A 3rd Order WENO GLM-MHD Scheme for Magnetic Reconnection显示文摘A new numerical scheme of 3rd order Weighted Essentially Non-Oscillatory (WENO) type for 2.5D mixed GLM-MHD in Cartesian coordinates is proposed. The MHD equations are modified by combining the arguments as by Dellar and Dedner et al to couple the divergence constraint with the evolution equations using a Generalized Lagrange Multiplier (GLM). Moreover, the magnetohydrodynamic part of the GLM-MHD system is still in conservation form. Meanwhile, this method is very easy to add to an existing code since the underlying MHD solver does not have to be modified. To show the validation and capacity of its application to MHD problem modelling, interaction between a magnetosonic shock and a denser cloud and magnetic reconnection problems are used to verify this new MHD code. The numerical tests for 2D Orszag and Tang's MHD vortex, interaction between a magnetosonic shock and a denser cloud and magnetic reconnection problems show that the third order WENO MHD solvers are robust and yield reliable results by the new mixed GLM or the mixed EGLM correction here even if it can not be shown that how the divergence errors are transported as well as damped as done for one dimensional ideal MHD by Dedner et al. | FENG Xueshang ZHOU Yufen HU Yanqi | 2006 | 空间科学学报2006,26,1: | 9
Sintilimab versus docetaxel as second-line treatment in advanced or metastatic squamous non-small-cell lung cancer:an open-label,randomized controlled phase 3 trial(ORIENT-3)显示文摘Background:Treatment options for Chinese patients with locally advanced or metastatic squamous-cell non-small-cell lung cancer(sqNSCLC)after failure of first-line chemotherapy are limited. This study(ORIENT-3)aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of sintilimab versus docetaxel as second-line treatment in patients with locally advanced or metastatic sqNSCLC.Methods:ORIENT-3 was an open-label,multicenter,randomized controlled phase 3 trial that recruited patients with stage IIIB/IIIC/IV sqNSCLC after failure with first-line platinum-based chemotherapy.Patients were randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive either 200 mg of sintilimab or 75 mg/m^(2) of docetaxel intravenously every 3 weeks, stratified by the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status. The primary endpoint was overall survival(OS)in the full analysis set(FAS).Secondary endpoints included progression-free survival(PFS),objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),duration of response(DoR)and safety. Results:Between August 25,2017,and November 7,2018,290 patients were randomized. For FAS,10 patients fromthe docetaxel armwere excluded.Themedian OS was 11.79(n=145;95%confidence interval[CI],10.28-15.57)months with sintilimab versus 8.25(n=135;95%CI,6.47-9.82)months with docetaxel(hazard ratio[HR]:0.74;95%CI,0.56-0.96;P=0.025).Sintilimab treatment significantly prolonged PFS(median 4.30 vs.2.79 months;HR:0.52;95%CI,0.39-0.68;P<0.001)and showed higher ORR(25.50%vs.2.20%,P<0.001)and DCR(65.50%vs.37.80%,P<0.001)than the docetaxel arm.The median DoRwas 12.45(95%CI,4.86-25.33)months in the sintilimab arm and 4.14(95%CI,1.41-7.23)months in the docetaxel arm(P=0.045).Treatment-related adverse events of grade≥3were reported in 26(18.1%)patients in the sintilimab arm and 47(36.2%)patients in the docetaxel arm.Exploratory biomarker analysis showed potential predictive values of expression levels of two transcription factors, including OVOL2(HR:0.35;P<0.001)and CTCF(HR:3.50;P<0.001),for sintilimab treatment. Conclusions:Compared with docetaxel, sintilimab significantly improved the OS,PFS,and ORR of Chinese patients with previously treated locally advanced or metastatic sqNSCLC. | Yuankai Shi Lin Wu Xinmin Yu Puyuan Xing Yan Wang Jianying Zhou Airong Wang Jianhua Shi Yi Hu Ziping Wang Guangyu An Yong Fang Sanyuan Sun Caicun Zhou Changli Wang Feng Ye Xingya Li Junye Wang Mengzhao Wang Yunpeng Liu Yanqiu Zhao Ying Yuan Jifeng Feng Zhendong Chen Jindong Shi Tao Sun Gang Wu Yongqian Shu Qisen Guo Yi Zhang Yong Song Shucai Zhang Yuan Chen Wei Li Hongrui Niu Wenwei Hu Lijun Wang Jianan Huang Yang Zhang Ying Cheng Zhengdong Wu Bo Peng Jiya Sun Christoph Mancao Yanqi Wang Luyao Sun | 2022 | Cancer Communications2022,42,12: | 8
