| 1 | Optimization of flue gas convective heat transfer with condensation in a rectangular channel显示文摘Conservation equations of sensible entarnsy and latent entransy are established for flue gas convective heat transfer with condensation in a rectangular channel and the entransy dissipation expression is deduced.The field synergy equation is obtained on the basis of the extremum entransy dissipation principle for flue gas convective heat transfer with condensation.The optimal velocity field is numerically obtained by solving the field synergy equation.The results show that the optimal velocity field has multiple longitudinal vortices,which improve the synergy not only between the veloctiy and temperature fields but also between the velocity and vapor concentration fields.Therefore,the convective heat and mass transfers are significantly enhanced.Flow with multiple longitudinal vortices close to the optimal velocity field can be generated by discrete double-inclined ribs set in the rectangular channel.The numerical results show that the total heat transfer rate in the discrete double-inclined rib channel increases by 29.02% and the condensing heat transfer rate increases by 27.46% for Re = 600 compared with the plain channel. | SONG WeiMing MENG JiAn LI ZhiXin | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,3: | 14 |

| 3 | Synthetic Process of Bio-Based Phenol Formaldehyde Adhesive Derived from Demethylated Wheat Straw Alkali Lignin and Its Curing Behavior显示文摘Lignin is a natural biopolymer with a complex three-dimensional network, commercially obtained from wasteliquid of paper pulp and bioethanol production, and could be a candidate for preparation of environment-friendlybio-based polyphenol material. In the present work, the demethylated wheat straw alkali lignin (D-Lig), preparedby demethylation of wheat straw alkali lignin (Lig) using an in-situ generated Lewis acid, was used to synthesizebio-based phenol formaldehyde resin adhesive (D-LPF) applied in plywood. Effects of synthetic process’s factors,including lignin substitution for phenol, NaOH concentration and molar ratio of formaldehyde to phenol, on thebonding strength and free formaldehyde content of D-LPF were investigated in detail, and the optimum syntheticprocess of D-LPF was obtained as following: Lignin substitution for phenol 60%, NaOH concentration 5.0% andmolar ratio of formaldehyde to phenol 2.0, and under the optimum reaction condition, the D-LPF presented lower free formaldehyde content (0.18%) and higher bonding strength (2.19 MPa), which was better than those ofcontaining-lignin phenol formaldehyde resin adhesive (LPF). Additionally, the curing behavior of the adhesivewas studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) combined with gel time. It can be obtained that D-LPFresin adhesive had the shortest gel time, and fastest curing rate, compared with those of PF and L-PF resin adhesives. The curing kinetics data was fitted well by Kissinger model using non-isothermal DSC method, and theaverage activation energy value was 85.3 kJ/mol, slightly higher than that of commercial PF resin, while lowerthan that of LPF (90.2 kJ/mol). | 4 | Survey of spinal cord injury-induced neurogenic bladder studies using the Web of Science显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To identify global trends in research on spinal cord injury-induced neurogenic bladder, through a bibliometric analysis using the Web of Science. DATA RETRIEVAL:We performed a bibliometric analysis of studies on spinal cord injury-induced neurogenic bladder using the Web of Science.Data retrieval was performed using key words'spinal cord injury','spinal injury','neurogenic bladder','neuropathic bladder','neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction','neurogenic voiding dysfunction','neurogenic urination disorder'and 'neurogenic vesicourethral dysfunction'. SELECTION CRITERIA:Inclusion criteria:(a)published peer-reviewed articles on spinal cord injury-induced neurogenic bladder indexed in the Web of Science;(b)type of articles:original research articles and reviews;(c)year of publication:no limitation.Exclusion criteria:(a)articles that required manual searching or telephone access;(b)Corrected papers and book chapters. