1Longitudinal study of a community hospital integrated model for diabetes management in the Beijing Jingsong community显示文摘Objective:To determine the effects of a community hospital integrated model on the longitu-dinal management of diabetic patients.Methods:Four hundred forty-one patients with type 2 diabetes residing in Jingsong Commu-nity were randomly assigned to intensive and standard groups.Metabolic parameters were meas-ured in the two groups at baseline and after 36 months of management to compare the rate of goal achievement.Results:After comprehensive management,the overall control rate in the intensive group was increased from 2.7%to 9.6%compared with 2.3%-4.5%in the standard group.Specifically,the control rates for fasting plasma glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,and blood pressure in the intensive group were significantly increased from 54.1%,40.0%,and 68.2%to 85.5%,74.6%,and 89.1%,respectively.The control rate for glycosylated hemoglobin in the intensive group was significantly higher than the standard group after 36 months of treatment.Conclusion:The community hospital integrated model for longitudinal management effec-tively improved the control rate of glycosylated hemoglobin and the overall control rate in patients with type 2 diabetes.Jiandong Zhang Ning Zhuang Mingxia Yuan Lijuan Gao Chuan Bian Huaining Chen Qing Chi Suqing Hui Guiying Li Yanli Su Hongsong Bao Gang Wan Guangran Yang Shenyuan Yuan 2014Family Medicine and Community Health2014,2,1:7
2Interval mapping for red/green skin color in Asian pears using a modified QTL-seq method显示文摘Pears with red skin are attractive to consumers and provide additional health benefits.Identification of the gene(s)responsible for skin coloration can benefit cultivar selection and breeding.The use of QTL-seq,a bulked segregant analysis method,can be problematic when heterozygous parents are involved.The present study modified the QTL-seq method by introducing a|Δ(SNP-index)|parameter to improve the accuracy of mapping the red skin trait in a group of highly heterozygous Asian pears.The analyses were based on mixed DNA pools composed of 28 red-skinned and 27 green-skinned pear lines derived from a cross between the‘Mantianhong’and‘Hongxiangsu’red-skinned cultivars.The‘Dangshansuli’cultivar genome was used as reference for sequence alignment.An average single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)index was calculated using a sliding window approach(200-kb windows,20-kb increments).Nine scaffolds within the candidate QTL interval were in the fifth linkage group from 111.9 to 177.1 cM.There was a significant linkage between the insertions/deletions and simple sequence repeat markers designed from the candidate intervals and the red/green skin(R/G)locus,which was in a 582.5-kb candidate interval that contained 81 predicted protein-coding gene models and was composed of two subintervals at the bottom of the fifth chromosome.The ZFRI 130-16,In2130-12 and In2130-16 markers located near the R/G locus could potentially be used to identify the red skin trait in Asian pear populations.This study provides new insights into the genetics controlling the red skin phenotype in this fruit.Huabai Xue Ting Shi Fangfang Wang Huangkai Zhou Jian Yang Long Wang Suke Wang Yanli Su Zhen Zhang Yushan Qiao Xiugen Li 2017Horticulture Research2017,4,1:5

7Simple Vanilla Derivatives for Long-Lived Room-Temperature Polymer Phosphorescence as Invisible Security Inks显示文摘Developing novel long-lived room-temperature polymer phosphorescence(RTPP)materials could significantly expand their application scope.Herein,a series of RTPP materials based on eight simple vanilla derivatives for security ink application are reported.Attributed to strong mutual hydrogen bonding with polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)matrix,vanilla-doped PVA films exhibit ultralong phosphorescence emission under ambient conditions observed by naked eyes,where methyl vanillate shows the longest emission time up to 7 s.Impressively,when vanilla-doped PVA materials are utilized as invisible security inks,and the inks not only present excellent luminescent emission stability under ambient conditions but also maintain perfect reversibility between room temperature and 65℃ for multiple cycles.Owing to the unique RTPP performance,an advanced anticounterfeiting data encoding/reading strategy based on handwriting technology and complex pattern steganography is developed.Yongfeng Zhang Zhonghao Wang Yan Su Yan Zheng Wenji Tang Chaolong Yang Hailong Tang Lunjun Qu Youbing Li Yanli Zhao 2021Research2021,,1:1

17Temporal and spatial stability of the EM/PM molecular subtypes in adult diffuse glioma显示文摘Detailed characterizations of genomic alterations have not identified subtype-specific vulnerabilities in adult gliomas. Mapping gliomas into developmental programs may uncover new vulnerabilities that are not strictly related to genomic alterations. After identifying conserved gene modules co-expressed with EGFR or PDGFRA (EM or PM), we recently proposed an EM/PM classification scheme for adult gliomas in a histological subtype- and grade-independent manner. By using cohorts of bulk samples, paired primary and recurrent samples, multi-region samples from the same glioma, single-cell RNA-seq samples, and clinical samples, we here demonstrate the temporal and spatial stability of the EM and PM subtypes. The EM and PM subtypes, which progress in a subtype-specific mode, are robustly maintained in paired longitudinal samples. Elevated activities of cell proliferation, genomic instability and microenvironment, rather than subtype switching, mark recurrent gliomas. Within individual gliomas, the EM/PM subtype was preserved across regions and single cells. Malignant cells in the EM and PM gliomas were correlated to neural stem cell and oligodendrocyte progenitor cell compartment, respectively. Thus, while genetic makeup may change during progression and/or within different tumor areas, adult gliomas evolve within a neurodevelopmental framework of the EM and PM molecular subtypes.
