| 1 | Cluster analysis for syndromes of real-world coronary heartdisease with angina pectoris显示文摘Syndromes of coronary heart disease with angina pectoris were analyzed to provide guidance forclinical practice and to improve accuracy of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) diagnoses and efficacy of TCMtreatment. A total of 860 cases with coronary heart disease with angina pectoris were selected from TCM ClinicalResearch Information Sharing System for TCM clinics and research. Syndromes were automatically extractedwith the cluster method and were analyzed to provide objective evidence for clinical studies. Final syndromeclassifications were recognized and confirmed by clinical experts. Popular syndromes included Qi and blooddeficiency, blood stasis and obstruction collaterals, liver depression and spleen deficiency, and Qi stagnation andblood stasis. Syndromes Qi and blood deficiency and blood stasis and obstruction collaterals accounted for 28.61%of total syndromes, whereas liver depression and spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation and blood stasis accountedfor 26.44%. | 2 | Preparation of a SiC/Cristobalite-AlPO_4 Multi-layer Protective Coating on Carbon/Carbon Composites and Resultant Oxidation Kinetics and Mechanism显示文摘In order to improve the oxidation resistance of carbon/carbon (C/C) composites,a SiC/C-AlPO4 multi-layer coating was fabricated on the C/C composites by a simple and low-cost method.The internal SiC bonding layer was prepared by a two-step pack cementation process and the external C-AlPO4 coating was deposited by hydrothermal electrophoretic deposition process.Phase compositions and microstructures of the as-prepared multi-layer coating were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD),scaning electron microspocy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS).Anti-oxidation properties,oxidation behavior and the failure behavior of the coated composites were investigated.The results indicate that the multi-layer coating exhibits obviously two-layer structure.The inner layer is composed of β-SiC,α-SiC phase with a scale of silicon phase.The outer layer is composed of cristobalite aluminum phosphate (C-AlPO4) crystallites.The SEM observation shows the good bonding between the inner and outer layers.The multi-layer coating displays an excellent oxidation resistance in air in the temperature range from 1573 to 1773 K,and the corresponding oxidation activation energy of the coated C/C composites is calculated to be 117.2 kJ/mol.The oxidation process is predominantly controlled by the diffusion of O2 through the C-AlPO 4 coating.The failure of the multi-layer coating results from the generation of the microholes that may be left by the escape of the oxidation gases. | Jianfeng Huang Wendong Yang Liyun Cao | 2010 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2010,26,11: | 7 |

| 4 | In-situ optimizing the valence configuration of vanadium sites in NiV-LDH nanosheet arrays for enhanced hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Developing the highly active, cost-effective, environmental-friendly, and ultra-stable nonprecious electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) is distinctly indispensable for the large-scale practical applications of hydrolytic hydrogen production. Herein, we report the synthesis of well-integrated electrode, NiV layered double hydroxide nanosheet array grown in-situ on porous nickel foam(abbreviated as in-NiV-LDH/NF) via the facile one-step hydrothermal route. Interestingly, the valence configuration of vanadium(V) sites in such NiV-LDH are well dominated by the innovative use of NF as the reducing regulator, achieving the reassembled in-NiV-LDH/NF with a high proportion of trivalent V ions(V3+), and then an enhanced intrinsic electrocatalytic HER activity. The HER testing results show that the in-NiVLDH/NF drives the current densities of 10 and 100 mA cm-2 at extremely low overpotentials of 114 and 245 mV without iR-compensation respectively, even outperforms commercial 20 wt% Pt/C at the large current density of over 80 mA cm-2 in alkaline media, as well as gives robust catalytic durability of at least 100 h in both alkaline and neutral media. | 5 | Monitoring of atmospheric radionuclides from the Fukushima nuclear accident and assessing their impact on Xi'an, China显示文摘Aerosol radionuclides (131I, 134Cs, 137Cs) and gaseous radioactive xenon (133Xe) were monitored at Xi'an, China following the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in March 2011. The additional annual effective dose attributable to the Fukushima emissions was much lower than the public annual effective dose from natural radiation, according to Chinese national standards. The monitoring results were compared with data from other countries as well as with the radionuclide concentrations observed in Xi'an after the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1986. Possible transport pathways of the released radionuclides from Fukushima to Xi'an were investigated. | 6 | Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine plus narrow-band medium-wave ultraviolet B radiation on moderate-to-severe psoriasis vulgaris in a case series显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the efficacy and safety of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapy combined with ultraviolet B light therapy in the treatment of moderate-to-severe psoriasis. METHODS: Patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis (skin lesion area > 10% of the body surface area) for 2 consecutive years were treated with TCM (oral and external use of herbal medicines, acupuncture, and herbal bathing) and narrow-band medium-wave ultraviolet B light treatment for 12 weeks. The treatment effect was evaluated based on the Psoriasis Area Severity Index (PASI), the achievement of a 50% reduction in the PASI (PASI50), the achievement of a 75% reduction in the PASI (PASI75), pruritus score, Dermatology Life Quality Index, and safety. RESULTS: A total of 95 outpatients were enrolled, and 92 subjects (96.8%) completed the 12-week treatment course. At baseline, the average proportion of the body surface area covered by skin lesions was 12.4%, and the average PASI was 17.7. All patients had previously been