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:(1)Annual publication output;(2)distribution according to journals; (3)distribution according to subject areas;(4)distribution according to country;(5)distribution according to institution;and(6)top cited publications. RESULTS:There were 646 research articles addressing spinal cord injury-induced neurogenic bladder in the Web of Science.Research on spinal cord injury-induced neurogenic bladder was found in the Science Citation Index-Expanded as of 1946.The United States,Ireland and Switzerland were the three major countries contributing to studies in spinal cord injury-induced neurogenic bladder in the 1970s.However,in the 1990s,the United States,the United Kingdom,the Netherlands,Germany and Japan published more papers on spinal cord injury-induced neurogenic bladder than Switzerland,and Ireland fell off the top ten countries list.In this century,the United States ranks first in spinal cord injury-induced neurogenic bladder studies,followed by France,the United Kingdom,Germany,Switzerland and Japan.Subject categories including urology, nephrology and clinical neurology,as well as rehabilitation,are represented in spinal cord injury-induced neurogenic bladder studies. | 7 | MEB-YOLO: An Efficient Vehicle Detection Method in Complex Traffic Road Scenes显示文摘Rapid and precise vehicle recognition and classification are essential for intelligent transportation systems,and road target detection is one of the most difficult tasks in the field of computer vision.The challenge in real-time road target detection is the ability to properly pinpoint relatively small vehicles in complicated environments.However,because road targets are prone to complicated backgrounds and sparse features,it is challenging to detect and identify vehicle kinds fast and reliably.We suggest a new vehicle detection model called MEB-YOLO,which combines Mosaic and MixUp data augmentation,Efficient Channel Attention(ECA)attention mechanism,Bidirectional Feature Pyramid Network(BiFPN)with You Only Look Once(YOLO)model,to overcome this problem.Four sections make up this model:Input,Backbone,Neck,and Prediction.First,to improve the detection dataset and strengthen the network,MixUp and Mosaic data improvement are used during the picture processing step.Second,an attention mechanism is introduced to the backbone network,which is Cross Stage Par-tial Darknet(CSPDarknet),to reduce the influence of irrelevant features in images.Third,to achieve more sophisticated feature fusion without increasing computing cost,the BiFPN structure is utilized to build the Neck network of the model.The final prediction results are then obtained using Decoupled Head.Experiments demonstrate that the proposed model outperforms several already available detection methods and delivers good detection results on the University at Albany DEtection and TRACking(UA-DETRAC)public dataset.It also enables effective vehicle detection on real traffic monitoring data.As a result,this technique is efficient for detecting road targets. | Yingkun Song Shunhe Hong Chentao Hu Pingan He Lingbing Tao Zhixin Tie Chengfu Ding | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,6: | 2 |

| 9 | Spatial and temporal distribution of Mo in the overlying water of a reservoir downstream from mining area显示文摘This study aimed to evaluate the spatial and temporal variations of molybdenum(Mo)in the downstream water body of a Mo mine during three hydrologic periods(wet,dry and medium seasons).The physical properties in Luhun Reservoir reflected seasonal variations in different hydrological periods.The redox potential(ORP)and dissolved oxygen(DO)increased in the dry season.The concomitant decrease in temperature(T),conductivity(COND)and total dissolved solids(TDS)were lowest in the wet season.The p H value did not change significantly during the three hydrologic periods.The distribution of Mo in the dry season was high in upstream and low in downstream areas,which was significantly different from that of the wet and medium seasons.The total Mo concentration in wet(150.1μg/L)and medium season(148.2μg/L)was higher than that in the dry season,but the TDS(288.3 mg/L)and the percentage dissolved Mo(81.3%)in overlying water was lowest in the wet season.There was no significant relationship between the dissolved Mo and the total Mo with TDS.In the dry season,the mean total Mo concentration was 116.3μg/L,which was higher than the standard limit value(70μg/L)for drinking water(US EPA-United States Environmental Protection Agency recommended value 40μg/L).Non-point source pollution is the main characteristic of mining area pollution,which was closely related to rainfall.Thus,the Luhun Reservoir contains substantial Mo pollution,which was a significant concern given that it is used as a source of drinking and irrigation water. | Zhixin Song Gangfu Song Wenzhong Tang Yu Zhao Dandan Yan Weilong Zhang | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4: | 1 |

