| 1 | A Truncated SVD-Based ARIMA Model for Multiple QoS Prediction in Mobile Edge Computing显示文摘In the mobile edge computing environments,Quality of Service(QoS)prediction plays a crucial role in web service recommendation.Because of distinct features of mobile edge computing,i.e.,the mobility of users and incomplete historical QoS data,traditional QoS prediction approaches may obtain less accurate results in the mobile edge computing environments.In this paper,we treat the historical QoS values at different time slots as a temporal sequence of QoS matrices.By incorporating the compressed matrices extracted from QoS matrices through truncated Singular Value Decomposition(SVD)with the classical ARIMA model,we extend the ARIMA model to predict multiple QoS values simultaneously and efficiently.Experimental results show that our proposed approach outperforms the other state-of-the-art approaches in accuracy and efficiency. | Chao Yan Yankun Zhang Weiyi Zhong Can Zhang Baogui Xin | 2022 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2022,27,2: | 9 |
| 2 | Psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare workers:a cross-sectional study in China显示文摘Background Healthcare workers fighting against the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic are under tremendous pressure,which puts them at an increased risk of developing psychological problems.Aims This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of psychological problems in different healthcare workers(ie,physicians,medical residents,nurses,technicians and public health professionals)during the COVID-19 pandemic in China and explore factors that are associated with the onset of psychological problems in this population during this public health crisis.Methods A cross-sectional,web-based survey was conducted in February 2020 among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Psychological problems were assessed using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale,Patient Health Questionnaire and Insomnia Severity Index.Logistic regression analyses were used to explore the factors that were associated with psychological problems.Results The prevalence of symptoms of anxiety,depression,insomnia and the overall psychological problems in healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in China was 46.04%,44.37%,28.75%and 56.59%,respectively.The prevalence of the overall psychological problems in physicians,medical residents,nurses,technicians and public health professionals was 60.35%,50.82%,62.02%,57.54%and 62.40%,respectively.Compared with healthcare workers who did not participate in front-line work,front-line healthcare workers had a higher risk of anxiety,insomnia and overall psychological problems.In addition,attention to negative or neutral information about the pandemic,receiving negative feedback from families and friends who joined front-line work,and unwillingness to join front-line work if given a free choice were three major factors for these psychological problems.Conclusions Psychological problems are pervasive among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Receiving negative information and participating in front-line work appear to be.important risk factors for psychological problems.The psychological health of different healthcare workers should be protected during the COVID-19 pandemic with timely interventions and proper information feedback. | Jianyu Que Le Shi Jiahui Deng Jiajia Liu Li Zhang Suying Wu Yimiao Gong Weizhen Huang Kai Yuan Wei Yan Yankun Sun Maosheng Ran Yanping Bao Lin Lu | 2020 | General Psychiatry2020,33,3: | 8 |
| 3 | A numerical study of macro-mesoscopic mechanical properties of gangue backfill under biaxial compression显示文摘Based on the Particle Flow Code(PFC^(2D)) program,we set up gangue backfill models with different gangue contents and bond strength,and studied the stress-strain behaviours,the pattern of shear band and force chains,motion and fragmentation of particles under biaxial compression.The results show that when the bond strength or contents of gangue are high,the peak strength is high and the phenomena of post-peak softening and fluctuation are obvious.When gangue contents are low,the shape of the shear band is symmetrical and most strong force chains transfer in soil particles.With an increase in gangue content,the shape of the shear band becomes irregular and the majority of strong force chains turn to transfer in gangue particles gradually,most of which distribute along the axial direction.When the gangue content is higher than 50%,the interconnectivity of strong force chains decreases gradually:at the same time,the strong force chains become tilted and the stability of the system tends to decrease.With an increase in external loading,the coordination numbers of the system increase at first and then decrease and the main pattern of force chains changes into columnar from annular.However,after the forming of the advantageous shear band,the force chains external to the shear band maintain their columnar shape while the inner ones bend obviously.As a result,annular force chains form. | Huang Zhimin Ma Zhanguo Zhang Lei Gong Peng Zhang Yankun Liu Fei | 2016 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,2: | 8 |
