1Crust and Upper Mantle Electrical Resistivity Structure in the Panxi Region of the Eastern Tibetan Plateau and Its Significance显示文摘The Panxi region is located in the frontal zone of positive squeezing subduction and side squeezing shearing between the Indian plate and the Eurasian plate. The long-period magnetotelluric(LMT) and broadband magnetotelluric(MT) techniques are both used to study the deep electrical conductivity structure in this region; magnetic and gravity surveys are also performed along the profile. According to the 2-D resistivity model along the Yanyuan-Yongshan profile,a highconductivity layer(HCL) exists widely in the crust,and a high-resistivity block(HRB) exists widely in the upper mantle in general,as seen by the fact that a large HCL exists from the western Jinpingshan tectonic zone to the eastern Mabian tectonic zone in the crust,while the HRB found in the Panxi tectonic zone is of abnormally high resistivity in that background compared to both sides of Panxi tectonic zone. In addition,the gravity and magnetic field anomalies are of high value. Combined with geological data,the results indicate that there probably exists basic or ultrabasic rock with a large thickness in the lithosphere in the Panxi axial region,which indicates that fracture activity once occurred in the lithosphere. As a result,we can infer that the high-resistivity zone in the Panxi lithosphere is the eruption channel for Permian Emeishan basalt and the accumulation channel for basic and ultrabasic rock. The seismic sources along the profile are counted according to seismic record data. The results indicate that the most violent earthquake sources are located at the binding site of the HRB and the HCL,where the tectonic activity zone is generally acknowledged to be; however,the earthquakes occurring in the HCL are not so violent,which reflects the fact that the HCL is a plastic layer,and the fracture threshold of a plastic layer is low generally,making high stress difficult to accumulate but easy to release in the layer. 2Nine compounds from the root bark of Lycium chinense and their anti-inflammatory activities显示文摘Two new compounds, named lyciumlignan D(1) and lyciumphenyl propanoid A(2), along with seven known compounds, were isolated from the root bark of Lycium chinense. Their structures were elucidated using spectroscopic data(UV, IR, HR-ESI-MS, 1D and 2D NMR, CD), as well as by comparison with those of the literature. Compounds 3–9 were isolated from this genus for the first time. 3Curcumenol triggered ferroptosis in lung cancer cells via lncRNA H19/miR-19b-3p/FTH1 axis显示文摘Curcumenol,an effective ingredient of Wenyujin,has been reported that exerted its antitumor potential in a few cancer types.However,the effect and molecular mechanism of curcumenol in lung cancer are largely unknown.Here,we found that curcumenol induced cell death and suppressed cell proliferation in lung cancer cells.Next,we demonstrated that ferroptosis was the predominant method that contributed to curcumenol-induced cell death of lung cancer in vitro and vivo for the first time.Subsequently,using RNA sequencing,we found that the long non-coding RNA H19(lncRNA H19)was significantly downregulated in lung cancer cells treated with curcumenol,when compared to untreated controls.Overexpression of lncRNA H19 eliminated the anticancer effect of curcumenol,while lncRNA H19 knockdown promoted ferroptosis induced by curcumenol treatment.Mechanistically,we showed that lncRNA H19 functioned as a competing endogenous RNA to bind to miR-19b-3p,thereby enhanced the transcription activity of its endogenous target,ferritin heavy chain 1(FTH1),a marker of ferroptosis.In conclusion,our data show that the natural product curcumenol exerted its antitumor effects on lung cancer by triggering ferroptosis,and the lncRNA H19/miR-19b-3p/FTH1 axis plays an essential role in curcumenol-induced ferroptotic cell death.Therefore,our findings will hopefully provide a valuable drug for treating lung cancer patients.Ruonan Zhang Ting Pan Yu Xiang Mingming Zhang Han Xie Zimao Liang Bi Chen Cong Xu Jing Wang Xingxing Huang Qianru Zhu Ziming Zhao Quan Gao Chengyong Wen Wencheng Liu Weirui Ma Jiao Feng Xueni Sun Ting Duan Elaine Lai-Han Leung Tian Xie Qibiao Wu Xinbing Sui 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,7:8