treated with conventional medicine (89.1% of patients received ultraviolet light treatment, 50.0% received glucocorticoids, and 21.7% received acitretin). After the 12-week treatment course, 22 patients (23.9%) achieved PASI75, and 43 (46.7%) achieved PASI50. The post-treatment pruritus score and Dermatology Life Quality Index of all treated patients were significantly lower than the respective baseline values (P < 0.0001). | 8 | Analysis of photoluminescence behavior of high-quality single-layer MoS2显示文摘The ability to tailor and enhance photoluminescence (PL) behavior in two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) such as molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is significant for pursuing optoelectronic applications.To achieve this,it has been essential to obtain high-quality single-layer MoS2 and fully explore its intrinsic PL performance.Here,we fabricate single-layer MoS2 by a thermal vapor sulfurization method in which a pre-deposited molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) thin film is sulfurized over a short period (for several minutes) to turn into MoS2.These as-grown MoS2 crystals show quite strong PL,which is about one order of magnitude higher than that of chemical-vapor-deposited MoS2.Temperature- and power-dependent spectroscopy measurements disclose the apparent influence of sulfur (S) vacancies on the PL behavior and the noticeable free-to-bound exciton recombinations in the luminescence process.The fact that PL intensity of the sample in vacuum sharply lowered down relative to in air reveals that the high PL is facilitated by molecular adsorption on S vacancies in air.And multi-channel decay processes coupled with S vacancies are revealed in the time-resolved PL spectroscopy.In our work,single-layer MoS2 with high PL is synthesized and its defect-induced PL features are analyzed,which is of great importance for developing advanced nano-electronics and optoelectronics based on 2D structures. | Lu Xu Liyun Zhao Yunsong Wang Mingchu Zou Qing Zhang Anyuan Cao | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,7: | 2 |
| 9 | Thermal evolution effects on the properties of converting Cs-polluted soil into pollucite-base glass-ceramics for radioactive cesium immobilization显示文摘The Fukushima nuclear accident in Japan on March 11,2011,produced large amounts of Cs-polluted soil which must be controlled to prevent the spread of hazardous Cs into the environment.In this paper,the effects of heat treatment on the structure and properties of Cs-containing glass-ceramics,as a simulated nuclear waste form,were systematically investigated.Cesium atoms are chemically bonded in the pollucite structure,and the amorphous phase further encapsulates the pollucite crystals in the glassceramics,thus providing an extra protective layer for the immobilized Cs.XRD analysis,Raman and FT-IR studies on the glass-ceramics synergistically indicated that the optimum crystallization temperature for pollucite is around 1000℃.The pollucite is predominantly the main crystalline phase with a narrow crystal size distribution between 0.5 and 2 mm.Standard leaching test results show that the leaching rate of Cs was very low(3.0×10^(-3) g/(m^(2)·d)).The study offers a practical method for immobilizing Cs in pollucite-base glass-ceramics.Moreover,the experimentally obtained data may provide some important references for converting Cs-polluted soil into pollucite-base glass-ceramics waste form. | Yong Yang Xin Cao Lifen Shi Zhengyi Zhang Pingping Wang Jinwei Li Yangshan Sun Shuyong Chen Tianhe Wang Liyun Ma Shou Peng | 2021 | Journal of Materiomics2021,7,6: | 2 |

| 11 | In Situ Synthesis of Core-Shell Li4Ti5O(12) @ Polyaniline Composites with Enhanced Rate Performance for Lithium-ion Battery Anodes显示文摘The core-shell Li_4Ti_5O_(12) @ polyaniline composites(LP) have been synthesized via an in situ synthesis with different mole ratios(25:1, 50:1 and 100:1, aniline:LTO). As an anode material of lithium-ion batteries,the LP-2 electrodes(50:1) exhibit a high initial reversible capacity of 205 mAh g^(-1)with an initial coulombic efficiency of 97.6% at 0.1 C. Even at a high current density of 10 C, the reversible capacity of the LP-2 electrodes still remains at 102 mAh g^(-1). Moreover, the LP-2 electrodes retain an impressive high capacity of 161 mAh g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 1 C, with 0.11% capacity fading per cycle. | 12 | Antibacterial evaporator based on reduced graphene oxide/polypyrrole aerogel for solar-driven desalination显示文摘Solar-driven water evaporation is a sustainable method to purify seawater.Nevertheless,traditional volumetric water-evaporation systems suffer from the poor sunlight absorption and inefficient light-to-thermal conversion.Also,their anti-bacterial and antifouling performances are crucial for the practical application.Herein,we introduce reduced graphene oxide(RGO)with broadband absorbance across the entire solar spectrum,and polypyrrole(PPy),an antibacterial polymer with efficient solar absorption and low thermal conductivity,to develop integrated RGO/PPy aerogel as both the solar absorber and evaporator for highly efficient solar-driven steam generation.As a result,the RGO/PPy aerogel shows strong absorption and good photothermal performance,leading to an evaporation rate of 1.44 kg·m^(−2)·h^(−1)and high salt rejection(up to 99.99%)for real seawater,with photothermal conversion efficiency>90%under one sun irradiation.The result is attributed to the localized heat at the air-water interface by the RGO/PPy and its porous nature with functional groups that facilitates the water evaporation.Moreover,the RGO/PPy demonstrates excellent durability and antibacterial efficiency close to 100%for 12 h,crucial characteristics for longterm application.Our well-designed RGO/PPy aerogel with efficient water desalination performance and antibacterial property provides a straightforward approach to improve the solar-driven evaporation performance by multifunctional materials integration,and offers a viable route towards practical seawater desalination. | Mengru Zhang Fan Xu Wenjie Liu Yaqi Hou Liyun Su Xin Zhang Ruihua Zhang Lijun Zhou Xiaomei Yan Miao Wang Xu Hou Yang Cao | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,4: | 2 |
