| 1 | Droid Detector:Android Malware Characterization and Detection Using Deep Learning显示文摘Smartphones and mobile tablets are rapidly becoming indispensable in daily life. Android has been the most popular mobile operating system since 2012. However, owing to the open nature of Android, countless malwares are hidden in a large number of benign apps in Android markets that seriously threaten Android security. Deep learning is a new area of machine learning research that has gained increasing attention in artificial intelligence. In this study, we propose to associate the features from the static analysis with features from dynamic analysis of Android apps and characterize malware using deep learning techniques. We implement an online deep-learning-based Android malware detection engine(Droid Detector) that can automatically detect whether an app is a malware or not. With thousands of Android apps, we thoroughly test Droid Detector and perform an indepth analysis on the features that deep learning essentially exploits to characterize malware. The results show that deep learning is suitable for characterizing Android malware and especially effective with the availability of more training data. Droid Detector can achieve 96.76% detection accuracy, which outperforms traditional machine learning techniques. | 8 | Remediation of Cu and As contaminated water and soil utilizing biochar supported layered double hydroxide:Mechanisms and soil environment altering显示文摘Preparing materials for simultaneous remediation of anionic and cationic heavy metals contamination has always been the focus of research. Herein a biochar supported FeMnMg layered double hydroxide(LDH) composites(LB) for simultaneous remediation of copper and arsenic contamination in water and soil has been assembled by a facile co-precipitation approach. Both adsorption isotherm and kinetics studies of heavy metals removal by LB were applied to look into the adsorption performance of adsorbents in water. Moreover, the adsorption mechanisms of Cu and As by LB were investigated, showing that Cu in aqueous solution was removed by the isomorphic substitution, precipitation and electrostatic adsorption while As was removed by complexation. In addition, the availability of Cu and As in the soil incubation experiments was reduced by 35.54%–63.00% and 8.39%–29.04%, respectively by using LB. Meanwhile, the addition of LB increased the activities of urease and sucrase by 93.78%–374.35% and 84.35%–520.04%, respectively, of which 1% of the dosage was the best. A phenomenon was found that the richness and structure of microbial community became vigorous within 1% dosage of LB, which indirectly enhanced the passivation and stabilization of heavy metals. These results indicated that the soil environment was significantly improved by LB. | 9 | Corrosion and irradiation behavior of Fe-based amorphous coating in lead-bismuth eutectic liquids显示文摘Lead-bismuth eutectics (LBE) have considerable potential as a candidate material for accelerator-driven sub-critical systems(ADS).However,LBE corrosion and irradiation damage are two urgent challenges remaining to be solved for impellers of primary pumps.In this study,we have explored the possibility of using Fe-based amorphous coatings to overcome LBE corrosion and concurrently to sustain irradiation damage.Specifically,the Fe_(54)Cr_(18)Mo_(2)Zr_(8)B_(18)amorphous coating was prepared by high-velocity oxygen-fuel (HVOF) spraying on 316L steel and exposed to saturated oxygen static LBE for 500 h at 400℃.The coating with high thermal stability (T_(g)=615℃ and T_(x)=660℃) effectively prevented the substrate steel from being corroded by LBE owing to its unique long-range disordered atomic packing.The coating also exhibited strong irradiation resistance when being subjected to 45 dpa (displacement per atom) Au ion irradiation at room temperature,with no sign of crystallization even at the maximum implantation depth of 300 nm.Consequently,the hardness of the coatings before and after irradiation increased slightly.The current findings shed new insights into understanding corrosion mechanism and irradiation behavior of amorphous solids in LBE and expand the application range of amorphous materials. | LU ZhiChao PENG Xiang Yang TANG YuHai HAN ShuYin WU Yuan FU EnGang DING XiangBin HOU Shuo LU GuangYao CAO PeiPei ZHANG YiBo LIU XiongJun MA Dong WANG Hui JIANG SuiHe LU ZhaoPing | 2022 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,2: | 1 |
