| 1 | A hierarchical heterostructure of CdS QDs confined on 3D ZnIn_(2)S_(4) with boosted charge transfer for photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction显示文摘Metal sulfide based materials as photocatalysts for energy conversion are essential to produce value-added chemical fuels,but their intrinsically slow carrier dynamics and low activity are yet to be resolved.Herein,we developed a unique heterogeneously nanostructured ZnIn_(2)S_(4)-CdS heterostructure that involves zero-dimensional(0D)CdS quantum dots uniformly confined on three-dimensional(3D)ZnIn_(2)S_(4)nanoflowers,which achieves an excellent catalytic performance of CO_(2) photoconversion under visible-light irradiation.The obtained hierarchical heterostructure can significantly enhance the light harvesting,shorten the migration distance of carriers,and obviously accelerate the transport of electrons.As evidenced by the ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy,the formed interface can effectively facilitate charge separation and transport.This work opens up a new avenue to carefully design the elaborate heterostructures for achieving optimal charge separation efficiency by lowering interfacial kinetic barriers and energy losses at the interface. | Zezhou Zhu Xiaoxia Li Yunteng Qu Fangyao Zhou Zhiyuan Wang Wenyu Wang Changming Zhao Huijuan Wang Liqiang Li Yagang Yao Qun Zhang Yuen Wu | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,1: | 6 |
| 2 | Total conversion of centimeter-scale nickel foam into single atom electrocatalysts with highly selective CO_(2)electrocatalytic reduction in neutral electrolyte显示文摘To improve the atomic utilization of metals and reduce the cost of industrialization,the one-step total monoatomization of macroscopic bulk metals,as opposed to nanoscale metals,is effective.In this study,we used a thermal diffusion method to directly convert commercial centimeter-scale Ni foam to porous Ni single-atom-loaded carbon nanotubes(CNTs).As expected,owing to the coating of single-atom on porous,highly conductive CNT carriers,Ni single-atom electrocatalysts(Ni-SACs)exhibit extremely high activity and selectivity in CO_(2)electroreduction(CO_(2)RR),yielding a current density of>350 mA/cm^(2),a selectivity for CO of>91%under a flow cell configuration using a 1 M potassium chloride(KCl)electrolyte.Based on the superior activity of the Ni-SACs electrocatalyst,an integrated gas-phase electrochemical zero-gap reactor was introduced to generate a significant amount of CO current for potential practical applications.The overall current can be increased to 800 mA,while maintaining CO Faradaic efficiencies(FEs)at above 90%per unit cell.Our findings and insights on the active site transformation mechanism for macroscopic bulk Ni foam conversion into single atoms can inform the design of highly active single-atom catalysts used in industrial CO_(2)RR systems. | Qikui Fan Pengfei Gao Shan Ren Yunteng Qu Chuncai Kong Jian Yang Yuen Wu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,2: | 2 |

| 4 | Photocatalytic decomposition of acrylonitrile with N–F codoped TiO_2/SiO_2 under simulant solar light irradiation显示文摘The solid acid catalyst, N–F codoped Ti O2/Si O2 composite oxide was prepared by a sol–gel method using NH4 F as nitrogen and fluorine source. The prepared materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), UV–Visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(UV–Vis),ammonia adsorption and temperature-programmed desorption(NH3-TPD), in situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and N2 physical adsorption isotherm. The photocatalytic activity of the catalyst for acrylonitrile degradation was investigated under simulant solar irradiation. The results showed that strong Lewis and Brnsted acid sites appear on the surface of the sample after N–F doping. Systematic investigation showed that the highest photocatalytic activity for acrylonitrile degradation was obtained for samples calcined at 450°C with molar ratio(NH4F to Ti) of 0.8. The degradation ratio of 71.5% was achieved with the prepared catalyst after 6-min irradiation, demonstrating the effectiveness of photocatalytic