4Efficacy and safety evaluation of intravenous infusion of cervus and cucumis polypeptides for treatment of avascular necrosis of the femoral head: a randomized clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the efficacy and safety of intravenous cervus and cucumis polypeptides for treating avascular necrosis of the femoral head(ANFH) in regard to pain and hip function in a randomized clinical trial.METHODS: A total of 96 subjects with ANFH who were recruited at the Orthopaedic Hospital Affiliated with Hebei United University and Qian Hai Femoral Head Hospital of Beijing were assigned by lottery to an intervention group(n = 48) or a control group(n = 48). All subjects underwent physical therapy and rehabilitation exercises. In addition,subjects in the intervention group were given intravenous infusions of cervus and cucumis polypeptides. Visual analogue scale(VAS), Harris hip score,and radiography or magnetic resonance imaging were applied to assess all subjects at the beginning of treatment and 3, 6, and 9 months afterward. All the subjects were followed up for 2 years.RESULTS: At the beginning of treatment, there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of the general condition of patients or the VAS and Harris hip scores(all P > 0.05). At 3, 6, and 9 months after treatment,however, the VAS score decreased and the Harris hip score increased in all patients, with the improvement of intervention group significantly greater than that of the control group(P < 0.05).The total effectiveness rates for the intervention and control groups were 89.58% and 70.83%, respectively, with the difference being statistically significant(P < 0.05). 6Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell-loaded amniotic membrane for the repair of radial nerve injury显示文摘In this study,we loaded human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells onto human amniotic membrane with epithelial cells to prepare nerve conduits,i.e.,a relatively closed nerve regeneration chamber.After neurolysis,the injured radial nerve was enwrapped with the prepared nerve conduit,which was fixed to the epineurium by sutures,with the cell on the inner surface of the conduit.Simultaneously,a 1.0 mL aliquot of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell suspension was injected into the distal and proximal ends of the injured radial nerve with 1.0 cm intervals.A total of1.75×107cells were seeded on the amniotic membrane.In the control group,patients received only neurolysis.At 12 weeks after cell transplantation,more than 80%of patients exhibited obvious improvements in muscular strength,and touch and pain sensations.In contrast,these improvements were observed only in 55–65%of control patients.At 8 and 12 weeks,muscular electrophysiological function in the region dominated by the injured radial nerve was significantly better in the transplantation group than the control group.After cell transplantation,no immunological rejections were observed.These findings suggest that human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell-loaded amniotic membrane can be used for the repair of radial nerve injury.Zhi Li Hanjiao Qin Zishan Feng Wei Liu Ye Zhou Lifeng Yang Wei Zhao Youjun Li 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,36:13
7Aspirin alleviates endothelial gap junction dysfunction through inhibition of NLRP3inflammasome activation in LPS-induced vascular injury显示文摘The loss of endothelial connective integrity and endothelial barrier dysfunction can lead to increased vascular injury, which is related to the activation of endothelial inflammasomes. There are evidences that low concentrations of aspirin can effectively prevent cardiovascular diseases. We hypothesized that low-dose aspirin could ameliorate endothelial injury by inhibiting the activation of NLRP3 inflammasomes and ultimately prevent cardiovascular diseases. Microvascular endothelial cells were stimulated by lipopolysaccharide(2 μg/mL) and administrated by 0.1–2 mmol/L aspirin. The wild type mice were stimulated with LPS(100 μg/kg/day), and 1 h later treated with aspirin(12.5, 62.5, or125 mg/kg/day) and dexamethasone(0.0182 mg/kg/day) for 7 days. Plasma and heart were harvested for measurement of ELISA and immunofluorescence analyses. We found that aspirin could inhibit NLRP3 inflammasome formation and activation in vitro in dose-dependent manner and has correlation between the NLRP3 inflammasome and the ROS/TXNIP pathway. We also found that low-concentration aspirin could inhibit the formation and activation of NLRP3 inflammasome and restore the expression of theendothelial tight junction protein zonula occludens-1/2(ZO1/2). 8Transplantation of placenta-derived mesenchymal stem cell-induced neural stem cells to treat spinal cord injury显示文摘Because of their strong proliferative capacity and multi-potency, placenta-derived mesenchymal stem cells have gained interest as a cell source in the field of nerve damage repair. In the present study, human placenta-derived mesenchymal stem cells were induced to differentiate into neural stem cells, which were then transplanted into the spinal cord after local spinal cord injury in rats. The motor functional recovery and pathological changes in the injured spinal cord were observed for 3 successive weeks. The results showed that human placenta-derived mesenchymal stem cells can differentiate into neuron-like cells and that induced neural stem cells contribute to the restoration of injured spinal cord without causing transplant rejection. Thus, these cells promote the recovery of motor and sensory functions in a rat model of spinal cord injury. 