1Models of Spatial Structures of Regional Multi-element Geochemical Anomalies over Copper-Polymetallic Orefields显示文摘Regional stream sediment surveys at a 1:200,000 scale reveal positive and negative regional multi-element geochemical anomalies over medium to large copper-polymetallic orefields of different genetic types in China. Regional geochemical anomalies of orefield refer to those geochemical anomalies that are related to metallogenesis of an orefield in a certain area. The anomaly area is typically 10 to 100 km2. The regional multi-element anomalies related to mineralization can be divided into three groups, that is, the ore-element anomaly association, indicator element anomaly association, and metallogenic environmental element anomaly association. Their common spatial distributions over ore deposits or orefields possess unique structures. The model of spatial structure of regional multi-element geochemical anomalies (RAGSS) of an orefield delineates structural feature possessed by orderly spatial distributions of different groups of multi-element anomaly associations related to orefield metallogenesis. It is used to outline the common metallogenetic anomaly visage that is composed of the orderly spatial distribution of different groups of multi-element anomaly associations. The orderly spatial distribution of multi-element anomalies over an orefield reflects element distributions as they are changed from a dispersed 'out-of-order' state into a concentrated 'orderly' state during the mineralization of an orefield. Three different patterns of the spatial anomaly structure related to mineralization in an orefield can be concluded: (1) nested pattern; (2) eccentric pattern and; (3) peripheral pattern. There are marked differences between multi-element anomaly patterns related and not related to mineralization. 2Selective laser melting of bulk immiscible alloy with enhanced strength:Heterogeneous microstructure and deformation mechanisms显示文摘To overcome the dimension limits of immiscible alloys produced by traditional techniques and enhance their mechanical properties,bulk Cu-Fe-based immiscible alloy with abundant nanotwins and stacking faults was successfully produced by selective laser melting(SLM).The SLM-produced bulk immiscible alloy displays a heterogeneous microstructure characterized by micro-scaledγ-Fe particles dispersed in fineε-Cu matrix with a high fraction(~92%)of high-angle grain boundaries.Interestingly,abundant nanotwins and stacking faults are generated in the interior of nano-scaledγ-Fe particles embedded withinε-Cu matrix.The heterogeneous interface of soft domains(ε-Cu)and hard domains(γ-Fe)not only induces the geometrically necessary dislocations(GNDs)but also affects the dislocation propagation during plastic deformation.Therefore,the bimodal heterogeneous interface,and the resistance of nanotwins and stacking faults to the propagation of partial dislocation make the bulk immiscible alloy exhibit an enhanced strength of~590 MPa and a good ductility of~8.9%.Shengfeng Zhou Min Xie Changyi Wu Yanliang Yi Dongchu Chen Lai-Chang Zhang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,9:3
3On the calibration and verification of Voronoi-based discontinuous deformation analysis for modeling rock fracture显示文摘Since its introduction,discontinuous deformation analysis(DDA)has been widely used in different areas of rock mechanics.By dividing large blocks into subblocks and introducing artificial joints,DDA can be applied to rock fracture simulation.However,parameter calibration,a fundamental issue in discontinuum methods,has not received enough attention in DDA.In this study,the parameter calibration of DDA for intact rock is carefully studied.To this end,a subblock DDA with Voronoi tessellation is presented first.Then,a modified contact constitutive law is introduced,in which the tensile and shear meso-strengths are modified to be independent of the bond lengths.This improvement can prevent the unjustified preferential failure of short edges.A method for imposing confining pressure is also introduced.Thereafter,sensitivity analysis is performed to investigate the influence of the calculated parameters and meso-parameters on the mechanical properties of modeled rock.Based on the sensitivity analysis,a unified calibration procedure is suggested for both cases with and without confining pressure.Finally,the calibration procedure is applied to two examples,including a biaxial compression test.The results show that the proposed Voronoi-based DDA can simulate rock fracture with and without confining pressure very well after careful parameter calibration.Kaiyu Zhang Feng Liu Kaiwen Xia Ying Xu Peng Dong Changyi Yu 2023Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2023,15,8:2

