| 1 | Screening for gastric cancer in China:Advances,challenges and visions显示文摘Gastric cancer(GC)is one of the major cancers in China and all over the world.Most GCs are diagnosed at an advanced stage with unfavorable prognosis.Along with some other countries,China has developed the government-funded national screening programs for GC and other major cancers.GC screening has been shown to effectively decrease the incidence of and mortality from GC in countries adopting nationwide screening programs(Japan and Korea)and in studies based on selected Chinese populations.The screening of GC relies mostly on gastroendoscopy,the accuracy,reliability and safety of which have been indicated by previous studies.However,considering its invasive screening approach,requirements on skilled endoscopists and pathologists,and a high cost,developing noninvasive methods to amend endoscopic screening would be highly needed.Numerous studies have examined biomarkers for GC screening and the combination of biomarkers involving pepsinogen,gastrin,and Helicobacter pylori antibodies has been proposed for risk stratification,seeking to narrow down the high-risk populations for further endoscopy.Despite all the achievements of endoscopic screening,evidence on appropriate screening age,intervals for repeated screening,novel biomarkers promoting precision prevention,and health economics need to be accumulated to inform policymakers on endoscopic screening in China.With the guide of Health China 2030 Planning Outline,we have golden opportunities to promote prevention and control of GC.In this review,we summarize the characteristics of screening programs in China and other East Asian countries and introduce the past and current approaches and strategies for GC screening,aiming for featuring the latest advances and key challenges,and illustrating future visions of GC screening. | Xiaohan Fan Xiangxiang Qin Yang Zhang Zhexuan Li Tong Zhou Jingying Zhang Weicheng You Wenqing Li Kaifeng Pan | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,2: | 21 |
| 2 | A systematic review of metabolomic profiling of gastric cancer and esophageal cancer显示文摘Objective:Upper gastrointestinal(UGI)cancers,predominantly gastric cancer(GC)and esophageal cancer(EC),are malignant tumor types with high morbidity and mortality rates.Accumulating studies have focused on metabolomic profiling of UGI cancers in recent years.In this systematic review,we have provided a collective summary of previous findings on metabolites and metabolomic profiling associated with GC and EC.Methods:A systematic search of three databases(Embase,PubMed,and Web of Science)for molecular epidemiologic studies on the metabolomic profiles of GC and EC was conducted.The Newcastle–Ottawa Scale(NOS)was used to assess the quality of the included articles.Results:A total of 52 original studies were included for review.A number of metabolites were differentially distributed between GC and EC cases and non-cases,including those involved in glycolysis,anaerobic respiration,tricarboxylic acid cycle,and protein and lipid metabolism.Lactic acid,glucose,citrate,and fumaric acid were among the most frequently reported metabolites of cellular respiration while glutamine,glutamate,and valine were among the most commonly reported amino acids.The lipid metabolites identified previously included saturated and unsaturated free fatty acids,aldehydes,and ketones.However,the key findings across studies to date have been inconsistent,potentially due to limited sample sizes and the majority being hospital-based case-control analyses lacking an independent replication group.Conclusions:Studies on metabolomics have thus far provided insights into etiological factors and biomarkers for UGI cancers,supporting the potential of applying metabolomic profiling in cancer prevention and management efforts. | Sha Huang Yang Guo Zhexuan Li Yang Zhang Tong Zhou Weicheng You Kaifeng Pan Wenqing Li | 2020 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,1: | 11 |
