1Review on photocatalytic and electrocatalytic artificial nitrogen fixation for ammonia synthesis at mild conditions: Advances,challenges and perspectives显示文摘The ammonia synthesis from nitrogen and water under ambient conditions is one of the most inviting but challenging reaction routes.Although nitrogen is abundant in the atmosphere and the ammonia synthesis reaction is exothermic on the thermodynamics,the conversion of N2 to ammonia is actually hard to proceed owing to the chemical inertness and stability of N2 molecules.In industry,ammonia synthesis is carried out by the Haber-Bosch process under harsh conditions (300-500 ℃,20-30 MPa) associated with the requirement of substantial energy input and the enormous emission of greenhouse gases (e.g.,CO2).Recently,a growing number of studies on photo(electro)catalytic and electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) in aqueous solution have attracted extensive attention,which holds great promise for nitrogen fixation under room temperature and atmospheric pressure.However,the very low efficiency and ambiguous mechanism still remain as the major hurdles for the development of photochemical and electrochemical NRR systems.Here we provide an overview of the latest progresses,remaining challenges and future prospects in photocatalytic and electrocatalytic nitrogen fixation.Moreover,this review offers a helpful guidance for the reasonable design of photocatalysts and electrocatalysts towards NRR by combining theory predictions and experiment results.We hope this review can stimulate more research interests in the relatively understudied but highly promising research field of NRR.Xiaolan Xue Renpeng Chen Changzeng Yan Peiyang Zhao Yi Hu Wenjun Zhang Songyuan Yang Zhong Jin 2019Nano Research2019,12,6:20

3U-Pb Geochronology, Elemental and Sr-Nd Isotopic Geochemistry of the Houyaoyu Granite Porphyries: Implication for the Genesis of Early Cretaceous Felsic Intrusions in East Qinling显示文摘The Early Cretaceous Houyaoyu granite porphyries are located in the south margin of the North China Craton. Field observations, petrography, geochronology, major and trace elemental and Sr-Nd isotopic compositions are reported to elucidate the genesis of the Houyaoyu granite porphyries. SIMS zircon U-Pb analyses for the Houyaoyu granite porphyries yield two concordant ages of 133.2± 2.3(2σ) and 131± 1.1(2σ) Ma, respectively. Major and trace elemental compositions indicate that these porphyries are high-K I-type granites with high contents of Si O2, K2 O, Rb, U, Pb, low Nb, Ta, Ti, and P. Initial 87 Sr/86 Sr ratios range from 0.708 3 to 0.709 7, and εNd(t) values range from-9.13 to-12.3, with corresponding two-stage depleted-mantle Nd model ages(T2 DM) varying from 1.57 to 1.91 Ga. This suggests that the Houyaoyu granite porphyries were predominantly derived from ancient lower continental crust, with minor involvement of mantle-derived components. 6Platinum-group element geochemistry of mafic rocks from the Dongchuan area,southwestern China显示文摘Mafic intrusions and dykes are well preserved in the Yinmin and Lanniping districts,located within the western margin of the Yangtze Block,SW China.Although these mafic rocks from the two areas formed during different periods,they share similar ranges of PGE concentration.Most of the Yinmin gabbroic dykes contain relatively high PGE concentrations(PGEs = 13.9-87.0 ppb) and low S contents(0.003%-0.020%),higher than the maximum PGE concentrations of mafic magmas melting from the mantle.Two exceptional Yinmin samples are characterized by relatively low PGE(PGEs = 0.31-0.37 ppb) and high S(0.114%-0.257%) contents.In contrast,most samples from the Lanniping gabbroic intrusion have low PGE concentrations(PGEs — 0.12-1.02 ppb) and high S contents(0.130%-0.360%),except that the three samples exhibit relatively high PGE(PGEs = 16.3-34.8 ppb) and low S concentrations(0.014%-0.070%).All the Yinmin and Lanniping samples are characterized by the enrichment of PPGE relative to IPGE in the primitive-mantle normalized diagrams,and the high-PGE samples exhibit obvious Ru anomalies.This study suggests that during the ascent of the parental magma,removal of Os-Ir-Ru alloys and/or chromite/spinel leads to high Pd/Ir ratios and Ru anomalies for the Yinmin high-PGE samples and relatively lower Pd/Ir ratios and Ru anomalies for the Lanniping low-PGE samples.We propose that the magmas parental to the Yinmin gabbroic dykes are initially S-unsaturated,and subsequently,minor evolved magma reached sulfur saturation and led to sulfide segregation.Although the Lanniping parental magmas are originally not saturated in S,the high Cu/Pd ratios(3.8 × 10~4 to 3.2 ×10~6) for most of the Lanniping samples indicate the S-saturated state and sulfide segregation.A calculation shows that the PGE-poor magmas might have experienced 0.01%-0.1% sulfide segregation in the magma chamber.Therefore,our study provides a possible opportunity to discover PGE-enriched sulfide mineralization somewhere near or within the Lanniping mafic intrusion.Siqi Yang Hong Zhong Weiguang Zhu Wenjun Hu Zhongjie Bai 2017Acta Geochimica2017,36,1:2
