| 4 | Effect of nitrogen fertilizer on distribution of starch granules in different regions of wheat endosperm显示文摘This study provided visual evidence of a nitrogen effect on starch granules(SGs) in wheat endosperm. Winter wheat(Titicum aestivum L.) cultivar Xumai 30 was cultured under no nitrogen(control) and 240 kg ha-1of nitrogen applied at the booting stage. The number, morphology, and size of Aand B-type SGs in subaleurone of dorsal endosperm(SDE), center of dorsal endosperm(CDE), modified aleurone(MA), subaleurone of ventral endosperm(SVE), and center of ventral endosperm(CVE) were observed under light and electron microscopes.(1) The distribution of SGs in SDE was similar to that in SVE, the distributions of SGs in CDE and CVE were similar, but the distribution of SGs in MA was different from those in the other four endosperm regions. The number of SGs in the five endosperm regions was in the order SDE > CDE > SVE > CVE > MA.(2) Nitrogen increased the number of Aand B-type SGs in SDE and SVE. Nitrogen also increased the number of B-type SGs but decreased the number of A-type SGs in CDE and CVE. Nitrogen decreased the numbers of A-type and B-type SGs in MA. | 7 | High spatial and temporal resolution synthetic aperture phase microscopy显示文摘A new optical microscopy technique,termed high spatial and temporal resolution synthetic aperture phase microscopy(HISTR-SAPM),is proposed to improve the lateral resolution of wide-field coherent imaging.Under plane wave illumination,the resolution is increased by twofold to around 260 nm,while achieving millisecond-level temporal resolution.In HISTR-SAPM,digital micromirror devices are used to actively change the sample illumination beam angle at high speed with high stability.An off-axis interferometer is used to measure the sample scattered complex fields,which are then processed to reconstruct high-resolution phase images.Using HISTR-SAPM,we are able to map the height profiles of subwavelength photonic structures and resolve the period structures that have 198 nm linewidth and 132 nm gap(i.e.,a full pitch of 330 nm).As the reconstruction averages out laser speckle noise while maintaining high temporal resolution,HISTR-SAPM further enables imaging and quantification of nanoscale dynamics of live cells,such as red blood cell membrane fluctuations and subcellular structure dynamics within nucleated cells.We envision that HISTR-SAPM will broadly benefit research in material science and biology. | Cheng Zheng Di Jin Yanping He Hongtao Lin Juejun Hu Zahid Yaqoo Peter T.C.So Renjie Zhou | 2020 | Advanced Photonics2020,2,6: | 5 |
| 8 | Effects of rotor structure on performance of small size axial flow fans显示文摘Small size axial flow fans are used as a cooling component for computers,electronic equipment and other electronic components.With the increasing power of electrical equipment,the demand for lower noise and higher ventilation of cooling fan is also increasing.Traditional methods of improving ventilation by raising the fan's rotation speed causes a decrease in efficiency and an increase in noise.In this paper,different structures of fans were simulated,and as a result,the counter-rotating fan can achieve higher pressure,efficiency and facilitate ventilation in a smaller space.Furthermore,some other conclusions are as follows:(1) Higher pressure rise can be obtained by a counter-rotating fan than by the two-stage rotor fan in the same axial length.Meanwhile,the counter-rotating fan has a broader work scope.(2) The main noise type of the counter-rotating fan is rotating noise;the small peak pulse caused by vortex noise mainly due to the eddy current produced by small eddies.(3) When the distance of counter-rotating fans is smaller than 2 times the chord,the greater distance the greater total pressure of the circum-averages and along the axial direction,the total pressure begin to decline until the distance is three times the chord,so there is an optimal distance between rotors.The simulation results are of important significance to the quantitative analysis and optimization design of the counter-rotating fan. | Pin Liu Yingzi Jin Yanping Wang | 2011 | Journal of Thermal Science2011,20,3: | 5 |
