypoxia and anti-oxidation effects of aminophylline on human with acute high- altitude exposure. Methods Totally 100 young male army members newly recruited from Sichuan province (400 meters above sea level) were enrolled. They were randomly divided into two groups: 50 in aminophylline group (A group) and 50 in control group (C group). A group and C group orally took aminophylline and placebo respectively for 10 days, 7 days before entering Lhasa (3 658 meters above sea level) by air and 3 days after it. Several parameters were measured at three time points: before drug taken, 7 days after drug taken, and 3 days after ascending high altitude. These parameters included serum levels of nitric oxide (NO), superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), hydrogen dioxide (H2O2), lactic acid (LA), as well as arterial oxygen saturation (SO2), arterial oxygen partial pressure (PaO2), and arterial carbon dioxide partial pressure (PaCO2). Statistical analysis was conducted to compare the difference between two groups with Stata 7.0 software system. Results There were no statistical differences between groups in hypoxia and oxidation indicators before and after drug taken in plain area. Three days after ascending high altitude, the serum levels of SOD, CAT, H2O2, LA, PaCO2 increased in both groups, yet to a much larger degree in C group than A group (P<0.01); and NO, SO2, PaO2 decreased more markedly in C group (P<0.05 for NO, P<0.0001 for SO2 and PaO2). | 8 | Nested-PCR assay for detection of Schistosoma japonicum infection in domestic animals显示文摘Background:Schistosomiasis japonica is a common zoonosis.Domestic animals are the primary source of infection and play an important role in disease transmission.The prevalence and infectivity of this disease in domestic animals in China have significantly decreased and,for this reason,diagnostics with a higher sensitivity have become increasingly necessary.It was reported that polymerase chain reaction(PCR)-based methods could be used to detect schistosome infection in humans and animals and presented a high sensitivity and specificity.The present study aimed to develop a PCR-based method for detection of Schistosoma japonicum infection in domestic animals.Methods:A specific nested-PCR assay was developed to detect S.japonicum infection in domestic animals via amplification of a 231-bp DNA fragment of retrotransposon SjR2.The developed assay was first used in sera and dry blood filter paper(DBFP)from goats and buffaloes at different time points of infection.Then,78 DBFPs from 39 artificially-infected bovines at 14 and 28 days post-infection and 42 DBFPs from schistosome-negative bovines from the city of Huangshan in the Anhui province were used to evaluate the diagnostic validity.Furthermore,this assay was used to detect S.japonicum infection in domestic animals in Dongzhi and Wangjiang counties.Results:The expected PCR product was detected in eggs and adult worms of S.japonicum and blood samples from S.japonicum-infected goats and water buffaloes,but not from Fasciola and Haemonchus contortus worms.The nested-PCR assay could detect the target S.japonicum DNA in DBFPs from goats and buffaloes after day 3 post-infection.The sensitivity in buffaloes at 14 and 28 days post-infection was 92.30%(36/39)and 100%(39/39),respectively.The specificity was 97.60%(41/42).The positivity rates in Dongzhi and Wangjiang counties were 6.00%and 8.00%in bovines and 22.00%and 16.67%in goats,respectively.The positivity rates in goats in both counties were higher than those in bovines with a significant difference in Dongzhi County but not in Wangjiang County(P<0.05 and P=0.23,respectively).Conclusions:Our results suggest that the developed nested-PCR assay may be used for the diagnosis of S.japonicum infection in domestic animals,and the control of S.japonicum infection in goats should be paid more attention. | Xin Zhang Chuan-Chuan He Jin-Ming Liu Hao Li Ke Lu Zhi-Qiang Fu Chuan-Gang Zhu Yi-Ping Liu Lai-Bao Tong De-bao Zhou Li Zha Yang Hong Ya-Mei Jin Jiao-Jiao Lin | 2017 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2017,6,1: | 4 |

| 10 | The Evening Complex and the Chromatin-Remodeling Factor PICKLE Coordinately Control Seed Dormancy by Directly Repressing DOG1 in Arabidopsis显示文摘Primary seed dormancy is acquired during seed development and maturation,which is important for plant fitness and survival.DELAY OF GERMINATION1(DOG1)plays a critical role in inducing seed dormancy.DOG1 expression increases rapidly during seed development,but the precise mechanism underlying this process remains elusive.In this study,we showed that mutants with a loss or reduced function of the chromatin-remodeling factor PICKLE(PKL)exhibit increased seed dormancy.PKL associates with DOG1 chromatin and inhibits its transcription.We found that PKL physically interacts with LUX ARRHYTHMO(LUX),a member of the evening complex(EC)of the circadian clock.Furthermore,LUX directly binds to a specific coding sequence of DOG1,and DOG1 acts genetically downstream of PKL and LUX.Mutations in either LUX or EARLY FLOWERING3(ELF3)encoding another member of the EC led to increased DOG1 expression and enhanced seed dormancy.Surprisingly,these phenotypes were abolished when the parent plants were grown under continuous light.In addition,we observed that loss of function of either PKL or LUX decreased H3K27me3 levels at the DOG1 locus.Taken together,our study reveals a regulatory mechanism in which EC proteins coordinate with PKL to transmit circadian signals for directly regulating DOG1 expression and seed dormancy during seed development. | Ping Zha Shuangrong Liu Yang Li Tingting Ma Liwen Yang Yanjun Jing Rongcheng Lin | 2020 | Plant Communications2020,1,2: | 3 |
