1RAPD analysis of wild stock of penaeid shrimp (Penaeus chinensis )in Chinese coastal waters of the Huanghai Sea and coastal waters of the Bohai Sea显示文摘Genetic diversity of 32 individuals of P. chinensis in the Chinese coastal waters of the Huanghai and Bobal Seas was detected by RAPD technique. Twenty decamer primers of OPI were used for DNA amplification for each individual. The results showed that: Seventeen primers obtained reproducible fingerprints, and the bands were clear. Thirty--nine of 106 loci detected were polymorphic, amounting to 36. 8 %. 2Application of the gel casting process in iron powder metallurgy显示文摘The effects of various gel casting process parameters such as the dispersant and solid loading on the rheology of Fe slurries, molding, and sintering behaviors were studied. The relationship between solid loading and viscidity in the process of iron base powder metallurgy was researched to obtain better microstructure and properties. The results showed that the viscosity of Fe slurries is obviously reduced with the increase of the dispersant. The suitable parameters are as follows: the solid loading is 61% and sintering temperature is 1180℃. Unfortunately, Mangipudi pointed out Aydos’ scheme was incurred the man-in-middle attack denial-of-service attack and impersonation based on man-in-middle attack. Then he proposed an improved scheme to overcome the above weakness. 5Evaluation of reference genes for quantitative real-time PCR analysis of gene expression during early development processes of the tongue sole(Cynoglossus semilaevis)显示文摘Differential expression of genes is crucial to growth and development of fish.To select the appropriate genes for gene normalization during Cynoglossus semilaevis early developmental process,eight candidate reference genes(ACTB,B2 M,EF1 A,GADPH,RPL7,TUBA,UBCE and 18S) were tested for their adequacy by using quantitative real-time PCR.The results showed that the expression of all the examined genes exhibited tissue dependent variations in the mature C.semilaevis.EF1 A was listed as the most stable reference among the 14 tissues by Ref Finder.Furthermore,the recommended comprehensive ranking of the stability determined by Ref Finder showed that 18 S was the most stable gene during the early developmental stages(from oosphere to 90 days old) in this study.However,when divided the Ct value data of the above mentioned early developmental stages into two separate periods(embryo and post-hatching periods),TUBA and 18 S represented the most stable references of these two developmental periods,respectively.Consequently,the reference gene should be carefully and accurately chosen even for studies of the same species at various developmental processes.The relevant data may help in selecting appropriate reference genes for m RNA expression analysis,and is of great value in the studies of fish growth and development.MA Qian ZHUANG Zhimeng FENG Wenrong LIU Shufang TANG Qisheng 2015Acta Oceanologica Sinica2015,34,10:3
6Effects of osmotic stress on the expression profiling of aquaporin genes in the roughskin sculpin(Trachidermus fasciatus)显示文摘Aquaporins(AQPs)are a family of integral membrane proteins that have been shown to be important for osmoregulation in many vertebrates.To identify potential stress resistance-related aqp genes in salinity adaptation of the roughskin sculpin Trachidermus fasciatus,we investigated the time-course expression dynamics of seven aquaporin genes(aqp1,4,7,8,10,11 and 12)in three osmoregulatory tissues(kidney,gill and intestine)and one metabolic tissue(liver).The fish were subjected to two different acute osmotic treatments(seawater-tofreshwater transfer respectively achieved in 1 h and 24 h,namely,E-acute and acute group).The expression profiling of the seven aqp genes were performed using quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR).At the time of all sampling time points(0 h,12 h,24 h and 48 h),no expression of aqp4 was found in the gill,liver and intestine;no expression of aqp7 was found in the gill and liver.Significant differences of aqp expression were determined in the four target tissues,and the mRNA levels were largely variable among gene members and tissues.Similar patterns of the time-course expression were detected in most of the aqp genes in T.fasciatus between the two acute groups,except that only one gene(aqp12)in the kidney and three genes(aqp7,aqp8 and aqp10)in the intestine revealed different expression patterns.These results suggest that the expression response of aqp genes was similar under osmotic changes with different rates.Qian Ma Xinfu Liu Ang Li Shufang Liu Zhimeng Zhuang 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,6:3

8Expression profiles of sex-related genes in gonads of genetic male Takifugu rubripes after 17β-estradiol immersion显示文摘Estradiol treatment during early life stages of tiger puffer Takifugu rubripes induces feminization in genetic males.However,the ovaries in genetic males may revert to testes once estradiol treatment is halted.Therefore studies should investigate molecular mechanisms underlying ovary-to-testis recovery in genetic males after treatment.In the present study,tiger puffer were exposed to 10,and 100μg/L 17β-estradiol(E 2)from 15 to 100 days post-hatching(dph),then gonad phenotypes and expression profi les of six sex-related genes(cyp19a,foxl2,dmrt1,amh,sox9a,and sox9b)were characterized after the exposure.Results showed that both 10 and 100μg/L E2 induced ovarian development in genetic males at 100 dph.However,all ovaries induced by 10μg/L E2 first developed into intersexual gonads and subsequently reverted to testes after the exposure.As for treatment of 100μg/L E2,while the rest of the ovaries maintained morphological stability,percentages of intersexual gonads reached 38%-57%,and none were reverted to testes.Increased mRNA levels of cyp19a,foxl2 and sox9b and decreased mRNA levels of dmrt1,amh,and sox9a were observed during the ovarian development in genetic males.While contrary gene expression profiles were detected during ovary-to-testis transformation.The mRNA levels of all the six genes were increased during the development of intersexual gonads.These results indicated that up-regulation of dmrt1,amh and sox9a is associated with initial ovary-to-intersexual transformation,and suppression of foxl2,cyp19a and sox9b is essential for complete ovary-to-testis recovery in genetic males.This research will help to trace the molecular processes underlying gonadal transformation in teleosts.HU Peng LIU Bin MA Qian LIU Shufang LIU Xinfu ZHUANG Zhimeng 2019Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,3:2

