1Cardamonin from a medicinal herb protects against LPS-induced septic shock by suppressing NLRP3 inflammasome显示文摘Aberrant activation of NLRP3 inflammasome has been implicated in the pathogenesis of diverse inflammation-related diseases, and pharmacological molecules targeting NLRP3 inflammasome are of considerable value to identifying potential therapeutic interventions. Cardamonin(CDN), the major active ingredient of the traditional Chinese medicinal herb Alpinia katsumadai, has exerted an excellent anti-inflammatory activity, but the mechanism underlying this role is not fully understood. Here, we show that CDN blocks canonical and noncanonical NLRP3 inflammasome activation triggered by multiple stimuli. Moreover, the suppression of CDN on inflammasome activation is specific to NLRP3, not to NLRC4 or AIM2 inflammasome. Besides, the inhibitory effect is not dependent on the expression of NF-κB-mediated inflammasome precursor proteins. We also demonstrate that CDN suppresses the NLRP3 inflammasome through blocking ASC oligomerization and speckle formation in a dose-dependent manner.Importantly, CDN improves the survival of mice suffering from lethal septic shock and attenuates IL-1βproduction induced by LPS in vivo, which is shown to be NLRP3 dependent. 2Radio Channel Measurements and Analysis at 2.4/5GHz in Subway Tunnels显示文摘There is an increasing demand on wireless communications in subway tunnels to provide video surveillance and sensory data for security,maintenance and train control,and to offer various communication or entertainment services(e.g.,Internet,etc.) to passengers as well.The wireless channel in tunnels is quite unique due to the confined space and the waveguide effects.Therefore,modeling the radio channel characteristics in tunnels is critically important for communication systems design or optimization.This paper investigates the key radio channel characteristics of a subway tunnel at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz,such as the path loss,root mean square(RMS) delay spread,channel stationarity,Doppler shift,and channel capacity.The field measurements show that channel characteristics in tunnels are highly location-dependent and there exist abundant components in Doppler shift domain.In the straight section of the subway tunnel,the measured path loss exponents are close to1.6,lower than that in free space.LI Jinxing ZHAO Youping ZHANG Jing JIANG Rui TAO Cheng TAN Zhenhui 2015China Communications2015,12,1:9
3Effect of Ti-V-Nb-Mo addition on microstructure of high chromium cast iron显示文摘The effects of trace additions of multi-alloying elements(Ti,Nb,V,Mo)on carbides precipitation and as- cast microstructure of eutectic high chromium cast iron containing 2.85wt.%C and 31.0wt.%Cr were investigated from thermodynamic and kinetic considerations.The thermodynamic calculations show that Ti and Nb exist in the multi-alloying system in the forms of TiC and NbC.The formation of VC during the solidification is not feasible from the thermodynamic consideration.XRD analysis shows that the V exists in alloy compounds(VCr2C2,VCrFe8).The first precipitated high melting point particles(TiC,NbC)can act as the heterogeneous substrate of M7C3 carbides, which results in significant refinement of the M7C3 carbides.After the addition of alloying elements,C atom diffusion is hindered due to the strong affinities of the strong carbide forming elements for carbon,which decreases the growth rate of carbides.The combined roles of the increase of nucleation rate and the decrease of carbides growth rate lead to the finer microstructure.Ma Youping Li Xiulan Liu Yugao Zhou Shuyi Dang Xiaoming 2012China Foundry2012,9,2:6

5Phenolic Composition Analysis and Gene Expression in Developing Seeds of Yellow-and Black-seeded Brassica napus显示文摘Breeders have focused on yellow-seeded Brassica napus (rapeseed) for its better quality com- pared with the black-seeded variety. Moreover, flavonoids have been associated with this kind of rapeseed. In this study, we applied lipid chromatography-electrospray ionization mass spec- trometry (LC-ESI-MSn ) to compare flavonoids in developing seeds of natural black-seeded B. na- pus and yellow-seeded introgression lines selected from progenies of B. napus-Sinapis alba so- matic hybrids. Aside from the most abundant phenolic compounds (sinapine and sinapic acid) and 1, 2-disinapoylglucose, 16 different flavonoids were identified and quantified, including (-)- epicatechin, five monocharged oligomers of (-)-epicatechin ([DP 2]- , [DP 3]- , [DP 4] [DP 2]- B2 and [DP 2]- B5), quercetin, kaempferol, isorhamnetin-dihexoside, kaempferol-sinapoyl-trihexoside, isorhamnetin- sinapoyl-trihexoside, isorhamnetin-hexoside-sulfate, and isorhamnetin-3-O-glucoside. Most of the flavonoids accumulated with seed development, whereas some rapidly decreased during maturation. The content of these flavonoids was lower in the yellow-seeded materials than in the black seeds. In addition, variations of insoluble procyanidin oligomers and soluble phenolic acids were observed among both rapeseed varieties. Transcriptome changes of genes participating in the flavonoid pathway were discovered by quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction analysis. 