2The impact of climate change and human activities on streamflow and sediment load in the Pearl River basin显示文摘This paper uses monthly streamflow, suspended sediment concentration, and meteorological data to examine the impact of human activity and climate change on streamflow and sediment load in the Pearl River basin from the 1950s to the 2000s. The influences of climate change and human activities on hydrological processes were quantitatively evaluated using the Mann–Kendall abrupt change test and power rating curves. The results showed that:(1) abrupt changes and turning points in streamflow occurred in 1963, 1983, and 1991 which were found to be consistent with global ENSO events and volcanic eruptions. However, abrupt changes in sediment load showed significant spatial differences across the Pearl River basin. For the Xijiang River, an abrupt change in sediment load occurred in 2002, and after 2007 the change becomes significant at the 95% confidence level. At Beijiang and Dongjiang, abrupt changes in sediment load occurred in 1998 and 1988, respectively.(2) The time series of sediment load data was divided into four periods according to abrupt changes. The contribution of climate change and human activities is different in the different rivers. For the Xijiang River, compared with the first period, climate change and human activities contributed 83% and 17%, respectively, to the increasing sediment load during the second period. In the third period, the variation of sediment load followed a decreasing trend. The contribution from climate change and human activities also changed to t236% and -136%, respectively. In the fourth period, climate change and human activities contributed -32% and t132%, respectively. Meanwhile, For the Beijiang River, climate change and human activities contributed 90% and 10% in the second period, the contribution of climate change increased to t115% and human activities decreased to -15% in the third period. In the fourth period, the value for climate change decreased to t36% and human activities increased to t64%. For the Dongjiang River, the contribution of human activities was from 74.5% to 90%, and the values for climate change were from 11% to 25%. 4Review of Chinese atmospheric science research over the past 70 years: Synoptic meteorology显示文摘Synoptic meteorology is a branch of meteorology that uses synoptic weather observations and charts for the diagnosis,study,and forecasting of weather.Weather refers to the specific state of the atmosphere near the Earth’s surface during a short period of time.The spatial distribution of meteorological elements in the atmosphere can be represented by a variety of transient weather phenomena,which are caused by weather systems of different spatial and temporal scales.Weather is closely related to people’s life,and its development and evolution have always been the focus of atmospheric scientific research and operation.The development of synoptic meteorology is closely related to the development of observation systems,dynamical theories and numerical models.In China,observation networks have been built since the early 1950 s.Up to now,a comprehensive meteorological observation systembased on ground,air and space has been established.In particular,the development of a new generation of dense radar networks,the development of the Fengyun satellite series and the implementation of a series of large field experiments have brought our understanding of weather from large-scale environment to thermal dynamics,cloud microphysical structure and evolution characteristics of meso and micro-scale weather systems.The development of observation has also promoted the development of theory,numerical model and simulation.In the early days,China mainly used foreign numerical models.Lately,China has developed numerical model systems with independent intellectual property rights.Based on the results of high-resolution numerical simulations,in-depth understanding of the initiation and evolution mechanism and predictability of weather at different scales has been obtained.Synoptic meteorology has gradually changed from an initially independent development to a multidisciplinary approach,and the interaction between weather and the change of climate and environment has become a hot and frontier topic in atmospheric science.This paper reviews the important scientific and technological achievements made in China over the past 70 years in the fields of synoptic meteorology based on the literatures in China and abroad,from six aspects respectively including atmospheric dynamics,synoptic-scale weather,typhoon and tropical weather,severe convective weather,numerical weather prediction and data assimilation,weather and climate,atmospheric physics and atmospheric environment.Zhiyong MENG Fuqing ZHANG Dehai LUO Zhemin TAN Juan FANG Jianhua SUN Xueshun SHEN Yunji ZHANG Shuguang WANG Wei HAN Kun ZHAO Lei ZHU Yongyun HU Huiwen XUE Yaping MA Lijuan ZHANG Ji NIE Ruilin ZHOU Sa LI Hongjun LIU Yuning ZHU 2019Science China Earth Sciences2019,62,12:7
