1An Experimental Investigation on Heat Transfer Performance of Nanofluid Pulsating Heat Pipe显示文摘The effect of SiO2 particles on heat transfer performance of a pulsating heat pipe(PHP) was investigated experimentally.DI water was used as the base fluid and contrast medium for the PHP.In order to study and measure the character,there are SiO2 /H2 O nanofluids with different concentration and applying with various heating powers during the experiment investigation.According to the experimental result,the high fraction of SiO2 /H2 O will deteriorate the performance of PHP compared with DI water,i.e.the thermal resistance and the temperature of evaporation section increases.It is in contrary in the case of low fraction of SiO2 /H2 O.Finally,the comparison of the thermal performances between the normal operation system and the static settlement system is given.It is found that both the thermal resistance of nanofluid PHP and the temperature of the evaporation section increase after standing for a period,and it is the same trend for the temperature fluctuation at the identical heating power for PHP.Hongwei Jia Li Jia Zetao Tan 2013Journal of Thermal Science2013,22,5:8
2Adaptive detectors in the Krylov subspace显示文摘The validity of the application of the Krylov subspace techniques in adaptive filtering and detection is investigated. A new verification of the equivalence of two well-known methods in the Krylov subspace, namely the multistage Wiener filters(MWF) and the auxiliary-vector filtering(AVF), is given in this paper. The MWF and AVF are incorporated into two well-known detectors, namely, the adaptive matched filter(AMF) and Kelly's generalized likelihood ratio test(GLRT) including their diagonally loaded versions, which form new detectors.Compared to the conventional AMF, GLRT, and their diagonally loaded versions as well as the reduced-rank AMF and GLRT, the probabilities of detection(PDs) of the new detectors are improved especially when the sample support is low. More importantly, the new detectors are robust of the rank selection of the clutter subspace compared to the reduced-rank AMF and GLRT. 3All-solid-state BiVO4/ZnIn2S4 Z-scheme composite with efficient charge separations for improved visible light photocatalytic organics degradation显示文摘Constructing a Z-scheme is a significant approach to improve the separation of photogene rated carriers for effective organic pollutant degradation.Herein,a BiVO4/ZnIn2S4(BZ) Z-scheme composite was successfully synthesized,and applied to photodegrade methyl orange(MO) irradiated by a LED lamp.Anchoring the BiVO4 on the ZnIn2S4 nanoparticles promoted the separation of photogenerated electronholes and broadened the light response range.The detailed characterizations,including surface morphology,elements valence state,and photocurrent performance,demonstrated that the enhanced separation of photogenerated carriers was the pivotal reason for the enhanced photocatalysis reaction.Benefiting from the excellent photocatalytic characteristics,the 5% mass ratio of BZ composite presented the highest MO degradation rate of 0.00997 min^-1,which was 1.9 and 10.3 times greater than the virgin ZnIn2S4 and BiVO4,respectively.Furthermore,the BZ hybrid materials indicated a well photo-stability in the four recycling tests.Deling Yuan Mengting Sun Shoufeng Tang Yating Zhang Zetao Wang Jinbang Qi Yandi Rao Qingrui Zhang 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,2:5
4Mutation of the PHYTOENE DESATURASE 3 gene causes yellowish-white petals in Brassica napus显示文摘Oilseed rape (Brassica napus) with yellow flowers is an attractive ornamental landscape plant during the flowering period,and the development of different petal colors has become a breeding objective.Although yellowish flower color is a common variant observed in field-grown oilseed rape,the genetics behind this variation remains unclear.We obtained a yellowish-white flower (ywf) mutant from Zhongshuang 9 (ZS9) by ethyl methanesulfonate mutagenesis (EMS) treatment.Compared with ZS9,ywf exhibited a lower carotenoid content with a reduced and defective chromoplast ultrastructure in the petals.Genetic analysis revealed that the yellowish-white trait was controlled by a single recessive gene.Using bulked-segregant analysis sequencing (BSA-seq) and kompetitive allele-specific PCR(KASP),we performed map-based cloning of the ywf locus on chromosome A08 and found that ywf harbored a C-to-T substitution in the coding region,resulting in a premature translation termination.YWF,encoding phytoene desaturase 3 (PDS3),was highly expressed in oilseed rape petals and involved in carotenoid biosynthesis.Pathway enrichment analysis of the transcriptome profiles from ZS9 and ywf indicated the carotenoid biosynthesis pathway to be highly enriched.Further analyses of differentially expressed genes and carotenoid components revealed that the truncated Bna A08.PDS3 resulted in decreased carotenoid biosynthesis in the mutant.These results contribute to an understanding of the carotenoid biosynthesis pathway and manipulation of flower-color variation in B.napus.Chuanji Zhao Luqman Bin Safdar Meili Xie Meijuan Shi Zhixue Dong Li Yang Xiaohui Cheng Yueying Liu Zetao Bai Yang Xiang Chaobo Tong Junyan Huang Lijiang Liu Shengyi Liu 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,5:3