9Early Permian Tarim Large Igneous Province in northwest China显示文摘Tarim Large Igneous Province(TLIP)is the second Late Paleozoic LIPs in China after the recognition of Emeishan LIP,and is a hot research topic in geosciences.On the basis of the analysis of research history about TLIP,this paper summarizes the research result during last twenty years and suggests the key research area in the future.The residual distribution range of TLIP is up to 250000 km2,and the largest residual thickness is 780 m.The eruption of basalt happened during 290–288 Ma and belongs to LIPs magmatic event with fast eruption of magma.The lithological units of the TLIP include basalt,diabase,layered intrusive rock,breccia pipe mica-olivine pyroxenite,olivine pyroxenite,gabbro,ultramafic dyke,quartz syenite,quartz syenite porphyry and bimodal dyke.The basalt and diabase of TLIP exhibit OIB-like trace element patterns and enrichment of LILE and HFSE,and mainly belong to high TiO2series.There is an obvious difference in isotope among the basalt from Keping and the basalt and dibase from the northern Tarim Basin.The basalt from Keping with negative Nd and high REE value derives from enriched mantle,and the diabase and basalt from the northern Tarim Basin with positive Nd and low REE value are related to depleted mantle.The crust uplifting in the Early Permian and the development of picrite and large scale dyke and formation of large scale V-Ti-Magnetite deposit in Wajilitag area support the view that the TLIP is related to mantle plume.The TLIP has a temporal-spatial relationship with Permian basic to ultra-basic igneous rock,which is distributed widely in Central Asia,and they represent a tectono-magmatic event with very important geodynamic setting.This paper also suggests that the deep geological process,the relation with mantle plume,mineralization,the relation with environmental change and biological evolution,and the geodynamics of the TLIP will be the key research topics in the future.YANG ShuFeng CHEN HanLin LI ZiLong LI YinQi YU Xing LI DongXu MENG LiFeng 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,12:12
10Improved retracking algorithm for oceanic altimeter waveforms显示文摘Over the deep oceans without land/ice interference,the waveforms created by the return altimeter pulse generally follow the ocean model of Brown,and the corresponding range can be properly determined using the result from an onboard tracker. In the case of com-plex altimeter waveforms corrupted due to a variety of reasons,the processor on the satellite cannot properly determine the center of the leading edge,and range observations can be in error. As an efficacious method to improve the precision of those altimeter observations with complex waveforms,waveform retracking is required to reprocess the original returning pulse. Based on basic altimeter theory and the geometric feature of altimeter waveforms,we developed a new altimeter waveform retracker,which is valid for all altimeter wave-forms once there exists a reasonable returning signal. The performances of the existing Beta-5 retracker,threshold retracker,improved threshold retracker,and the new retracker are assessed in the experimental regions (China Seas and its adjacent regions),and the improvements in the accuracy of sea surface height are investigated by the difference between retracked altimeter observations and ref-erenced geoid. The comparisons denote that the new algorithm gives the best performance in both the open ocean and coastal regions. Also,the new retracker presents a uniform performance in the whole test region. 11Effect of extrusion speed on microstructure and mechanical properties of the Mg-Ca binary alloy显示文摘This work reported the effect of extrusion speeds on the microstructures and mechanical properties of Mg-Ca binary alloy.The results showed that yield strength of the as-extruded Mg-1.2wt.%Ca alloys decrease from∼360MPa to∼258MPa as the ram speed increases from 0.4mm/s to 2.4 mm/s,and the elongation increases from∼3.9%to∼12.2%.The microstructure changes from bimodal grain feature to the complete dynamical recrystallization(DRX)with increase of the extrusion speed.The ultrafine DRXed grains in size of∼0.85μm,the numerous nano-Mg_(2)Ca particles dispersing along the grain boundaries and interiors,as well as the high density of residual dislocations,should account for the high strength.It is believed that the high degree of dynamic recrystallization and the resulting texture randomization play the critical roles in the ductility enhancement of the high-speed extruded Mg alloys.Jingren Li Aiyue Zhang Hucheng Pan Yuping Ren Zhuoran Zeng Qiuyan Huang Changlin Yang Lifeng Ma Gaowu Qin 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,4:9

13Photocatalytic degradation kinetics and mechanism of pentachlorophenol based on superoxide radicals显示文摘The micron grade multi-metal oxide bismuth silicate (Bi 12 SiO 20,BSO) was prepared by the chemical solution decomposition technique.Photocatalytic degradation of pentachlorophenol (PCP) was investigated in the presence of BSO under xenon lamp irradiation.The reaction kinetics followed pseudo first-order and the degradation ratio achieved 99.1% after 120 min at an initial PCP concentration of 2.0 mg/L.The pH decreased from 6.2 to 4.6 and the dechlorination ratio was 68.4% after 120 min at an initial PCP concentration of 8.0 mg/L.The results of electron spin resonance showed that superoxide radical (O 2 · ) was largely responsible for the photocatalytic degradation of PCP.Interestingly,this result was different from that of previous photocatalytic reactions where valence band holes or hydroxyl radicals played the role of major oxidants.Some aromatic compounds and aliphatic carboxylic acids were determined by GC/MS as the reaction intermediates,which indicated that O 2 · can attack the bond between the carbon and chlorine atoms to form less chlorinated aromatic compounds.The aromatic compounds were further oxidized by O 2 · to generate aliphatic carboxylic acids which can be finally mineralized to CO 2 and H 2 O.Yang Li Junfeng Niu Lifeng Yin Wenlong Wang Yueping Bao Jing Chen Yanpei Duan 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,11:9
