| 1 | Late Quaternary ice-rafted detritus events in the Chukchi Basin, western Arctic Ocean显示文摘The late Quaternary ice rafted detritus (IRD) events in the Chukchi Basin, western Arctic Ocean are indications of the provenance of the coarser detritus and ice export events, and also document the evolutionary histories of Beaufort Gyre and the North American Ice Sheet (NAIS). The sediment of core M03 from the Chukchi Basin was selected to study the regional response to the ice export events and the NAIS variability. The stratigraphic framework of M03 was established by a combination of lithological features and downcore color change cycles, AMS14C dating with foraminifera abundance and IRD events. The core was also compared with the adjacent core NWR 5 from the Northwind Ridge area. The core extends back to Marine Isotope Stage (MIS) 7. A sedimentary hiatus of 10―20 ka might occur between 16 to 20 cm core depth. Seven IRD events are distinguished from the studied core and are presented during the early MIS 1, MIS 3, MIS 5 and late MIS 7. | 3 | Study of Longitudinal-Vertical Dynamics for In-Wheel Motor-Driven Electric Vehicles显示文摘The in-wheel motor(IWM)-driven electric vehicles(EVs)attract increasing attention due to their advantages in dimensions and controllability.The majority of the current studies on IWM are carried out with the assumption of an ideal actuator,in which the coupling effects between the non-ideal IWM and vehicle are ignored.This paper uses the braking process as an example to investigate the longitudinal-vertical dynamics of IWM-driven EVs while considering the mechanical-electrical coupling effect.First,a nonlinear switched reluctance motor model is developed,and the unbalanced electric magnetic force(UEMF)induced by static and dynamic mixed eccentricity is analyzed.Then,the UEMF is decomposed into longitudinal and vertical directions and included in the longitudinal-vertical vehicle dynamics.The coupling dynamics are demonstrated under different vehicle braking scenarios;numerical simulations are carried out for various road grades,road friction,and vehicle velocities.A novel dynamics vibration absorbing system is adopted to improve the vehicle dynamics.Finally,the simulation results show that vehicle vertical dynamic performance is enhanced. | Yechen Qin Ze Zhao Zhenfeng Wang Guofa Li | 2021 | Automotive Innovation2021,4,2: | 5 |

| 5 | Expression of Helicobacter pylori Hsp60 protein and its immunogenicity显示文摘AIM: To express Hsp60 protein of H pylori by a constructed vector and to evaluate its immunogenicity.METHODS: Hsp60 DNA was amplified by PCR and inserted into the prokaryotie expression vector pET-22b (+), which was transformed into BL21 (DE3) E. coli strain to express recombinant protein. Immunogenicity of expressed Hsp60 protein was evaluated with animal experiments.RESULTS: DNA sequence analysis showed Hsp60 DNA was the same as GenBank's research. | 7 | Deep Reinforcement Learning Enabled Decision-Making for Autonomous Driving at Intersections显示文摘Road intersection is one of the most complex and accident-prone traffic scenarios,so it’s challenging for autonomous vehicles(AVs)to make safe and efficient decisions at the intersections.Most of the related studies focus on the solution to a single scenario or only guarantee safety without considering driving efficiency.To address these problems,this study proposed a deep reinforcement learning enabled decision-making framework for AVs to drive through intersections automatically,safely and efficiently.The mapping relationship between traffic images and vehicle operations was obtained by an end-to-end decision-making framework established by convolutional neural networks.Traffic images collected at two timesteps were used to calculate the relative velocity between vehicles.Markov decision process was employed to model the interaction between AVs and other vehicles,and the deep Q-network algorithm was utilized to obtain the optimal driving policy regarding safety and efficiency.To verify the effectiveness of the proposed decision-making framework,the top three accident-prone crossing path crash scenarios at intersections were simulated,when different initial vehicle states were adopted for better generalization capability.The results showed that the developed method could make AVs drive safely and efficiently through intersections in all of the tested scenarios. | Guofa Li Shenglong Li Shen Li Yechen Qin Dongpu Cao Xingda Qu Bo Cheng | 2020 | Automotive Innovation2020,3,4: | 4 |
