2Edaphic factors determining variation of two ecotypes of Leymus chinensis in North China显示文摘To identify ecotypic variation of L. chinensis, the physiological characteristics and environmental factors were measured and assessed for grey-green and yellow-green ecotypes of L. chinensis grown in the salt-alkalized and aeolian sandy soils. Although both ecotypes presented a similar salt-alkaline tolerance under the experimental conditions, they differed in several aspects. The L. chinensis grown in the aeolian sandy soils had higher water potential and chlorophyll content and lower proline content in their leaves than those grown in the salt-alkalized habitat, and the grey-green ecotype of L. chinensis in both types of soils had higher water potential, chlorophyll and proline contents than the yellow-green ecotype. Besides, grey-green ecotypes had higher salt-alkaline tolerance than the yellow-green ecotype. The stepwise regression analysis showed that soil conductance and pH value were the main ecological factors affecting the physiology of L. chinensis. From the natural distribution of the two ecotypes, we considered that salt-alkaline in the soils is the leading factor in determining ecotypic variation of L. chinensis. 3Non‑Magnetic Bimetallic MOF‑Derived Porous Carbon‑Wrapped TiO2/ ZrTiO4 Composites for Efficient Electromagnetic Wave Absorption显示文摘Modern communication technologies put forward higher requirements for electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption materials.Metal-organic framework(MOF)derivatives have been widely concerned with its diverse advantages.To break the mindset of magneticderivative design,and make up the shortage of monometallic non-magnetic derivatives,we first try non-magnetic bimetallic MOFs derivatives to achieve efficient EMW absorption.The porous carbon-wrapped TiO2/ZrTiO4 composites derived from PCN-415(TiZr-MOFs)are qualified with a minimum reflection loss of−67.8 dB(2.16 mm,13.0 GHz),and a maximum effective absorption bandwidth of 5.9 GHz(2.70 mm).Through in-depth discussions,the synergy of enhanced interfacial polarization and other attenuation mechanisms in the composites is revealed.Therefore,this work confirms the huge potentials of nonmagnetic bimetallic MOFs derivatives in EMW absorption applications.Jing Qiao Xue Zhang Chang Liu Longfei Lyu Yunfei Yang Zhou Wang Lili Wu Wei Liu Fenglong Wang Jiurong Liu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,5:7

6Effects of electroacupuncture on c-Fos expression in the spinal cord and brain of rats with chronic visceral hypersensitivity显示文摘BACKGROUND:Visceral hypersensitivity is the main cause of irritable bowel syndrome.c-Fos is a marker of visceral hypersensitivity in the central nervous system.Electroacupuncture can relieve chronic visceral hypersensitivity in rats,but the mechanism is still unknown. OBJECTIVE:To identify c-Fos expression in the spinal cord and cerebral cortex of rats with chronic visceral hypersensitivity,and to test the effects of electroacupuncture on pain sensitivity in rats with chronic visceral hypersensitivity. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized controlled animal experiment was performed at the Animal Experimental Center,Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,from January to April,2007. MATERIALS:A total of 24 neonatal,male,Sprague Dawley rats,aged five days old,were equally and randomly assigned into a normal group,a model group,and an electroacupuncture group. Rabbit anti-rat c-Fos antibody and Evision secondary antibody kits(Sigma,USA),diaminobenzidine kit(Dako,Denmark),and an LD202H electroacupuncture apparatus(Huawei,Beijing,China) were used in this study. METHODS:Neonatal rats from the model and electroacupuncture groups were used to establish rat models of chronic visceral hypersensitivity by the saccule stimulation method.After model establishment,0.25 mm diameter electric needles were inserted into Tianshu(ST 25) and Shangjuxu(ST37) at a depth of approximately 0.5 cm,with an square wave(alternating current frequency at 100/20 Hz,amplitude ranged 0.2-0.6 ms,intensity at 1 mA) once for 20 minutes,once a day,for seven days.Rats in the normal and model groups were not treated. