1Induction of Th1-Type Immune Response by Chitosan Nanoparticles Containing Plasmid DNA Encoding House Dust Mite Allergen Der p2 for Oral Vaccination in Mice显示文摘This study was to prepare the chitosan-pDer p 2 nanoparticles and to investigate the effect of chitosan-DNA nanoparticles on immune response in mice by oral delivery of chitosan-DNA nanoparticles. The nanoparticles were synthesized by complexing chitosan with plasmid DNA. The DNA was fully complexed into chitosan-DNA nanoparticles,suggesting a 100% encapsulation efficiency. Chitosan-DNA complex renders a significant protection of the plasmid. No effect on cell viability was observed in both cell types and average cell viability over 100% was obtained. Oral gene delivery with chitosan-DNA nanoparticles can generate a higher level expression of gene in vivo. Oral chitosan-pDer p 2 nanoparticles in BALB/c mice can induce IFN-γ in serum and prevent subsequent sensitization of Th2 cell-regulated specific IgE responses. The data indicate that the oral administration of chitosan-pDer p 2 nanoparticles results in the expression of Der p 2 in the epithelial cells of both stomach and small intestine and the induction of Th1-type immune response.Guoping Li Zhigang Liu Bin Liao Nanshan Zhong 2009Cellular & Molecular Immunology2009,6,1:10
2Therapeutic Effects of DNA Vaccine on Allergen-Induced Allergic Airway Inflammation in Mouse Model显示文摘Vaccination with DNA encoding Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus group 2 (Der p 2) allergen previously showed its effects of immunologic protection on Der p 2 allergen-induced allergic airway inflammation in mice. In present study, we investigated whether DNA vaccine encoding Der p 2 could exert therapeutic role on allergen-induced allergic airway inflammation in mouse model and explored the mechanism of DNA vaccination in asthma specific-allergen immunotherapy. After sensitized and challenged by Der p 2, the BALB/c mice were immunized with DNA vaccine. The degrees of cellular infiltration were scored. IgE levels in serum and IL-4/IL-13 levels in BALF were determined by ELISA. The lung tissues were assessed by histological examinations. Expressions of STAT6 and NF-κB in lung were determined by immunohistochemistry staining. Vaccination of mice with DNA vaccine inhibited the development of airway inflammation and the production of mucin induced by allergen, and reduced the level of Der p 2-specific IgE level. Significant reductions of eosinophil infiltration and levels of IL-4 and IL-13 in BALF were observed after vaccination. Further more, DNA vaccination inhibited STAT6 and NF-κB expression in lung tissue in Der p 2-immunized mice. 3Nucleation field,reversal mechanism and coercivity paradox in two-phased magnetic nanosystem显示文摘The magnetic reversal mechanism has been determined within a micromagnetic model reliably for a two-phased magnetic nanosystem,with the formulae for nucleation fields derived analytically.It is found that the nucleation field HN decreases uniformly as the size of the soft phase Ls increases whereas it increases with the size of the hard phase Lh.The analysis shows that whilst the effect of Lh could be ignored in most cases,where the nucleation field is dominated by the Ls and the calculation could be significantly simplified,the overly simple inverse square law between HN and the soft layer thickness Ls adopted by the previous researchers is not a good approximation.While nucleation is the beginning of the magnetic reversal,pinning is the dominant coercivity mechanism in both two-phased and single-phased magnetic materials,where the crystalline defects exist.Comparison with the experimental data confirms this conclusion,indicating that Brown's paradox results from the much lower effective anisotropy in both single-phased and composite materials,as speculated in the literature.ZHAO GuoPing ZHANG HuaiWu ZHONG ZhiYong CHEN Lang 2011Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,7:3

6An analyzing and experimental method based on the resultant motion signals for SCARA manipulator joints显示文摘Acceleration reflects vibration of a robot,and the vibration signal can reflect the operation state of the robot. Generally,detection of robot mechanical arm failure requires installing sensors on each joint. This study proposes a method to diagnose the fault by single acceleration sensor only,which is installed at the end of the robot. The operation state of the robot is evaluated by analyzing vibration characteristics of its acceleration. First,a data acquisition function of a programmable multi-axis controller is applied to extract practical motion signals of the robot joints during operation,and practical motion signals are analyzed. Second,synthetic methods to determine acceleration of the end joints of SCARA robots in a Cartesian space is used based on the theory of the Jacobian matrix and the frequency domain of final acceleration is investigated. The relationship between end-and joint-vibration frequencies under given speeds is determined. Then,the method is verified by comparing characteristic frequencies of joint acceleration and synthetic acceleration in Cartesian coordinate system at different speeds. Finally,some faults can be diagnosed by comparing the acceleration vibration frequency extracted by a single acceleration sensor installed at the end of robot with the normal running state. 9Symptom clustering in chronic gastritis based on spectral clustering显示文摘OBJECTIVE: Apply spectral clustering to analyze the patterns of symptoms in patients with chronic gastritis(CG).METHODS: Based on 919 CG subjects, we applied mutual information feature selection to choose the positively correlated symptoms with each pattern.Then, we used the Shi and Malik spectral clustering algorithm to select the top 20 correlated symptoms.RESULTS: We ascertained the results of six patterns.There were three categories for the pattern of accumulation of damp heat in the spleen-stomach(0.00332). There were six categories for the pattern of dampness obstructing the spleen-stomach(0.02466). There were two categories for the pattern of spleen-stomach Qi deficiency(0.013 89).There were three categories for the pattern of spleen-stomach deficiency cold(0.009 15). There were five categories for the pattern of liver-Qistagnation(0.01910).There were four categories for the pattern of stagnant heat in the liver-stomach(0.00585).CONCLUSION: Most of the spectral clustering results of the symptoms of CG patterns were in accordance with clinical experience and Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. 20A stability locomotion-control strategy for quadruped robots with center-of-mass dynamic planning显示文摘Locomotion stability is essential for controlling quadruped robots and adapting them to unstructured terrain.We propose a control strategy with center-of-mass(CoM)dynamic planning for the stable locomotion of these robots.The motion trajectories of the swing legs are synchronized with the CoM of the robot.To implement the synchronous control scheme,we adjusted the swing legs to form a support triangle.The strategy is applicable to both static walk gait and dynamic trot gait.In the motion control processes of the robot legs,the distribution of the ground reaction forces is optimized to minimize joint torque and locomotion energy consumption.We also used an improved joint-torque controller with varied controller coefficients in the stance and swing phases.The simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the robot can complete omnidirectional locomotion in both walk and trot gaits.At a given locomotion speed,the stability margins for the robot during walking and trotting were 27.25%and 37.25%higher,respectively,than in the scheme without CoM planning.The control strategy with energy consumption optimization(ECO)reduced the energy consumption of the robot in walk and trot gaits by 11.25%and 13.83%,respectively,from those of the control scheme without ECO.Yangyang HAN Guoping LIU Zhenyu LU Huaizhi ZONG Junhui ZHANG Feifei ZHONG Liyu GAO 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science A(Applied Physics & Engineering)2023,24,6:0
