| 1 | Effect of intravenous transplantation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells on neurotransmitters and synapsins in rats with spinal cord injury显示文摘Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were isolated, purified and cultured in vitro by Percoll density gradient centrifugation combined with the cell adherence method. Passages 3-5 bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were transplanted into rats with traumatic spinal cord injury via the caudal vein. Basso-Beattie-Bresnahan scores indicate that neurological function of experimental rats was significantly improved over transplantation time (1-5 weeks). Expressions of choline acetyltransferase, glutamic acid decarboxylase and synapsins in the damaged spinal cord of rats was significantly increased after transplantation, determined by immunofluorescence staining and laser confocal scanning microscopy. Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells that had migrated into the damaged area of rats in the experimental group began to express choline acetyltransferase, glutamic acid decarboxylase and synapsins, 3 weeks after transplantation. The Basso-Beattie- Bresnahan scores positively correlated with expression of choline acetyltransferase and synapsins. Experimental findings indicate that intravenously transplanted bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells traverse into the damaged spinal cord of rats, promote expression of choline acetyltransferase, glutamic acid decarboxylase and synapsins, and improve nerve function in rats with spinal cord injury. | Shaoqiang Chen Bilian Wu Jianhua Lin | 2012 | Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,19: | 5 |
| 2 | Crashworthiness Design and Multi-Objective Optimization for Bio-Inspired Hierarchical Thin-Walled Structures显示文摘Thin-walled structures have been used in many fields due to their superior mechanical properties.In this paper,two types of hierarchical multi-cell tubes,inspired by the self-similarity of Pinus sylvestris,are proposed to enhance structural energy absorption performance.The finite element models of the hierarchical structures are established to validate the crashworthiness performance under axial dynamic load.The theoreticalmodel of themean crushing force is also derived based on the simplified super folded element theory.The finite element results demonstrate that the energy absorption characteristics and deformation mode of the bionic hierarchical thin-walled tubes are further improved with the increase of hierarchical sub-structures.It can be also obtained that the energy absorption performance of corner self-similar tubes is better than edge self-similar tubes.Furthermore,multiobjective optimization of the hierarchical tubes is constructed by employing the response surface method and genetic algorithm,and the corresponding Pareto front diagram is obtained.This research provides a new idea for the crashworthiness design of thin-walled structures. | Shaoqiang Xu Weiwei Li Lin Li Tao Li Chicheng Ma | 2022 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,5: | 1 |

| 4 | DeepBSA: A deep-learning algorithm improves bulked segregant analysis for dissecting complex traits显示文摘Bulked segregant analysis(BSA)is a rapid,cost-effective method for mapping mutations and quantitative trait loci(QTLs)in animals and plants based on high-throughput sequencing.However,the algorithms currently used for BSA have not been systematically evaluated and are complex and fallible to operate.We developed a BSA method driven by deep learning,DeepBSA,for QTL mapping and functional gene cloning.DeepBSA is compatible with a variable number of bulked pools and performed well with various simulated and real datasets in both animals and plants.DeepBSA outperformed all other algorithms when comparing absolute bias and signal-to-noise ratio.Moreover,we applied DeepBSA to an F2 segregating maize population of 7160 individuals and uncovered five candidate QTLs,including three well-known plant-height genes.Finally,we developed a user-friendly graphical user interface for DeepBSA,by integrating five widely used BSA algorithms and our two newly developed algorithms,that is easy to operate and can quickly map QTLs and functional genes.The DeepBSA software is freely available to noncommercial users at http://gffzzd7ca967c75304241hvuvbf00pc0n66fkk.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/tools.html and http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460asvuvbf00pc0n66fkk.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/lizhao007/DeepBSA. | Zhao Li Xiaoxuan Chen Shaoqiang Shi Hongwei Zhang Xi Wang Hong Chen Weifu Li Lin Li | 2022 | Molecular Plant2022,15,9: | 1 |

They could transmit a great variety of serious animal and human pathogens,which are great threats to the health of human beings and the safety of stockbreeding. Most of them are distributed in Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia,and they share similar morphologies. This study is to establish a method for identifying H. anatolicum,H. asiaticum and H. detritum with molecular markers and to revealing the phylogenetic relationship of these ticks. Ticks were collected from domestic animals in Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia autonomous regions and classified by morphological characters. 16 S rRNA and mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase subunit I gene( COI) of ticks were amplified by PCR and subsequently sequenced. Phylogenetic trees were constructed by MEGA 5. 0 and Mrbayes 3. 2. On the 16 S rRNA-based phylogenetic tree,H. anatolicum and H. aisaticum were clustered together with their respective classes. H. detritum was clustered with their respective class and the H. anatolicum,H. asiaticum formed distinct branches on the phylogenetic trees based on the COI. | 15 | Identification of tick-borne pathogens using metagenomic analyses in H.longicornis feeding on humans in downtown Beijing显示文摘On August 14th,2018,a Beijing resident living in Xicheng District found a female H.longicornis tick attached to the skin at the front of his upper shin.On examination,the patient was afebrile and appeared well.The species of the tick was identified through morphological characteristics and phylogenetic analysis based on cytochrome C oxidase subunit I.This H.longicornis tick was screened for tick-borne pathogens such as viruses,bacteria and parasites.RNA pathogens were screened by PCR and sequencing,while DNA pathogens were screened by metagenomic analyses.It was found that the tick was positive for the DNA sequences of zoonotic and animal pathogens such as A phagocytophilum,Ehrlichia minasensis and C.burnetii.Considering the good health condition of the patient,we hypothesized that the pathogens originated from the tick specimen itself rather than host blood meal.For the first time,our study reveals the possible risk of transmission of tick-borne pathogens to human beings through tick bit in downtown Beijing.Further research is needed to screen for tick-borne pathogens among unfed ticks collected from central Beijing. | Jizhou Lv Huiyu Wang Xueqing Han Lin Mei Xiangfen Yuan Yufang Kong Junhua Deng Zhen F.Fu Shaoqiang Wu Xiangmei Lin | 2021 | Animal Diseases2021,1,3: | 0 |
