| 3 | Presence of carboxylate salts in marine carbonate strata of the Ordos Basin and their impact on hydrocarbon generation evaluation of low TOC, high maturity source rocks显示文摘The total organic carbon(TOC)in the marine source rock of the Ordos Basin mostly ranges from 0.2%to 0.5%.The industrial standard commonly states that the TOC value has to be no less than 0.5%(0.4%for high mature or over-mature source rock)to form large petroleum reservoirs.However,gas source correlation indicates that the natural gas in the Jingbian gas field does receive contribution from marine source rocks.In order to determine the effect of carboxylate salts(or called as organic acid salts)on TOC in highly mature source rocks with low TOC value,we sampled the Ordovician marine source rock and the Permian transitional facies source rock in one drilled well in the southern Ordos Basin and performed infrared and GC-MS analysis.It is found that both kerogen-derived organic acids and carboxylate salt-conversed organic acids exist in both marine and transitional facies source rocks.The carboxylate salt-conversed organic acids mainly come from the complete acidification of carboxylate salts,which confirms the presence of carboxylate salts in the marine source rocks.Although the C16:O peak is the main peak for the organic acids both before and after acidification,the carboxylate salt-conversed organic acids have much less relative abundance ahead of C16:O compared with that of the kerogen-based and free organic acids.This observation suggests that the kerogen-based and free organic acids mainly decarboxylate to form lower carboxylic acids,whereas the carboxylate salt-conversed organic acids mainly break down into paraffins.By using calcium hexadecanoate as the reference to quantify the kerogen-derived and carboxylate salt-conversed organic acids,the high TOC(>2.0%)marine source rocks have low carboxylate salt content and the low TOC(0.2%–0.5%)marine source rocks contain high content of carboxylate salt.Therefore,for the marine source rocks with 0.2%–0.5%TOC,the carboxylate salts may be a potential gas source at high maturity stage. | LIU QuanYou JIN ZhiJun LIU WenHui LU LongFei MENG QianXiang TAO Ye HAN PinLong | 2013 | Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,12: | 9 |
| 4 | Stability improvement under high efficiency—next stage development of perovskite solar cells显示文摘With efficiency of perovskite solar cells(PSCs) overpassing 23%, to realize their commercialization, the biggest challenge now is to boost the stability to the same level as conventional solar cells. Thus, tremendous effort has been directed over the past few years toward improving the stability of these cells. Various methods were used to improve the stability of bulk perovskites,including compositional engineering, interface adjustment, dimensional manipulation, crystal engineering, and grain boundary decoration. Diverse device configurations, carrier transporting layers, and counter electrodes are investigated. To compare the stability of PSCs and clarify the degradation mechanism, diverse characterization methods were developed. Overall stability of PSCs has become one central topic for the development of PSCs. | 5 | An assessment of arctic sea ice concentration retrieval based on “HY-2” scanning radiometer data using field observations during CHINARE-2012 and other satellite instruments显示文摘A retrieval algorithm of arctic sea ice concentration(SIC) based on the brightness temperature data of 'HY-2' scanning microwave radiometer has been constructed. The tie points of the brightness temperature were selected based on the statistical analysis of a polarization gradient ratio and a spectral gradient ratio over open water(OW), first-year ice(FYI), and multiyear ice(MYI) in arctic. The thresholds from two weather filters were used to reduce atmospheric effects over the open ocean. SIC retrievals from the 'HY-2' radiometer data for idealized OW, FYI, and MYI agreed well with theoretical values. The 2012 annual SIC was calculated and compared with two reference operational products from the National Snow and Ice Data Center(NSIDC) and the University of Bremen. The total ice-covered area yielded by the 'HY-2' SIC was consistent with the results from the reference products. The assessment of SIC with the aerial photography from the fifth Chinese national arctic research expedition(CHINARE) and six synthetic aperture radar(SAR) images from the National Ice Service was carried out. The 'HY-2' SIC product was 16% higher than the values derived from the aerial photography in the central arctic. The root-mean-square(RMS) values of SIC between 'HY-2' and SAR were comparable with those between the reference products and SAR, varying from 8.57% to 12.34%. | 6 | The uniaxial compressive strength of the Arctic summer sea ice显示文摘The results on the uniaxial compressive strength of Arctic summer sea ice are presented based on the samples collected during the fifth Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition in 2012(CHINARE-2012). Experimental studies