| 1 | FY-3E:The First Operational Meteorological Satellite Mission in an Early Morning Orbit显示文摘Fengyun-3 E(FY-3E),the world’s first early-morning-orbit meteorological satellite for civil use,was launched successfully at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on 5 July 2021.The FY-3E satellite will fill the vacancy of the global early-morning-orbit satellite observation,working together with the FY-3C and FY-3D satellites to achieve the data coverage of early morning,morning,and afternoon orbits.The combination of these three satellites will provide global data coverage for numerical weather prediction(NWP)at 6-hour intervals,effectively improving the accuracy and time efficiency of global NWP,which is of great significance to perfect the global earth observing system.In this article,the background and meteorological requirements for the early-morning-orbit satellite are reviewed,and the specifications of the FY-3E satellite,as well as the characteristics of the onboard instrumentation for earth observations,are also introduced.In addition,the ground segment and the retrieved geophysical products are also presented.It is believed that the NWP communities will significantly benefit from an optimal temporal distribution of observations provided by the early morning,mid-morning,and afternoon satellite missions.Further benefits are expected in numerous applications such as the monitoring of severe weather/climate events,the development of improved sampling designs of the diurnal cycle for accurate climate data records,more efficient monitoring of air quality by thermal infrared remote sensing,and the quasicontinuous monitoring of the sun for space weather and climate. | Peng ZHANG Xiuqing HU Qifeng LU Aijun ZHU Manyun LIN Ling SUN Lin CHEN Na XU | 2022 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,1: | 13 |

| 6 | Correction method for non-landing measuring of vehicle-mounted theodolite based on static datum conversion显示文摘During the non-landing measuring of vehicle mounted theodolite, especially under high-speed tracking measurement, the misalignment of theodolite's center of mass and spindle etc. will cause high-frequency vibration of theodolite platform, increase the observation error of targets and even unbelievable results. In this paper, a correction method of non-landing measuring of theodolite based on static datum conversion is presented, which can effectively improve the observation accuracy of theodolite. The CCD camera is fixed to the theodolite platform to calculate the gesture shaking quantity of theodolite platform in geodetic coordinate system through the real time imaging of static datum. The observation results of theodolite are corrected by using such shaking quantity. The experiment shows that the correction accuracy exceeds 10 s of arc. The intrinsic parameter calibration technology of camera based on stellar angular distance and absolute conic put forward in this paper can prevent the estimated error of extrinsic parameters influencing the intrinsic parameter calibration and improve the intrinsic parameter calibration accuracy; the static datum conversion technology can reduce the influence of installation error of camera and theodolite platform on gesture measuring of the platform. The simulation experiment shows that when the shaking range of the platform is less than 30 min of arc, the influence of the three-axis installation error of camera within 3deg on the accuracy of correction results is less than 8 s of arc. | 7 | A displacement-relay videometric method for surface subsidence surveillance in unstable areas显示文摘When measuring the surface subsidence of unstable areas such as railroad beds and large construction fields, it is not practical to always find stable positions to install measurement instruments. Yet installing those instruments in unstable positions will cause measurement errors or even the complete failure of long-term subsidence surveillance. In this paper, the innovative concept and its method of 'displacement-relay videometrics' are proposed. With the method, a double-headed camera is designed, and two constraints, the 'fixation constraint' and the 'homologous constraint', are established to construct the displacement-relay measurement equations, which can concurrently give the subsidence of the points to be measured and the positions where the cameras are fixed. The method and its measurement system are thus capable of automatically measuring the surface subsidence under the condition that the cameras are mounted on unstable locations over long durations. Therefore, the method has the broad prospect of undertaking automatic, long-term and continuous measurement for surface subsidence in engineering projects such as railroad beds, bridges and the ground beds of tall buildings. | 9 | Protective effects of proanthocyanidins on beta-amyloid peptide (25-35)-induced PC12 cell apoptosis by blocking S-phase and increasing p53 gene expression显示文摘BACKGROUND: Current studies related to the effects of proanthocyanidins on Alzheimer’s disease have focused primarily on the signal transduction pathway of cellular apoptosis.However,the influence of p53 gene expression on cell cycle regulation,with regard to the protective mechanisms of proanthocyanidins,has not been reported.OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of proanthocyanidins on cell cycle distribution,cellular apoptosis,and p53 gene expression in β-amyloid peptide (25-35) (Aβ25-35)-induced PC12 cells cultured in serum-free media,and to investigate the molecular neuroprotective mechanisms of proanthocyanidins with regard to cell cycle regulation.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING: A parallel,controlled,cellular,and molecular study was performed at the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology,Guangdong Medical College from July 2006 to July 2008.MATERIALS: Proanthocyanidins were provided by Nanjing Xuezi Medical and Chemical Research Center,China;Aβ25-35 was provided by Sigma,USA;PC12 cells were provided by the Institute of Basic Medical Science,Academy of Military Medical Sciences;and rabbit anti-p53 polyclonal antibody was provided by Santa Cruz Biotechnology,USA.METHODS: PC12 cells were cultured in serum-free media for 24 hours.Cells from the model group were treated with 25 μmol/L Aβ25-35 for 24 hours.Cells in the drug protection group were pre-treated with 30 mg/L proanthocyanidins for 1 hour and then treated with 25 μmol/L Aβ25-35 for 24 hours.The control group was not treated.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Flow cytometry was used to detect cell cycle distribution and rate of apoptosis;reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction was used to detect p53 mRNA expression;and Western blot was used to detect p53 protein expression.RESULTS: After treating with 25 μmol/L Aβ25-35 for 24 hours,the rate of apoptosis and the percentage of cells in S phase were significantly increased (P < 0.01),and p53 mRNA and protein expressions were decreased.Pretreatment with proanthocyanidins for 1 hour blocked the increase in apoptosis and the percentage of cells in S phase in Aβ25-35-induced PC12 cells (P < 0.01) and increased p53 mRNA and protein expressions.CONCLUSION: Proanthocyanidins blocked apoptosis and S-phase arrest in Aβ25-35-induced PC12 cells cultured in serum-free media.The protective mechanism could be related to increased p53 mRNA and protein expressions. | Hanfang Mei Zhaoyang Xie Qifeng Zhu | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,2: | 2 |
