| 1 | LDHs derived nanoparticle-stacked metal nitride as interlayer for long-life lithium sulfur batteries显示文摘Shuttle effect is one of the most serious disadvantages in lithium-sulfur battery which results in poor cycle performance and hinders the commercialization of Li-S battery.To reduce the dissolution of polysulfides into the electrolyte and prolong the cycling stability,nanoparticle-stacked metal nitride derived from layered double hydroxides(LDHs)as an interlayer was inserted between sulfur cathode and separator to confine polysulfides by physical and chemical interactions.Meanwhile,the surface of metal nitride will form an oxide passivation layer.The passivation layer possesses hydrophilic metal-O group and provides a polar surface for strong binding with polysulfide.What’s more,the nanoparticlesstacked structure could immerge and retain electrolyte well,which could enhance the ability of promoting the electron exchange rate.The sulfur electrode with nanoparticle-stacked metal nitride interlayer has an excellent cycle performance owing to the interactions between metal nitride and polysulfides.The battery delivered an initial capacity of 764.6 m Ahg^(-1) and still possesses a capacity of 477.5 mAhg^(-1) with the retention of 62.4% after 800 cycles. | Zhen Li Zhaoling Ma Yanyong Wang Ru Chen Zhenjun Wu Shuangyin Wang | 2018 | Science Bulletin2018,63,3: | 8 |
| 2 | Apoptosis in glioma-bearing rats after neural stem cell transplantation显示文摘Abnormal activation of the Ras/Raf/Mek/Erk signaling cascade plays an important role in glioma. Inhibition of this aberrant activity could effectively hinder glioma cell proliferation and promote cell apoptosis. To investigate the mechanism of glioblastoma treatment by neural stem cell transplantation with respect to the Ras/Raf/Mek/Erk pathway, C6 glioma cells were prepared in suspension and then infused into the rat brain to establish a glioblastoma model. Neural stem cells isolated from fetal rats were then injected into the brain of this glioblastoma model. Results showed that Raf-1, Erk and Bcl-2 protein expression significantly increased, while Caspase-3 protein expression decreased. After transplantation of neural stem cells, Raf-1, Erk and Bcl-2 protein expression significantly decreased, while Caspase-3 protein expression significantly increased. | 4 | Computer Simulation of Mechanical Properties of Nano-scale Cu/FeS Composite显示文摘The mechanical properties of nano-scale Cu/FeS composite were simulated by molecular dynamics (MD) simulation in this paper. Through the analysis on the stress-strain curves, the results of MD simulation were in good agreement with mechanisms of macroscopic deformation. When the size of particles was smaller than a certain value, the relationship between yield strength and size, which was different from the large size crystals abided by the contrary Hall-Petch relationship. Based on the discussion of nano-scale Cu/FeS composite, some interesting conclusions were obtained. For example, the 'S' type curves were discovered in stress-strain curves and the anisotropy of FeS was very evident when the exposures of reinforcing phase (FeS) were different and so on. The basic theories and calculations of the composite that contains nano-scale particles were discussed. | 6 | Super-absorbent swellable polymer as grouting material for treatment of karst water inrush显示文摘Grouting is the most commonly used method to control water inrush in underground engineering.Traditional cement-based materials are easy to dilute and hard to coagulate under the influence of large flow and high-velocity water inrush.To address these deficiencies,a new type of polymer grouting material with an excellent expansion ratio was synthesised.The material quickly absorbs water and has an expansion ratio of 1:300.The material is composed of a superabsorbent polymer(SAP),glycerol,and ethanol.The effects of water quality on the expansion ratio and expansion rate of the material were examined,and the best solid–liquid ratio for the slurry was determined by fluidity measurements.A karst specially designed pipeline water inrush test device showed that 800 g of SAP can achieve 0.6 m/s water flow blockage in the smooth pipeline,demonstrating that the ability of the SAP slurry to block water inrush is superior to those of other materials.This study provides a reference for water inrush plugging,and has important implications for the reduction and control of karst pipeline-type water inrush disasters,ensuring the safety of construction sites and preventing loss of life and damage to property. | Shucai Li Chenyang Ma Rentai Liu Mengjun Chen Jia Yan Zhenjun Wang Shaolong Duan Huasheng Zhang | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,5: | 2 |

| 10 | Growth of 12-inch uniform monolayer graphene film on molten glass and its application in PbI2-based photodetector显示文摘Direct growth of large area uniform graphene on functional insulating materials is essential for engineering versatile applications of graphene. However, the existing synthesis approaches can hardly avoid the generation of non-uniform multilayer graphene along the gas flow direction, affording huge challenges for further scaling up. Herein, by exploiting the molten state of soda-lime glass, we have accomplished the direct growth of large area uniform (up to 30 cm × 6 cm) graphene via a facile chemical vapor deposition route on low cost soda-lime glass. The use of molten glass eliminates the chemically active sites (surface corrugations, scratches, defects), and improves the mobility of carbon precursors, affording uniform nucleation and growth of monolayer graphene. Intriguingly, thus-obtained graphene acts as an ideal coating layer for the surface crystallographic modification of soda-lime glass, making it epitaxy substrates for synthesizing high-quality PbI2 nanoplates and continues films. Accordingly, a prototype photodetector was fabricated to present excellent photoelectrical properties of high responsivity (~ 600 on/off current ratio) and fast response speed (18 μs). | 16 | Development of a Widely Applicable and Simple Prognostic Score for Patients with Acute-on-chronic Liver Failure显示文摘Background and Aims:Acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF)tends to progress rapidly with high short-term mortality.We aimed to create a widely applicable,simple prognostic(WASP)score for ACLF patients.Methods:A retrospective cohort of ACLF cases recruited from three centers in China were divided into training and validation sets to develop the new score.A prospective longitudinal cohort was recruited for further validation.Results:A total of 541 cases were included in the training set,and seven independent ACLF prognostic factors were screened to construct a new quantitative WASP-ACLF table.In the validation set of 671 cases,WASP-ACLF showed better predictive ability for 28-day and 90-day mortality than the currently used prognostic scores at baseline,day 3,week 1,and week 2.The predictive efficacy and clinical validity of the model improved over time.Patients were assigned to low-,intermediate-,and high-risk groups by their WASP-ACLF scores.Compared with the other two groups,intermediate-risk patients had a more uncertain prognosis,with a 90-day mortality of 44.4–50.6%.Sequential assessments at weeks 1 and 2 found the 90-day mortality of intermediate-risk groups was<20%forpatients with a≥2 point decrease in WASP-ACLF and was up to 56%for patients with a≥2 points increase.Similar results were observed in prospective data.Conclusions:The new ACLF prognostic score was simple,widely applicable,and had good predictive efficacy.Continuous assessments and trend of change in WASP-ACLF need to be considered,especially for intermediate-risk patients. | Zhenjun Yu Yu Zhang Yuhan Li Feng Zhou Manman Xu Shaoli You Yu Chen Bing Zhu Ming Kong Fangjiao Song Shaojie Xin Zhongping Duan Tao Han China Network for Severe Liver Diseases | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,5: | 1 |