were carried out at different testing temperatures(-3,-6 and-9°C), and vertical samples were loaded at stress rates ranging from 0.001 to 1 MPa/s. The temperature, density, and salinity of the ice were measured to calculate the total porosity of the ice. In order to study the effects of the total porosity and the density on the uniaxial compressive strength, the measured strengths for a narrow range of stress rates from 0.01 to 0.03 MPa/s were analyzed. The results show that the uniaxial compressive strength decreases linearly with increasing total porosity, and when the density was lower than 0.86 g/cm3, the uniaxial compressive strength increases in a power-law manner with density. The uniaxial compressive behavior of the Arctic summer sea ice is sensitive to the loading rate, and the peak uniaxial compressive strength is reached in the brittle-ductile transition range. In this paper, the concept of effective permittivity is introduced to study the Lamb wave's potential application in liquid sensing. Considering the measuring of ideal nonviscous liquid, the sensors array is designed to sense the density and the dielectric constant of the liquid layer simultaneously. Using LiNbO3 as piezoelectric material, in order to improve the sensors array sensitivity and the electro-mechanical coupling coefficient, the optimized results including plate thicknesses and cut orientations are presented by numerical simulation. | 10 | DENTING AND FAILURE OF LIQUID-FILLED TUBES UNDER LATERAL IMPACT显示文摘In this paper, numerical simulation of impact cases of liquid-filled tube impacted by missiles is conducted with a commercial finite element code LS-DYNA, and the results obtained are compared with the experimental data to verify the validity of the numerical simulation model adopted. With the verified numerical method, the processes of dynamic response of a blunt indenter impacting an empty or liquid-filled three-span continuous tubular beam are studied when the parameter such as the indenter’s mass, liquid’s density or impact velocity is varied and the other conditions are kept the same. The simulation results indicate that the critical perforation energy and the deformation of the wall of the pipe are significantly influenced by the presence of the liquid and the pressure. The liquid filling the tube provides a ‘foundation’ pressure to resist and localize the deformation, which may affect the perforation process and lead to a reduction of the ballistic limit. The simulation results also indicate that the increase of the fluid density filled in the tube will decrease the ballistic limit, but the fluid density must be in some scope. | 13 | Introduction of parameterized sea ice drag coefficients into ice free-drift modeling显示文摘Many interesting characteristics of sea ice drift depend on the atmospheric drag coefficient(C_a) and oceanic drag coefficient(C_w).Parameterizations of drag coefficients rather than constant values provide us a way to look insight into the dependence of these characteristics on sea ice conditions.In the present study,the parameterized ice drag coefficients are included into a free-drift sea ice dynamic model,and the wind factor α and the deflection angle θ between sea ice drift and wind velocity as well as the ratio of C_a to C_w are studied to investigate their dependence on the impact factors such as local drag coefficients,floe and ridge geometry.The results reveal that in an idealized steady ocean,C_a/C_w increases obviously with the increasing ice concentration for small ice floes in the marginal ice zone,while it remains at a steady level(0.2-0.25) for large floes in the central ice zone.The wind factor α increases rapidly at first and approaches a steady level of 0.018 when A is greater than 20%.And the deflection angle θ drops rapidly from an initial value of approximate 80° and decreases slowly as A is greater than20%without a steady level like α.The values of these parameters agree well with the previously reported observations in Arctic.The ridging intensity is an important parameter to determine the dominant contribution of the ratio of skin friction drag coefficient(C_s' /C_s) and the ratio of ridge form drag coefficient(C_r'/C_r) to the value of C_a/C_w,α,and θ,because of the dominance of ridge form drag for large ridging intensity and skin friction for small ridging intensity among the total drag forces.Parameterization of sea ice drag coefficients has the potential to be embedded into ice dynamic models to better account for the variability of sea ice in the transient Arctic Ocean. | LU Peng LI Zhijun HAN Hongwei | 2016 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2016,35,1: | 2 |

