1Hydrology and water resources variation and its response to regional climate change in Xinjiang显示文摘Based on the surface runoff, temperature and precipitation data over the last 50 years from eight representative rivers in Xinjiang, using Mann-Kendall trend and jump detection method, the paper investigated the long-term trend and jump point of time series, the surface runoff, mean annual temperature and annual precipitation. Meanwhile, the paper analyzed the relationship between runoff and temperature and precipitation, and the flood frequency and peak flow. Results showed that climate of all parts of Xinjiang conformably has experienced an increase in temperature and precipitation since the mid-1980s. Northern Xinjiang was the area that changed most significantly followed by southern and eastern Xinjiang. Affected by temperature and precipitation variation, river runoff had changed both inter-annually and intra-annually. The surface runoff of most rivers has increased significantly since the early 1990s, and some of them have even witnessed the earlier spring floods, later summer floods and increasing flood peaks. The variation characteristics were closely related with the replenishment types of rivers. Flood frequency and peak flow increased all over Xinjiang. 3Selective propylene epoxidation in liquid phase using highly dispersed Nb catalysts incorporated in mesoporous silicates显示文摘Selective propylene epoxidation to propylene oxide(PO) with hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2) was carried out in a catalytic semi-batch reactor.High propylene epoxidation activity(44 h^(-1)) was observed over Nb based mesoporous silicate materials Nb-TUD-1 under mild operating conditions.The physical and chemical properties of the Nb based silicates characterized using BET,FTIR,TPD,TEM and UV–Vis revealed that the site isolation and surface acidity are crucial for PO production.Catalyst synthesis methods were investigated for their effects on PO productivity,PO selectivity and H_2O_2 utilization efficiency.It is found that Nb-TUD-1 material synthesized by the sol–gel method is more active and selective than impregnated materials for liquid phase propylene epoxidation.Surface characterization confirms that thus synthesized Nb-TUD-1 catalysts have more Lewis acidity and less Bronsted acidity compared to the catalysts by impregnation.Wenjuan Yan Yuhui Wu Xiang Feng Chaohe Yang Xin Jin Jian Shen 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,6:1

9Overview of control-centric integrated design for hypersonic vehicles显示文摘Hypersonic vehicles(HSVs)exhibit significant advantages over other vehicles,including the wide range of velocity and large airspace types,and these features have contributed to the rapid development of HSVs in the last 20 years.Moreover,hypersonic technologies have become a multidisciplinary research topic in the fields of aerodynamics,propulsion,structure,material,and control.Different types of re-entry gliding,air-breathing cruise,and aerospace vehicles have been designed to realize ambitious tasks,which in turn influenced the technological advancements and process change in the military.This paper summarizes the control-oriented integrated design of HSVs.First,the status of current research on the distinct characteristics and technique issues of HSVs is introduced.Then,the progresses made on complex modeling,guidance and control,and trajectory optimization are elaborated to exhibit the significant research interest in hypersonic technologies.The control-integrated design of HSVs is emphasized to solve the multidisciplinary design problems associated with the model and its control and trajectory.Various strategies regarding the multidisciplinary optimization design are also proposed to solve the integrated design problem.Finally,suggestions are provided for the control-oriented integrated design of HSVs.Yanbin Liu Boyi Chen Yuhui Li Haidong Shen 2018Astrodynamics2018,2,4:1

14Subsurface banding of blended controlled-release urea can optimize rice yields while minimizing yield-scaled greenhouse gas emissions显示文摘Controlled-release urea(CRU)is widely reported to supply crop nitrogen(N)demand with one basal application,thus effectively replacing split applications of urea without diminishing grain yield and N use efficiency(NUE).However,its use for replacement for high-yield split applications of urea(CK)for rice is untested.In addition,the degree to which greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions in rice systems are affected when CRU is substituted for CK remains unclear.During 2017 and 2018,we sampled plant growth and gas emissions in a rice paddy field treated with three CRU types(sulfur-coated urea[SCU],polymer-coated urea[PCU],and bulk blended CRU[BBU])applied via two methods(surface broadcasting on the soil and subsurface banding at 5 cm depth),with CK as a control.The three CRUs led to different soil NH_(4)^(+)-N dynamics,and the N supply pattern under BBU was more beneficial for rice seedling establishment than under SCU and PCU,resulting in grain yield and NUE comparable to those under CK.CRU type showed no significant effect on either CH_(4) emissions or N_(2)O emissions,and broadcast CRUs exhibited significantly higher total GHG emissions than CK.However,banded CRUs significantly reduced the total GHG emissions in comparison with broadcast CRUs,by 9.2%averaged across the two years.Reduced CH_(4) emissions,particularly during the period prior to the middle drainage,contributed largely to the GHG difference.With comparably high grain yield and low total GHG emissions,banded BBU showed a low yield-scaled GHG(GHG emissions divided by grain yield)comparable to that under CK in both years.Overall,our study suggested that N management synchronized with rice demand and contributing to a high NUE tended to minimize yield-scaled GHG.Broadcast CRU can hardly substitute for CK in terms of either grain yield or GHG emissions,but banded BBU is a promising N management strategy for sustaining rice production while minimizing environmental impacts.Weiwei Li Sajjad Ahmad Dun Liu Shen Gao Yuhui Wang Weike Tao Lin Chen Zhenghui Liu Yu Jiang Ganghua Li Yanfeng Ding 2023The Crop Journal2023,11,3:0