| 9 | Numerical and Experimental Study on Aerodynamic Performance of Small Axial Flow Fan with Splitter Blades显示文摘To improve the aerodynamic performance of small axial flow fan, in this paper the design of a small axial flow fan with splitter blades is studied. The RNG k-ε turbulence model and SIMPLE algorithm were applied to the steady simulation calculation of the flow field, and its result was used as the initial field of the large eddy simulation to calculate the unsteady pressure field. The FW-H noise model was adopted to predict aerodynamic noise in the six monitoring points. Fast Fourier transform algorithm was applied to process the pressure signal. Experiment of noise testing was done to further investigate the aerodynamic noise of fans. And then the results obtained from the numerical simulation and experiment were described and analyzed. The results show that the static characteristics of small axial fan with splitter blades are similar with the prototype fan, and the static characteristics are improved within a certain range of flux. The power spectral density at the six monitoring points of small axial flow fan with splitter blades have decreased to some extent. The experimental results show sound pressure level of new fan has reduced in most frequency bands by comparing with prototype fan. | 10 | Influence of Tip End-plate on Noise of Small Axial Fan显示文摘In this work, tip end-plate is used to improve the noise performance of small axial fans. Both numerical simulations and experimental methods were adopted to study the fluid flow and noise level of axial fans. Four modified models and the prototype are simulated. Influences of tip end-plate on static characteristics, internal flow field and noise of small axial fans are analyzed. The results show that on basis of the prototype, the model with the tip end-plate of 2 mm width and changed length achieved best noise performance. The overall sound pressure level of the model with the tip end-plate of 2 mm width and changed length is 2.4 dB less than that of the prototype at the monitoring point in specified far field. It is found that the mechanism of noise reduction is due to the decrease of vorticity variation on the surface of blades caused by the tip end-plate. Compared with the prototype, the static pressure of the model with the tip end-plate of 2 mm width and changed length at design flow rate decreases by 2 Pa and the efficiency decreases by 0.8%. Compounds 1-3 are isomorphous, and compound 1 is crystallized in the monoclinic system with the P2_1/c space group. Compounds 4 and 5 are isomorphous, and compound 4 is crystallized in the triclinic system with the P-1 space group. Compound 6 is crystallized in the triclinic system with the P-1 space group. The compounds were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) and IR spectroscopy. The fluorescence spectrum in the visible area shows characteristic peaks of Eu, Tb, and Dy compounds. The efficiency of Eu compound on the viability of PC3 cells was assessed using CCK8 assays. From the CCK8 results, ionic concentration may have a great effect on PC3 cells' proliferation. Eu compound shows red fluorescence in the cytoplasm of PC3 cell. | 18 | A durable 4-1BB-based CD19 CAR-T cell for treatment of relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma显示文摘Objective:Previous studies reported that 4-1BB-based CD19 chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)-T cells were more beneficial for the clinical outcomes than CD28-based CAR-T cells,especially the lower incidence rate of severe adverse events.However,the median progression-free survival(mPFS)of 4-1BB-based product Kymriah was shorter than that of CD28-based Yescarta(2.9 months vs.5.9 months),suggesting that Kymriah was limited in the long-term efficacy.Thus,a safe and durable 4-1BB-based CD19 CAR-T needs to be developed.Methods:We designed a CD19-targeted CAR-T(named as IM19)which consisted of an FMC63 scFv,4-1BB and CD3ζintracellular domain and was manufactured into a memory T-enriched formulation.A phase I/II clinical trial was launched to evaluate the clinical outcomes of IM19 in relapsed or refractory(r/r)B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma(B-NHL).Dose-escalation investigation(at a dose of 5×10^(5)/kg,1×10^(6)/kg and 3×106/kg)was performed in 22 r/r B-NHL patients.All patients received a single infusion of IM19 after 3-day conditional regimen.Results:At month 3,the overall response rate(ORR)was 59.1%,the complete response rate(CRR)was 50.0%.The mPFS was 6 months and the 1-year overall survival rate was 77.8%.Cytokine release syndrome(CRS)occurred in 13 patients(59.1%),with 54.5%of grade 1−2 CRS.Only one patient(4.5%)experienced grade 3 CRS and grade 3 neurotoxicity.Conclusions:These results demonstrated the safety and durable efficacy of a 4-1BB-based CD19 CAR-T,IM19,which is promising for further development and clinical investigation. | Zhitao Ying Ting He Shanzhao Jin Xiaopei Wang Wen Zheng Ningjing Lin Meifeng Tu Yan Xie Lingyan Ping Weiping Liu Lijuan Deng Yanping Ding Xuelian Hu Bing Bu Xin’an Lu Yuqin Song Jun Zhu | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,1: | 2 |