| 3 | A newly Found Biotite Syenogranite in the Huangshaping Polymetallic Deposit, South China: Insights into Cu Mineralization显示文摘The W-Sn-Mo-Cu-Pb-Zn polymetallic mineralization in the Huangshaping Deposit is associated with different types of Jurassic granitic intrusions such as quartz porphyry, granophyre and granite porphyry. In this study, we carried out detailed mineralogical, petrological, geochemical, zircon U-Pb geochronological and Hf isotopic studies on a newly found, Cu-mineralization-related finegrained biotite syenogranite at Huangshaping. This syenogranite is mainly composed of quartz(40%), K-feldspar(30%), plagioclase(15%) and biotite(5%), enriching in SiO_2(75.58 wt.%–76.02 wt.%), K_2O(5.24 wt.%–5.78 wt.%), Al_2O_3(12.23 wt.%–12.46 wt.%), Rb(405 ppm–504 ppm), U(18.5 ppm–40.7 ppm), Th(47 ppm–52.3 ppm), Nb(49.6 ppm–57.5 ppm), and Cu(54 ppm–288 ppm) whereas depleting in P_2O_5(0.01 wt.%), TiO_2(0.05 wt.%–0.06 wt.%), Ba(5 ppm–13.1 ppm), Sr(6.8 ppm–23.9 ppm) and Eu(0.04 ppm–0.05 ppm), with A1-type alkaline granite characteristics. Magmatic and hydrothermal zircons were separated from a Cu-mineralized syenogranite sample and yielded the 206 Pb/238 U concordant ages of 156.5±1.8 and 154.4±2.9 Ma, representing the intrusive age of the pluton and probable Cu-mineralization time at the Huangshaping Deposit, respectively. Zircon Hf isotopes suggest a crust-derived(partial melting of Paleoproterozoic basement) magma for the syenogranite, with some degree of crust-mantle interaction. | 4 | Improving the performance of solid oxide electrolysis cell with gold nanoparticles-modified LSM-YSZ anode显示文摘Gold, as the common current collector in solid oxide electrolysis cell(SOEC), is traditionally considered to be inert for oxygen evolution reaction at the anode of SOEC. Herein, gold nanoparticles were loaded onto conventional strontium doped lanthanum manganite-yttria stabilized zirconia(LSM-YSZ) anode, which evidently improved the performance of oxygen evolution reaction at 800 °C. The current densities at 1.2 V and 1.4 V increased by 60.0% and 46.9%, respectively, after loading gold nanoparticles onto the LSM-YSZ anode. | 5 | Helicobacter pylori antibody responses in association with eradication outcome and recurrence: a population-based intervention trial with 7.3-year follow-up in China显示文摘Objective:To identify serum biomarkers that may predict the short or long term outcomes of anti-Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)treatment,a follow-up study was performed based on an intervention trial in Linqu County,China.Methods:A total of 529 subjects were selected randomly from 1,803 participants to evaluate total anti-H.pylori immunoglobulin G(Ig G)and 10 specific antibody levels before and after treatment at 1-,2-and 7.3-year.The outcomes of anti-H.pylori treatment were also parallelly assessed by 13C-urea breath test at 45-d after treatment and 7.3-year at the end of follow-up.Results:We found the medians of anti-H.pylori Ig G titers were consistently below cut-off value through 7.3years in eradicated group,however,the medians declined in recurrence group to 1.2 at 1-year after treatment and slightly increased to 2.0 at 7.3-year.While the medians were significantly higher(>3.0 at 2-and 7.3-year)among subjects who failed the eradication or received placebo.For specific antibody responses,baseline seropositivities of Fli D and Hpa A were reversely associated with eradication failure[for Fli D,odds ratio(OR)=0.44,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.27–0.73;for Hpa A,OR=0.32,95%CI:0.17–0.60].The subjects with multiple positive specific antibodies at baseline were more likely to be successfully eradicated in a linear fashion(Ptrend=0.006).Conclusions:Our study suggested that total anti-H.pylori Ig G level may serve as a potential monitor of longterm impact on anti-H.pylori treatment,and priority for H.pylori treatment may be endowed to the subjects with multiple seropositive antibodies at baseline,especially for Fli D and Hap A. | Tianyi Wang Yang Zhang Huijuan Su Zhexuan Li Lian Zhang Junling Ma Weidong Liu Tong Zhou Weicheng You Kaifeng Pan | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,2: | 3 |

In this paper, the relevant research results of domestic and foreign scholars are reviewed from the perspectives of concepts and models, the evaluation indicator system of urban safety resilience is compared in terms of risk types, evaluation objects, evaluation dimensions and quantitative methods, and the development of international standards for resilient cities is discussed. Based on the literature review, the connotation of the triangular theoretical model of urban safety resilience is explained, and an urban safety resilience evaluation index system applicable to Chinese cities is proposed, which provides support for the development of the national standard “Guide for safety resilient city evaluation” (GB/T 40947-2021). It is applied to six representative cities as examples for evaluation