| 11 | An Evolutionary Economic Geography Perspective on Types of Operation Development in West Lake, China显示文摘The types of operation play a key role in facilitating tourism consumption and economic development in a tourism destination. By adopting evolutionary economic geography theory, the paper analyzes the types of operation in West Lake Scenic Area from 1978 to 2013. First, an evolution process consisting of four stages is underpinned, and they are: the new establishment stage, the preliminary development stage, the speedup development stage, and the stabilized maturity stage. Specifically, the distinct characteristics associated with operation types are compared and evaluated at different stages throughout the process. The evolution trees are introduced to scrutinize types of operation development. The results of evolution trees demonstrate the substantial increase in both numbers and types. Second, by applying GIS spatial analysis, the paper also analyzes the spatial evolution characteristics on the types of operation, and the results unveil the co-existence of centripetal and centrifugal forces: the processes of spatial agglomeration and spatial dispersion. More specifically, we recognize the spatial process includes the emergence of node and concentration(1978–1995), the sparse distribution and intensity reduction(1996–2002), the patchy distribution and spatial agglomeration intensification(2003–2008), the dispersed distribution and core area agglomeration(2009–2013). Lastly, path dependence on resource endowment, government and market innovation, knowledge learning and spillover can reasonably explain the types of operation evolution. In conclusion, the evolutionary economic geography theories provide new theoretical and empirical perspectives for tourism policy analysis. | 12 | Selective electrocatalytic CO2 reduction enabled by SnO2 nanoclusters显示文摘The development of high-performance electrocatalysts holds the decisive key to the electrochemical CO2 reduction toward value-added products. Formic acid or formate is a desirable reduction product, but its selective production is often challenging. Tin based-materials have attracted great attention for formate production, and yet their performances are far from satisfactory. In this study, we reported the preparation of SnO2 nanoclusters from the controlled self-polymerization of dopamine together with SnO32-, followed by the mild-temperature calcination. The final product consisted of large primary particles that were further made of small secondary SnO2 nanocrystals. When evaluated as the electrocatalyst for CO2 reduction in 0.5 M NaHCO3, our material exhibited impressive activity, selectivity and stability for the selective CO2 reduction to formate. | 13 | Design and experiment of centralized pneumatic deep precision fertilization device for rice transplanter显示文摘To improve the precision of deep fertilization of paddy fields,a six-row centralized pneumatic deep precision fertilization device for a rice transplanter was designed.This device included a spiral fertilizer distribution system,centralized pneumatic fertilizer delivery system,an opener system,and a fertilization control system.The centralized airflow distribution method was used in the fertilizer delivery system to ensure that the airflow in each fertilizer pipe was evenly distributed.The rotational speeds of the power take-off(PTO)and fertilizer shaft were measured synchronously using photoelectric sensors and matched proportionately in real-time using PID closed-loop control algorithms to achieve precise fertilization rates at each working speed of the rice transplanter.There were two key considerations in the design of the control system to ensure precise fertilization.Firstly,a photoelectric sensor was used to measure the speed of the PTO;the high rotational speed of the PTO could provide a high signal frequency and improve the precision of the measurement of the transplanter’s working speed.Secondly,the fertilizer shaft speed measurement subprogram was set to sleep for a short period to reduce the vibration caused by the engine.During the tests of pneumatic fertilizer delivery system,single-factor tests on airflow distribution methods were conducted.The results showed that the coefficient of variation of the airflow speed for the