6Roles of miR319-regulated TCPs in plant development and response to abiotic stress显示文摘Elaborate regulation of gene expression is required for plants to maintain normal growth,development,and reproduction.MicroRNAs(miRNAs)and transcription factors are key players that control gene expression in plant regulatory networks.The TEOSINTE BRANCHED1/CYCLOIDEA/PROLIFERATING CELL FACTOR(TCP)family comprises plantspecific transcription factors that contain a conserved TCP domain of 59 amino acids.Some members of this family are targeted by miR319,one of the most ancient and evolutionarily conserved miRNAs in plants.Accumulating evidence has revealed that miR319-regulated TCP(MRTCP)genes participate extensively in plant development and responses to environmental stress.In this review,the structural characteristics and classifications of TCP transcription factors and the regulatory relationships between TCP transcription factors and miRNAs are introduced.Current knowledge of the regulatory functions of MRTCP genes in multiple biological pathways including leaf development,vascular formation,flowering,hormone signaling,and response to environmental stresses such as cold,salt,and drought is summarized.This review will be beneficial for understanding the roles of the MRTCP-mediated regulatory network and its molecular mechanisms in plant development and stress response,and provides a theoretical basis for plant genetic improvement.Yujie Fang Yuqian Zheng Wei Lu Jian Li Yujing Duan Shuai Zhang Youping Wang 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,1:4
7Rapid growth of a large-scale(600 mm aperture) KDP crystal and its optical quality显示文摘Potassium dihydrogen phosphate(KDP) single crystals are the only nonlinear crystals currently used for electro-optic switches and frequency converters in inertial confinement fusion research, due to their large dimension and exclusive physical properties. Based on the traditional solution-growth process, large bulk KDP crystals, usually with sizes up to600 × 600 mm2 so as to make a frequency doubler for the facility requirement loading highly flux of power laser, can be grown in standard Holden-type crystallizers, without spontaneous nucleation and visible defects, one to two orders of magnitude faster than by conventional methods. Pure water and KDP raw material with a few ion impurities such as Fe,Cr, and Al(less than 0.1 ppm) were used. The rapid-growth method includes extreme conditions such as temperature range from 60 to 35℃ , overcooling up to 5℃ , growth rates exceeding 10 mm/day, and crystal size up to 600 mm. The optical parameters of KDP crystals were determined. 8Identification of the candidate genes associated with cellular rejection in pig-to-human xenotransplantation显示文摘To identify the genes associated with cellular rejection in pig-to-human xenotransplantation, the suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH) was used in screening the up-regulated genes from a co-culture of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and porcine vascular endothelial cell line PIEC. The up-regulated cDNAs were cloned into pGEM-T Easy vector and then sequenced. Nucleic acid homology searches were performed using the BLAST program. A subtracted cDNA library including about 300 clones with the expected up-regulated genes was obtained. Twenty-four of these clones were analyzed by sequencing and homology comparison was made. These clones represent the genes of human perforin (PRF1), proteasome, lymphocyte specific interferon regulatory factor/interferon regulatory factor 4 (LSIRF/IRF 4), muscleblind-like (MBNL) protein and a porcine expressed sequence tag (EST) which has 81% homology with human oxidative-stress responsive 1 (OSR 1). 9Fuzzy-Immune PID Control for AMB Systems显示文摘In order to improve the dynamic performance of active magnetic bearing systems with highly nonlinear and naturally unstable dynamics, a new nonlinear fuzzy-immune proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller is proposed by combining the immune feedback law with linear PID control. This controller consists of a PID controller and a basic immune proportional controller in cascaded connection, the nonlinear function of the immune proportional controller is realized by using fuzzy reasoning. 