4Inhibiting collagen Ⅰ production and tumor cell colonization in the lung via miR-29a-3p loading of exosome-/liposome-based nanovesicles显示文摘The lung is one of the most common sites for cancer metastasis.Collagens in the lung provide a permissive microenvironment that supports the colonization and outgrowth of disseminated tumor cells.Therefore,down-regulating the production of collagens may contribute to the inhibition of lung metastasis.It has been suggested that mi R-29 exhibits effective anti-fibrotic activity by negatively regulating the expression of collagens.Indeed,our clinical lung tumor data shows that mi R-29 a-3 p expression negatively correlates with collagen I expression in lung tumors and positively correlates with patients’outcomes.However,suitable carriers need to be selected to deliver this therapeutic mi RNA to the lungs.In this study,we found that the chemotherapy drug cisplatin facilitated mi R-29 a-3 p accumulation in the exosomes of lung tumor cells,and this type of exosomes exhibited a specific lung-targeting effect and promising collagen down-regulation.To scale up the preparation and simplify the delivery system,we designed a lung-targeting liposomal nanovesicle(by adjusting the molar ratio of DOTAP/cholesterol-mi RNAs to 4:1)to carry mi R-29 a-3 p and mimic the exosomes.This liposomal nanovesicle delivery system significantly down-regulated collagen I secretion by lung fibroblasts in vivo,thus alleviating the establishment of a pro-metastatic environment for circulating lung tumor cells.Yan Yan Cancan Du Xixi Duan Xiaohan Yao Jiajia Wan Ziming Jiang Zhongyu Qin Wenqing Li Longze Pan Zhuoyu Gu Fazhan Wang Ming Wang Zhihai Qin 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,2:7
5COHERENT, REGULAR AND SIMPLE SYSTEMS IN ZERO DECOMPOSITIONS OF PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL SYSTEMS显示文摘This paper studies triangular differential systems arising from various decompositions of partial differential polynomial systems. In theoretical aspects, we emphasizeon translating differential problems into purely algebraic ones. Rosenfeld’s lemma is extended to a more general setting; relations between passivity and coherence are clarified;regular systems and simple systems are generalized and proposed, respectively. 6Characterization of Five Kinds of Wood Vinegar Obtained from Agricultural and Forestry Wastes and Identification of Major Antioxidants in Wood Vinegar显示文摘Wood vinegar(WV)has a powerful antioxidant activity,but it is unclear which components are responsible for the antioxidant activity.In the present study,the double-column retention index qualitative method was used for the identification of the major components in five kinds of W7 And the major antioxidants of wood vinegar were accurately identified with the aid of Pearson product-moment correlation coefficients and authentic standard samples. Our results demonstrate that phenolic compounds are mainly responsible for the powerful antioxidant activity. 2,6-Dimethoxyphenol is the most powerful antioxidant in WV.2-Methoxyphenol and 3-methyl-1,2-cyclopentanedioue also have an important influence on the antioxidant activity of WV.Our results suggest that the contents of 2-methoxyphenol,2,6-dimethoxyphenol and 3-methyl-1,2-cyclopentanedione should act as the criteria for evaluating the antioxidant activity of WV.Our work will provide useful information for WV's application in the fields of food and medicine as antioxidants.LI Zhanchao ZHANG Zhiquan WU Lijie ZHANG Hanqi WANG Ziming 2019Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2019,35,1:4

8Optical properties and cooling performance analyses of single-layer radiative cooling coating with mixture of TiO_(2) particles and SiO_(2) particles显示文摘Radiative cooling can achieve cooling effect without consuming any energy by delivering energy into outer space(3K) through'atmospheric window'(8–13 μm). Conventional radiative cooling coating with multi-layer structure was severely restricted during application due to its complex preparation process and high cost. In this study, a single-layer radiative cooling coating with mixture of TiO_(2) particles and SiO_(2) particles was proposed. The algorithm for calculating the radiative properties of the multi-particle system was developed. Monte Carlo ray-tracing method combined with that algorithm was used to solve the radiative transfer equation(RTE) of the single-layer radiative cooling coating with mixture of TiO_(2) particles and SiO_(2) particles.The effects of particle diameter, volume fraction and coating thickness on radiative cooling performance were analyzed to obtain the best radiative cooling performance. The numerical results indicated that the average reflectivity of the single-layer radiative cooling coating with mixture of TiO_(2) particles and SiO_(2) particles in the solar spectrum can reach 95.6%, while and the average emissivity in the 'atmospheric window' spectrum can reach 94.9% without additional silver-reflectance layer. The average reflectivity in the solar spectrum and average emissivity in the 'atmospheric window' spectrum of the single-layer radiative cooling coating with mixture of TiO_(2) particles and SiO_(2) particles can increase 4.6% and 4.8% compared to the double-layer radiative cooling coating. 