centralized airflow distribution method was 1.67%,which was the least among the coefficients of the three distribution methods.In the bench tests,the rotational speeds of the fertilizer shaft were set at 10 r/min,20 r/min,30 r/min,and 40 r/min.The maximum coefficient of variation of the fertilization consistency in different rows was 1.49%at the rotational speed of 20 r/min.The maximum coefficient of variation of the fertilization stability was 2.86%at the rotational speed of 40 r/min,while the average fertilizer amount per lap for each distributor was 26.25 g/r.The results of the dynamic fertilization tests showed that the maximum relative error of the fertilizer distribution amount was 2.00%when the target fertilizer rates were 20,30,and 40 kg/667 m2.The results of the field tests showed that the average relative error of the fertilization amount was 3.53%,which satisfies the design standard.This research provides a reference for optimizing pneumatic fertilizer delivery systems and improving fertilization control systems and other pneumatic precision fertilizer application devices. | Xiantao Zha Guozhong Zhang Shijie Zhang Qunxi Hou Yang Wang Yong Zhou | 2020 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,6: | 3 |
| 14 | Method of coupling 1-D unsaturated flow with 3-D saturated flow on large scale显示文摘A coupled unsaturated-saturated water flow numerical model was developed. The water flow in the unsaturated zone is considered the one-dimensional vertical flow, which changes in the horizontal direction according to the groundwater table and the atmospheric boundary conditions. The groundwater flow is treated as the three-dimensional water flow. The recharge flux to groundwater from soil water is considered the bottom flux for the numerical simulation in the unsaturated zone, and the upper flux for the groundwater simulation. It connects and unites the two separated water flow systems. The soil water equation is solved based on the assumed groundwater table and the subsequent predicted recharge flux. Then, the groundwater equation is solved with the predicted recharge flux as the upper boundary condition. Iteration continues until the discrepancy between the assumed and calculated groundwater nodal heads have a certain accuracy. Illustrative examples with different water flow scenarios regarding the Dirichlet boundary condition, the Neumann boundary condition, the atmospheric boundary condition, and the source or sink term were calculated by the coupled model. | 15 | Two-dimensional multimetallic sulfide nanosheets with multi-active sites to enhance polysulfide redox reactions in liquid Li2S6-based lithium-polysulfide batteries显示文摘The lithium-sulfur battery has attracted enormous attention as being one of the most significant energy storage technologies due to its high energy density and cost-effectiveness.However,the 'shuttle effect' of polysulfide intermediates represents a formidable challenge towards its wide applications.Herein,we have designed and synthesized two-dimensional Cu,Zn and Sn-based multimetallic sulfide nanosheets to construct multi-active sites for the immobilization and entrapment of polysulfides with offering better performance in liquid Li2S6-based lithium-polysulfide batteries.Both experimental measurements and theoretical computations demonstrate that the interfacial multi-active sites of multimetallic sulfides not only accelerate the multi-chained redox reactions of highly diffusible polysulfides,but also strengthen affinities toward polysulfides.By adopting multimetallic sulfide nanosheets as the sulfur host,the liquid Li2 S6-based cell exhibits an impressive rate capability with 1200 mAh/g and retains 580 mAh/g at 0.5 mA/cm^(2) after 1000 cycles.With high sulfur mass loading conditions,the cell with 2.0 mg/cm^(2) sulfur loading delivers a cell capacity of 1068 mAh/g and maintains 480 mAh/g with 0.8 mA/cm^(2) and 500 cycles.This study provides new insights into the multifunctional material design with multi-active sites for elevated lithium-polysulfide batteries. | Chenyang Zha Donghai Wu Yuwei Zhao Jun Deng Jinghua Wu Rong Wu Meng Yang Lin Wang Houyang Chen | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1: | 3 |
| 16 | EFFECTS OF POLYTROPIC EXPONENT ON DATA PROCESSING METHODS USED IN CONSTANT VOLUME DISCHARGE显示文摘In order to obtain the accurate sonic conductance of solenoid valves,the polytropic exponent is used in the data processing of the discharge method for measuring the flow rate characteristics of pneumatic components. Three data processing principles are first introduced,and then the discharge pressure data obtained from the measured solenoid valve are processed to obtain the sonic conductance with three methods: the partial polytropic exponent method,the complete polytropic exponent method and the adiabatic method. By comparison of the obtained results it indicates that the complete polytropic exponent method is the most accurate. | 17 | Evaluation of Forest Damaged Area and Severity Caused by Ice-snow Frozen