5The integration characteristics of the exogenous growth hormone gene in a transgenic common carp(Cyprinus carpio L.) with fast-growth performance显示文摘The genetic stability and expression efficiency of exogenous genes in transgenic animals are closely related to integration site and copy number. In our laboratory, by transgenic manipulation and subsequent test crosses, we established an ‘‘all-fish'' growth hormone(GH)transgenic common carp family that exhibits fast growth.In this present study, genome walking, real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction, and fluorescence in situ hybridization techniques were applied to identify the integration characteristics of the exogenous grass carp GH gene in the transgenic common carp. The exogenous GH genes, in the form of two complete and one incomplete tandem repeats, were found to have integrated into an ATrich region near the end of a chromosome pair. 7Photocatalytic degradating methyl orange in water phase by UV-irradiated CdS carried by carbon nanotubes显示文摘A new candidate for photocatalytic degradating organic dyes,CdS carried by car-bon nanotubes(CdS/CNTs) ,is reported. The degradation ratio curves of methyl orange in water phase show that the capability for degradating organic molecules of CdS/CNTs is obviously higher than that of separated CdS. The degradation ca-pability enhances as the increase of the amount of net CdS catalyst,the ratio of carbon nanotubes to CdS,and the area of the template,and is influenced by the pH value and the temperature of aqueous solution. 18Spectrum-shaped Si-perovskite hybrid photodetectors for hyperspectral bioimaging显示文摘Hyperspectral imaging(HSI)with rich spectral and spatial information holds potential for applications ranging from remote sensing to biomedicine.However,charge-coupled device(CCD)detectors used in conventional HSI systems suffer from inferior and unbalanced responsivity in the visible region,which is not a perfect choice for high-performance visible HSI.That is,conventional Si-based CCDs exhibit poor responsivity at short wavelengths(e.g.,400–600 nm)compared with that at longer wavelengths due to the nature of the indirect bandgap in silicon of around 1.1 e V.To solve this challenge,we introduce a Cs Pb Br_(3) perovskite layer to shape the spectrum of a Si/PEDOT:PSS heterojunction photodetector(PD),resulting in a fabricated Si-Cs Pb Br_(3) hybrid PD with enhanced responsivity at 400–600 nm.This results in an approximately flat spectral responsivity curve in the visible region(400–800 nm).Therefore,the stable Si-Cs Pb Br_(3) hybrid PD with a flat spectrum overcomes the shortcomings of traditional Si-based PDs and makes it more suitable for HSI.Further,we set up a first perovskite HSI system with high spectrum resolution and demonstrate potential applications for tumor detection and tissue identification.We believe that this perovskite optimization can be integrated into modern CCD,thus becoming a step in future CCD fabrication processes,which is a milestone for high-performance HSI systems.YUJIN LIU ZHONG JI YAPING LI HONG JIN FAN WENJIE MAI 2021Photonics Research2021,9,9:1
19Switchable half-metallicity in A-type antiferromagnetic NiI_(2)bilayer coupled with ferroelectric In_(2)Se_(3)显示文摘Electrically controlled half-metallicity in antiferromagnets is of great significance for both fundamental research and practical application.Here,by constructing van der Waals heterostructures composed of two-dimensional(2D)A-type antiferromagnetic NiI_(2)bilayer(bi-NiI_(2))and ferroelectric In_(2)Se_(3)with different thickness,we propose that the half-metallicity is realizable and switchable in the bi-NiI_(2)proximate to In_(2)Se_(3)bilayer(bi-In_(2)Se_(3)).The polarization flipping of the bi-In_(2)Se_(3)successfully drives transition between half-metal and semiconductor for the bi-NiI_(2).This intriguing phenomenon is attributed to the joint effect of polarization field-induced energy band shift and interfacial charge transfer.Besides,the easy magnetization axis of the bi-NiI_(2)is also dependent on the polarization direction of the bi-In_(2)Se_(3).The half-metallicity and magnetic anisotropy energy of the bi-NiI_(2)in heterostructure can be effectively manipulated by strain.These findings provide not only a feasible strategy to achieve and control half-metallicity in 2D antiferromagnets,but also a promising candidate to design advanced nanodevices.Yaping Wang Xinguang Xu Xian Zhao Weixiao Ji Qiang Cao Shengshi Li Yanlu Li 2022npj Computational Materials2022,,1:1