7Three-dimensional spongy framework as superlyophilic, strongly absorbing,and electrocatalytic polysulfide reservoir layer for high-rate and long-cycling lithiumsulfur batteries显示文摘In the development of lithium-sulfur (Li-S)batteries,various approaches have been adopted to enhance the electronic conductivity of the sulfur cathode and alleviate the shuttle effect of polysulfides;however,the strategies providing efficient solutions are still limited.To further improve the electrochemical performance of Li-S batteries,in this work we propose a new strategy involving the incorporation of a three-dimensional functional spongy framework as polysulfide reservoir layer,with strong absorbability and electrocatalytic activity towards sulfur species.The spongy framework has a hierarchical architecture composed of highly conductive Ni foam/graphene/carbon nanotubes/MnO2nanoflakes (NGCM).The strongly interconnected Ni foam,graphene,and carbon nanotubes of the NGCM sponge facilitate electron transfer during discharge/charge processes;moreover,the superlyophilic properties of the NGCM sponge ensure good wettability and interface contact with the Li-S electrolyte,and the porous MnO2nanoflakes provide strong chemisorptive and electrocatalytic effects on polysulfides (as confirmed theoretically and experimentally).The NGCM sponge, serving as a polysulfide reservoir layer attached on a conventional sulfur-mixed carbon nanotubes (S/CNTs)cathode,can provide improved reversible capacity, rate capability (593mAh·g^-1at 3.0C),and cycling stability.In addition,the self-discharge rate is greatly reduced,owing to the efficient conservation of polysulfides in the NGCM spongy framework.Lianbo Ma Guoyin Zhu Wenjun Zhang Peiyang Zhao Yi Hu Yanrong Wang Lei Wang Renpeng Chen Tao Chen Zuoxiu Tie Jie Liu Zhong Jin 2018Nano Research2018,11,12:2
8In-situ grown CuO_(x)nanowire forest on copper foam:A 3D hierarchical and freestanding electrocatalyst with enhanced carbonaceous product selectivity in CO_(2)reduction显示文摘Electrocatalytic carbon dioxide(CO_(2))reduction is considered as an economical and environmentally friendly approach to neutralizing and recycling greenhouse gas CO_(2).However,the design of preeminent and robust electrocatalysts for CO_(2)electroreduction is still challenging.Herein,we report the in-situ growth of dense CuO_(x)nanowire forest on 3D porous Cu foam(CuO_(x)-NWF@Cu-F),which can be directly applied as a freestanding and binder-free working electrode for highly effective electrocatalytic CO_(2)reduction.By adjusting the surface morphology and chemical composition of CuO_(x)nanowires via surface reconstruction,large electrochemically active surface area and abundant Cu(+1)sites were generated,leading to remarkable activity for CO_(2)electroreduction.The as-prepared hierarchical conductive electrode exhibited an enhanced Faradaic efficiency of 15.0%for ethanol formation(FE_(C_(2)H_(5)OH))and a total Faradaic efficiency of 69.4%for all carbonaceous compounds(FE_(C-total))at a mild applied potential of–0.45 V vs.RHE in 0.1 M KHCO_(3)electrolyte.It achieved a 4-fold increase in FE_(C-total)than that of Cu nanowire forest supported on 3D porous Cu foam(Cu-NWF@Cu-F)obtained by in-situ reduction of the CuO_(x)-NWF@Cu-F via annealing at H_(2)atmosphere,and thereby effectively suppressed the hydrogen evolution side-reaction.Wenjun Zhang Minghang Jiang Songyuan Yang Yi Hu Bin Mu Zuoxiu Tie Zhong Jin 2022Nano Research Energy2022,1,3:2