6Energy Demand Prediction of the Building Sector Based on Induced Kernel Method and MESSAGEix Model显示文摘The building sector,including resident,commercial and public services,is one of the most energy-intensive sectors nowadays.The share of buildings’energy consumption in the final energy dramatically increases in various scenarios.As the preliminary work of the final energy prediction,the prediction of useful energy demand of the building sector is essential in the fields of energy-related research,especially for the scenarios design.To this end,this paper presents the prediction of energy demand in the building sector based on the Induced Kernel Method(IKM)for the useful energy.First,similar to other learning-based prediction methods,a database is constructed for the training.Specifically,the database contains not only the historical data of the useful energy demand and related indicators,but also some development templates to induce the prediction.Second,the detailed process is mathematically deduced to predict the useful energy demand components of the building sector,including electricity and heating.Finally,using various countries as examples,prediction results of the useful energy are presented in the numerical analysis.Furthermore,by using useful energy prediction results as the input of the MESSAGEix model,the paper further predicts global final energy of the building sector.TAN Xin ZHAO Zijian LIU Changyi ZHANG Shining CHEN Xing HOU Fangxin YANG Fang GUO Fei 2019Chinese Journal of Urban and Environmental Studies2019,7,4:1

10Effect of microbial fermentation on the sensory characteristics and chemical compositions of Chinese sweet tea(Lithocarpus litseifolius(Hance)Chun)显示文摘Sweet tea,which has hundreds of years of use among in Chinese folk,is a traditional herbal tea with pleasant sweetness,bitterness and astringency.In the current study,we used traditional microbial fermentation to improve sensory characteristics of sweet tea,especially for the reduction of bitterness and astringency.The dynamic changes of non-volatile,volatile compounds and microbial community were investigated during microbial fermentation.The contents of polyphenols,flavonoids,soluble sugar,soluble protein,catechins and dihydrochalcones decreased significantly while the tea pigments,free amino acids and gallic acid content inversely increased during microbial fermentation.A total of 61 volatile compounds were identified and quantified in sweet tea,of which 20 key compounds were identified as odor active compounds(OAV),including 3 aldehydes,1 ketone,4 alcohols,9 esters,4 alkenes and 3 other compounds.In addition,eight fungi and four bacteria were considered as core microorganisms,such as Aspergillus,Alternaria,Cladosporium,Epicoccum,Itersonilia,Penicillium,Periconia,Wallemia,Aureimonas,Enterobacter,Klebsiella and Stenotrophomonas,which were significantly correlated with non-volatile compounds and flavor compounds.These results provided theoretical guidance for processing of fermented sweet tea.Weimin Huang Changyi Zhang Zepeng Gu Cheng Li Zhengfeng Fang Zhen Zeng Zhiqing Zhang Bin Hu Hong Chen Wenjuan Wu Tiqiang Wang Xiguo Lan Yuntao Liu 2022Food Bioscience2022,46,2:1

14Micro-Newton scale variable thrust control technique and its noise problem for drag-free satellite platforms:a review显示文摘High-precision detection in fundamental space physics,such as space gravitational wave detection,high-precision earth gravity field measurement,and reference frame drag effect measurement,is the key to achieving important breakthroughs in the scientific study of fundamental space physics.Acquiring high-precision measurements requires high-performance satellite platforms to achieve“drag-free control”in a near“pure gravity”flight environment.The critical technology for drag-free control is variable thrust control at the micro-Newton scale.Thrust noise is the most important technical indicator for achieving drag-free flight.However,there is no literature about the current status and future prospects of variable thrust control based on thrust noise.Therefore,the micro-Newton variable thrust control technology and the thrust noise of the drag-free satellite platform are reviewed in this work.Firstly,the research status of micro-Newton scale variable thrust control technology and its applications to drag-free satellite platforms are introduced.Then,the noise problem is analyzed in detail and its solution is theoretically investigated in three aspects:“cross-basin flow problem,”“control problem,”and“system instability and multiple-coupled problem.”Finally,a systematic overview is presented and the corresponding suggested directions of research are discussed.This work provides detailed understanding and support for realizing low-noise variable thrust control in the next generation of drag-free satellites.Changyi XU Wenya LI Xuhui LIU Yong LI Chao ZHANG 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science A(Applied Physics & Engineering)2023,24,10:0
15Expression of E-Cadherin in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma is Associated with Clinical Prognosis显示文摘OBJECTIVE To investigate the correlation of E-cadherin expression with clinicopathological parameters and prognosis of patients with oral squa- mous cell carcinoma. METHODS We examined the expression of the protein E-cadherin in 43 oral squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) surgical speciments by SABC im- munohistochemistry. RESULTS There was a significant correlation between the level of E- cadherin expression and tumor stage (P=0.024), invasive pattern (P= 0.009) and lymph node metastasis (P=0.023). No relation was found with age (P=0.084), sex (P= 1.356) and differentiation (P=0.877). Using the Kaplan-Meier method we demonstrated that those cases which showed E-cadherin expression (-) or (+) had a significantly poorer prognosis compared those cases which showed expression (++) or (+++) (P= 0.0146).