| 11 | Determining cadmium bioavailability in sediment profiles using diffusive gradients in thin films显示文摘Cadmium(Cd)uptake by plants or benthic organisms largely depends on its bioavailability in sediments,so it is necessary to understand Cd bio availability for determining its ecological risks in riverine sediments.Pore water is easily disturbed during sample collection,indicating that there was a shortage of traditional methods for investigating Cd bio availability.Here,sediment cores were collected from rivers,after which sequential extraction and diffusive gradients in thin films(DGT)method were employed to determine Cd potential bio availability in the sediments and pore water.We found that Cd concentrations measured by DGT were lower than that in pore water profiles,and Cd distribution in various fractions changed remarkably.Pearson correlation analysis showed significant positive correlations between Cd concentrations measured by DGT and total Cd concentrations(r^2=0.76),exchangeable and weak acid soluble fraction(r^2=0.68),ferromanganese fraction(r^2=0.72)and bound organic matter or oxidizable fraction(r^2=0.54).However,the correlation was relatively low between Cd concentrations measured by DGT and that in pore water profiles(r^2=0.26).These results demonstrated that DGT method could provide more accurate information of Cd bio availability in sediment profiles than traditional methods. | Zhixin Song Gangfu Song Wenzhong Tang Dandan Yan Minghai Han Baoqing Shan | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,5: | 1 |
| 12 | Comparison of the Petroleum Geology in the Deep-Water Basins between the Passive Margin of Morocco and Its Conjugate Margin of Canada显示文摘This paper systematically investigates and compares the petroleum geology elements and oil and gas exploration potential in the deep-water basins along the conjugate passive margins between Morocco in NW Africa and Nova Scotia in Canada. Both the deep-water basins along the passive margin in Morocco and its conjugate passive margin deep-water basin in Nova Scotia have undergone similar multiple stages of tectonic evolution. These conjugate basins both have Jurassic and Cretaceous source rocks;Triassic sandstone, Jurassic–Cretaceous carbonate and sandstone, and Miocene–Pliocene sandstone reservoirs;multiple sets of mudstones and regional Triassic salt as caprocks. These characteristics indicate good hydrocarbon accumulation conditions and exploration prospects. The comparison also reveals that the key exploration targets in the deep-water basins of Morocco should be Tertiary turbidite sandstone reservoirs and Jurassic–Cretaceous sandstone and carbonate reservoirs. Compared with the Scotian Basin, the Morocco deep-water basins may have Paleozoic play potential sourced from the mature Silurian hot shale source rock that extends from the onshore NW African Plate. | 14 | Effects of daily nitrogen and phosphorus input on planktonic community metabolism in a semi-enclosed bay by mesocosm experiment显示文摘Planktonic metabolism plays an important role in affecting the energy transportation and carbon cycle of the marine ecosystem.However,its regulation mechanism remains unclear under the continuously exogenous nutrient inputs in nearshore waters.In this study,a mesocosm experiment was conducted in a semi-enclosed bay,the Daya Bay,to explore the responses of plankton metabolic balance and community structure to a concentration gradient of daily nitrogen and phosphorus inputs.The results showed that nutrient enrichments promoted phytoplankton biomass,total primary production,and community respiration,and the promoting effect enhanced alongwith the increase of nutrient concentration.However,the net community production fluctuated more violently between autotrophic and heterotrophic with the increase of nutrient inputs and tended to be more heterotrophic from the 5 th day to the 10 th day of the experiment.In addition,the daily flux of nitrogen and phosphorus,2μmol/(L·d)and 0.066μmol/(L·d),respectively,could be regarded as a potential threshold for ecosystem stability and health,since most of the ecological characteristics related to plankton structure and function have undergone significant changes when the nutrient level is higher than that.In the nearshore enclosed or semi-enclosed waters,nutrient from continuous terrigenous input is likely to be concentrated and exceed this level,indicating the ecological risks due to the metabolic unbalance and the deterioration of plankton community structure. | Chenhui Xiang Yao Li Zhixin Ke Gang Li Yadong Huang Xinying Su Liangmin Huang Xinyu Song | 2022 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2022,41,8: | 1 |

| 17 | Ecological and evolutionary constraints on regional avifauna of passerines in China显示文摘Strong correlations between species diversity and climate have been widely observed,but the mechanism underlying this relationship is unclear.Here,we explored the causes of the richness-climate relationships among passerine birds in China by integrating tropical conservatism and diversification rate hypotheses using path models.We found that assemblages with higher species richness southwest of the Salween-Mekong-Pearl River Divide are phylogenetically overdispersed and have shorter mean root distances(MRDs),while species-rich regions northeast of this divide(e.g.,north Hengduan Mountains-south Qinling Mountains)are phylogenetically clustered and have longer MRDs.The results of the path analyses showed that the direct effect of climatic factors on species richness