| 10 | Will Coal Price Fluctuations Affect Renewable Energy Substitution and Carbon Emission? | 11 | Separating the effects of two dimensions on ecosystem services:Environmental variables and net trade-offs显示文摘Spatial and temporal changes in ecosystem services(ESs)are driven by two types of factors:environmental factors and trade-offs/synergies between services.In the ecological conservation red line(ECRL)area,in which national ecological security and social sustainable development are guaranteed,it is particularly important to clarify the driving mechanism of ESs for the management of ecosystems.In this study,soil conservation,water yield,and carbon sequestration in Beijing’s ECRL area are quantified,and GeoDetector is used to identify the factors influencing the trade-offs/synergies between ESs.Moreover,partial correlation analysis is used to calculate the net trade-offs/synergies and compare them with the extent to which environmental variables contribute to ESs.The results are as follows:environmental variables and trade-offs/synergies have different effects on the changes in ESs,and their interactions can enhance the determinative power of the corresponding individual variable.The land use intensity is an extremely important factor affecting the trade-offs/synergies between the three services,indicating that rational land use planning in Beijing’s ECRL area is crucial for avoiding the negative impacts of trade-offs and enabling coordinated optimization of ESs.After the elimination of the cross-influence of environmental variables,the trade-offs/synergies change significantly,and the impact of environmental variables on ESs is compared with the net trade-offs/synergies.Environmental variables are the driving forces of the spatiotemporal changes in soil conservation.Precipitation and carbon sequestration have similar effects on water yield.Spatiotemporal changes in carbon sequestration are closely related to the other two services,with smaller influences from environmental variables. | ZUO Liyuan JIANG Yuan GAO Jiangbo DU Fujun ZHANG Yibo | 2023 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2023,33,4: | 0 |

| 18 | Polypropylene pyrolysis and steam reforming over Fe-based catalyst supported on activated carbon for the production of hydrogen-rich syngas显示文摘The purpose of this study is to explore a method for the high-yield production of hydrogen by pyrolysis and steam reforming of polymer plastics.The developed Fe-based catalyst supported on activated carbon was applied to reactions with polypropylene for hydrogen production.The effects of iron loading(%)in the catalyst,the total catalyst amount,and the water content in the reaction atmosphere on the performance of hydrogen and gas production were investigated.Under the optimal conditions,the hydrogen yield without water added reached 38.73 mmol/gPP,and this yield was significantly improved by adding water into the reaction atmosphere.By optimizing the amount of water added,the hydrogen yield reached 112.71 mmol/gPP.The surface morphology and structural components of the fresh and used catalysts were characterized,and the morphology and quantity of carbon deposition on the catalyst were analysed.The catalytic stability of the 15Fe/AC catalyst was determined by repeating the test 10 times under the optimal reaction conditions.As the reaction time increased,the selectivity of the catalyst for hydrogen decreased and that for hydrocarbons increased.Moreover,the experimental method used in this study had excellent hydrogen production capacity.Thus,this study provided a novel method for the high-efficiency production of hydrogen by pyrolysis and steam reforming of polymer plastics. | Shuxiao Wang Yibo Sun Rui Shan Jing Gu Taoli Huhe Xiang Ling Haoran Yuan Yong Chen | 2023 | Carbon Resources Conversion2023,6,3: | 0 |
| 19 | Altered gut microbiome in FUT2 loss-of-function mutants in support of personalized medicine for inflammatory bowel diseases显示文摘The FUT2 loss-of-function mutations are highly prevalent and are associated with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).To investigate the impact of FUT2 loss-of-function mutation on the gut microbiota in patients with IBD,81 endoscopically confirmed IBD patients were genotyped and divided into 3 groups:homozygous for functional FUT2 genes(SeSe),with one copy of non-functional FUT2 gene(Sese),or homozygous for non-functional FUT2 genes(sese).Escherichia,which attaches to fucosylated glycoconjugates,was the only abundant genus exhibiting decreased abundance in sese patients.Compared with SeSe or Sese patients,sese patients exhibited higher abundance in CD8+inducing Alistipe and Phascolarctobacterium and Th17 inducing Erysipelotrichaceae UCG-003.Counter-intuitively,butyrate-producing bacteria were more abundant in sese patients.Consistently,metabolomics analysis found higher levels of butyrate in sese patients.Our data support the hypothesis that FUT2 loss-of-function mutation participates in the IBD pathogenesis by decreasing binding sites for adherent bacteria and thus altering the gut microbiota.Decreased abundances of adherent bacteria may allow the overgrowth of bacteria that induce inflammatory T cells,leading to intestinal inflammation.As FUT2 loss-of-function mutations are highly prevalent,the identification of T cell inducing bacteria in sese patients could be valuable for the development of personalized microbial intervention for IBD. | Sijing Cheng Jun Hu Xianrui Wu Ji-An Pan Na Jiao Yichen Li Yibo Huang Xutao Lin Yifeng Zou Yuan Chen Lixin Zhu Min Zhi Ping Lan | 2021 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,9: | 0 |