to explore the direction of Chinese urban safety resilience improvement. | 17 | Effects of Helicobacter pylori eradication on the profiles of blood metabolites and their associations with the progression of gastric lesions: a prospective follow-up study显示文摘Objective:This study aimed at examining the alterations in metabolomic profiles caused by treatment of H.pylori infection,and the associations between key plasma metabolites and the risk of gastric lesion progression during follow-up after treatment.Methods:An intervention trial was performed in 183 participants,117 of whom were H.pylori positive participants receiving treatment for H.pylori infection.H.pylori positive participants were prospectively followed for 182 to 1,289 days.Untargeted metabolomics assays were conducted on plasma samples collected at baseline,6 months after treatment,and during continued follow-up.Results:We identified 59 metabolites with differential posttreatment changes between participants with successful and failed H.pylori eradication,17 metabolites significantly distinguished participants with successful vs.failed eradication.Two metabolites[PC(18:1(11Z)/14:1(9Z))and(2S)-6-amino-2-formamidohexanamide]showed posttreatment changes positively associated with successful H.pylori eradication,and were inversely associated with the risk of gastric lesion progression among participants with successful eradication.In contrast,9-decenoic acid showed posttreatment changes inversely associated with successful eradication:its level was positively associated with the risk of gastric lesion progression among participants with successful eradication.Although the identified metabolites showed a temporary but significant decline after treatment,the trend generally reversed during continued follow-up,and pretreatment levels were restored.Conclusions:Treatment of H.pylori infection significantly altered plasma metabolic profiles in the short term,and key metabolites were capable of distinguishing participants with successful vs.failed eradication,but might not substantially affect metabolic regulation in the long term.Several plasma metabolites were differentially associated with the risk of gastric lesion progression among participants with successful or failed eradication. | Wenhui Wu Zongchao Liu Zhexuan Li Weidong Liu Lanfu Zhang Yang Zhang Tong Zhou Weicheng You Kaifeng Pan Wenqing Li | 2022 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,8: | 0 |

| 19 | Efficacy of repeated intravenous esketamine in adolescents with anxious versus non-anxious depression显示文摘Background Patients with anxious major depressive disorder(MDD)are more likely to have poorer outcomes than those with non-anxious MDD.However,the effect of esketamine on adolescents with anxious versus non-anxious MDD has remained unknown.Aims We compared the efficacy of esketamine in adolescents with MDD and suicidal ideation,both anxious and non-anxious.Methods Fifty-four adolescents with anxious(n=33)and non-anxious(n=21)MDD received three infusions of esketamine 0.25mg/kg or active-placebo(midazolam 0.045 mg/kg)over 5 days,with routine inpatient care and treatment.Suicidal ideation and depressive symptoms were assessed using the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale and the Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale.Multiple-sample proportional tests were used to compare the differences between groups on treatment outcomes 24 hours after the final infusion(day 6,primacy efficacy endpoint)and throughout the 4-week post-treatment(days 12,19 and 33).Results In subjects who received esketamine,a greater number of patients in the non-anxious group than the anxious group achieved antisuicidal remission on day 6(72.7%vs 18.8%,p=0.015)and day 12(90.9%vs 43.8%,p=0.013),and the non-anxious group had a higher antidepressant remission rate compared with the anxious group on day 33(72.7%vs 26.7%,p=0.045).No significant differences in treatment outcomes were observed between the anxious and non-anxious groups at other time points.Conclusions Three infusions of esketamine as an adjunct to routine inpatient care and treatment had a greater immediate post-treatment antisuicidal effect in adolescents with non-anxious MDD than in those with anxious MDD;however,this benefit was temporary and was not maintained over time. | Xiaofeng Lan Chengyu Wang Fan Zhang Haiyan Liu Ling Fu Weicheng Li Yanxiang Ye Zhibo Hu Siming Mai Yuping Ning Yanling Zhou | 2023 | General Psychiatry2023,36,3: | 0 |