| 4 | Face Recognition Based on Support Vector Machine and Nearest Neighbor Classifier显示文摘Support vector machine (SVM), as a novel approach in pattern recognition, has demonstrated a success in face detection and face recognition. In this paper, a face recognition approach based on the SVM classifier with the nearest neighbor classifier (NNC) is proposed. The principal component analysis (PCA) is used to reduce the dimension and extract features. Then one-against-all stratedy is used to train the SVM classifiers. At the testing stage, we propose an algorithm by combining SVM classifier with NNC to improve the correct recognition rate. We conduct the experiment on the Cambridge ORL face database. | 5 | Single-Crystalline In Ga As Nanowires for Room-Temperature High-Performance Near-Infrared Photodetectors显示文摘In Ga As is an important bandgap-variable ternary semiconductor which has wide applications in electronics and optoelectronics. In this work, single-crystal In Ga As nanowires were synthesized by a chemical vapor deposition method.Photoluminescence measurements indicate the In Ga As nanowires have strong light emission in near-infrared region. For the first time, photodetector based on as-grown In Ga As nanowires was also constructed. It shows good light response over a broad spectral range in infrared region with responsivity of 6.5×10~3 AW^(-1) and external quantum efficiency of 5.04×10~5%. | 6 | MiR-214-3p promotes proliferation and inhibits estradiol synthesis in porcine granulosa cells显示文摘Background: Granulosa cells(GCs) proliferation and estradiol synthesis significantly affect follicular development.The miR-214-3p expression in the ovarian tissues of high-yielding sows is higher than that in low-yielding sows,indicating that miR-214-3p may be involved in sow fertility. However, the functions and mechanisms of miR-214-3p on GCs are unclear. This study focuses on miR-214-3p in terms of the effects on GCs proliferation and estradiol synthesis.Results: Our findings revealed that miR-214-3p promotes proliferation and inhibits estradiol synthesis in porcine GCs. MiR-214-3p can increase the percentage of S-phase cells, the number of EdU labeled positive cells, and cell viability. However, E2 concentration was reduced after miR-214-3p agomir treatment. We also found that miR-214-3p up-regulates the expression of cell cycle genes including cell cycle protein B(Cyclin B), cell cycle protein D(Cyclin D), cell cycle protein E(Cyclin E), and cyclin-dependent kinase 4(CDK4) at the transcription and translation levels, but down-regulates the mRNA and protein levels of cytochrome P450 family 11 subfamily A member 1(CYP11A1), cytochrome P450 family 19 subfamily A member 1(CYP19A1), and steroidogenic acute regulatory protein(StAR)(i.e., the key enzymes in estradiol synthesis). | 7 | Hepatitis B virus evades immune recognition via RNA adenosine deaminase ADAR1-mediated viral RNA editing in hepatocytes显示文摘HBV is considered as a“stealth”virus that does not invoke interferon(IFN)responses;however,the mechanisms by which HBV bypasses innate immune recognition are poorly understood.In this study,we identified adenosine deaminases acting on RNA 1(ADAR1),which is a key factor in HBV evasion from IFN responses in hepatocytes.Mechanically,ADAR1 interacted with HBV RNAs and deaminated adenosine(A)to generate inosine(I),which disrupted host immune recognition and thus promoted HBV replication.Loss of ADAR1 or its deficient deaminase activity promoted IFN responses and inhibited HBV replication in hepatocytes,and blocking the IFN signaling pathways released the inhibition of HBV replication caused by ADAR1 deficiency.Notably,the HBV X protein(HBx)transcriptionally promoted ADAR1 expression to increase the threshold required to trigger intrinsic immune activation,which in turn enhanced HBV escape from immune recognition,leading to persistent infection.Supplementation with 8-azaadenosine,an ADAR1 inhibitor,efficiently enhanced liver immune activation to promote HBV clearance in vivo and in vitro.Taken together,our results delineate a molecular mechanism by which HBx promotes ADAR1-derived HBV immune escape and suggest a targeted therapeutic intervention for HBV infection. | Liyuan Wang Yang Sun Xiaojia Song Zehua Wang Yankun Zhang Ying Zhao Xueqi Peng Xiaodong Zhang Chunyang Li Chengjiang Gao Nailin Li Lifen Gao Xiaohong Liang Zhuanchang Wu Chunhong Ma | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,8: | 2 |