Defective TiO_(2)-graphene heterostructures enabling in-situ electrocatalyst evolution for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries are considered as one of the promising next-generation energy storage systems because of their high energy density. While the low utilization of sulfur and sluggish reaction kinetics would lead to degradation of electrochemical performance and thus hinder the practical application of Li-S batteries. Herein, a double-shelled TiO_(2)-graphene heterostructure (H-TiO_(2)/rGO) with abundant oxygen vacancies (OVs) and highly exposed active plane as advanced host material in Li-S batteries is designed. This rational structure not only provides sufficient active sites and lower bandgap for lithium polysulfides (LiPSs), but also builds smooth adsorption-diffusion-conversion of LiPSs on catalyst, which greatly reduces interfacial energy barrier and promotes the utilization of sulfur through suppressing the devastating shuttling effect. Combining the synergetic merits of strong anchoring ability and catalyzing the of LiPSs, the electrode (S-TiO_(2)/rGO-1) exhibits superior rate performance and long lifespan (1000 cycles at 1C, 0.023% capacity loss per cycle) with high columbic efficiency. This work paves an alternative way to establish smooth adsorption-diffusion-conversion of polysulfides on catalyst in Li-S batteries and provides a new sight to understand catalyst design in energy storage devices. | Yanqi Feng Hui Liu Yi Liu Fuwei Zhao Junqi Li Xuanmeng He | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,11: | 1
Development of low-coherence high-power laser drivers for inertial confinement fusion显示文摘The use of low-coherence light is expected to be one of the effective ways to suppress or even eliminate the laser–plasma instabilities that arise in attempts to achieve inertial confinement fusion. In this paper,a review of low-coherence high-power laser drivers and related key techniques is first presented.Work at typical low-coherence laser facilities, including Gekko XII,PHEBUS,Pharos III,and Kanal-2 is described. The many key techniques that are used in the research and development of low-coherence laser drivers are described and analyzed, including low-coherence source generation, amplification, harmonic conversion, and beam smoothing of low-coherence light. Then, recent progress achieved by our group in research on a broadband low-coherence laser driver is presented.During the development of our low-coherence high-power laser facility,we have proposed and implemented many key techniques for working with low-coherence light, including source generation, efficient amplification and propagation, harmonic conversion, beam smoothing, and precise beam control.Based on a series of technological breakthroughs,a kilojoule low-coherence laser driver named Kunwu with a coherence time of only 300 fs has been built, and the first round of physical experiments has been completed. This high-power laser facility provides not only a demonstration and verification platform for key techniques and system integration of a low-coherence laser driver, but also a new type of experimental platform for research into, for example,high-energy-density physics and,in particular, laser–plasma interactions. | Yanqi Gao Yong Cui Lailin Ji Daxing Rao Xiaohui Zhao Fujian Li Dong Liu Wei Feng Lan Xia Jiani Liu Haitao Shi Pengyuan Du Jia Liu Xiaoli Li Tao Wang Tianxiong Zhang Chong Shan Yilin Hua Weixin Ma Xun Sun Xianfeng Chen Xiuguang Huang Jian Zhu Wenbing Pei Zhan Sui Sizu Fu | 2020 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2020,5,6: | 1

Management of pulmonary nodules in non-high-risk population:initial evidence from a real-world prospective cohort study in China显示文摘To the Editor:Lung cancer continues to be the most common cause of tumor-related death globally.Screening by low-dose computed tomography(CT)has been proven to greatly reduce the mortality of lung cancer patients.Although the recommended screened population varies among different guidelines, elderly smokers are always the most important subjects. However,a substantial group of lung cancer patients has been found to be young without tobacco consumptionJ11 Non-smoking lung cancer was even considered to be an independent disease and the seventh leading cause of cancer mortality. | Jing Ren Feng Chen Qing Liu Yongzhao Zhou Yue Cheng Panwen Tian Ye Wang Yalun Li Yanqi He Dan Liu Bojiang Chen Weimin Li | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,8: | 1
