| 1 | A comparative study of Mg-Gd-Y-Zr alloy cast by metal mould and sand mould显示文摘The differences of the microstructure and mechanical property between metal mould and sand mould cast Mg-10Gd-3Y-Zr alloy were investigated both under as-cast condition and after solution heat treatment.In the as-cast specimens,the microstructure is similar and composed of α-Mg solid solution and eutectic compound of α-Mg+ Mg24(Gd,Y) 5;whereas the grain size using metal mould and sand mould is 27 μm and 71 μm,respectively.The eutectic compound of metal mould cast alloy was completely dissolved after solution treated at 500℃ for 8 h,however it needs higher temperature(525 ℃) and longer time(12 h) to achieve the absolute dissolving under sand mould condition.In contrast to metal mould,the peak time of sand mould alloy aged at 225 ℃ and 250 ℃ of was advanced by 4 h and 6 h,respectively.The precipitation reaction sequence in sand mould cast Mg-10Gd-3Y-Zr alloy during isothermal ageing at 250 ℃ follows S.S.S.S.→β″(D019) →β'(cboc) →β1(fcc) →β(fcc) ,which is similar to that in the alloy cast using metal mould. | Wang Qilong Wu Guohua Hou Zhengquan Chen Bin Zheng Yun Ding Wenjiang | 2010 | China Foundry2010,7,1: | 3 |
| 2 | Dynamic edge-based biomarker non-invasively predicts hepatocellular carcinoma with hepatitis B virus infection for individual patients based on blood testing显示文摘Hepatitis B virus (HBV)-induced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a major cause of cancer-related deaths in Asia and Africa. Developing effective and non-invasive biomarkers of HCC for individual patients remains an urgent task for early diagnosis and convenient monitoring. Analyzing the transcriptomic profiles of peripheral blood mononuclear cells from both healthy donors and patients with chronic HBV infection in different states (i.e. HBV carrier, chronic hepatitis B, cirrhosis, and HCC), we identified a set of 19 candidate genes according to our algorithm of dynamic network biomarkers. These genes can both characterize different stages during HCC progression and identify cirrhosis as the critical transition stage before carcinogenesis. The interaction effects (i.e. coexpressions) of candidate genes were used to build an accurate prediction model: the so-called edge-based biomarker. Considering the convenience and robustness of biomarkers in clinical applications, we performed functional analysis, validated candidate genes in other independent samples of our collected cohort, and finally selected COL5A1, HLA-DQB1, MMP2, and CDK4 to build edge panel as prediction models. We demonstrated that the edge panel had great performance in both diagnosis and prognosis in terms of precision and specificity for HCC, especially for patients with alpha-fetoprotein-negative HCC. | 4 | In situ FTIR investigation on phase transformations in BN nanoparticles显示文摘Fourier transformation infrared spectrum (FTIR) was employed to investigate phase transformation of nanoparticle BN, containing eBN, rBN, wBN and cBN, in which eBN and rBN are the main components. We found that part of eBN was converted into rBN at 200―350℃. At and above 400℃, eBN transformed into wBN, and some of wBN were converted into cBN simultaneously. This conclusion is supported by the results from high- resolution transmission electron microscopic (HRTEM) and Raman spectroscopic measurements. In this work, the converting processes be- tween different BN phases were continuously monitored by in situ FTIR spectroscopy. | 5 | Surfactant-assisted fabrication of graphene frameworks endowing epoxy composites with superior thermal conductivity显示文摘With the rapid growth in electronic device performance,there has been an increasing demand for thermally conductive polymer composites to handle the thermal management issue,thus contributing to the great importance to develop the graphene framework,which is evaluated as the most promising reinforcements for enhancing the thermal conductivity of polymer.Vacuum filtration is a common method to fabricate graphene framework,whereas,it is available to prepare a framework with centimeter-scale thickness by filtrating the graphene-water dispersion,due to the fact of sample cracking caused by the mismatch of surface tension between graphene and water.In this work,a surfactantassisted strategy was proposed by adjusting the surface tension of the water close to that of graphene first,then performing a conventional filtration process,to fabricate graphene framework.As a result,a thick graphene framework(thickness:3 cm)was successfully prepared,and after embedding into epoxy,the framework endows the composite(13.6 wt%)with a high in-plane thermal conductivities of12.4 W/mK,which is equivalent to≈64 times higher than that of neat epoxy.Our method is simple and compatible with the conventional filtration process,suggesting great potential for the mass-production of graphene framework to meet the practical application requirements. | Fan Zhang Chen Ye Wen Dai Le Lv Qilong Yuan Kuan W.A.Chee Ke Yang Nan Jiang Cheng-Te Lin Zhaolin Zhan Dan Dai He Li | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,1: | 2 |

| 16 | Boosting xenon adsorption with record capacity in microporous carbon molecular sieves显示文摘Xenon/krypton(Xe/Kr)separation is an important task in industry,yet it remains challenging to develop adsorbents with high Xe/Kr selectivity and adsorption capacity of Xe,especially at low partial pressures.Herein,we report a series of microporous carbon molecular sieves(CMSs)for Xe/Kr separation.Those materials have ideal bimodal pore size distributions that not only provide substantial space for the accommodation of gas molecules,but also allow selective diffusion of gas molecules.Additionally,the carbon frameworks decorated with polar oxygen-containing functional groups afford higher affinity for Xe than Kr,which is proven by density functional theory(DFT)calculations and charge density difference analysis.The optimal CPVDC-700 exhibits a high selectivity of Xe/Kr and,more importantly,a record-high uptake of Xe(2.93 mmol g^(-1))at 0.2 bar and298 K,which is the highest among all the reported carbon adsorbents.Breakthrough experiments confirm the excellent performance of such CMSs for Xe/Kr separation,and the dynamic adsorption uptake of Xe and productivity of high-purity Kr are calculated to be 2.91 mmol g^(-1)and 208 m L g^(-1)(9.29 mmol g^(-1)),respectively,which also set up a new benchmark for Xe/Kr separation of carbon adsorbents. | Fuqiang Chen Xinlei Huang Liu Yang Zhiguo Zhang Qiwei Yang Yiwei Yang Dan Zhao Qilong Ren Zongbi Bao | 2023 | Science China Chemistry2023,66,2: | 1 |