was stronger than their indirect effects on species richness via phylogenetic relatedness,indicating that neither tropical conservatism nor diversification rate hypotheses can well explain the richness-climate relationship among passerines in China.However,when path analyses were conducted within subregions separately,we found that the tropical conservatism hypothesis was well supported in the southwestern Salween-Mekong-Pearl River Divide,while the diversification rate hypothesis could explain the richness-climate relationship well in the northeastern divide.We conclude that the diversity patterns of passerines in different subregions of the Eastern Himalayas-Mountains of Southwest China may be shaped by different evolutionary processes related to geological and climatic histories,which explains why the tropical conservatism or diversification rate hypothesis alone cannot fully explain the richness-climate relationships. | Tianlong Cai Qing Quan Gang Song Yongjie Wu Zhixin Wen Chunlan Zhang Yanhua Qu Gexia Qiao Fumin Lei | 2021 | Current Zoology2021,67,4: | 0 |
| 18 | Enhanced efficiency and stability in Sn-based perovskite solar cells with secondary crystallization growth显示文摘The conversion efficiencies reported for Tin(Sn)halide-based perovskite solar cells(PSCs)fall a large gap behind those of lead halide-based PSCs,mainly because of poor film quality of the former.Here we report an efficient strategy based on a simple secondary crystallization growth(SCG)technique to improve film quality for tin halide-based PSCs by applying a series of functional amine chlorides on the perovskite surface.They were discovered to enhance the film crystallinity and suppress the oxidation of Sn^(2+)remarkably,hence reduce trap state density and non-irradiative recombination in the absorber films.Furthermore,the SCG film holds the band levels matching better with carrier transport layers and herein favoring charge extraction at the device interfaces.Consequently,a champion device efficiency of 8.07% was achieved alo ng with significant enhancements in VOC and JSC,in contrast to 5.35% of the control device value.Moreover,the SCG film-based devices also exhibit superior stability comparing with the control one.This work explicitly paves a novel and general strategy for developing high performance lead-free PSCs. | Zhixin Jin Bin-Bin Yu Min Liao Di Liu Jingwei Xiu Zheng Zhang Efrat Lifshitz Jiang Tang Haisheng Song Zhubing He | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3: | 0 |

Method By HE staining,pathological tissues of main organs of C. semilaevis Günther with abdominal dropsy were observed. Result According to the results of histopathological observation,C. semilaevis Günther with abdominal dropsy exhibited a large amount of ascites in the abdominal cavity;small intestinal mucosal epithelial cells were denatured and necrotic,and shed into the enteric cavity,with submucosal vascular congestion; the liver and pancreas tissues were denatured and necrotic,and the morphology of most liver cells disappeared. However,there was no remarkable pathological change in the heart,spleen and other organs. | 20 | Analogous comparison unravels heightened antiviral defense and boosted viral infection upon immunosuppression in bat organoids显示文摘Horseshoe bats host numerous SARS-related coronaviruses without overt disease signs.Bat intestinal organoids,a unique model of bat intestinal epithelium,allow direct comparison with human intestinal organoids.We sought to unravel the cellular mechanism(s)underlying bat tolerance of coronaviruses by comparing the innate immunity in bat and human organoids.We optimized the culture medium,which enabled a consecutive passage of bat intestinal organoids for over one year.Basal expression levels of IFNs and IFN-stimulated genes were higher in bat organoids than in their human counterparts.Notably,bat organoids mounted a more rapid,robust and prolonged antiviral defense than human organoids upon Poly(I:C)stimulation.TLR3 and RLR might be the conserved pathways mediating antiviral response in bat and human intestinal organoids.The susceptibility of bat organoids to a bat coronavirus CoV-HKU4,but resistance to EV-71,an enterovirus of exclusive human origin,indicated that bat organoids adequately recapitulated the authentic susceptibility of bats to certain viruses.Importantly,TLR3/RLR inhibition in bat organoids significantly boosted viral growth in the early phase after SARS-CoV-2 or CoV-HKU4 infection.Collectively,the higher basal expression of antiviral genes,especially more rapid and robust induction of innate immune response,empowered bat cells to curtail virus propagation in the early phase of infection. | Xiaojuan Liu Cun Li Zhixin Wan Man Chun Chiu Jingjing Huang Yifei Yu Lin Zhu Jian-Piao Cai Lei Rong You-qiang Song Hin Chu Zongwei Cai Shibo Jiang Kwok-yung Yuen Jie Zhou | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,1: | 0 |