11TSC characteristics of AC aged ZnO varistors显示文摘The AC aging characteristics and mechanism of ZnO varistors have been widely concerned for a long time.In this paper,accelerated aging test of ZnO varistors was carried out based on the 'ten degrees and a half' rule,power loss and thermally stimulated current(TSC) of samples were tested during each aging stage.The test results show that with the increasing of aging time,the power loss increases,the trapped charges increase and the trap level becomes deeper.In addition,the increase of power loss and the increase of trapped charge with the aging time have the same trend.A preliminary analysis shows that the migration of interstitial zinc ions will change the space charge distribution and decrease the Schottky barrier height to cause the change of the trap level.TU YouPing WANG Qian HE Jie LI Xiao DING LiJian 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,7:2
12Flashover Behavior of Cone-type Spacers with Inhomogeneous Temperature Distribution in SF_(6)/N_(2)-filled DC-GIL Under Lightning Impulse with DC Voltage Superimposed显示文摘Before designing DC gas insulated transmission lines(GIL),the insulation characteristics of spacers under a lightning impulse(LI)voltage with a superimposed DC voltage must be clarified.Many experiments have been performed to guide the development of the DC spacer.However,the impacts of thermal stresses on their insulation performance under combined voltage are always neglected,and little attention has been given to the insulation characteristics of spacers in an eco-friendly gas filled DC-GIL.To solve these problems,an experiment setup with the abilities to load the thermal field and the DC voltage with LI voltage superimposed on the cone-type spacer are built.After that,the insulation characteristics of spacers under the combined voltage of DC with lightning impulse at 0.1 MPa SF_(6)/N_(2) gas mixtures are investigated,under different thermal stress conditions.The experiment’s results indicate that:1)The flashover voltage of spacers under the same polarity superimposed voltages is slightly higher than that under LI alone.Conversely,the flashover voltage under reverse polarity superimposed voltages is lower than that under LI alone.2)The longer the duration of the foregoing DC voltage,the differences between the flashover voltage under superposed voltage and that under LI alone are larger.3)The combined flashover voltages are reduced under thermal stress.To ensure the insulation performance of newly designed DC spacers,the insulation test is suggested to be applied under thermal stress and combined voltage of the DC with lightning impulse,especially for superimposed reverse polarity.Guoming Ma Hongyang Zhou Yuan Wang Hanchi Zhang Shijie Lu Youping Tu Jian Wang Chengrong Li 2020CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,2:2
13Xenozoonoses in xenotransplantation显示文摘Pig to human xenotransplantation is one of the possible ways to solve the problem of organ shortage, but the potential risk of xenozoonoses hinders the progress of xenotransplantation. Among pathogens that might cause xenozoonoses, porcine endogenous retrovirus (PERV) is undoubtedly the most noticeable. Current researches show that PERV exists in pigs' genomes and is able to express in multiple tissues and organs in pigs. Other experiments also show that PERV could successfully infect several human cell lines in vitro and could infect SCID mice through pig to mouse islet transplantation. The discussion and research on the risk of PERV is one of the hottest topics in current xenotransplantation, but the question of whether PERV will transmit to human through xenotransplantation has not been answered due to the lack of suitable animal models. 