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Following 7 days of treatment,c-Fos expression in the spinal cord and cerebral cortex was detected by immunohistochemistry.After the first electroacupuncture treatment,abdominal withdrawal reflex scores were investigated to evaluate the pain threshold for chronic visceral hypersensitivity in rats. RESULTS:Visceral hypersensitivity increased c-Fos staining(P<0.05),and electroacupuncture significantly decreased the number of these cells to near normal levels(P>0.05).Abdominal withdrawal reflex scores were significantly lower in the electroacupuncture and normal groups than in the model group(P<0.05) and were similar between the electroacupuncture and normal groups (P>0.05). 8Effect of thermal exposure on the stress-rupture life and microstructure of a low Re-containing single crystal alloy显示文摘In this paper, the stress-rupture tests of a low Re-containing single crystal alloy IC21 before and after thermal exposure at 1100 ℃for various periods of time were conducted under the test condition of 1100 ℃/137 MPa, and the microstructure of the tested specimens was characterized by SEM and TEM. The experimental results showed that the stress rupture life of this alloy was over 150 h after the standard heat treatment of1320 ℃, 10 h/AC t 870, 32 h/AC, however the stress rupture life decreased with the increase of exposure time due to the microstructure degradation. The TEM analysis revealed that the interface mismatch dislocation networks were well established. 10Classification of Imagined Speech EEG Signals with DWT and SVM显示文摘With the development of human-computer interaction technology,brain-computer interface(BCI)has been widely used in medical,entertainment,military,and other fields.Imagined speech is the latest paradigm of BCI and represents the mental process of imagining a word without making a sound or making clear facial movements.Imagined speech allows patients with physical disabilities to communicate with the outside world and use smart devices through imagination.Imagined speech can meet the needs of more complex manipulative tasks considering its more intuitive features.This study proposes a classification method of imagined speech Electroencephalogram(EEG)signals with discrete wavelet transform(DWT)and support vector machine(SVM).An open dataset that consists of 15 subjects imagining speaking six different words,namely,up,down,left,right,backward,and forward,is used.The objective is to improve the classification accuracy of imagined speech BCI system.The features of EEG signals are first extracted by DWT,and the imagined words are clas-sified by SVM with the above features.Experimental results show that the proposed method achieves an average accuracy of 61.69%,which is better than those of existing methods for classifying imagined speech tasks.ZHANG Lingwei ZHOU Zhengdong XU Yunfei JI Wentao WANG Jiawen SONG Zefeng 2022Instrumentation2022,9,2:4

13Phenotypic characterization of patients with activated PI3Kδ syndrome 1 presenting with features of systemic lupus erythematosus显示文摘Activated phosphoinositide 3-kinase d syndrome 1(APDS1)is a primary immunode-ficiency disease caused by gain-of-function mutations in PIK3CD.Clinical features of autoimmune disease have been reported in patients with APDS1.In this study,we reported three patients with APDS1 presenting with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)phenotype.The clinical manifestations included recurrent respiratory tract infection,lymphoproliferation,Coombs-positive hemolytic anemia,decreased complement fractions,positive antinuclear antibodies,renal complications related to SLE associated diseases,which met the clinical spectrum of APDS1 and the classification criteria of SLE.The immunological phenotype included an inversion in the CD4:CD8 ratio,an increase in both non-circulating Tfh CD4^(+)memory T and circulating Tfh populations,a low level of recent thymic emigrant T cells,overexpression of CD57 on T cells,and a decrease in B cells with fewer antibody class switch recombination.These phenotypes detected in patients with APDS1 presenting with SLE were resemble that in patients with APDS1 presenting without SLE.Meanwhile,we described the effect of glucocorticoids and rapamycin therapy on patients with APDS1.The phosphorylation of S6 at Ser235/236 was inhibited in patients with APDS1 who underwent glucocorticoids therapy,including two who presented with SLE phenotype.The phosphorylation of AKT at Ser473 and phosphorylation of S6 at Ser235/236 were inhibited in other patients with APDS1 who underwent rapamycin therapy.Here,we showed the coexistence of immunodeficiency and SLE phenotype in APDS1,and the inhibition of rapamycin in activated Akt-mTOR signaling pathway.Yanping Wang Qiuyun Yang Xuemei Chen Wenjing Tang Lina Zhou Zhi Chen Yunfei An Zhiyong Zhang Xuemei Tang Xiaodong Zhao 2021Genes & Diseases2021,8,6:3