5Ferric ion-ascorbic acid complex catalyzed calcium peroxide for organic wastewater treatment:Optimized by response surface method显示文摘Hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))disproportionation,iron precipitation,and narrow pH range are the drawbacks of traditional Fenton process.To surmount these barriers,we proposed a ferric ion(Fe^(3+))-ascorbic acid(AA)complex catalyzed calcium peroxide(CaO_(2))Fenton-like system to remove organic dyes in water.This collaborative Fe^(3+)/AA/CaO_(2)system presented an obvious improvement in the methyl orange(MO)decolorization,and also effectively eliminated other dyes.Response surface method was employed to optimize the running parameters for this coupling process.Under the optimized arguments(2.76 mmol/L Fe^(3+),0.68 mmol/L AA,and 4 mmol/L CaO_(2)),the MO removal achieved 98.90%after 15 min at pH 6.50,which was close to the computed outcome of 99.30%.Furthermore,this Fenton-like system could perform well in a wide range of pH(3-11),and enhance the H_(2)O_(2)decomposition and Fe ions recycle.The scavenger experiment result indicated that hydroxyl radical,superoxide anion free radical,and singlet oxygen were acted on the dye elimination.Moreover,electron spin resonance analysis corroborated that the existences of these active species in the Fe^(3+)/AA/CaO_(2)system.This study could advance the development of Fenton-like technique in organic effluent disposal.Deling Yuan Chen Zhang Shoufeng Tang Zetao Wang Qina Sun Xiaoyu Zhang Tifeng Jiao Qingrui Zhang 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,11:2
6Experimental Study on Condensation Heat Transfer Characteristics of R410A in Short Vertical Tubes显示文摘An experimental study on condensation heat transfer of R410 A in short vertical tubes(8.02 mm ID and 10.7mm ID) was presented. Experiments were performed in eight short copper tubes length varied from 300 mm to 600 mm at mass fluxes range of 58–246 kg m-2s-1 and saturation temperature of 38℃. Effects of mass flux, tube length on condensation heat transfer coefficient were investigated. The distribution of temperature, thickness of condensate film and local condensation heat transfer coefficient along the tube were also analyzed.. It is indicated that the entrance effect played an important role in condensation heat transfer of vertical tube, and the influence of entrance effect on average condensation heat transfer coefficients will weaken with the length of tube in the experimental condensation. The experimental results were compared with four well known correlations available in literatures, and the Chen correlation shows good agreement with the experimental data but with ±40% deviation. 11A Study on the Transport Process in Gas Diffusion Layer of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells显示文摘Gas diffusion layer(GDL) plays a great important role in proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC).Water transport mechanism in GDL is still not clear.In the present study,an ex-situ transparent setup is built to visualize the transport phenomena and to measure the threshold pressure of water in GDL at different temperatures.It is found that the relationship between the breakthrough pressure and the temperature is nearly linear(i.e.the pressure decreases linearly with the increase of temperature).To avoid the problems faced by the continuum models,the pore network model is developed to simulate the liquid water transport through the carbon paper.A uniform pressure boundary condition is used in simulation and the results are similar to the ones obtained in the experiment.The reason is that the contact angle and surface tension coefficient of water in GDLs change accordingly with the change of temperature.Zetao Tan Li Jia Zhuqian Zhang 2011Journal of Thermal Science2011,20,5:1

15Investigating the effect of volatility on the hygroscopicities of acetate nanoparticle aerosols by surface plasmon resonance microscopy显示文摘Under high relative humidity(RH)conditions,the release of volatile components(such as acetate)has a significant impact on the aerosol hygroscopicity.In this work,one surface plasmon resonance microscopy(SPRM)measurement system was introduced to determine the hygroscopic growth factors(GFs)of three acetate aerosols separately or mixed with glucose at different RHs.For Ca(CH_(3)COO)_(2) or Mg(CH_(3)COO)_(2) aerosols,the hygroscopic growth trend of each time was lower than that of the previous time in three cyclic humidification from 70% RH to 90% RH,which may be due to the volatility of acetic acid leading to the formation of insoluble hydroxide(Ca(OH)_(2) or Mg(OH)_(2))under high RH conditions.Then the third calculated GF(using the Zdanovskii-Stokes-Robinson method)for Ca(CH_(3)COO)_(2) or Mg(CH_(3)COO)_(2) in bicomponent aerosols with 1:1 mass ratio were 3.20% or 5.33% lower than that of the first calculated GF at 90% RH.The calculated results also showed that the hygroscopicity change of bicomponent aerosol was negatively correlated with glucose content,especially when the mass ratio of Mg(CH_(3)COO)_(2) to glucose was 1:2,the GF at 90% RH only decreased by4.67% after three cyclic humidification.Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrum(ICP-AES)based measurements also indicated that the changes of Mg^(2+)concentration in bicomponent was lower than that of the single-component.The results of this study reveal thatduring the efflorescence transitions of atmospheric nanoparticles,the organic acids diffusion rate may be inhibited by the coating effect of neutral organic components,and the particles aging cycle will be prolonged.Bo Yang Zhibo Xie Jianguo Liu Huaqiao Gui Jiaoshi Zhang Xiuli Wei Zetao Fan Douguo Zhang 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,4:0