14Feasibility of C_(3)F_(7)CN/CO_(2)gas mixtures in high-voltage DC GIL:a review on recent advances显示文摘With the rise of renewable energy resources,especially offshore wind power plant,the DC transmission concept has attracted more and more attention.The selection of eco-friendly insulating gas,as most critical insulating part of gas-insulated equipment is top priority for developing highly reliable system.Moreover,it is acknowledged that eco-friendly C_(3)F_(7)CN/CO_(2) gas mixtures have become a potential alternative to SF_(6) gas due to its excellent performance.This study reviews the basic physical properties of C_(3)F_(7)CN gas/gas mixtures and insulation properties including the gas gap breakdown and surface flashover performance at DC,as well as lightning impulse voltage.Investigation about the gas stability is presented,including the compatibility of gas with solid materials in gas-insulated transmission line(GIL),and the decomposition characteristics under long-term electrical and thermal stresses.The important progress on the charge accumulation characteristics of gas-solid interface in the novel gas environment under DC voltage stress is analysed.Finally,the key issues that need to be paid attention to and further followed through regarding the application of this novel gas in GIL are summarised and put forward.This study hopefully can provide a complete reference for the development of eco-friendly DC gas insulation equipment with C_(3)F_(7)CN/CO_(2) gas mixtures.Youping Tu Geng Chen Cong Wang Yuming Shao Yujing Tong Chuanyang Li Guoming Ma Tohid Shahsavarian 2020High Voltage2020,5,4:2

17Study on the influencing factors to reduce the recovery time of superconducting tapes and coils for the DC superconducting fault current limiter applications显示文摘Superconducting fault current limiters(SFCLs)are important in improving the stability of electrical power systems.However,the existing resistive-type DC SFCL has a long re-covery time,which cannot meet the requirements of power system auto-reclosure.Thus,it is necessary to investigate the methods of reducing recovery time of SFCLs.In the simulations on superconducting tapes,there is a lack of investigation about the effects of design factors of superconducting tapes and coils such as material,thickness,coil radius,coil winding method on recovery characteristics.The objective of this study is to obtain the effects of material and geometric properties of superconducting tapes and coils on recovery characteristics and obtain methods to reduce the recovery time.The recovery times under different conducting currents are also compared by simulations and exper-iments to verify simulation accuracy.The maximum error is below 40%and most of the cases have an error below 10%.Besides,by increasing tape thickness,the recovery time can be reduced by 22%.Tape materials and coil winding methods can be designed ac-cording to the auto-reclosure and current-limiting requirements of the power systems.The research provided directions for the design of superconducting tape and super-conducting coil for resistive-type DC SFCLs.Bin Xiang Wenqing Wang Hongxu Li Lei Gao Zhiyuan Liu Yingsan Geng Jianhua Wang Youping Tu 2022High Voltage2022,7,3:1

19Environment-friendly Insulating Gases for HVDC Gas-insulated Transmission Lines显示文摘Environment-friendly gas insulating mediums adapted to a DC gas-insulated transmission line(GIL)electric field condition is the key to the next generation of Environment-friendly HVDC GILs.In this paper,we review the literature on sulfur hexafluoride(SF6)alternatives including the scientific understanding,control,and implementation of gas-solid systems in this type of power transmission.First,the structure-activity relationship between the molecular structure and physico-chemical properties of Environment-friendly insulating gases is presented.Then,the search and prediction of important physicochemical properties of gases are summarized.Subsequently,in view of the potential of environmental friendly insulating gases,the swarm parameters of gas discharge and breakdown properties in a quasi-uniform field,inhomogeneous field,and at the gas-solid interface,that need to be taken into account with industrialized DC GILs are discussed.The latest research progress on insulation characteristics,especially the polarity effect in DC gas-solid insulation systems,the sensitivity to the electrode surface state,and the non-uniformity of the electric field,and the influence of metal particles and their variation with air pressure,is highlighted.In addition,the heat transfer characteristics of insulating gases,related to DC GIL transmission with a large current-carrying capacity and the influence of alternative gases on the heat transfer characteristics are described.Finally,aiming at solving the contradiction of low environmental impact,high dielectric strength and low liquefaction temperatures in the selection of alternative gases,an coordinated regulation model for Environment-friendly gases in DC GILs is established.Considerations for future work on this topic are also presented.Geng Chen Youping Tu Cong Wang Jue Wang Zhikang Yuan Guoming Ma Jian Wang Bo Qi Chuanyang Li 2021CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,3:1
