| 1 | Immune response,stress resistance and bacterial challenge in juvenile rainbow trouts Oncorhynchus mykiss fed diets containing chitosan-oligosaccharides显示文摘Effects of dietary supplementation of chitosan-oligosaccharides(COS)on the growth performance,immune response,stress resistance,and disease resistance of juvenile rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss were studied.Four experimental diets containing 0,20,40,or 60 mg/kg COS(COS0,COS20,COS40,and COS60,respectively)were fed to juvenile rainbow trout(initial weight=5.2±0.3 g)for 8 weeks.By the end of the feeding trial,representative groups of fish from each dietary treatment were challenged with stressor(30 sec air exposure)and pathogen exposure(intraperitoneal injection with Aeromonas hydrophila).Results showed that supplementation of COS in diets did not affect production performance and body composition of rainbow trout.However,fish fed the COS40 diet demonstrated improved phagocytic activities,respiratory burst activities and decreased serum cortisol level.Additionally,survival following A.hydrophila challenge was significant higher among fish fed the COS-supplemented feeds,although there was no difference based on the level of supplementation.The present study suggests that COS can be used as an immuno-stimulant in rainbow trout feeds. | Lin LUO Xuefeng CAI Chuan HE Min XUE Xiufeng WU Haining CAO | 2009 | Current Zoology2009,55,6: | 22 |
| 2 | Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. | 3 | Total mesopancreas excision for pancreatic head cancer: analysis of 120 cases显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the feasibility and safety of total mesopancreas excision(TMpE) in the treatment of pancreatic head cancer. Methods: The clinical and pathological data of 120 patients with pancreatic head cancer who had undergone TMpE in our center from May 2010 to January 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The mean operative time was(275.0±50.2) min and the average intra-operative blood loss was(390.0±160.5) mL. Post-operative complications were reported in 45 patients, while no peri-operative death was noted. The specimen margins were measured in three dimensions, and 86 patients(71.6%) achieved R0 resection. | 4 | Milling surface roughness for 7050 aluminum alloy cavity influenced by nozzle position of nanofluid minimum quantity lubrication显示文摘In nanofluid minimum quantity lubrication(NMQL)milling of aviation aluminum alloy,it is the bottleneck problem to adjust the position parameters(target distance,incidence angle,and elevation angle)of the nozzle to improve the surface roughness of milling,which has large and uncontrollable errors.In this paper,the influence law of milling cutter speed,helical angle,and cavity shape on the flow field around the milling cutter was studied,and the optimal nozzle profile parameters were obtained.Using 7050 aluminum alloy as the workpiece material,the milling experiment of the NMQL cavity was conducted by utilizing cottonseed oil-based Al2 O3 nanofluid.Results show that the high velocity of the surrounding air flow field and the strong gas barrier could be attributed to high rotating velocities of the milling cutter.The incidence angle of the nozzle was consistent with the helical angle of the milling cutter,the target distance was appropriate at 25–30 mm,and the elevation angle was suitable at 60°–65°.The range and variance analyses of the signal-to-noise ratio of milling force and roughness were performed,and the chip morphology was observed and analyzed.The results show that the optimal combination of nozzle position parameters was the target distance of 30 mm,the incidence angle of 35°,and the elevation angle of 60°.Among these parameters,target distance had the largest impact on cutting performance with a contribution rate of more than 55%,followed by incidence angle and elevation contribution rate.Analysis by orthogonal experiment revealed that the nozzle position parameters were appropriate,and Ra(0.087 lm)was reduced by 30.4%from the maximum value(0.125 lm).Moreover,Rsm(0.05 mm)was minimum,which was 36%lower than that of the seventh group(Rsm=0.078 mm). | Zhenjing DUAN Changhe LI Yanbin ZHANG Lan DONG Xiufang BAI Min YANG Dongzhou JIA Runze LI Huajun CAO Xuefeng XU | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,6: | 10 |

| 8 | Evaluating the Accuracy of ERA5 Wave Reanalysis in the Water Around China显示文摘Wave parameters, such as wave height and wave period, are important for human activities, such as navigation, ocean engineering and sediment transport, etc. In this study, wave data from six buoys around Chinese waters, are used to assess the quality of wave height and wave period in the ERA5 reanalysis of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts. Annual hourly data with temporal resolution are used. The difference between the significant wave height(SWH) of ERA 5 and that of the buoy varies from-0.35 m to 0.30 m for the three shallow locations;for the three deep locations, the variation ranges from-0.09 m to 0.09 m. The ERA5 SWH data show positive biases, indicating an overall overestimation for all locations, except for E2 and S1 where underestimation is observed. During the tropical cyclone period, a large(about 32%) underestimation of the maximum SWH in the ERA5 data is observed. Hence, the ERA5 SWH data cannot be used for design applications without site-specific validation. The difference between the annual wave period from ERA5 and the mean wave period from the buoys varies from-1.31 s to 0.4 s. Inter-comparisons suggest that the ERA5 dataset is consistent with the annual mean SWH. However, for the average period, the performance is not good, and half of the correlation coefficients in the four points are less 50%. | 9 | An MYB Transcription Factor from Malus xiaojinensis Has a Potential Role in Iron Nutrition显示文摘Regulation of iron uptake and use is critical for plant survival and growth. We isolated an MYB gene from Malus xiaojinensis named MxMYB1, which is induced under Fe-deficient conditions. Expression of MxMYB1 was upregulated by Fe starvation in the roots but not in leaves, suggesting that MxMYB1 might play a role in iron nutrition in roots. Transgenic Arabidopsis plants expressing MxMYB1 exhibited lower iron content as compared with wild type plants under both Fe-normal (40 μM) and Fe-deficient conditions (Fe omitted and Ferrozine 300 μM). However, the contents of Cu, Zn and Mn were not changed in these transgenic plants. Gene chip and real-time polymerase chain reaction analyses indicated that the expression of two Fe-related genes encoding an iron transporter AtIRT1 and an iron storage protein ferritin AtFER1 might be negatively regulated by MxMYB1 as the expression levels of these genes were lower in MxMYB1 expressing transgenic Arabidopsis plants as compared with wild type plants under both Fe-normal and Fe-deficient conditions. A clearance function is used to describe the film thickness of air journal bearings with angular misalignment along two perpendicular directions. The finite different method(FDM) and an iterative procedure are applied to solve the Reynolds equation and obtain the air film pressure distribution. Various eccentricity ratios and rotating speeds are taken into considerations for the comparisons of static performances of the air journal bearing under different tilt angles.
