| 1 | Management of cytokine release syndrome related to CAR-T cell therapy显示文摘Chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy is a novel cellular immunotherapy that is widely used to treat hematological malignancies, including acute leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Despite its remarkable clinical effects, this therapy has side effects that cannot be underestimated. Cytokine release syndrome (CRS) is one of the most clinically important and potentially life-threatening toxicities. This syndrome is a systemic immune storm that involves the mass cytokines releasing by activated immune cells. This phenomenon causes multisystem damages and sometimes even death. In this study, we reported the management of a patient with recurrent and refractory multiple myeloma and three patients with acute lymphocytic leukemia who suffered CRS during CAR-T treatment. The early application of tocilizumab, an anti-IL-6 receptor antibody, according to toxicity grading and clinical manifestation is recommended especially for patients who suffer continuous hyperpyrexia, hypotensive shock, acute respiratory failure, and whose CRS toxicities deteriorated rapidly. Moreover, low doses of dexamethasone (5-10 mg/day) were used for refractory CRS not responding to tocilizumab. | 4 | Multi-functional vesicles improve Helicobacter pylori eradication by a comprehensive strategy based on complex pathological microenvironment显示文摘Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori),creating a global infection rate over 50%,presents great challenges in clinical therapies due to its complex pathological microenvironment in vivo.To improve the eradication efficacy,herein we fabricated a pharmaceutical vesicle RHL/Cl-Ch-cal where cholesterol-PEG,calcitriol and first-line antibiotic clarithromycin were co-loaded in the rhamnolipid-composed outer lipid layer.RHL/Cl-Ch-cal could quickly penetrate through gastric mucus layer to reach H.pylori infection sites,and then effectively destroyed the architecture of H.pylori biofilms,killed dispersed H.pylori and inhibited the re-adhesion of residual bacteria(called biofilms eradication tetralogy).Moreover,RHL/Cl-Ch-cal activated the host immune response to H.pylori by replenishing cholesterol to repair lipid raft on the cell membrane of host epithelial cells.Finally,RHL/Cl-Ch-cal killed the intracellular H.pylori through recovering the lysosomal acidification and assisting degradation.In experiments,RHL/Cl-Ch-cal demonstrated prominent anti-H.pylori efficacy in the classical H.pylori-infected mice model.Therefore,the study provides a“comprehensive attack”strategy for anti-H.pylori therapies including biofilms eradication tetralogy,immune activation and intracellular bacteria killing. | Xiaonan Chen Yiqing Zou Shuqi Zhang Pengchao Fang Shuxuan Li Pengyu Li Yingying Sun Gang Yuan Haiyan Hu | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,9: | 2 |
| 5 | Synthesis and characterization of dendronized hyperbranched polymers through the “A_3+B_2” approach显示文摘Dendronized hyperbranched polymer(DHP) is a new kind of polymer, which combines the advantages of dendrimers and hyperbranched polymers. In this work, two dendronized hyperbranched polymers, DHPG0 and DHPG1, were successfully prepared through the simple 'A_3+B_2' type Sonogashira coupling reaction. The nonlinear optical(NLO) effects of DHPG0 and DHPG1, characterized by the d33 values, were 183 and 220 pm V^(–1) respectively, higher than those of their analogues of dendronized polymers and dendrimers, thanks to the special topological structure. | 6 | LIM domain proteins Pinch1/2 regulate chondrogenesis and bone mass in mice显示文摘The LIM domain-containing proteins Pinch1/2 regulate integrin activation and cell–extracellular matrix interaction and adhesion.Here,we report that deleting Pinch1 in limb mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)and Pinch2 globally(double knockout;dKO)in mice causes severe chondrodysplasia,while single mutant mice do not display marked defects.Pinch deletion decreases chondrocyte proliferation,accelerates cell differentiation and disrupts column formation.Pinch loss drastically reduces Smad2/3 protein expression in proliferative zone(PZ)chondrocytes and increases Runx2 and Col10a1 expression in both PZ and hypertrophic zone(HZ)chondrocytes.Pinch loss increases sclerostin and Rankl expression in HZ chondrocytes,reduces bone formation,and increases bone resorption,leading to low bone mass.In vitro studies revealed that Pinch1 and Smad2/3 colocalize in the nuclei of chondrocytes.Through its C-terminal region,Pinch1 interacts with Smad2/3 proteins.Pinch loss increases Smad2/3 ubiquitination and degradation in primary bone marrow stromal cells(BMSCs).Pinch loss reduces TGF-β-induced Smad2/3 phosphorylation and nuclear localization in primary BMSCs.Interestingly,compared to those from single mutant mice,BMSCs from dKO mice express dramatically lower protein levels ofβ-catenin and Yap1/Taz and display reduced osteogenic but increased adipogenic differentiation capacity.Finally,ablating Pinch1 in chondrocytes and Pinch2 globally causes severe osteopenia with subtle limb shortening.Collectively,our findings demonstrate critical roles for Pinch1/2 and a functional redundancy of both factors in the control of chondrogenesis and bone mass through distinct mechanisms. | Yiming Lei Xuekun Fu Pengyu Li Sixiong Lin Qinnan Yan Yumei Lai Xin Liu Yishu Wang Xiaochun Bai Chuanju Liu Di Chen Xuenong Zou Xu Cao Huiling Cao Guozhi Xiao | 2020 | Bone Research2020,8,4: | 2 |