| 8 | Comprehensive Analysis and Optimization of Dynamic Vibration-Absorbing Structures for Electric Vehicles Driven by In-Wheel Motors显示文摘Distributed-drive electric vehicles(EVs)replace internal combustion engine with multiple motors,and the novel configura-tion results in new dynamic-related issues.This paper studies the coupling effects between the parameters and responses of dynamic vibration-absorbing structures(DVAS)for EVs driven by in-wheel motors(IWM).Firstly,a DVAS-based quarter suspension model is developed for distributed-drive EVs,from which nine parameters and five responses are selected for the coupling effect analysis.A two-stage global sensitivity analysis is then utilized to investigate the effect of each parameter on the responses.The control of the system is then converted into a multiobjective optimization problem with the defined system parameters being the optimization variables,and three dynamic limitations regarding both motor and suspension subsystems are taken as the constraints.A particle swarm optimization approach is then used to either improve ride comfort or mitigate IWM vibration,and two optimized parameter sets for these two objects are provided at last.Simulation results provide in-depth conclusions for the coupling effects between parameters and responses,as well as a guideline on how to design system parameters for contradictory objectives.It can be concluded that either passenger comfort or motor lifespan can be reduced up to 36%and 15%by properly changing the IWM suspension system parameters. | Yechen Qin Zhenfeng Wang Kang Yuan Yubiao Zhang | 2019 | Automotive Innovation2019,2,4: | 2 |
| 9 | Fabrication, adsorption and photocatalytic properties of ZnTi0.6Fe1.4O4/Carbon nanotubes composites显示文摘ZnTi_xFe_(2–x)O_4 and ZnTi_(0.6)Fe_(1.4)O_4/Carbon nanotubes(ZT_(0.6)F_(1.4)/CNTs) composites were prepared by chemical co-precipitation method. The composition, microstructure, magnetic property, adsorption and photocatalytic activity of the prepared samples were characterized by means of modern analytical techniques. The results indicated that ZT_(0.6)F_(1.4)/CNTs composites not only held the original special structure and excellent adsorption properties of CNTs, but also had suitable magnetic property and excellent photocatalytic activity. The removal rate of the samples on Rhodamine B(RhB) depended on the adsorption of CNTs and the photocatalytic degradation of ZT_(0.6)F_(1.4) in the composites. The maximum adsorption amount(q_m) of ZT_(0.6)F_(1.4)/CNTs with the mass ratios of ZT_(0.6)F_(1.4) to CNTs(mZ/C)=1 was up to 17.153 mg g^(–1) for RhB, its adsorption behavior was in accord with Langmuir model, and its photocatalytic degradation activity on RhB had a positive correlation with the content of ZT_(0.6)F_(1.4) in the sample. The experimental results indicate that the total removal rate of composite with mZ/C=1 on RhB was more than 95% and the composite had good decontamination capability on industrial dye wastewater. | 11 | Late Quaternary terrigenous sedimentation in the Western Arctic Ocean as exemplified by a sedimentary record from the Alpha Ridge显示文摘Terrigenous components in sediment core B84A from the Alpha Ridge,Western Arctic Ocean,have been investigated to reconstruct Mid to Late Quaternary variations in sedimentation,provenance,and related climate changes. The core stratigraphy,evaluated by a combination of variations in Mn content,color cycles,foraminiferal abundance,and lithological correlation,extends back to estimated Marine Isotope Stage 12. Twelve Ice Rafted Detritus(IRD,>250 μm) events were identified and interpreted to mostly occur during deglaciation.The Canadian Arctic,which was covered by ice sheets during glacial periods,is suggested to be the major source region. The IRD events likely indicate the collapses of ice sheets,possibly in response to abrupt climate changes.Grain size analysis of B84A indicates sedimentologically sensitive components in core B84A in the 4-9 μm and 19-53 μm silt subfractions,which are inferred to be mainly transported by currents and sea ice,respectively. Down core variability of these two fractions may indicate changes in ice drift and current strength. | 16 | Ice rafting history and paleoceanographic reconstructions of Core 08P23 from southern Chukchi Plateau, western Arctic Ocean since Marine Isotope Stage 3显示文摘Multiproxy investigations have been performed on Core 08P23 collected from the Chukchi Plateau, the western Arctic Ocean, during the Third Chinese National Arctic Expedition. The core was dated back to Marine Isotope Stage(MIS) 3 by a combination of Accelerator Mass Spectrometric(AMS) carbon-14 dating and regional core correlation. A total of five prominent ice-rafted detritus(IRD) events were recognized in MIS 2 and MIS 3. The IRD sources in MIS 3 are originated from vast carbonate rock outcrops of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago and clastic quartz in MIS 2 may have a Eurasian origin. Most δ18O and δ13C values of Neogloboquadrina pachyderma(sinistral)(Nps) in Core 08P23 are lighter than the average values of surface sediments. The lighter δ18O and δ13C values of Nps in the two brown layers in MIS 1 and MIS 3 were resulted from meltwater events; and those in the gray layers in MIS 3 were caused by the enhanced sea ice formation. The δ18O values varied inversely with δ13C in MIS 2 indicate that the study area was covered by thick sea ice or ice sheet with low temperature and little meltwater, which prevented the biological productivity and sea-atmosphere exchange, as well as water mass ventilation.