10Revealing the working mechanism of a multi-functional block copolymer binder for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘The lithium-sulfur(Li-S)battery is one of the most promising substitutes for current energy storage systems because of its low cost,high theoretical capacity,and high energy density.However,the high solubility of intermediate products(i.e.,lithium polysulfides)and the resultant shuttle effect lead to rapidly fading capacity and a low coulombic efficiency,which hinder the practical application of Li-S batteries.In this study,block copolymers are constructed with both an ethylene oxide unit and a styrene unit and then used as binders for Li-S batteries.Electrochemical performance improvements are attributed to the synergistic effects contributed by the different units of the block copolymer.The ethylene oxide unit traps polysulfide,which bonds strongly with the intermediate lithium polysulfide,and enhances the transport of lithium ions to reach high capacity.Meanwhile,the styrene unit maintains cathode integrity by improving the mechanical properties and elasticity of the constructed block copolymer to accommodate the large volume changes.By enabling multiple functions via different units in the polymer chain,high sulfur utilization is achieved,polysulfide diffusion is confined,and the shuttle effect is suppressed during the cycle life of Li-S batteries,as revealed by operando ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy and S Kedge X-ray absorption spectroscopy.Xin He Zhimeng Liu Guoping Gao Xiaotao Liu Michal Swietoslawski Jun Feng Gao Liu Lin-Wang Wang Robert Kostecki 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,8:1

13Cloning, expression profiling and promoter functional analysis of bone morphogenetic protein 2 in the tongue sole(Cynoglossus semilaevis)显示文摘BMP2 plays crucial roles in vertebrate developmental process and acts as a bone inducer during osteogenesis. We present here the molecular cloning of bmp2 cDNA from the marine flatfish Cynoglossus semilaevis, and the analysis of bmp2 expression profiling and promoter function. The full length of bmp2 cDNA sequence is 2 048 bp,which encodes a protein of 422 amino acids. Tissue expression distribution of bmp2 was examined in 14 tissues of mature individuals by quantitative real time PCR(qRT-PCR). The results revealed that bmp2 was expressed ubiquitously, and the highest expression level was detected in the spinal cord. Moreover, bmp2 expression levels were detected at 15 sampling time points of early developmental stages(egg, larva, juvenile and fingerling stages).The highest expression level of bmp2 was observed at the gastrula stage, which was about ten times higher than those at the other three embryo stages. Whole-mount in situ hybridization showed that the bmp2 signal was strongly detected at the location of the crown-like larval fin, heart and liver, and slightly expressed in the notochord at one day post hatch(dph); then the expression of bmp2 started to be concentrated in notochord at three dph. Subsequently, we characterized the 5′-flanking region of bmp2 by testing the promoter activity by Luciferase reporter assays. Positive regulatory region was detected at the location of –179 to +109. 14Magnetically accelerated thermal energy storage within Fe_(3)O_(4)-anchored MXene-based phase change materials显示文摘Inherent weak photon-capturing ability is a long-standing bottleneck for pristine phase change materials(PCMs)in photothermal conversion application.To conquer this difficulty,herein,magnetic Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles were in situ anchored between the layers and the surface of two-dimensional MXene for the infiltration of myristic acid(MA)by an in situ chemical anchoring strategy.Benefiting from the synergistic localized surface plasmon resonance effect of MXene and Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles,our designed MXene@Fe_(3)O_(4)-MA composite PCMs harvested an ultrahigh photothermal conversion efficiency of 97.7%.During the photothermal conversion process,MXene can capture photons and convert solar energy into heat energy efficiently,and the in situ anchored Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles further enhanced the photothermal conversion efficiency.Moreover,the introduction of Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles improved the thermal energy storage density(144.17 J/g)of MXene-MA composite PCMs since Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles provided more heterogeneous nucleation sites for MA.Simultaneously,MXene@Fe_(3)O_(4)-MA composite PCMs were endowed with excellent paramagnetism,and realized efficient magnetic-thermal conversion.Additionally,MXene@Fe_(3)O_(4)-MA composite PCMs exhibited excellent energy conversion stability,thermal stability,and reliability after undergoing multiple thermal cycles.Therefore,high-performance MXene@Fe_(3)O_(4)-based energy conversion composite PCMs are promising candidates to accelerate efficient utilization of the practical solar energy and magnetic energy.Yan Gao Zhaodi Tang Xiao Chen Jiamin Yan Yu Jiang Jianhang Xu Zhang Tao Lei Wang Zhimeng Liu Ge Wang 2023Aggregate2023,4,1:0