| 8 | Enhancing hydrogen evolution on the basal plane of transition metal dichacolgenide van der Waals heterostructures显示文摘Recent years have seen a surge in the use of low-dimensional transition metal dichacolgenides,such as MoS_(2),as catalysts for the electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction.In particular,sulfur vacancies in MoS_(2)can activate the inert basal plane,but that requires an unrealistically high defect concentration(~9%)to achieve optimal activity.In this work,we demonstrate by firstprinciples calculations that assembling van der Waals heterostructures can enhance the catalytic activity of MoS_(2)with low concentrations of sulfur vacancies.We integrate MoS_(2)with various two-dimensional nanostructures,including graphene,h-BN,phosphorene,transition metal dichacolgenides,MXenes,and their derivatives,aiming to fine-tune the free energy of atomic hydrogen adsorption.Remarkably,an optimal free energy can be achieved for a low sulfur vacancy concentration of~2.5%in the MoS_(2)/MXene-OH heterostructure,as well as high porosity and tunability.These results demonstrate the potential of combining two-dimensional van der Waals assembly with defect engineering for efficient hydrogen production. | Faling Ling Wei Kang Huirong Jing Wen Zeng Yankun Chen Xiaoqing Liu Yixin Zhang Lin Qi Liang Fang Miao Zhou | 2019 | npj Computational Materials2019,,1: | 2 |

| 15 | Development of a novel platform for recombinant protein production in Corynebacterium glutamicum on ethanol显示文摘Corynebacterium glutamicum represents an emerging recombinant protein expression factory due to its ideal features for protein secretion,but its applicability is harmed by the lack of an autoinduction system with tight regulation and high yield.Here,we propose a new recombinant protein manufacturing platform that leverages ethanol as both a delayed carbon source and an inducer.First,we reanalysed the native inducible promoter PICL from the acetate uptake operon and found that its limited capacity is the result of the inadequate translation initial architecture.The two strategies of bicistronic design and ribozyme-based insulator can ensure the high activity of this promoter.Next,through transcriptional engineering that alters transcription factor binding sites(TFBSs)and the first transcribed sequence,the truncated promoter PA256 with a dramatically higher transcription level was generated.When producing the superfolder green fluorescent protein(sfGFP)under 1%ethanol conditions,PA256 exhibited substantially lower protein accumulation in prophase but an approximately 2.5-fold greater final yield than the strong promoter PH36.This superior expression mode was further validated using two secreted proteins,camelid antibody fragment(VHH)and endoxylanase(XynA).Furthermore,utilizing CRISPRi technology,ethanol utilization blocking strains were created,and PA256 was shown to be impaired in the phosphotransacetylase(PTA)knockdown strains,indicating that ethanol metabolism into the tricarboxylic acid cycle is required for PA256 upregulation.Finally,this platform was applied to produce the“de novo design”protein NEO-2/15,and by introducing the N-propeptide of CspB,NEO-2/15 was effectively secreted with the accumulation 281 mg/L obtained after 24 h of shake-flask fermentation.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first report of NEO-2/15 secretory overexpression. | Xinyu Yu Xiuxia Liu Xiong Gao Xunxun Luo Yankun Yang Ye Li Chunli Liu Chong Zhang Zhonghu Bai | 2022 | Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2022,7,2: | 1 |

| 17 | Oleic acid reduces steroidogenesis by changing the lipid type stored in lipid droplets of ovarian granulosa cells显示文摘Background:Oleic acid is an abundant free fatty acid present in livestock that are in a negative energy-balance state,and it may have detrimental effects on female reproduction and fertility.Oleic acid induces lipid accumulation in bovine granulosa cells,which leads to a foam cell-like morphology and reduced steroidogenesis.However,why oleic acid increases lipid accumulation but decreases steroidogenesis remains unclear.This study focused on oleic acid’s effects on lipid type and steroidogenesis.Results:Oleic acid increased the lipid accumulation in a concentration-dependent manner and mainly increased the triglyceride level and decreased the cholesterol ester level.Oleic acid also led to a decline in estradiol and progesterone production in porcine granulosa cells in vitro.In addition,oleic acid up-regulated the expression of CD36 and diacylglycerol acyltransferase 2,but down-regulated the expression of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutarylcoenzyme A reductase,scavenger receptor class B member 1 and acetyl-Coenzyme A acetyltransferase 2,as well as steroidogenesis-related genes,including cytochrome P450 family 11 subfamily A member 1,cytochrome P450family 19 subfamily A member 1 and 3 as well as steroidogenic acute regulatory protein at the mRNA and protein levels.An oleic acid-rich diet also enhanced the triglyceride levels and reduced the cholesterol levels in ovarian tissues of female mice,which resulted in lower estradiol levels than in control-fed mice.Compared with the control,decreases in estrus days and the numbers of antral follicles and corpora lutea,as well as an increase in the numbers of the atretic follicles,were found in the oleic acid-fed female mice.Conclusions:Oleic acid changed the lipid type stored in lipid droplets of ovarian granulosa cells,and led to a decrease in steroidogenesis.These results improve our understanding of fertility decline in livestock that are in a negative energy-balance state. | Xiaoge Zhou Zhaoyi Mo Yankun Li Liang Huang Sihai Yu Lan Ge Yamei Hu Shengjie Shi Lutong Zhang Liguang Wang Lei Gao Gongshe Yang Guiyan Chu | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,3: | 1 |