Enhancing the photoelectrochemical performance of p-silicon through TiO_(2)coating decorated with mesoporous MoS_(2)显示文摘MoS_(2)is a promising electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction and a good candidate for cocatalyst to enhance the photoelectrochemical(PEC)performance of Si-based photoelectrode in aqueous electrolytes. The main challenge lies in the optimization of the microstructure of MoS_(2),to improve its catalytic activity and to construct a mechanically and chemically stable cocatalyst/Si photocathode. In this paper,a highly-ordered mesoporous MoS_(2)was synthesized and decorated onto a TiO_(2)protected p-silicon substrate. An additional TiO_(2)necking was introduced to strengthen the bonding between the MoS_(2)particles and the TiO_(2)layer.This meso-MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/p-Si hybrid photocathode exhibited significantly enhanced PEC performance, where an onset potential of+0.06 V(versus RHE)and a current density of-1.8 mA/cm^(2)at 0 V(versus RHE)with a Faradaic efficiency close to 100%was achieved in 0.5 mol/L H_(2)SO_(4).Additionally,this meso-MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/p-Si photocathode showed an excellent PEC ability and durability in alkaline media. This paper provides a promising strategy to enhance and protect the photocathode through high-performance surface cocatalysts. | Hongmei WU Feng LI Yanqi YUAN Jing LIU Liping ZHAO Peng ZHANG Lian GAO | 2021 | Frontiers in Energy2021,15,3: | 0
Development and validation of a tumor microenvironment-related prognostic signature in lung adenocarcinoma and immune infiltration analysis显示文摘Objective Tumor-infiltrating immune cells and stromal cells in the tumor microenvironment(TME)significantly affect the prognosis of and immune response to lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD).In this study,we aimed to develop a novel TME-related prognostic model based on immune and stromal genes in LUAD.Methods LUAD data from the TCGA database were used as the training cohort, and three Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)datasets were used as the testing cohort. The Estimation of STromal and Immune cells in MAlignant Tumor tissues using Expression data algorithm was used to analyze the immune and stromal genes involved in the TME.Kaplan-Meier and Cox regression analyses were used to identify prognostic genes and construct a TME-related prognostic model.Gene set enrichment analysis and TIMER were used to analyze the immune features and signaling pathways of the model. Results A TME-related prognostic model based on six hub genes was generated that significantly stratified patients into the high-and low-risk groups in terms of overall survival. The model had strong predictive ability in both the training(TCGA)and testing(GEO)datasets and could serve as an independent prognostic factor for LUAD.Moreover, the low-risk group was characterized by greater immune cell infiltration and antitumor immune activity than the high-risk group.Importantly, the signature was closely associated with immune checkpoint molecules, which may serve as a predictor of patient response to immunotherapy. Finally, the hub genes BTK,CD28,INHA,PIK3CG,TLR4,and VEGFD were considered novel prognostic biomarkers for LUAD and were significantly correlated with immune cells. Conclusion The TME-related prognostic model could effectively predict the prognosis and reflect the TME status of LUAD.These six hub genes provided novel insights into the development of new therapeutic strategies. | Zhou Li Yanqi Feng Piao Li Shennan Wang Ruichao Li Shu Xia | 2021 | Oncology and Translational Medicine2021,7,6: | 0
From non-carbon host toward carbon-free lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries with advantages of high energy densities(2600 Wh·kg^(-1)/2800 Wh·L^(-1))and sulfur abundance are regarded as promising candidates for next-generation high-energy batteries. However, the conventional carbon host used in sulfur cathodes suffers from poor chemical adsorption towards Li-polysulfides(LPS)in liquid electrolyte and sluggish redox kinetics, leading to low capacity and rate capability.Besides, carbon host used in Li metal anode with the intrinsic property of poor lithiophilicity and high Li-nucleation barrier gives rise to uncontrollable dendrite growth and further battery failure.Therefore,non-carbon hosts with chemical adsorption toward LPS and catalytic activity for accelerating LPS redox conversion as well as lithiophilic property for guiding uniform Li deposition are proposed and demonstrated a high efficiency in both sulfur cathodes and Li metal anodes. In this review, the principle and challenges of Li-S batteries are first presented, then recent work using non-carbon hosts in Li-S batteries is summarized comprehensively, and the mechanism of non-carbon host in improving sulfur utilization and stabilizing Li metal anode is discussed in detail.Furthermore, remaining challenges and outlook on the implementation of non-carbon host for practical carbon-free Li-S batteries are also provided. | Yanqi Feng Hui Liu Qiongqiong Lu | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,3: | 0