9Progress of Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA)显示文摘Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA) will take the advantage of the ultra-low background of CJPL lab and high current accelerator based on an ECR source and a highly sensitive detector to directly study for the first time a number of crucial reactions occurring at their relevant stellar energies during the evolution of hydrostatic stars. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. 10Perspectives and challenges for lead-free energy-storage multilayer ceramic capacitors显示文摘The growing demand for high-power-density electric and electronic systems has encouraged the development of energy-storage capacitors with attributes such as high energy density,high capacitance density,high voltage and frequency,low weight,high-temperature operability,and environmental friendliness.Compared with their electrolytic and film counterparts,energy-storage multilayer ceramic capacitors(MLCCs)stand out for their extremely low equivalent series resistance and equivalent series inductance,high current handling capability,and high-temperature stability.These characteristics are important for applications including fast-switching third-generation wide-bandgap semiconductors in electric vehicles,5G base stations,clean energy generation,and smart grids.There have been numerous reports on state-of-the-art MLCC energy-storage solutions.However,lead-free capacitors generally have a low-energy density,and high-energy density capacitors frequently contain lead,which is a key issue that hinders their broad application.In this review,we present perspectives and challenges for lead-free energy-storage MLCCs.Initially,the energy-storage mechanism and device characterization are introduced;then,dielectric ceramics for energy-storage applications with aspects of composition and structural optimization are summarized.Progress on state-of-the-art energy-storage MLCCs is discussed after elaboration of the fabrication process and structural design of the electrode.Emerging applications of energy-storage MLCCs are then discussed in terms of advanced pulsed power sources and high-density power converters from a theoretical and technological point of view.Finally,the challenges and future prospects for industrialization of lab-scale lead-free energy-storage MLCCs are discussed.Peiyao ZHAO Ziming CAI Longwen WU Chaoqiong ZHU Longtu LI Xiaohui WANG 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,6:3

13Development of optical-thermal coupled model for phosphor-converted LEDs显示文摘In this review, first, we discussed the effect of phosphor features on optical properties by the software simulation in detail. A combination of these parameters: phosphor material, phosphor particle size and particle distribution, phosphor layer concentration, phosphor layer thickness, geometry, and location of the phosphor layer, will result in the final optical performance of the phosphor layer. Secondly, we introduced how to improve light extraction efficiency with various proposed methods. Thirdly, we summarized the thermal models to predict the phosphor temperature and the junction temperature. To stabilize the optical performance of phosphor-converted light emitting diodes (PC-LEDs), much effort has been made to reduce the junction temperature of the LED chips. The phosphor temperature, a critical reliability concern for PC-LEDs, should be attracted academic interest. Finally, we summed up optical-thermal coupled model for phosphors and summarized future optical- thermal issues exploring the light quality for LEDs. 14In situ construction of ligand nano-network to integrin αvβ3 for angiogenesis inhibition显示文摘Angiogenesis occurs during the process of tumor growth,invasion and metastasis,and is essential for the survival of solid tumors.As an integrin significantly ove rexpressed in human tumor vascular endothelial cells,αvβ3 is a suitable targeting site for anti-angiogenesis of tumor.We designed and prepared a selfassembling peptide(SAP)with the ability to targeting αvβ3 and self-assembly.SAP formed nanoparticles in solution and transformed into nanofibrous network once specifically binding to integrin αvβ3 on the surface of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs).The SAP network stably anchored on HUVECs over 24h,which consequently resulted in high-efficient inhibition of vascularization.In vitro anti-angiogenesis experiment displayed that the inhibition rate of tube-formation reached 94.9%.In vivo anti-angiogenesis array based on chick chorioallantoic membrane(CAM)model exhibited that the SAP had an inhibition rate up to 63.1%.These results indicated the outstanding anti-angiogenic ability of SAP,potentially for tumor therapy.Ziming Chen Kuo Zhang Jiaqi Fan Yu Fan Chao Yang Wen Tian Yuan Li Wenliang Li Jingping Zhang Hao Wang Lei Wang 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,12:2