14Generative Adversarial Network-Based Electromagnetic Signal Classification: A Semi- Supervised Learning Framework显示文摘Generative adversarial network(GAN)has achieved great success in many fields such as computer vision,speech processing,and natural language processing,because of its powerful capabilities for generating realistic samples.In this paper,we introduce GAN into the field of electromagnetic signal classification(ESC).ESC plays an important role in both military and civilian domains.However,in many specific scenarios,we can’t obtain enough labeled data,which cause failure of deep learning methods because they are easy to fall into over-fitting.Fortunately,semi-supervised learning(SSL)can leverage the large amount of unlabeled data to enhance the classification performance of classifiers,especially in scenarios with limited amount of labeled data.We present an SSL framework by incorporating GAN,which can directly process the raw in-phase and quadrature(IQ)signal data.According to the characteristics of the electromagnetic signal,we propose a weighted loss function,leading to an effective classifier to realize the end-to-end classification of the electromagnetic signal.We validate the proposed method on both public RML2016.04c dataset and real-world Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System(ACARS)signal dataset.Extensive experimental results show that the proposed framework obtains a significant increase in classification accuracy compared with the state-of-the-art studies.Huaji Zhou Licheng Jiao Shilian Zheng Lifeng Yang Weiguo Shen Xiaoniu Yang 2020China Communications2020,17,10:8
15A study on solid density primary standard显示文摘The accuracy of solid density primary standard is decided mainly by the accuracy of the diameter measurement of silicon sphere. With traditional five-interferogram algorithm to unwrap phase for di- ameter measurement, the phase steps should be equal to π/2 exactly, but this is almost impossible to achieve in nanometer positioning technique. In order to overcome this defect, we have derived an im- proved five-interferogram algorithm, which not only keeps the high accuracy of traditional five-inter- ferogram algorithm, but also does not require absolute equal step to unwrap phase. Instead, the im- proved five-interferogram algorithm only needs measuring phase shifting. Based on the improved al- gorithm, we have developed a novel interferometer with special etalon, and the cavity length of this etalon can be changed by pressure from vertical direction to realize phase shifting. 18Cupric ion release and cytotoxicity for Yuangong Cu-IUDs and the release behavior of indomethacin for medicated 220 Cu-IUD显示文摘These years Yuangong copper-bearing intrauterine devices (Cu-IUDs) have been used because of less side effects in use. The corrosion of copper is essential to the success of contraception, and the release behavior of indomethacin from medicated Cu-IUD is related to its therapeutic effect. In this study, analytical methods were established to investigate the release behavior of cupric ion of three kinds of Yuangong Cu-IUDs and indomethacin of medicated Yuangong 220 Cu-IUD. Cu-IUDs were incubated in simulated uterine solution (SUS). The concentrations of cupric ion and indomethacin were analyzed by flame atomic absorption spectrometer (FAAS) for 60 days and UV/vis ?3310 spectrophotometer for 60 days, respectively. The morphology of copper after corrosion was characterized by SEM. In addition, we detected cytotoxicity by MTT of L929 mouse fibroblasts cells caused by extracts of the three Yuangong Cu-IUDs. The release behavior of cupric ion for three kinds of Yuangong Cu-IUDs was biphasic, which consisted of the initial burst release and then slow and constant release. In vitro release experiment confirmed a biphasic release of indomethacin from Yuangong 220. The copper wire of Yuangong Cu-IUDs showed uneven corrosion. The RGR value of Yuangong 365 Cu-IUD was smaller than that of medicated Yuangong 220 Cu-IUD and RGR value of medicated Yuangong 220 Cu-IUD was smaller than that of Yuangong 300 Cu-IUD. The cupric ion release and indomethacin release showed biphasic. Indomethacin increased the cupric ion release rate and might diminish the adverse effects caused by burst release of cupric ion. The toxicity grade of these three Yuangong Cu-IUDs was 4. 20The effects of EGR and ignition timing on emissions of GDI engine显示文摘The effects of EGR and ignition timing on engine emissions and combustion were studied through an experiment carried out on an air-guided GDI engine.The test results showed that the ignition timing significantly affected the GDI engine emissions,that the NOx emissions significantly reduced when the ignition timing was retarded,and that NOx emissions decreased with the EGR level increasement.A higher EGR rate could reduce CO emissions while the CO emissions were less affected by the ignition timing.The HC emissions decreased at a lower EGR rate.At 2500 r/min,an appropriate EGR rate could cut down CO emissions.The exhaust gas temperature could significantly decrease with improving the EGR rate,and the exhaust gas temperature at 2500 r/min was clearly higher than that at 1850 r/min.The nucleation mode particles increased clearly,the accumulation mode particle number decreased gradually with the increase of EGR rate,and the typical particle size of nucleation mode particle was in the range of 10–25 nm.ZHAO LiFeng YU XiuMin QIAN DingChao DONG Wei SUN Ping HE Ling YANG Song 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,12:5