9Enrichment of Platinum-group Elements(PGE) and Re-Os Isotopic Tracing for Porphyry Copper(Gold) Deposits显示文摘Platinum-group elements(PGE) in PGE-rich porphyry copper(gold) deposits are mainly Pt and Pd,whereas the concentrations of other PGE(Ru,Rh,Os,Ir) are significantly low.Moreover,Pt and Pd mainly exist in sulfides in the forms of crystal lattice or tiny platinum-group mineral(PGM) inclusions.The present data show that there is a positive relationship between Pt and Pd concentrations and Cu(Au) in porphyry copper(gold) deposits.The comparison of chondritenormalized PGE distribution patterns between the ore-bearing porphyry intrusions and ore-barren porphyry intrusions in arc setting,187Os/188 Os,87Sr/86 Sr and S isotopes for porphyry copper(gold) deposits shows that PGEs were mainly derived from the mantle,and fluids from subduction zones devoted trivial PGE to the magma.The porphyry copper(gold) deposits associated with subducted events are most probably enriched in PGE,whereas those related to crustal thickening,lithospheric delamination or underplating rarely concentrate PGE.The osmium isotopic compositions in porphyry copper(gold) deposits reveal that(187Os/188Os)i values are highly variable and not lower than those of primitive upper mantle(PUM) and mantle peridotite,however,osmium concentrations are commonly lower than mantle peridotite,suggesting that parental magmas of some porphyry intrusions had experienced crustal contamination during magma evolution.Experimental investigations have proved that PGE exist in the forms of Cl- and HS- complexes during transportation and migration of the oreforming fluids.This paper summarizes previous studies including crucial controlling factors and mechanisms for PGE enrichment,and points out that the mantle-derived magmas parental to porphyry intrusions are the prerequisite for PGE enrichment in porphyry copper(gold) deposits.Favorable physical and chemical conditions(including salinity,temperature,pressure,pH,and oxygen fugacity) in hydrothermal fluids crucially control the PGE enrichment,and sulfur concentrations of melts play important roles in this process as well.HE Xiaohu ZHONG Hong ZHU Weiguang BAI Zhongjie HU Wenjun 2014Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,4:2
10Laboratory investigation into the oil diffusion from submarine pipeline under water flow显示文摘A physical model test has been conducted to study the oil diffusion from the submarine pipeline under water flow.The crude oil in the flume is spilled from a leakage point of the pipeline and diffused from the seabed to the surface. By the non-contact optical measuring technology, an image acquisition and data analysis system is designed to explore the spilled mechanism and characteristic. The oil trajectory, velocity and the rising time to the surface are obtained through this system. The influence of the water flow and the spilled discharge on the behavior of the spilled oil are analyzed from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives. The sensitivity study of the characteristic physical quantities to various factors are presented afterward. The spilled oil under water is mainly distributed in the form of the scattered particles with different sizes. The rising process of the oil can be divided into three stages: full, dispersion and aggregation period. The spilled discharge is the primary factor affecting the rising time of the oil particles. In the rising process of the oil particles, the vertical velocity of the oil is mainly affected by the spilled discharge, and the transverse velocity is more dependent on the water velocity. The deviation of the transverse oil velocity is much larger than that of the rising time and the vertical oil velocity. 13Boron difluoride formazanate dye for high-efficiency NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence imaging-guided cancer photothermal therapy显示文摘The small molecular second near-infrared(NIR-Ⅱ, 1000–1700 nm) dye-based nanotheranostics can concurrently combine deep-tissue photodiagnosis with in situ phototherapy, which occupies a vital position in the early detection and precise treatment of tumors. However, the development of small molecular NIR-Ⅱ dyes is still challenging due to the limited electron acceptors and cumbersome synthetic routes.Herein, we report a novel molecular electron acceptor, boron difluoride formazanate(BDF). Based on BDF, a new small molecular NIR-Ⅱ dye BDF1005 is designed and synthesized with strong NIR-I absorption at 768 nm and bright NIR-Ⅱ peak emission at 1034 nm. In vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrate that BDF1005-based nanotheranostics can be applied for NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence imaging-guided photothermal therapy of 4T1 tumor-bearing mice. Under 808 nm laser irradiation, tumor growth can be effectively inhibited.