14A Generalized Acceleration and Deceleration Approach for Continuous Small Line Blocks with Look-ahead显示文摘Generally complex 3D contours are divided into a lot of continuous small line blocks by CAD/CAM software. 15Analysis of the Relationship between the Cloud Water Path and Precipitation Intensity of Mature Typhoons in the Northwest Pacific Ocean显示文摘The relationship between precipitation intensity and cloud water in typhoon systems remains unclear.This study combined time-and space-synchronized precipitation and spectral data obtained by the Precipitation Radar(PR)as well as the Visible and Infrared Scanner(VIRS)onboard the TRMM satellite,to overcome the limitations of precipitation properties and cloud parameters not being synchronized in previous studies.A merged dataset of near-surface rain rate(RR)and corresponding cloud water path(CWP)was established and used to analyze the potential correlation between cloud microphysical properties and precipitation,to deepen our understanding of the evolution of cloud to rain.In addition,25 collocated satellite overpasses of mature typhoon cases in the Northwest Pacific Ocean from 1998 to 2012 were obtained,and the relationships between the CWP and RR of 144515 pixels were analyzed in detail.The results show that the CWP and RR of mature typhoon systems with different precipitation types,precipitation cloud phases,and vertical depths of precipitation can be fitted by a notable sigmoid function,which may be useful for estimating CWP and parameterizing precipitation in models.Furthermore,the relationship was applied and tested with an independent sample to show that RR is a significant indicator of CWP.Shuang LUO Yunfei FU Shengnan ZHOU Xiaofeng WANG Dongyong WANG 2020Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2020,37,4:2
16A 31-year Global Diurnal Sea Surface Temperature Dataset Created by an Ocean Mixed-Layer Model显示文摘A dataset of hourly sea surface temperature(SST) from the period 1 January 1982 to 31 December 2012, and covering the global ocean at a resolution of 0.3°× 0.3°, was created using a validated ocean mixed-layer model(MLSST). The model inputs were heat flux and surface wind speed obtained from the Coupled Forecast System Reanalysis dataset. Comparisons with in-situ data from the Tropical Atmosphere Ocean array and the National Data Buoy Center showed that the MLSST fitted very well with observations, with a mean bias of 0.07℃, and a root-mean-square error(RMSE) and correlation coefficient of 0.37℃ and 0.98, respectively. Also, the MLSST fields successfully reproduced the diurnal cycle of SST in the in-situ data, with a mean bias of -0.005℃ and RMSE of 0.26℃. The 31-year climatology revealed that the diurnal range was small across most regions, with higher values in the eastern and western equatorial Pacific, northern Indian Ocean, western Central America, northwestern Australia, and several coastal regions. Significant seasonal variation of diurnal SST existed in all basins. In the Atlantic and Pacific basins, this seasonal pattern was oriented north–south, following the variation in solar insolation, whereas in the Indian basin it was dominated by monsoonal variability. 17NC METHOD FOR GENERATION OF CONJUGATING HYPOID GEARS BASED ON NC’S FLEXIBILITY显示文摘It is known that manufacture of hypoid gears is difficult and complicated, the reason lies on the limitation of traditional mechanical machine tools. With the development of NC machine tools, there should be new ways of cutting this kind of gear. Therefore, an idea to generate gears with conjugating tooth surfaces is proposed, based on the 'flexibility' characteristic of NC that means various motions, in a sense, can be performed arbitrarily on NC machine tools.