17Study of Denoising in the Electricity Anti-Stealing Detection Based on VMD-WTD Combination显示文摘In order to solve the failure of electricity anti-stealing detection device triggered by the noise mixed in high-frequency electricity stealing signals,a denoising method based on variational mode decomposition(VMD)and wavelet threshold denoising(WTD)was applied to extract the effective high-frequency electricity stealing signals.First,the signal polluted by noise was pre-decomposed using the VMD algorithm,the instantaneous frequency means of each pre-decomposed components was analyzed,so as to determine the optimal K value.The optimal K value was used to decompose the polluted signal into K intrinsic mode components,and the sensitive mode components were determined through the cross-correlation function.Next,each sensitive mode was reconstructed.Finally,the reconstructed signal denoised using the wavelet threshold to obtain the denoised signal.The simulation analysis and experimental results show that the proposed method is superior to the traditional VMD method,FFT method and EMD method,as it can effectively eliminate the noise and enhance the reliability of high-frequency electricity stealing signal detection.Huakun Que Guolong Lin Wenchong Guo Xiaofeng Feng Zetao Jiang Yunfei Cao Jinmin Fan Zhixian Ni 2022Energy Engineering2022,119,4:0
18Process institutionalism:toward an action-centric approach to state extraction显示文摘What is the relationship between actions and institutions in state extraction?State extraction is the process whereby revenue is extracted from constituents to the state.Studies on state extraction in the early modern era mostly adopt the institution-centric approach,which perceives actions as manifestations of institutional and structural characteristics in a social context.However,it does not explain the varying actions and the resultant diversified institutional changes beyond the behavioral and institutional repertoires determined by these characteristics.This article proposes the process institutionalism model as a new paradigm for understanding the relationship between actions and institutions in state extraction.This model employs an action-centric approach,which maintains that actions lead to changes in institutions and the actors’consciousness.It also demonstrates the qualitative contradictions among the incentives in the efficiency and legitimacy dimensions of an action and adopts an eventful explanation of actors’understandings of and selections among the contradictory incentives during the temporal process of actions.Process institutionalism engages theoretical and empirical research on the relationship between actions and institutions by reviewing existing literature on state extraction in history,especially the history of the early modern period,the critical juncture whereby states and other related institutions experienced dramatic changes and displayed regional diversity.Zetao Chen 2022The Journal of Chinese Sociology2022,9,1:0

20Tailoring the multiscale mechanics of tunable decellularized extracellular matrix (dECM) for wound healing through immunomodulation显示文摘With the discovery of the pivotal role of macrophages in tissue regeneration through shaping the tissue immune microenvironment, various immunomodulatory strategies have been proposed to modify traditional biomaterials. Decellularized extracellular matrix (dECM) has been extensively used in the clinical treatment of tissue injury due to its favorable biocompatibility and similarity to the native tissue environment. However, most reported decellularization protocols may cause damage to the native structure of dECM, which undermines its inherent advantages and potential clinical applications. Here, we introduce a mechanically tunable dECM prepared by optimizing the freeze-thaw cycles. We demonstrated that the alteration in micromechanical properties of dECM resulting from the cyclic freeze-thaw process contributes to distinct macrophage-mediated host immune responses to the materials, which are recently recognized to play a pivotal role in determining the outcome of tissue regeneration. Our sequencing data further revealed that the immunomodulatory effect of dECM was induced via the mechnotrasduction pathways in macrophages. Next, we tested the dECM in a rat skin injury model and found an enhanced micromechanical property of dECM achieved with three freeze-thaw cycles significantly promoted the M2 polarization of macrophages, leading to superior wound healing. These findings suggest that the immunomodulatory property of dECM can be efficiently manipulated by tailoring its inherent micromechanical properties during the decellularization process.
