1Tissue-specific transcription reprogramming promotes liver metastasis of colorectal cancer显示文摘Metastasis,the development of secondary malignant growths at a distance from a primary tumor,is the cause of death for 90%of cancer patients,but little is known about how metastatic cancer cells adapt to and colonize new tissue environments.Here,using clinical samples,patient-derived xenograft(PDX)samples,PDX cells,and primary/metastatic cell lines,we discovered that liver metastatic colorectal cancer(CRC)cells lose their colon-specific gene transcription program yet gain a liver-specific gene transcription program.We showed that this transcription reprogramming is driven by a reshaped epigenetic landscape of both typical enhancers and super-enhancers.Further,we identified that the liver-specific transcription factors FOXA2 and HNF1A can bind to the gained enhancers and activate the liver-specific gene transcription,thereby driving CRC liver metastasis.Importantly,similar transcription reprogramming can be observed in multiple cancer types.Our data suggest that reprogrammed tissue-specific transcription promotes metastasis and should be targeted therapeutically.Shuaishuai Teng Yang Eric Li Ming Yang Rui Qi Yiming Huang Qianyu Wang Yanmei Zhang Shanwen Chen Shasha Li Kequan Lin Yang Cao Qunsheng Ji Qingyang Gu Yujing Cheng Zai Chang Wei Guo Pengyuan Wang Ivan Garcia-Bassets Zhi John Lu Dong Wang 2020Cell Research2020,30,1:11

13Assessing Heat-related Mortality Risks in Beijing,China显示文摘Objective To obtain the exposure-response relationship for temperature and mortality,and assess the risk of heat-related premature death.Methods A statistical model was developed using a Poisson generalized linear regression model with Beijing mortality and temperature data from October 1st,2006 to September 30th,2008.We calculated the exposure-response relationship for temperature and mortality in the central city,and inner suburban and outer suburban regions.Based on this relationship,a health risk model was used to assess the risk of heat-related premature death in the summer(June to August) of 2009.Results The population in the outer suburbs had the highest temperature-related mortality risk.People in the central city had a mid-range risk,while people in the inner suburbs had the lowest risk.Risk assessment predicted that the number of heat-related premature deaths in the summer of 2009 was 1581.The city areas of Chaoyang and Haidian districts had the highest number of premature deaths.The number of premature deaths in the southern areas of Beijing(Fangshan,Fengtai,Daxing,and Tongzhou districts) was in the mid-range.Conclusion Ambient temperature significantly affects human mortality in Beijing.People in the city and outer suburban area have a higher temperature-related mortality risk than people in the inner suburban area.This may be explained by a temperature-related vulnerability.LI Tian Tian GAO Yan Lin WEI Zai Hua WANG Jing GUO Ya Fei LIU Fan LIU Zhao Rong CHENG Yah Li 2012Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2012,25,4:1
14Impeded degradation of perovskite solar cells via the dual interfacial modification of siloxane显示文摘It is challenging to improve the long-term stability of perovskite solar cells(PSCs) without sacrificing efficiency. The perovskite absorbers degrade from the film surface/interfaces, which follows entangled mechanisms that have not been fully revealed yet.Herein, we decouple and elaborate two distinctive pathways regarding film degradation based on FACsPbI3perovskites.Moreover, a dual interfacial modification strategy has been developed for improving the material’s intrinsic stability, thus leading to the film degrading in a more retardant pathway. The corresponding PSCs achieve a stable power output efficiency of 23.75%.More importantly, the unencapsulated PSCs devices retain over 93% of their initial PCE after the maximum power point(MPP)tracking under the continuous 1-sun illumination and show significantly improved stability after aged under the thermal treatment or stored in ambient atmosphere for over 1500 hours without obvious PCE decay. 16Stress compensation based on interfacial nanostructures for stable perovskite solar cells显示文摘The long-term stability issue of halide perovskite solar cells hinders their commercialization.The residual stress-strain affects device stability,which is derived from the mismatched thermophysical and mechanical properties between adjacent layers.In this work,we introduced the Rb_(2)CO_(3)layer at the interface of SnO_(2)/perovskite with the hierarchy morphology of snowflake-like microislands and dendritic nanostructures.With a suitable thermal expansion coefficient,the Rb_(2)CO_(3)layer benefits the interfacial stress relaxation and results in a compressive stress-strain in the perovskite layer.Moreover,reduced nonradiative recombination losses and optimized band alignment were achieved.An enhancement of open-circuit voltage from 1.087 to 1.153 V in the resultant device was witnessed,which led to power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 22.7%(active area of 0.08313 cm^(2))and 20.6%(1 cm2).Moreover,these devices retained 95%of its initial PCE under the maximum power point tracking(MPPT)after 2700 h.It suggests inorganic materials with high thermal expansion coefficients and specific nanostructures are promising candidates to optimize interfacial mechanics,which improves the operational stability of perovskite cells.Cheng Zhu Xi Wang Hangxuan Li Chenyue Wang Ziyan Gao Pengxiang Zhang Xiuxiu Niu Nengxu Li Zipeng Xu Zhenhuang Su Yihua Chen Huachao Zai Haipeng Xie Yizhou Zhao Ning Yang Guilin Liu Xueyun Wang Huanping Zhou Jiawang Hong Xingyu Gao Yang Bai Qi Chen 2023Interdisciplinary Materials2023,2,2:0