degradation of acrylonitrile with N–F codoped Ti O2/Si O2 composite oxide. | 9 | Candidate therapeutic agents in a newly established triple wild-typemucosalmelanoma cell line显示文摘Background:Mucosalmelanoma has characteristically distinct genetic features and typically poor prognosis.The lack of representativemucosal melanoma models,especially cell lines,has hindered translational research on this melanoma subtype.In this study,we aimed to establish and provide the biological properties,genomic features and the pharmacological profiles of a mucosal melanoma cell line that would contribute to the understanding and treatment optimization of molecularly-defined mucosal melanoma subtype.Methods:The sample was collected from a 67-year-old mucosal melanoma patient and processed into pieces for the establishment of cell line and patientderived xenograft(PDX)model.The proliferation and tumorigenic property of cancer cells from different passageswere evaluated,andwhole-genome sequencing(WGS)was performed on the original tumor,PDX,established cell line,and the matched blood to confirm the establishment and define the genomic features of this cell line.AmpliconArchitect was conducted to depict the architecture of amplified regions detected by WGS.High-throughput drug screening(HTDS)assay including a total of 103 therapeutic agents was implemented on the established cell line,and selected candidate agents were validated in the corresponding PDX model.Results:A mucosal melanoma cell line,MM9H-1,was established which exhibited robust proliferation and tumorigenicity after more than 100 serial passages.Genomic analysis of MM9H-1,corresponding PDX,and the original tumor showed genetic fidelity across genomes,and MM9H-1 was defined as a triple wild-type(TWT)melanoma subtype lacking well-characterized“driver mutations”.Instead,the amplification of several oncogenes,telomerase reverse transcriptase(TERT),v-Rafmurine sarcoma viral oncogene homolog B1(BRAF),melanocyte Inducing transcription factor(MITF)and INO80 complex ATPase subunit(INO80),via large-scale genomic rearrangement potentially contributed to oncogenesis of MM9H-1.Moreover,HTDS identified proteasome inhibitors,especially bortezomib,as promising therapeutic candidates for MM9H-1,which was verified in the corresponding PDX model in vivo.Conclusions:We established and characterized a new mucosal melanoma cell line,MM9H-1,and defined this cell line as a TWT melanoma subtype lacking well-characterized“driver mutations”.The MM9H-1 cell line could be adopted as a unique model for the preclinical investigation of mucosal melanoma. | Chaoji Shi Ziyue Gu Shengming Xu Houyu Ju Yunteng Wu Yong Han Jiayi Li Chuwen Li Jing Wu Lizhen Wang Jiang Li Guoyu Zhou Weimin Ye Guoxin Ren Zhiyuan Zhang Rong Zhou | 2022 | Cancer Communications2022,42,7: | 1 |
| 10 | The promoting effect of interstitial hydrogen on the oxygen reduction performance of PtPd alloy nanotubes for fuel cells显示文摘Highly efficient and stable oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalysts are remarkably important but challenging for advancing the large-scale commercialization of practical proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs).In this work,we report that the introduction of interstitial hydrogen atoms into PtPd nanotubes can significantly promote ORR performance without scarifying the durability.The enhanced mass activity was 8.8 times higher than that of commercial Pt/C.The accelerated durability test showed negligible activity attenuation after 30,000 cycles.Additionally,H2/O2 fuel cell tests further verified the excellent activity of PtPd-H nanotubes with a maximum power density of 1.32 W·cm^(−2),superior to that of commercial Pt/C(1.16 W·cm^(−2)).Density functional theory calculations demonstrated the incorporation of hydrogen atoms gives rise to the broadening of Pt d-band and the downshift of d-band center,which consequently leads to the weaker intermediates binding and enhanced ORR activity. | Tingting Chao Xuan Luo Mengzhao Zhu Yanmin Hu Yida Zhang Yunteng Qu Hantao Peng Xiaoshuang Shen Xusheng Zheng Liang Zhang Xun Hong | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,2: | 0 |