| 8 | Printed Surface Defect Detection Model Based on Positive Samples显示文摘For a long time, the detection and extraction of printed surfacedefects has been a hot issue in the print industry. Nowadays, defect detectionof a large number of products still relies on traditional image processingalgorithms such as scale invariant feature transform (SIFT) and orientedfast and rotated brief (ORB), and researchers need to design algorithms forspecific products. At present, a large number of defect detection algorithmsbased on object detection have been applied but need lots of labeling sampleswith defects. Besides, there are many kinds of defects in printed surface,so it is difficult to enumerate all defects. Most defect detection based onunsupervised learning of positive samples use generative adversarial networks(GAN) and variational auto-encoders (VAE) algorithms, but these methodsare not effective for complex printed surface. Aiming at these problems, Inthis paper, an unsupervised defect detection and extraction algorithm forprinted surface based on positive samples in the complex printed surface isproposed innovatively. We propose a kind of defect detection and extractionnetwork based on image matching network. This network is divided into thefull convolution network of feature points extraction, and the graph attentionnetwork using self attention and cross attention. Though the key pointsextraction network, we can get robustness key points in the complex printedimages, and the graph network can solve the problem of the deviation becauseof different camera positions and the influence of defect in the differentproduction lines. Just one positive sample image is needed as the benchmarkto detect the defects. The algorithm in this paper has been proved in “TheFirst ZhengTu Cup on Campus Machine Vision AI Competition” and gotexcellent results in the finals. | 11 | Impulsivity-related right superior frontal gyrus as a biomarker of internet gaming disorder显示文摘Background Internet gaming disorder(IGD)is a mental health issue that affects individuals worldwide.However,the lack of knowledge about the biomarkers associated with the development of IGD has restricted the diagnosis and treatment of this disorder.Aims We aimed to reveal the biomarkers associated with the development of IGD through resting-state brain network analysis and provide clues for the diagnosis and treatment of IGD.Methods Twenty-six patients with IGD,23 excessive internet game users(EIUs)who recurrently played internet games but were not diagnosed with IGD and 29 healthy controls(HCs)performed delay discounting task(DDT)and Iowa gambling task(IGT).Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)data were also collected.Results Patients with IGD exhibited significantly lower hubness in the right medial orbital part of the superior frontal gyrus(ORBsupmed)than both the EIU and the HC groups.Additionally,the hubness of the right ORBsupmed was found to be positively correlated with the highest excessive internet gaming degree during the past year in the EIU group but not the IGD group;this might be the protective mechanism that prevents EIUs from becoming addicted to internet games.Moreover,the hubness of the right ORBsupmed was found to be related to the treatment outcome of patients with IGD,with higher hubness of this region indicating better recovery when undergoing forced abstinence.Further modelling analysis of the DDT and IGT showed that patients with IGD displayed higher impulsivity during the decision-making process,and impulsivity-related parameters were negatively correlated with the hubness of right ORBsupmed.Conclusions Our findings revealed that the impulsivity-related right ORBsupmed hubness could serve as a potential biomarker of IGD and provide clues for the diagnosis and treatment of IGD. | Pengyu Zhang Yu Pan Rujing Zha Hongwen Song Cunfeng Yuan Qian Zhao Yi Piao Jiecheng Ren Yijun Chen Peipeng Liang Ran Tao Zhengde Wei Xiaochu Zhang | 2023 | General Psychiatry2023,36,4: | 1 |

