| 1 | Paleomagnetic results from Late Carboniferous to Early Permian rocks in the northern Qiangtang terrane, Tibet, China, and their tectonic implications显示文摘Results of a systematic paleomagnetic study are reported based on Late Carboniferous to Early Permian sedimentary rocks on the north slope of the Tanggula Mountains,in the northern Qiangtang terrane(NQT),Tibet,China.Data revealed that magnetic minerals in limestone samples from the Zarigen Formation(CP^z)are primarily composed of magnetite,while those in sandstone samples from the Nuoribagaribao Formation(Pnr)are dominated by hematite alone,or hematite and magnetite in combination.Progressive thermal,or alternating field,demagnetization allowed us to isolate a stable high temperature component(HTC)in 127 specimens from 16 sites which successfully passed the conglomerate test,consistent with primary remnance.The tilt-corrected mean direction for Late Carboniferous to Early Permian rocks in the northern Qiangtang terrane is D_s=30.2°,I_s=-40.9°,k_s=269.0,a_(95)=2.3°,N=16,which yields a corresponding paleomagnetic pole at 25.7°N,241.5°E(dp/dm=2.8°/1.7°),and a paleolatitude of 23.4°S.Our results,together with previously reported paleomagnetic data,indicate that:(1)the NQT in Tibet,China,was located at a low latitude in the southern hemisphere,and may have belonged to the northern margin of Gondwana during the Late Carboniferous to Early Permian;(2)the Paleo-Tethys Ocean was large during the Late Carboniferous to Early Permian,and(3)the NQT subsequently moved rapidly northwards,perhaps related to the fact that the Paleo-Tethys Ocean was rapidly contracting from the Late Permian to Late Triassic while the Bangong Lake-Nujiang Ocean,the northern branch of the Neo-Tethys Ocean,expanded rapidly during this time. | YANG XingFeng CHENG Xin ZHOU YaNan MA Lun ZHANG XiaoDong YAN ZhaoSheng PENG XiMing SU HaiLun WU HanNing | 2017 | Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,1: | 5 |

| 8 | Thermal Property Measurements of a Large Prismatic Lithium-ion Battery for Electric Vehicles显示文摘Because of the high cost of measuring the specific heat capacity and the difficulty in measuring the thermal conductivity of prismatic lithium-ion batteries,two devices with a sandwiched core of the sample-electric heating film-sample were designed and developed to measure the thermal properties of the batteries based on Fourier's thermal equation.Similar to electrical circuit modeling,two equivalent thermal circuits were constructed to model the heat loss of the self-made devices,one thermal-resistance steady circuit for the purpose of measuring the thermal conductivity,the other thermal-resistance-capacitance dynamic circuit for the purpose of measuring the specific heat capacity.Using the analytic method and recursive least squares,the lumped model parameters of these two thermal circuits were extracted to estimate the heat loss and correct the measured values of the self-made devices.Compared to the standard values of the reference samples of the glass and steel plates,the measured values were corrected to improve the measurement accuracies beyond 95% through steady thermal-circuit modeling.Compared to the measured value of the specific heat capacity of the battery sample at 50% state of charge using the calorimeter,the measured value using the self-made device was corrected in order to elevate the measurement accuracy by about 90% through dynamic thermal-circuit modeling.As verified through the experiments,it was reliable,convenient,and low cost for the proposed methodology to measure the thermal properties of prismatic lithium-ion batteries. | CHENG Ximing TANG Yu WANG Zhenpo | 2021 | Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,2: | 1 |

| 10 | Investigation of stress distribution and damage behavior caused by forced installation of a composite bolted joint with a hole-location error显示文摘In this paper,the influence of forced installation caused by a hole-location error on the 3D stress distribution and damage of a composite bolted joint is investigated.An analytical model of stress distributed on composite holes is promoted,in view of non-uniform extrusion caused by forced installation.At first,non-uniform extrusion of the hole edge caused by forced installation is analyzed.According to the contact state,expression of hole deformation is given.Then,based on Hertz theory,the maximum extrusion load is obtained with help of deformation expression.By constructing an elastic foundation beam model,3D stress distributed on a hole could be analyzed according to the extrusion load.Then,stress distribution predicted by the above analytical method is compared with that provided by FE considering composite damage.Finally,a forced installation experiment is carried out to analyze the damage distribution of the joint.Results show that a central-symmetrically distributed stress is introduced by the hole-location error.With an increment of the error,strength of composite decreases due to extrusion damage.Therefore,stress presents a concave distribution on the hole.As the hole-location error exceeding 3%,stress decreases gradually due to failure of composite.Damage of holes does not exhibit a centrosymmetric distribution.Serious damage is mainly distributed on the entrance of the hole at the lower sheet. | Chinan LIU Yuan LI Yi CHENG An’an ZHAO Kunpeng DU Yue SHI Ximing LI Hui CHENG | 2024 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2024,37,1: | 0 |