| 10 | Ru/NC heterointerfaces boost energy-efficient production of green H_(2)over a wide pH range显示文摘Green hydrogen(H_(2))is an import energy carrier due to the zero-carbon emission in the energy cycle.Nevertheless,green H_(2)production based on electrolyzer and photovoltaics(EZ/PV)remains limited due to the highly pH-dependant and energy exhausting overall water splitting.Herein,we report a series of Ru-nanocluster-modified mesoporous nanospheres(Rux@mONC)as pH-universal electrocatalysts towards both hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and hydrazine oxidation reaction(HzOR).The optimal catalyst Ru_(2)0@mONC realizes remarkable catalytic activity and stability towards both HER and HzOR regardless of electrolytes.As a result,the electrode pair of Ru_(2)0@mONC//Ru_(2)0@mONC requires low cell-potentials of 39/429,405/926,and 164/1,141 mV to achieve the current density of 10/100 mA·cm^(−2),as well as the long-term stability for HzOR assisted electrochemical water splitting in alkaline,acidic,and neutral media,respectively.Those performances are more promising compared to the state-of-the-art electrocatalysts so far reported.A proof-of-concept test demonstrates an efficient production of green H_(2)powered by a single-junction silicon solar cell,which may inspire the use of a cost-effective EZ/PV system.Furthermore,a combined spectroscopic and theoretical study verifies the formation of abundant Ru/NC heterointerfaces in Ru_(2)0@mONC,which not only contributes to the balancing of H*adsorption/desorption in HER but also facilitates the*N_(2)H_(2)dehydrogenation in HzOR. | Qifeng Yang Botao Zhu Feng Wang Cunjin Zhang Jiahao Cai Peng Jin Lai Feng | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,6: | 1 |

| 12 | Effect of clausenamide on hippocampal neuron apoptosis induced by sodium nitroprusside显示文摘BACKGROUND: Aggregation of β-amyloid peptide (Aβ), excitatory intoxication, oxidation injury and inflammation reaction are generally regarded as the main pathogenesis for Alzheimer disease (AD). (–) clausenamide is characterized by promoting intelligent development, resisting oxidation, cleaning free radicals, resisting Aβ neurotoxicity and nerve cell apoptosis, inhibiting over phosphorylation of tau protein, and improving central cholinergic system. However, whether (– ) clausenamide has an effect on hippocampal neuron apoptosis or not need further study. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of (–) clausenamide on survival rate of hippocampal neurons due to sodium nitroprusside (SNP) and analyze the possible pathways. DESIGN: Contrast observation. SETTING: Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Guangdong Medical College. MATERIALS: A total of 12 male SD rats of 24 hours old were provided by the Experimental Animal Center of Guangdong Medical College. The primer was synthesized by Beijing Huada Genetic Engineering Company and (–) clausenamide (99.6%) was provided by Pharmacological Department of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. SNP was provided by Sigma Company. METHODS: Bilateral hippocampus was collected from newborn rats to establish single cell suspension. On the 12th day, hippocampal neurons were pretreated with 0.2, 0.4, 0.8 and 1.6 μmol/L (–) clausenamide for 6 hours; the culture medium was gotten rid of and neurons were washed with non-serum DMEM solution for three times. In addition, non-serum DMEM solution was added with the above mentioned volume of (–) clausenamide and 50 μmol/L SNP to culture neurons for 24 hours and the collected cells were prepared for the experiment. Neurons were equally divided into control group (culture medium control), model group (SNP treatment) and experimental group [(–) clausenamide + SNP]. Experiment of each group was done for three times at least. Survival rate of cells was measured with MTT chromatometry; levels of mRNA of hippocampal neuron bcl-2 and bax gene were detected with reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR); expression of hippocampal neuron Bcl-2 and Bax protein was measured with Western blot technique. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① Effect of (–) clausenamide on survival rate of SNP-induced hippocampal neuron apoptosis; ② bcl-2 and bax mRNA and protein expression of hippocampal neurons. RESULTS: ① Survival rate of hippocampal neurons: Survival rate of hippocampal neurons affected by 0.4–1.6 μmol/L (–) clausenamide was higher in the experimental group than the model group (P < 0.01), and the survival rate was increased with the larger volume of (–) clausenamide. Survival rate was the highest when hippocampal neurons were induced by 1.6 μmol/L, and it had obvious dosage dependence (P < 0.01). ② Expression of bcl-2 and bax mRNA: Hippocampal neurons were pretreated with 0.2–1.6 μmol/L (–) clausenamide for 6 hours in the experimental group and strap of PCR product of bcl-2 gene was brightened gradually. This suggested that, with the increase of concentration, expression of bcl-2 mRNA was increased simultaneously. However, when strap of PCR product of bax gene was darkened, expression of bax was decreased with the increase of concentration. ③ Expression of Bcl-2 and Bax protein: Hippocampal neurons were pretreated with 0.2–1.6 μmol/L (–) clausenamide for 6 hours in the experimental group and strap of PCR product of Bcl-2 protein was thickened gradually. This suggested that, with the increase of concentration, expression of Bcl-2 protein was increased simultaneously. However, when strap of PCR product of Bax protein was thinned, expression of Bax protein was decreased with the increase of concentration.