To understand the physical origins of the low frequency resonant modes, the density functional theory (DFT) was adopted for theoretical calculation. It was found that the collective THz frequency motions were decided by the intramolecular and intermolecular hydrogen bond interactions. Moreover, the quantification of penicillamine enantiomers mixture was demonstrated by a THz spectra fitting method with a relative error of less than 3.5%. | 16 | An ultra-fast charging strategy for lithium-ion battery at low temperature without lithium plating显示文摘Conventional charging methods for lithium-ion battery(LIB)are challenged with vital problems at low temperatures:risk of lithium(Li)plating and low charging speed.This study proposes a fast-charging strategy without Li plating to achieve high-rate charging at low temperatures with bidirectional chargers.The strategy combines the pulsed-heating method and the optimal charging method via precise control of the battery states.A thermo-electric coupled model is developed based on the pseudo-twodimensional(P2D)electrochemical model to derive charging performances.Two current maps of pulsed heating and charging are generated to realize real-time control.Therefore,our proposed strategy achieves a 3 C equivalent rate at 0℃ and 1.5 C at-10℃ without Li plating,which is 10–30 times faster than the traditional methods.The entropy method is employed to balance the charging speed and the energy efficiency,and the charging performance is further enhanced.For practical application,the power limitation of the charger is considered,and a 2.4 C equivalent rate is achieved at 0℃ with a 250 kW maximum power output.This novel strategy significantly expands LIB usage boundary,and increases charging speed and battery safety. | Yudi Qin Pengyu Zuo Xiaoru Chen Wenjing Yuan Rong Huang Xiaokan Yang Jiuyu Du Languang Lu Xuebing Han Minggao Ouyang | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,9: | 1 |
| 17 | Selective oxidation of ethane to aldehydes over SBA-15 supported molybdenum catalyst显示文摘SBA-15 supported Mo catalysts(Moy/SBA-15) were prepared by an ultrasonic assisted incipient-wetness impregnation method. The physical and chemical properties of the catalysts were characterized by means of N2-adsorption-desorption, XRD, TEM, UV-Vis, Raman, XANES and H2-TPR. The results showed that a trace amount of MoO3 was produced on high Mo content samples. Turn-over frequency(TOF) and product selectivity are dependent on the molybdenum content. Both Mo0.75/SBA-15 and Mo1.75/SBA-15 catalysts give the higher catalytic activity and the selectivity to the total aldehydes for the selective oxidation of C2H6. At the reaction temperature of 625℃, the maximum yield of aldehydes reached 4.2% over Mo0.75/SBA-15 catalyst. | 18 | Rapid Seedless Synthesis of Gold Nanoplates with Microscaled Edge Length in a High Yield and Their Application in SERS显示文摘We report a facile and reproducible approach toward rapid seedless synthesis of single crystalline gold nanoplates with edge length on the order of microns.The reaction is carried out by reducing gold ions with ascorbic acid in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB).Reaction temperature and molar ratio of CTAB/Au are critical for the formation of gold nanoplates in a high yield,which are,respectively,optimized to be 85 °C and 6.The highest yield that can be achieved is 60 % at the optimized condition.The synthesis to achieve the microscaled gold nanoplates can be finished in less than 1 h under proper reaction conditions.Therefore,the reported synthesis approach is a time-and costeffective one.The gold nanoplates were further employed as the surface-enhanced Raman scattering substrates and investigated individually.Interestingly,only those adsorbed with gold nanoparticles exhibit pronounced Raman signals of probe molecules,where a maximum enhancement factor of 1.7 9 10~7 was obtained.The obtained Raman enhancement can be ascribed to the plasmon coupling between the gold nanoplate and the nanoparticle adsorbed onto it. | Sheng Chen Pengyu Xu Yue Li Junfei Xue Song Han Weihui Ou Li Li Weihai Ni | 2016 | Nano-Micro Letters2016,8,4: | 1 |
| 19 | 3D printed titanium scaffolds with ordered TiO_(2) nanotubular surface and mesoporous bioactive glass for bone repair显示文摘Titanium alloy scaffolds have recently gained substantial interest for the treatment of critical-size bone defect,particularly along with the maturity of the 3D printing technology that is capable of turning scaffold design ideas into real implants.As titanium alloys lack surface osteogenic activity,for improved biological performance of such scaffolds,surface modification is necessary.Various coating materials and coating methods have been explored.In this study,we developed a unique surface modification method to provide the surface of 3D printed titanium scaffolds with nano-sized structure and bioactive agent.Uniform,ordered TiO2 nanotube arrays were formed by applying two-step anodization,and then mesoporous bioactive glass(MBG)was loaded into nanotubes.The results of in vitro immersion testing showed that bioactive ions,i.e.,Si and Ca ions,could be steadily and continuously released from MBG into basal medium.The assessment of the responses of hBMSCs confirmed that the surface-modified scaffolds supported the adhesion and proliferation of hBMSCs,indicating good surface cytocompatibility.The developed method of combining surface nanostructure and bioactive agent could be used as a new strategy to improve the osteogenic activity of 3D printed titanium alloy scaffolds. | Pengyu Zhao Yaqin Liu Tian Li Yanling Zhou Sander Leeflang Lei Chen Chengtie Wu Jie Zhou Zhiguang Huan | 2020 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2020,30,4: | 1 |