Enlarged interlayer of separator coating enabling high-performance lithiumsulfur batteries显示文摘Lithiumsulfur batteries have been intensively studied due to their high theoretical energy density and abundant sulfur resources. However, their commercial application is hindered by the low redox kinetics and high sulfur losses. In principle, in the design of cathodes and separators, the adsorption toward lithium-polysulfides should be enhanced and the conversion of soluble high-order lithium-polysulfides should be catalyzed. Herein, a KV_(3)O_(8)·0.75H_(2)O separator is designed as an effective lithium-polysulfides mediator in lithiumsulfur batteries. The intercalated K+ would enlarge the interlayer spacing of vanadium oxides, preventing the collapse of the layer structure and improving the electrical/ion conductivity of the interface. Moreover, the KV_(3)O_(8)·0.75H_(2)O modified separator possess a prior adsorption and high redox kinetics toward lithium-polysulfides due to the enhanced diffusion kinetics, which guarantees the high-rate capability and efficient utilization of sulfur. As a result, lithiumsulfur batteries exhibit a high capacity of 1362 mAh·g^(-1) and a long lifespan with a low capacity loss of 0.073% per cycle. This work may provide an alternative way to establish a functional separator to balance the adsorption and conversion of polysulfides during the redox back and forth. | Yanqi Feng Hui Liu Xiaoting Liu Qiongqiong Lu | 2024 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2024,18,2: | 0
Backward scattering of laser plasma interactions from hundreds-of-joules broadband laser on thick target显示文摘The use of broadband laser technology is a novel approach for inhibiting processes related to laser plasma interactions(LPIs).In this study, several preliminary experiments into broadband-laser-driven LPIs are carried out using a newly established hundreds-of-joules broadband second-harmonic-generation laser facility.Through direct comparison with LPI results for a traditional narrowband laser, the actual LPI-suppression effect of the broadband laser is shown. The broadband laser had a clear suppressive effect on both back-stimulated Raman scattering and back-stimulated Brillouin scattering at laser intensities below 1×10^(15) W cm^(−2).An abnormal hot-electron phenomenon is also investigated, using targets of different thicknesses. | Peipei Wang Honghai An Zhiheng Fang Jun Xiong Zhiyong Xie Chen Wang Zhiyu He Guo Jia Ruirong Wang Shu Zheng Lan Xia Wei Feng Haitao Shi Wei Wang Jinren Sun Yanqi Gao Sizu Fu | 2024 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2024,9,1: | 0
Light-induced tumor theranostics based on chemical-exfoliated borophene显示文摘Among 2D materials(Xenes)which are at the forefront of research activities, borophene,is an exciting new entry due to its uniquely varied optical, electronic, and chemical properties in many polymorphic forms with widely varying band gaps including the lightest 2D metallic phase. In this paper,we used a simple selective chemical etching to prepare borophene with a strong near IR light-induced photothermal effect. The photothermal efficiency is similar to plasmonic Au nanoparticles, with the added benefit of borophene being degradable due to electron deficiency of boron. We introduce this selective chemical etching process to obtain ultrathin and large borophene nanosheets(thickness of ~4 nm and lateral size up to ~600 nm)from the precursor of AlB_(2).We also report first-time observation of a selective Acid etching behavior showing HCl etching of Al to form a residual B lattice, while HF selectively etches B to yield an Al lattice. We demonstrate that through surface modification with polydopamine(PDA),a biocompatible smart delivery nanoplatform of B@PDA can respond to a tumor environment, exhibiting an enhanced cellular uptake efficiency. We demonstrate that borophene can be more suitable for safe photothermal theranostic of thick tumor using deep penetrating near IR light compared to gold nanoparticles which are not degradable, thus posing longterm toxicity concerns. With about 40 kinds of borides,we hope that our work will open door to more discoveries of this top-down selective etching approach for generating borophene structures with rich unexplored thermal, electronic, and optical properties for many other technological applications. | Zhongjian Xie Yanhong Duo Taojian Fan Yao Zhu Shuai Feng Chuanbo Li Honglian Guo Yanqi Ge Shakeel Ahmed Weichun Huang Huiling Liu Ling Qi Rui Guo Defa Li Paras N.Prasad Han Zhang | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,12: | 0