Disasters over Southern China with Remote Sensing显示文摘The accurate assessment of forest damage is important basis for the forest post-disaster recovery process and ecosystem management. This study evaluates the spatial distribution of damaged forest and its damaged severity caused by ice-snow disaster that occurred in southern China during January 10 to February 2 in 2008. The moderate-resolution imaging spectroradiometer(MODIS)13 Q1 products are used, which include two vegetation indices data of NDVI(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) and EVI(Enhanced Vegetation Index). Furtherly, after Quality Screening(QS) and Savizky-Golay(S-G) filtering of MODIS 13 Q1 data, four evaluation indices are obtained, which are NDVI with QS(QSNDVI), EVI with QS(QSEVI), NDVI with S-G filtering(SGNDVI) and EVI with S-G filtering(SGEVI). The study provides a new way of firstly determining the threshold for each image pixel for damaged forest evaluation, by computing the pre-disaster reference value and change threshold with vegetation index from remote sensing data. Results show obvious improvement with the new way for forest damage evaluation, evaluation result of forest damage is much close to the field survey data with standard error of only 0.95 and 1/3 less than the result that evaluated from other threshold method. Comparatively, the QSNDVI shows better performance than other three indices on evaluating forest damages. The evaluated result with QSNDVI shows that the severe, moderate, mild damaged rates of Southern China forests are 47.33%, 34.15%, 18.52%, respectively. By analyzing the influence of topographic and meteorological factors on forest-vegetation damage, we found that the precipitation on freezing days has greater impact on forest-vegetation damage, which is regarded as the most important factor. | 18 | Galactosylated chitosan/5-fluorouracil nanoparticles inhibit mouse hepatic cancer growth and its side effects显示文摘AIM:To observe the curative effect of galactosylated chitosan(GC)/5-fluorouracil(5-FU) nanoparticles in liver caner mice and its side effects.METHODS:The GC/5-FU nanoparticle is a nanomaterial made by coupling GC and 5-FU.The release experiment was performed in vitro.The orthotropic liver cancer mouse models were established and divided into control,GC,5-FU and GC/5-FU groups.Mice in the control and GC group received an intravenous injection of 200 L saline and GC,respectively.Mice in the 5-FU and GC/5-FU groups received 200 L(containing 0.371 mg 5-FU) 5-FU and GC/5-FU,respectively.The tumor weight and survival time were observed.The cell cycle and apoptosis in tumor tissues were monitored by flow cytometry.The expression of p53,Bax,Bcl-2,caspase-3 and poly adenosine 50-diphosphate-ribose polymerase 1(PARP-1) was detected by immunohistochemistry,reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and Western blot.The serum blood biochemical parameters and cytotoxic activity of natural killer(NK) cell and cytotoxicity T lymphocyte(CTL) were measured.RESULTS:The GC/5-FU nanoparticle is a sustained release system.The drug loading was 6.12% ± 1.36%,the encapsulation efficiency was 81.82% ± 5.32%,and the Zeta potential was 10.34 ± 1.43 mV.The tumor weight in the GC/5-FU group(0.4361 ± 0.1153 g vs 1.5801 ± 0.2821 g,P < 0.001) and the 5-FU(0.7932 ± 0.1283 g vs 1.5801 ± 0.2821 g,P < 0.001) was significantly lower than that in the control group;GC/5FU treatment can significantly lower the tumor weight(0.4361 ± 0.1153 g vs 0.7932 ± 0.1283 g,P < 0.001),and the longest median survival time was seen in the GC/5-FU group,compared with the control(12 d vs 30 d,P < 0.001),GC(13 d vs 30 d,P < 0.001) and 5-FU groups(17 d vs 30 d,P < 0.001).Flow cytometry revealed that compared with the control,GC/5FU caused a higher rate of G0-G1 arrest(52.79% ± 13.42% vs 23.92% ± 9.09%,P = 0.014) and apoptosis(2.55% ± 1.10% vs 11.13% ± 11.73%,P < 0.001) in hepatic cancer cells.Analysis of the apoptosis pathways showed that GC/5-FU upregulated the expression of p53 at both the protein and the mRNA levels,which in turn lowered the ratio of Bcl-2/Bax expression;this led to the release of cytochrome C into the cytosol from the mitochondria and the subsequent activation of caspase-3.Upregulation of caspase-3 expression decreased the PARP-1 at both the mRNA and the protein levels,which contributed to apoptosis.5-FU increased the levels of aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase,and decreased the numbers of platelet,white blood cell and lymphocyte and cytotoxic activities of CTL and NK cells,however,there were no such side effects in the GC/5-FU group.CONCLUSION:GC/5-FU nanoparticles can significantly inhibit the growth of liver cancer in mice via the p53 apoptosis pathway,and relieve the side effects and immunosuppression of 5-FU. | Ming-Rong Cheng Qing Li Tao Wan Bing He Jiang Han Hou-Xiang Chen Feng-Xiao Yang Wei Wang Hong-Zhi Xu Tao Ye Bing-Bing Zha | 2012 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,42: | 2 |

Bge.var.mongholicus(Bge.)