| 15 | Tailoring nanoprecipitates for ultra-strong high-entropy alloys via machine learning and prestrain aging显示文摘The multi-principal-component concept of high-entropy alloys(HEAs) generates numerous new alloys.Among them,nanoscale precipitated HEAs have achieved superior mechanical properties and shown the potentials for structural applications.However,it is still a great challe nge to find the optimal alloy within the numerous candidates.Up to now,the reported nanoprecipitated HEAs are mainly designed by a trialand-error approach with the aid of phase diagram calculations,limiting the development of structural HEAs.In the current work,a novel method is proposed to accelerate the development of ultra-strong nanoprecipitated HEAs.With the guidance of physical metallurgy,the volume fraction of the required nanoprecipitates is designed from a machine learning of big data with thermodynamic foundation while the morphology of precipitates is kinetically tailored by prestrain aging.As a proof-of-principle study,an HEA with superior strength and ductility has been designed and systematically investigated.The newly developed γ’-strengthened HEA exhibits 1.31 GPa yield strength,1.65 GPa ultimate tensile strength,and 15% tensile elongation.Atom probe tomography and transmission electron microscope characterizations reveal the well-controlled high γ’ volume fraction(52%) and refined precipitate size(19 nm).The refinement of nanoprecipitates originates from the accelerated nucleation of the γ’ phase by prestrain aging.A deeper understanding of the excellent mechanical properties is illustrated from the aspect of strengthening mecha nisms.Finally,the versatility of the current design strategy to other precipitation-hardened alloys is discussed. | Tao Zheng Xiaobing Hu Feng He Qjngfeng Wu Bin Han Chen Da Junjie Li Zhijun Wang Jincheng Wang Ji-jung Kai Zhenhai Xia C.T.Liu | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,10: | 2 |

| 17 | Biodegradable, Super-Strong, and Conductive Cellulose Macrofibers for Fabric-Based Triboelectric Nanogenerator显示文摘Electronic fibers used to fabricate wearable triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG) for harvesting human mechanical energy have been extensively explored. However, little attention is paid to their mutual advantages of environmental friendliness, mechanical properties, and stability. Here, we report a super-strong, biodegradable, and washable cellulose-based conductive macrofibers, which is prepared by wet-stretching and wet-twisting bacterial cellulose hydrogel incorporated with carbon nanotubes and polypyrrole. The cellulose-based conductive macrofibers possess high tensile strength of 449 MPa(able to lift 2 kg weights), good electrical conductivity(~ 5.32 S cm^(-1)), and excellent stability(Tensile strength and conductivity only decrease by 6.7% and 8.1% after immersing in water for 1 day). The degradation experiment demonstrates macrofibers can be degraded within 108 h in the cellulase solution. The designed fabric-based TENG from the cellulose-base conductive macrofibers shows a maximum open-circuit voltage of 170 V, short-circuit current of 0.8 μA, and output power at 352 μW, which is capable of powering the commercial electronics by charging the capacitors. More importantly, the fabric-based TENGs can be attached to the human body and work as self-powered sensors to effectively monitor human motions. | 18 | Effects of the Ratio of n-6∶n-3 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids in the Maternal Diet on Immunoglobulins,Fatty Acid Composition,and Performance of Lactating Sows and Suckling Piglets under Conditions of Low Maternal Energy Intake显示文摘This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of different ratios of n-6 ∶ n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) in sow diets on the performance of lactating sows and their piglets at low digestible energy intakes. Twenty-one pregnant Landrace sows were assigned to one of three diets from day 108 of gestation until weaning (26 to 29 d) ,containing n-6∶n-3 PUFA ratios of 3 ∶1,8 ∶1 and 11 ∶1. The effects on sow and litter production traits and on sow body condition were examined. There were no differences among treatments in daily feed intakes or in changes in sow weight and back-fat levels during lactation. Litter size,litter weight at birth and weaning and litter average daily weight gain were also unaffected by treatment. As expected, large differences were observed in n-6 and n-3 fatty acids in the colostrum and plasma of sows and piglets (P < 0. 01) . The ratio of n6 ∶ n-3 PUFA the diet was positively correlated with those in colostrum,sow plasma and piglet plasma (R 2= 0. 55,0. 80 and 0. 80,respectively) . Sow plasma insulin and IGF-I levels at weaning were unaffected by the treatments. Plasma leptin (P < 0. 05) concentrations were increased in sows fed the diet with a n-6∶n-3 ratio of 8 ∶ 1. Immunoglobulin concentrations in colostrum were not altered by dietary treatment. Plasma IgG concentrations at d 14 were highest in piglets from sows fed the 8 ∶ 1 ratio of n-6∶n-3. Furthermore,this group had the highest IgA concentrations at day 21 of lactation compared with the other two groups (P < 0. 05) . In summary,our study demonstrated that at low digestible energy levels,altering the ratio of n-6 ∶ n-3 PUFA in the diets for lactating sows affected immune components and the fatty acid composition of lactating sows and their piglets.