17A reactive oxygen species-responsive hydrogel encapsulated with bone marrow derived stem cells promotes repair and regeneration of spinal cord injury显示文摘Spinal cord injury(SCI)is an overwhelming and incurable disabling event accompanied by complicated inflammation-related pathological processes,such as excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)produced by the infiltrated inflammatory immune cells and released to the extracellular microenvironment,leading to the widespread apoptosis of the neuron cells,glial and oligodendroctyes.In this study,a thioketal-containing and ROS-scavenging hydrogel was prepared for encapsulation of the bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs),which promoted the neurogenesis and axon regeneration by scavenging the overproduced ROS and re-building a regenerative microenvironment.The hydrogel could effectively encapsulate BMSCs,and played a remarkable neuroprotective role in vivo by reducing the production of endogenous ROS,attenuating ROS-mediated oxidative damage and downregulating the inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin-1 beta(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),resulting in a reduced cell apoptosis in the spinal cord tissue.The BMSCs-encapsulated ROS-scavenging hydrogel also reduced the scar formation,and improved the neurogenesis of the spinal cord tissue,and thus distinctly enhanced the motor functional recovery of SCI rats.Our work provides a combinational strategy against ROS-mediated oxidative stress,with potential applications not only in SCI,but also in other central nervous system diseases with similar pathological conditions.Ziming Li Tengfei Zhao Jie Ding Haochen Gu Qiaoxuan Wang Yifan Wang Deteng Zhang Changyou Gao 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,1:2
18Saccades of video head impulse test in Meniere's disease and Vestibular Migraine: What can we learn from?显示文摘Background:Saccades are often observed on video head impulse tests(vHIT)in patients with Meniere's Disease(MD)and Vestibular Migraine(VM).However,their saccadic features are not fully described.Objective:This study aims to identify the saccades characteristics of MD and VM.Methods:75 VM patients and 103 definite unilateral MD patients were enrolled in this study.First raw saccades were exported and analyzed.The VM patients were divided into left and right based on their ears,while the MD patients were separated into affected and unaffected subgroups based on their audiograms and symptoms.Results:The MD patients have more saccades on the affected side(85%vs.69%),and saccade velocity is more consistent than the contralateral side(shown by the coefficient of variation).The saccades occurrence rates on both sides are similar in VM(77%vs.76%),as are other saccadic parameters.The MD patients have more significant inter-aural differences than the VM patients,manifested in higher velocity(p-value 0.000),earlier arriving(p-value 0.010),and more time-domain gathered(p-value 0.003)on the affected side.Conclusions:Bilateral saccades are commonly observed in MD and VM.In contrast to MD,saccades on VM are subtle,scattered,and late-arrived.Furthermore,the MD patients showed inconsistent saccadic distribution with more velocity-uniform saccades on the affected side.Yi Du Xingjian Liu Lili Ren Yu Wang Fei Ji Weiwei Guo Ziming Wu 2023Journal of Otology2023,18,2:1
19Empirical Comparisons of Deep Learning Networks on Liver Segmentation显示文摘Accurate segmentation of CT images of liver tumors is an important adjunct for the liver diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases.In recent years,due to the great improvement of hard device,many deep learning based methods have been proposed for automatic liver segmentation.Among them,there are the plain neural network headed by FCN and the residual neural network headed by Resnet,both of which have many variations.They have achieved certain achievements in medical image segmentation.In this paper,we firstly select five representative structures,i.e.,FCN,U-Net,Segnet,Resnet and Densenet,to investigate their performance on liver segmentation.Since original Resnet and Densenet could not perform image segmentation directly,we make some adjustments for them to perform live segmentation.Our experimental results show that Densenet performs the best on liver segmentation,followed by Resnet.Both perform much better than Segnet,U-Net,and FCN.Among Segnet,U-Net,and FCN,U-Net performs the best,followed by Segnet.FCN performs the worst.Yi Shen Victor S.Sheng Lei Wang Jie Duan Xuefeng Xi Dengyong Zhang Ziming Cui 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,3:1
